While Love Island's Amber Gill may not seem to have any luck on the reality show when it comes to finding a proper gentleman (bye, Greg), it seems as though she's already moving on.

The Geordie beautician may have been left shocked by Greg O'Shea's brutal text where he called time on their romance just five weeks after winning the ITV2 show, she seems to be getting back on the horse.

The stunning winner appeared at last night's TV Choice Awards and by the end of the night was spotted looking cosy with I'm A Celebrity star Malique Thompson-Dwyer at the after-party.

The beautician seemed to be getting along well with Malique, cuddling on the sofa while she sported a one-shouldered multi-coloured metallic dress with a thigh-high slash.

An eyewitness told Mirror Online: "Amber and Malique were clearly flirting with each other – there was loads of eye contact between them.

"They looked like a great match and even got out their phones as if they were swapping numbers. At one point they seemed to be close to kissing, before Jamie Lomas interrupted and started talking to his co-star. Amber looked annoyed when another girl came over and took Malique's attention off her."

The former beauty therapist had appeared on Loose Women to discuss the breakdown of her romance with Irish hunk Greg that same day, so it must have been a rough time for her.

"So from my point of view I still wanted to make it work. There was a call a few days prior just chatting, not specifically to do with that.

"I think there was a bit of miscommunication but I think if you don't want to be with someone, you don't want to be with someone," she added.

"Basically all I wanted was a bit of effort from him to come to London or Newcastle to see me. I said I'm going to have to give up if you don't put the effort in. He said 'okay bye'. I was expecting it to be a bit different."

Amber made sure to compliment Greg (he doesn't deserve it..): "He's a lovely guy but I'm not sure what’s going to happen in the future really. It's a bit of an odd situation," the 22-year-old said.

"The Islanders in from the beginning were naive to people going in later on and what people's perceptions were and what were being said. I didn't really think of that at the time."

Amber Gill has confirmed that Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea dumped her by text, and didn't make an effort in their relationship.

Limerick native Greg claimed that they broke up via phone call on The Late Late Show on Friday night, but 22-year-old Geordie beautician Amber has set the record straight.

The pair won Love Island together only five weeks ago after the Irishman coupled up with her, having only been in the villa for 12 days. They split the prize money between them, but Amber should have stolen it…

Speaking for the first time since the split on today's Loose Women, Amber revealed she was "really disappointed" by the sudden end to their relationship.

Explaining what happened, Amber said: "So from my point of view I still wanted to make it work. There was a call a few days prior just chatting, not specifically to do with that.

"I think there was a bit of miscommunication but I think if you don’t want to be with someone, you don’t want to be with someone," the Newcastle native continued,

Greg then responded in a way that would make any woman's blood boil; "And he said 'okay bye'. I was expecting it to be a bit different."

Greg had claimed that he still has feelings for Amber and has not ruled out a reunion in the future, but Amber admitted that she never expected Islanders going in late to have secret motivations.

"He’s a lovely guy but I’m not sure what’s going to happen in the future really. It’s a bit of an odd situation.

"The Islanders in from the beginning were naive to people going in later on and what people's perceptions were and what were being said. I didn’t really think of that at the time."

As her second time as a Loose Women panelist, Amber spoke very honestly about the split.

"Obviously I’m really disappointed. I wasn't expecting it at all. I was due to fly to Dublin and spend the weekend with him and go on a TV show together.

"On that day I had to cancel as it wasn’t working out. I think the careers and the distance was always a factor. I don’t know what changed. I wanted to make it work but it is what it is."

Our queen isn't letting it get her down, however; "I am disappointed it's over. I’m booked and busy and I'll be fine. Onwards and upwards from here."

Greg appeared on The Late Late Show solo with Maura Higgins after Amber cancelled due to their split. He claimed that they'd tried to make it work but the distance and busy schedules were too much.

"Me and Amber have been chatting the last few days and the whole thing about breaking up over text isn't true.  But we need to be realistic about the situation, and the fact she's in the UK," he added.

"We're both so busy and we need to take these opportunities and protecting our careers.  She has every brand wanting to work with her, and I'm trying to make the team for the Olympics"

Love Island 2019 winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea have reportedly broken up after only five weeks, and we're already campaigning for Amber's justice.

22-year-old Geordie beautician Amber was supposed to fly to Ireland tonight to see the rugby player, but The Sun is reporting that 24-year-old Greg has split with Amber over busy schedules.

Now, bear in mind that anything The Sun says must be taken with a pinch of salt, but a 'source' told the publication;

"Amber feels used by Greg. He was always aware of the distance and his career in their relationship, and yet he chose to seek out Amber in the villa knowing there would always be the distance."

"He hasn’t made any effort to come to London to see Amber, despite it being over five weeks, it’s always Amber who had to make the effort."

Amber was apparently 'devastated' by the cruel-hearted dumping, although she 'had a feeling' that things were gradually coming to an end. BY TEXT THOUGH? Greg, we thought you were different.

The Newcastle beauty wrote on Instagram just two days ago; "My babes. Squinty squinterson. Miss ya" alongside a photo of Greg, although Greg last posted an Instagram picture of her on August 18.

The couple were scheduled to appear on The Late Late Show tonight with fellow islander Maura Higgins.

The pair were the shock winners of the fifth series of Love Island after being coupled up for only 12 days, deciding to share the £50,000 prize.

Soon-to-be-solicitor Greg was a late arrival and charmed Amber after she was pied by Michael Griffiths, who chose to recouple with Joanna Chimonides in the Casa Amor twist.

The winners haven’t been seen much together due to the distance between Limerick and Newcastle.

Amber had visited Ireland only two weeks ago, with the couple going sightseeing at the Cliffs of Moher.

If the split is real, then Amber and Greg have the honour of being the fastest-winning couple to break up. We'll most likely discover the real story tonight, if they appear together on Ryan Tubridy's couch.

Great job, Greg. You've lost plenty of fans for losing Amber, she's an absolute gem. Ovie, any help?

Love Island star Michael Griffiths has signed up for the Ex On The Beach celebrity special in America after failing to find love on the ITV2 reality show, The Sun reports.

The ex-firefighter ended up becoming the villa villain after dumping Amber Gill for Joanna Chimonides, only to stay in the villa without her when she was kicked out.

Joanna branded him 'a snake' but the pair have been spotted kissing after the show ended. They're maintaining that they're both single, however. Who knows what to believe?

The 28-year-old has signed up to the MTV reality show to change his fortunes, according to The Sun online source, who said;

"Michael was one of the stand-out stars on this year's Love Island thanks to his love triangle with Amber and Joanna.

"He's had a lot of female attention since leaving the villa but hasn't found that special someone, so he's hoping this show will help fix that."

Which one of his exes will appear on the show, though? We highly doubt it'll be 22-year-old Geordie Amber Gill, who is currently seeing her Love Island partner Greg O'Shea.

Michael will join a number of other former Love Island-ers on the new series, including Georgia Steel and Niall Aslam.

21-year-old Georgia and 26-year-old reality star Lateysha Grace are set to bring plenty of excitement (and drama) to the show, but Michael has the major villain label when it comes to dating.

We've all noticed how Love Island has produced some pretty unrealistic body standards, but most of the time our focus is on the women.

Each woman on the show is noticeably slim, and young girls have low self-esteem issues as it is without seeing the exact same physique on every TV channel.

What the focus hasn't always been on is the problem with muscular men and the lack of 'dad bods' in sight. The reality show is now being blamed for giving young boys body image issues too.

Stereotypically 'perfect' bodies on the show has led many to feel that only this type of body will be able to find love, or even lust. It's a hugely damaging notion that's being perpetuated/

According to analysts from the Children’s Society, boys are catching up with girls in the numbers of them suffering from low confidence and self-esteem.

Its annual 'Good Childhood' report revealed that over 200,000 children in the UK alone are unhappy with their lives as a whole, with looks playing a large role in their moods.

Shockingly, one-in-12 boys aged 10 to 15 are unhappy with their appearance.

Richard Crellin, policy and research manager in mental health and wellbeing at the Children’s Society, told The Times:

"They talked a lot about the pressure to go the gym and have a great body. They talked about the men they see on social media and Love Island … about how people are always working out on that show."

One teen in the report said he felt pressure to live up to the built men he watched on TV "You see all these models, you see all these weightlifters, body-builders, and you look at yourself and you're like, 'I look like a stick.'

"I feel like we’re exposed to a lot more so we are less secure about our appearance."

Love Island bosses vetoed having plus-sized Islanders, causing frustration among fans and body activists alike.

Speaking to The Sun, the show's boss Richard Cowles said: “We try and be as representative and diverse as possible but first and foremost it’s an entertainment show.

"It’s about people wanting to watch and them reacting and falling in love with another. Yes, we want to be as representative as possible but we also want them to be attracted to one another."

This basically implies that plus-sized people won't attract any other contestants, so that comment didn't exactly go down well…

Love Island's Yewande Biala has opened up about what life is like when you're black and in the media.

The 23-year-old Irish scientist says being black means "you have to be 10 times better than everyone else", she told 1Xtra Talks.

Yewande was one of the 2019 cast originals, but left the show after Danny chose Arabella over her in a brutal dumping.

She says: "When I got into this I realised being black is hard, but being black and in the media is harder.

"You have to stand out and you have to do more and it can get quite frustrating," she adds.

"You feel like you're not doing enough, but just keep pushing to keep doing what you're doing and someone will see how amazing you are."

The reality star also claims that finding love in the villa was harder because of the colour of her skin.

Yewande's best friends were candidates Amber Gill, who is mixed race and Anna Vakili, who's Iranian, and she says "we all struggled".

"We didn't find anyone who liked us. It was always someone coming in and saying 'my type is blonde and petite'. We'd just look at each other and say 'they're obviously not here for us'."

Yewande also spoke about the pressure of social media outside of the villa, and how she copes with it.

She says "the majority of people were super supportive" in public platform comments, but that she did receive some hurtful direct messages.

"When I came back from Mallorca I got such a tan. I was so dark but I loved it.

"And people would come to me like, 'Oh you're too dark, like why are you so dark? Why are you so black, you're too skinny'. It was just stupid."

Yewande was also quizzed on her feelings about Danny Williams and Arabella Chi.

Model Arabella Chi is now dating Wes Nelson from the 2018 series, while Danny is dating Jourdan Riane after falling for her during the Casa Amor segment only days after Arabella was dumped.

The scientist says numerous articles appeared online about her which portrayed a tired stereotype used against black women following her dumping.

"I tried not to read any articles about myself because I didn't want to get upset. I think they were trying to label me as the angry black woman, which was kind of insane.

"Not once in the villa did I ever raise my voice or feel like I acted in that way, even considering the circumstances I was in."

The fifth series of Love Island may have ended, but life is only just beginning for the contestants on the outside.

The Islanders have returned to reality and are gathering that coin with sponsorships, TV shows and public appearances in clubs.

This years' group are charging quite the high amount to grace an event with their presence, and we're a bit shook.

According to The Sun, Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury . are the top earners, charging 10,000 pounds each to attend an event.

The publication contacted the agents of 2019's contestants to enquire about an appearance at a 21st birthday party, and boxer Tommy was able to charge a whopping £10k for a two-hour appearance.

The runner up of the show has people to see and things to do, and time is money after all. According to The Sun, professional dancer Curtis charges the same, but also requests a driver and a hotel.

Villa villain Michael Griffiths, who didn't even make the final, charges £2,500 per hour to show up.

Maybe because of the mystery surrounding him, but that seems like ridiculous money to us. Yewande Biala also charges £5,000, while winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea have yet to share an appearance fee.

The pair have the £50,000 cash prize, so they're not exactly begging for money. The cast need to make cash before their celebrity status shrinks, though.

Well, karma's a b*tch and it seems she's following around Michael Griffiths for the foreseeable future.

The firefighter turned reality star tried to play it cool after his car got clamped in Manchester yesterday, but he couldn't help smirking as he walked away from his white Mercedes.

The flashy car was spotted with a yellow clamp on its front left wheel and a pricey fine on the windscreen, totally immobilised. We promise we're not laughing.

Cars are normally clamped for illegal parking, or if they're untaxed and on a public road. The Love Island star will have to pay a steep fine to get his motor back, or will have the car towed.

Michael did his best to walk away nonchalantly from the scene, but didn't succeed. The 27-year-old was caught in a whirlwind love triangle on the show, with Amber Gill and Joanna Chimonides.

Amber went on to win the show with Irish charmer Greg O'Shea, after Michael tried and failed to win her back. What a moment that was for the chaldish man.

Queen of the Love Island villa Amber Gill has reacted to Michael Griffiths crawling back to Joanna Chimonides after he was dumped from the house.

She believes that she deserved to win with Greg O'Shea because of the horrendous journey Michael sent her on, after the firefighter's head was turned while she was at Casa Amor.

Michael and Amber coupled up early on but were torn apart after he broke her heart by cheating with Joanna Chimonides.

Michael and Joanna have been spotted together on the outside kissing at a festival, despite having a fight when Michael didn't walk away from the villa with her when she was dumped.

In the explosive row, Joanna branded Michael a 'snake' and said 'if you've found what you want then you'd better f*cking leave, mate." Yikes. Despite this, they seem to be back together.

Amber has since branded their reconciliation 'weird.', saying; "Am I surprised by that? To be fair I didn’t see much of their relationship. I don’t really know how they were."

The Geordie lass added; "Michael definitely tried to come back to me so I think it’s a bit weird. I don’t really want to say too much," said Amber.

The 21-year-old said she doesn't believe she would have won the public vote in Monday's live final if she had gone back to Michael.

"If I'd gone for Michael it would have been she’s gone back to the guy who didn’t treat her well," explained Amber. "Me and Greg were a good match and he came in when I needed a gent and I feel like that's why it went for us," she added.

Joanna and Michael set the rumour mill alight when they were spotted looking cosy at a Kisstory even in London on Saturday.

Joanna had vowed that she'd never go back there, but this appears to have been straight up nonsense…She's since denied any romance between them.

She hit out on social media: "I just want to make a point, we weren't kissing. He was saying something in my ear and I found it funny. I can't remember what it was," she told her followers.

"Is her ear located in her mouth?" tweeted one online user. Michael's reaction to Greg and Amber's win was to say; "Oh s***, oh s***, I did not expect that," he said. "Ratings."

He also implied that Amber would have stolen the 50,000 pounds rather than split it, which is another loads of bullsh*t from a bitter man.

An ex Love Island contestant has accused the show's bosses of "fixing" the series to Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague would beat Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

The Geordie beauty technician and Irish rugby player were crowned King and Queen of the villa, taking home the £50,000 cash prize last night.

The friend of Dani Dyer went on to reveal that the editing process can make a massive difference, and that the bosses have an agenda with what they allow viewers to see.

Now, we have to admit; This isn't surprising content.

Love Island star Joanna Chimonides has denied claims that she kissed Michael Griffiths at a festival last night, after they were pictured getting pretty damn close.

Footage emerged of the 22-year-old and the 27-year-old firefighter sharing a passionate kiss at Kisstory together with other reality TV stars.

In a set of videos posted to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Joanna said of the images;

"It’s of me and Michael so-called kissing. I just want to make a point, we weren’t kissing." Well, the photos kind of disprove her claims…

The fan reaction has been mostly hilarious, as audiences predicted Joanna taking Michael back after he crawled back to Amber Gill on the show.

"There are pictures of me and Michael so-called kissing. He was saying something in my ear, I found it funny. Can’t remember what it was. I think one thing with me and you’ll get to know this the more you get to know me, is I don’t hold onto hate and negativity."

She continued: "For me, it’s been a lot easier for my journey and me getting over the Michael situation, is me letting go of whatever happened and letting go of hate.

"That’s just how I am and what I do and in the end, I’m happier and I feel so good everyday and that’s purely because I’m letting go of the negativity and anything that was upsetting me at the time."

Joanna also insisted that she and Michael are just friends after he chose to remain in the Love Island villa rather than leave with her when she was eliminated two weeks ago.

She continued: "It’s okay to be friends with someone you were with, it is okay for that. I’m friends with my exes and it is OK.

"For me and Michael, it was such a laugh being together. It was really nice and everyone had such a laugh. If I didn’t let go of that negativity I wouldn’t have had a good time yesterday and I wouldn’t be making memories with that Love Island lot."

While some of the fans are giving Joanna far too much heat, saying she has no self-respect for taking him back, others are simply laughing at her;

"Joanna you absolute mug," one Twitter user said. Another called her a 'dummy' and a 'clown' for taking back the villa villain.

Another fan rightfully pointed out that Joanna is now receiving all the hate that Amber would have gotten had she taken her ex back, who humiliated her by choosing Joanna after Casa Amor.

Joanna was adamant on Instagram that seeing Michael attempt to win Amber back after he remained in the villa without Joanna was "hard to watch".

We all thought she'd rip him to shreds on Love Island: Aftersun with Caroline Flack, but they seemed to be getting on suspiciously swimmingly;

Joanna previously stated that there was zero chance that she'd take Michael back, but apparently that was nonsense.

"Did you hear me mention a specific person," Michael told Amber when she quizzed him on saying "I've found what I've been looking for".

Of course, he ACTUALLY said "I found what I've been looking for and now she's leaving," meaning Joanna. What a player.

Michael became a national enemy after breaking Amber Gill's heart on live television, leaving her standing alone and loyal after his head was turned in Casa Amor.

His antics were the subject of countless memes (which we pored over for hours). It seems the pair are dating once again, but will his head be turned by someone else?

We reckon so. Once a chaldish man, always a chaldish man.
