Amy Hart has shared her successful Love Island audition tape with her followers online, and it's…something.

The ex-air hostess surprised her fans by showing the reel which secured her spot on the ITV2 dating show on YouTube last night, which led to her coupling up with Curtis Pritchard before quitting the show.

The video shows Amy refer to herself as "the lovechild of Elton John and Gemma Collins", also describing herself as a third wheel and "the world's worst drunk texter" who is "too extra for my own good".

"I know I've got the hair, the teeth, the nails, the boobs but I'm not your run-of-the-mill Barbie girl," she added. "There's only one Ames."

The 26-year-old also mentions that all of her friends have "found their Mr Right and have their fairytale endings, and I think it's my time". She also describes her five years of pageant life.

Unfortunately, the show didn't lead to a fairytale ending for Amy, but she walked out with her head held high and earned thousands of fans for the value she had for her mental health.

Amy recently hit back at trolls who criticised her appearance online with an emotional Instagram message describing how upset her friends and family have been after reading vile comments.

She captioned the lengthy post; "To everyone who has taken time out of their day to point out my flaws – thank you. I know you probably think that the comments you make about my appearance don’t get read, well they do – and they hurt. Not just me, but my friends and family, too.

"I know it’s probably difficult to see me as a person when all you know about me is what you’ve seen on TV, online and when I pop up on your social media feed."

"To you, I’m probably just a picture or a video… but the reality is I’m just an ordinary girl from Worthing whose dreams are coming true," the reality star added.

"The vast majority of comments I receive are absolutely lovely – and I read them too…so thank you! I guess what I want to say is… just have a bit consideration when you’re leaving comments on people's posts – whether they have 1 follower or 1 million followers."

The star is taking action by heading into schools to speak about the impacts of trolling and online bullying, using her platform for good.

"To everyone who has taken time out of their day to point out my flaws – thank you," she said. "I have a mirror, I know what I look like – and I'm happy with it. But, like everyone, I have my insecurities."

YAS gal. Say what you want about Amy, but she stays true to herself 24 hours a day.

Amy Hart has officially quit Love Island and has left the villa this evening.

The air hostess was reportedly heartbroken after her break-up with Curtis Pritchard, following his head being turned in Casa Amor.

After returning from the other villa, Amy had to discover in front of everyone that her 'half' boyfriend was intending to couple up with another girl (Jourdan) but was rejected.

Amy wanted to give Curtis another chance to redeem himself, but the professional dancer ended things for good, saying he couldn't promise that his head wouldn't be turned once again.

The couple split up, and now Longford lass Maura has expressed her feelings for him, much to his surprise.

Amy was removed from the villa last week to seek psychiatric help from specialists, so perhaps the best thing for her to do is return to her family and friends for support.

She already expressed to Anna and Amber that she was struggling to cope with seeing Curtis act fine about their split, and couldn't stop herself from talking to him.

The 26-year-old has never had a boyfriend before, so this experience must have been extremely difficult to handle, especially on live television.

We truly hope the show gives her the adequate aftercare following this experience.

No matter how much someone claims to love what they do for a living, we ALL have those days when we wonder if the grass is truly greener on the other side.

Whether it's a disagreement with a colleague, a difficult customer or just one of those days when you'd rather be anywhere but your desk, it's easy to assume that all your problems will be magically solved the moment you hand in your notice.

For the most part, we move on from these mini mental break-downs and get on with our jobs, so what are the reasons people leave their jobs for good?

Lack of opportunity to advance

At the end of the day, everyone wants to make to the top of their chosen career. The idea that we must start at the bottom and work our way up is widely accepted and, for the most part, totally fair – but what do we when all our hard work doesn't actually pay off?

A study conducted by LinkedIn showed that career advancement is the number one reason people seek employment elsewhere, with 45 per cent of those surveyed admitting it was a concern they held.

Poor communication

Research shows that employees who engage in regular meetings with management are far more enthusiastic about their jobs – which, to be honest, makes a lot of sense.

No one likes to left in the dark when it comes to their workload and an open line of communication makes for easier conflict resolution.

No work/ life balance

Remember, you work to live, you don't live to work.

Sure, if you're lucky enough to land your dream position there will be times when you're happy to take on some extra responsibilities, but we must never underestimate the importance of our personal time.

Whether it's a massive work load or unsociable hours, an uneven work/life balance is one of biggest contributors to job dissatisfaction.

Feeling under appreciated

It can be extremely frustrating when you feel like your achievements are not being recognised, and even more frustrating when only your mistakes are highlighted.

If an an employee feels underappreciate they are more likely to seek recognition elsewhere.

Low salary/ wage

This one is a bit of a no-brainer, but according to research conducted by EY, "stagnant wages" were cited as one of the top reasons full-time workers quit their jobs.

As much as we'd all like to think we'd like to think that the number in our bank accounts doesn't dictate the kind of life we'll lead, the fact of the matter is that we've got rent to pay and mouths to feed.

When it comes to the highly acclaimed in Hollywood, there are few who haven't spoken of the struggles they endured in their journey to stardom.

Form triple-jobbing in order to pay for acting classes to persisting against constant rejection, there aren't many Hollywood A-listers whose story doesn't include countless obstacles and upheavals.

And Oscar-winner, Brie Larson, is no different.

Speaking to Hot Press, the 27-year-old actress, whose role in Room won the acclaim of critics and cinema-goers alike, admitted that she came close to quitting countless times, and on some occasions actually turned her back on acting.

"I threw in the towel a lot. A lot! I couldn’t take the ‘no’s over and over," she revealed while reflecting on her career thus far.

"I was acting since I was seven years old and a reoccurring problem I used to have was never fitting the mould of what they were after," she admitted.

Like many actresses, the California-native found herself on the receiving end of continuous criticism from those within the industry, saying: "I was never fully right, I was never that desired package."

"I wasn’t pretty enough, I wasn’t plain enough, and I found myself so many times, getting so close and hitting that wall."

The actress explains that her career was littered with moments which forced her to reconsider her path – obstacles which were soon overcome by the emergence of a project or role she could get her teeth into.

"I didn’t have anything to my name. And that happened a few times where I would find myself down to the last dollar, backed up against a wall, ready to quit and the next day, something would come up and I would be saved. This wasn’t even that long ago."

In addition to her Academy Award, Brie has also received a Screen Actor's Guild Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe.

It's looking like the entire cast of TOWIE is walking out the door.

And the latest to bid farewell to the series is Carol Wright.

The Daily Star has claimed that the 57-year-old has decided to follow in the footsteps of her children and best friend, Debbie Bright, who left the show earlier this year.

A post shared by Carol Wright (@carolwright1) on

A source told the publication: “Carol lost her mum a few years back, her kids Mark and Jess have both left the show and now her best pal has followed them out of the door.

“Carol isn’t ruling out making the odd cameo if called upon but with Debbie leaving she’s doesn’t feel like she has a place on the show any more.”

The Wright family have been regulars on the show since its beginning, and many are speculating that the series will have to alter its "mechanics" since the last of them has turned her back on the programme.

Will you miss Carol being on TOWIE?

In a surprising move, Ruth O'Neill has quit Xpose, in order to pursue opportunities abroad.

The TV3 star just celebrated ten years of the TV show last week, but has decided to move onto greener pastures.

Speaking to Independent.ie, Ruth said that it took her months to make the decision, but feels like it's the right time for her to leave.

"Work has been brilliant, it's ticked all the boxes but at the end of the day I just really want to try something new. I've developed so many new skills working at Xpose.

A post shared by Ruth O' Neill (@ruthoneill) on

"I've had such incredible opportunities. I've really been so lucky and I'm not leaving with any regrets. But I just feel that I need to try something new," she explained.

When speaking about her decision, Ruth revealed that settling back into the Irish life was difficult for her, as most of her friends live abroad.

"I've just found it so hard to settle at home. I think anyone who's lived abroad, whether it's Australia or the UK, will understand that it can be tough to adjust to life at home when you've been away for so long.

"All my friends live away and it's been difficult to meet new friends.

"We keep in touch on WhatsApp but it's not the same. It can be really lonely at times. I thought it would be grand but it wasn't as easy as I thought," she said.

"People keep saying 'you have the dream job' and working with Xpose is something I've always wanted to do but I know that it's time for me to leave. I don't want to get too comfortable. I need a new challenge.

"My idea of success keeps changing but my main priority is to be happy," she said.

As as for what she'll do next, Ruth said that she hasn't made any concrete plans yet, but is positive about her future.

"We'll see what comes my way. My boyfriend lives in London and I'd be keen to try something there but I'm not ruling anything out.

"I'm in the last year of my twenties and I'm just thinking 'why not!', if I leave it any longer I might be too scared to move," she added.

Gary Beadle has completely confused his fans today by telling them "it's time to hang my boots up" in his latest Daily Star column.

At the beginning of his piece for the site, he wrote: "Two things to tell you before we get stuck into the week's column.

"Firstly, I want to use this opportunity to exclusively announce something I have given an awful lot of thought to.

"I am sad to have to announce my retirement. I have mulled it over and love you all, but it is time to hang my boots up." he said.

“I have had a lot of laughs, gone in on some people and learnt to spread the love, rather than hate. I have grown up a lot. It has been a journey. It has been immense. But it is over.

“Laying in my hospital bed with my fractured knee, I decided it is time to tell you that it is the end and I am going to bow out gracefully.

“What am I talking about? My Daily Star Online column, of course. What did you think? Plenty of life and pranks in me yet. Lolz. Had you wondering then, didn’t I?”

Well, that was a total let down…

As fans come to terms with Will Young’s shock Strictly departure, reports are emerging which suggest that the singer may have grown “fed up” of his dance partner, Karen Clifton.

According to The Mirror, the Leave Right Now performer was struggling to deal with the workload placed on him by the dancer in the run-up to him quitting the show for “personal reasons”.

A source told the paper that the 37-year-old did not like being consistently scrutinised and as a result had “squabbled” with Karen last week during rehearsals for the show.

“Karen was just doing her job, she was training him hard but in the end he just didn’t want to keep getting told off and corrected all the time,” they said.

“It infuriated him. They squabbled a few times during rehearsals and it left him feeling exhausted. He just found the whole process too taxing and didn't think it was worth such a huge effort.”

However, the source’s claims run contrary to a statement released by the star himself on Tuesday.

When announcing he would be leaving the hit series, Will said: “I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience.”

“I will be eternally grateful to her for her direction, talent and guiding me through three wonderful dances that I will be able to show my grandkids in years to come.”

Will Young has unexpectedly quit this year’s Strictly Come Dancing for “personal reasons”.

This evening, the Leave Right Now singer said in a statement: “To be a part of Strictly has been a long time ambition of mine.  As a performer, a viewer, and a fan of the show, to dance as a contestant was an experience I always hoped for.”

“I have made some great friends, and am in awe of their performances week in, week out.”

“I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience,” he continued.

“I will be eternally grateful to her for her direction, talent and guiding me through three wonderful dances that I will be able to show my grandkids in years to come.”

“Unfortunately, I am leaving the show for personal reasons.  I leave with joy in my heart that I have been able to take part in one of the most loved shows on British television.”

While fans of the show have been quick to speculate that the 37-year-old’s shock departure could be linked to criticism he received from Strictly judge Len Goodman on Saturday night, sources say the row had nothing to do with his decision to leave.

We'll be honest, we didn't think THIS would be the reason she quit the show that made her famous, but now Lauren Goodger has revealed that she exited TOWIE because of the men… they weren't good looking enough.

The reality star quit the show after season six and is soon returning for the 19th series.

But when asked why she said so long to it all those years ago, she told Closer: "There's little chance of romance, there are no fit guys on TOWIE. Attractive men don't go on it."

OUCH.

But this time round, she isn't doing it for the lads; she's doing it to spend some time with the girls.

"Megan and I are going to meet up so we can have a gossip.
