Katy Perry has been sued for copyright infringement by a group of Christian hip-hop musicians from Missouri.
The group are saying that not only is Katy’s song Dark Horse a rip off of their song Joyful Noise, but she also exploited it and profited from it. The lawsuit reads: “And by any measure, the devoutly religious message of ‘Joyful Noise’ has been irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in ‘Dark Horse’.
“Indeed, the music video of ‘Dark Horse’ generated widespread accusations of blasphemy and an online petition signed by more than 60,000 demanding removal of an offensive religious image from the video” – an Allah pendant was removed from the video in February.
Joyful Noise was released in 2008, while Dark Horse didn’t come out until last year, and while there IS a similar beat in both songs, we can’t be sure. Do you think Katy is a copy cat?
Robin Thicke really isn’t having a great week, first his Twitter Q&A was completely taken over by Twitter trolls, and the now singer has revealed that he hasn’t seen his estranged wife, Paula in four months.
Robin decided to talk about his relationship with Paula for a radio interview this morning.
“I try to keep most of that private, but, I haven’t seen her for four months.”
The singer went on to talk about his split with Paula and said it had nothing to do with cheating rumours, but the couple were having problems for a while.
“….is not why we’re apart. We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while. There’s a hundred different reasons, there isn’t just one. There’s a long list… I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy, and little too full of myself.”
Robin also said that Paula hasn’t listened to his new album but is aware that it is dedicated to her.
“She hasn’t heard the album. She’s only heard a few songs. I don’t think she wants to hear it right now. I can’t speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process.”
Hmm we still think naming a whole album after your estranged wife, is still not the greatest move when it comes to marital break-ups.

Channing Tatum is playing the role of real-life Olympic wrestling champ Mark Schultz in his upcoming flick Foxcatcher.
The story is based around the killing of Schultz’s gold-medalist brother Dave by his athletic team sponsor, John Eleuthère du Pont, played by Steve Carell.
Both Channing and Carell wear a lot of prosthetic make up in the film – so don’t be surprised if they’re looking a bit different!
Channing says getting in shape for the film was torture, and he even sustained some injuries when he shattered a mirror by slamming his head into it: “I missed a stud [in the wall] by about two inches, but the cut [on my head] and the blood were real.”
Ouch! Check out the intense moment in the trailer, but you’ll have to wait until November for the rest of the film.

We thought Jay-Z and Beyonce were good, after giving lots of PDA at the BET awards last Sunday. But the Jay-Z affair rumours are rife again, as fans are now claiming that Queen B herself, may have hinted at a possible marital affair during her Ohio concert over the weekend.
So what caused fans to think that Beyonce was having a dig at her husband? Well she changed a line in her song called Resentment from: “Been riding with you for six years,” to “Been riding with you for 12 years” – which is length of time she’s been with Jay Z (they started dating in 2002).
The song coincidentally is about a woman who is hurt after discovering that her partner has cheated on her and also includes lines: “I tried and I tried to forget this. But I’m too damn full of resentment. I know she was attractive but I was here first”.
The couple have been surrounded by cheating rumours ever since footage emerged of Solange attacking Jay-Z in a lift last May.
David Beckham has joined forces with H&M once again (to our delight) to reveal his new bodywear range. In true Beckham style he forgoes his shirt to showcase his impeccably toned body and of course the impressive new range of underwear.
