Let's get our facts straight about cannabidiol, first of all. The cannabusiness is positively booming, thanks to the high street fanfare over hemp-based beauty products.

What exactly is CBD? Cannabidiol is a purified, non-psychoacative compound harvest from the cannabis plant, and NO it can't get you high. It can, however, give those who suffer from psoriasis, eczema and acne another choice for solving their skin problems.

CBD collaborates with your body, according to Roby Zomer, CEO of MGC Derma. She spoke to Elle, saying that cannabidiol works with your body's internal endocannabinoid system to give relief from inflammation.

Beauty brands are now creating products which don't embody the stereotypes surrounding cannabis, and are treating CBD like any other beauty product.

Celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Jennifer Aniston swear by CBD oil, and it's fast become part of a global new trend striving to promote wellness.

Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow told Into The Gloss;

"If I have a particularly stressful time, someone gave me some CBD oil in a little drop. It doesn't make you stoned or anything, just a little relaxed,

Holland & Barratt CBD day cream (50ml)
Price: €17.99, for over 18s only

CBD skincare is essentially just skincare infused with short cannabidiol, which is the LEGAL, non-psychotropic component of marijuana known for relieving aches and pains.

From offering you a chilled-out feeling to reducing inflammation, we see why the hype has been curated. It doesn't contain tetrahydrocannabinol, found in weed, which is why it can't give you a high.

CBD and THC are sourced from two different parts of the marijuana plant, so it's perfectly legal and safe to use CBD skincare.

Why the fuss? Well, CBD-infused skincare is believed to have the ability to aid acne issues and skin sensitivity due to it's anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.

It's also thought to act as an anti-ageing product due to it's antioxidant features. The Holland & Barratt moisturiser (day cream) has been getting absolutely RAVE reviews, and we had to suss it out.

The CBD day cream is carefully formulated to give you the best hemp seed oils for your skin. The 100 percent natural product is antioxidant rich and is suitable for all skin types, vegetarians and vegans.

Both the CBD and Hemp oils work together to help regulate the skin's oil production, which gives you the right balance for your skin type.

It's believed to slow down the ageing process, reducing free-radicals and allowing your skin to appear firm and healthy. It's intensive moisturisation has created a fan frenzy around it.

Use the moisturiser every day after cleansing, and it's best used in combination with the Holland and Barrett CBD Serum and CBD Night Cream.

Test out the day cream and see if you agree with the fantastic reviews, it may just become your must-have beauty item. You'll be a cannaboss in no time.

Gwyneth Paltrow is in hot water after a 2016 skiing accident left a retired optometrist with a concussion and broken ribs. She is now being sued for reckless skiing by 72-year-old Terry Sanderson.

The Utah man has also accused Paltrow of fleeing the scene after crashing into his back, screaming as she did it. Local Utah news station KUTV, Sanderson is also claiming Paltrow was "out of control".

A lawsuit has now been filed against the Hollywood actress; according to court documents, Sanderson said, "Paltrow got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured." Yikes.

The skiing instructor who allegedly witnessed the incident has blamed Sanderson for causing the accident, but Sanderson is insisting that the instructor is lying and refrained from helping him while injured.

The man apparently suffered a brain injury and four broken ribs, and said Paltrow "accepted no responsibility" and abandoned the Deer Valley Resort.

Sanderson recalled "feeling very sore, and my brain felt like I'd been injected with novocaine, I don't know how to describe it,” he said at a recent press conference.

He has decided to sue Paltrow for $3.1 million. In a statement, Paltrow denied the claims through spokeswoman Heather Wilson; "This lawsuit is without merit and we expect to be vindicated."

The lawsuit maintains that the instructor skiing with Paltrow and her family filed a false incident report saying Paltrow didn't cause the accident.

Deer Valley Resort spokeswoman Emily Summers stated that the resort, which is also being sued, can not comment on pending legal matters.

The website's first 'sex Issue' was published in May 2016, which included a kinky toy buying guide, and advise on sexual preferences.

She has now put together the dirty weekend away kit, with a massive spending allotment, but it's the thought that counts, right?

The Balmyard Beauty Romantic Call Body Oil boasts antioxidant coconut, shea, sweet almond, and hibiscus-seed oils is on the list, and works hard to leave your skin soft and glowy.

It's a shame it's priced at $82…

Imagine being able to afford a SOLID GOLD dildo worth $3500. Just imagine.

She includes the Betony Vernon Marabou Pleasure Puff Ring, with intricate marabou feathers, on her list. The item is worth a jaw-dropping $673.

The Maude Rise Condoms are 100% natural latex, and is the most affordable item in the kit, costing just $12. A bargain…

The vegan Unbound Jelly lubricant is made from 95% organic ingredients and is also vanilla-scented for good measure.

Last but by all means not least, the Lelo Olga sex toy is comprised of 24-carat gold and warms to your body temperature internally.

Gwyneth is extremely open about her sex life, and recently discussed the importance of sexual health while speaking to Glamour

The actress wed her second husband in a beautiful ceremony back in September commented on emphasising women's sexual lives through Goop.

We don't doubt that her and Brad are enjoying married life, if her sex kit is anything to go by. We commend her great attitude to banishing shame from sex. All women deserve great sexual health.

The website says the sundries are a must-have for a 'Romantic (and Sexy) Weekend', stating; “These five clean, nontoxic essentials are virtually guaranteed to ignite and/or reenergise sexual vibes.” Spicy, Gwyneth, very spicy.

Paltrow has attributed her newfound glow and warmth to her new beau.

Ashley Graham recently revealed a surprising detail about her and her husband’s relationship.

Appearing on Gwyenth Paltrow’s podcast Goop, the model said she waited to have sex with her hubby until after they were married.

Her strong decision came after a terrible relationship in her 20s that was “mentally, physically, and emotionally abusive.”

“I hid our relationship for a year, so it was two years of agony, but I had myself in it because I didn't know my worth," Ashley explained.

"I knew that I was a stronger woman for breaking up with him, and in feeling stronger for breaking up with him I was like, 'What is it that I need to do to change myself so I don't get back into that situation?'" she continued in the podcast.

Unfortunately, many women experience horrible relationships on their way to finding the right guy or gal. And when we’re young, it is so easy to be swayed by a partner's promises and hold every word they say as truth.

But thankfully, Ashley was able to find her strength and end her toxic relationship, and she went on to reveal what she thought was behind these failed relationships.

"In that 'aha' moment, I was like, my problem is I keep giving it up too soon, I keep having sex too soon with these guys.

“I grew up very Christian, and in that I realised I'm giving up my power to each of these guys and I'm letting them control me, not constantly control me in every action, but they have a certain control over me," she told Gwyenth.

Ashley realised, that for her, sex was a power thing and the guys she dated took advantage of that.

So, when she met her husband Justin, she stuck to this mindset and he didn’t seem to have a problem at all with her no-sex rule.

“And he and I did not break my rule, and his rule as well, because I didn't know that he was also trying to wait until he was married to have sex as well."

Her love story moved Gwyenth to tears as she opened up about past hurts and present happiness.

Wow, power to you, Ashley! That takes some strength and major willpower!

The 46-year-old actress and her beau tied the knot at her Hamptons home on September 29, and the pictures intimately and elegantly display the best day of their lives.

Paltrow posted 47 photos from her wedding weekend to her lifestyle website, Goop, on Friday, writing:

"Took me a minute to get it together, but at long last, for those who have requested, a little look inside the best day of our lives," she also teased on Instagram, sharing a photo from after she said "I do."

One of the most striking images is of course, her wedding gown, designed by Valentino Couture. We are absolutely floored by how beautiful Gwyneth looks, as well as her daughter in Monique Lhuillier.

The bride wore a custom Valentino Couture lace dress with feminine cap sleeves, an illusion neckline and open-back. Paltrow has often trusted Valentino with her red-carpet looks.

The timeless design  was paired with a long tulle veil, Paltrow also kept her bridal beauty look natural with relatively soft makeup.

Famous faces are never too far away from the camera: Jerry Seinfeld, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Robert Downey Jr. and Steven Spielberg are all featured in the imagery.

Long-term friend Cameron Diaz is seen getting her make-up done, and Downey Jr. also gave a gushing speech in honour of his Iron Man co-star.

Heartwarming snaps of Paltrow's daughter Apple, 14 and son and Moses, 12 were posted to the website as well as photos of Falchuck's two adorable children Brody and Isabella.

The ceremony was described in vivid detail on Goop:

"The revelry started the night before with a rehearsal dinner, where wedding guests dined alfresco under a canopy of bistro lights," Goop posted about the wedding festivities.

"And for the big day: perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages, and a dress that defies adjectives. Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flute was cleared away, the day ended as it began — with beauty, love, and very happy people."

The couple's first date was held at one of Mario Carbone’s restaurants, and the chef was asked to cook for their wedding to achieve a very special, full-circle moment.

Following the "I Do's", Paltrow changed into a Stella McCartney jumpsuit for a night of '80s party jams. The envy is so real right now.

The couple are absolutely beaming as they celebrate their love surrounded by 70 of their closest friends and family.

After the big day, the Falchucks went on a mini honeymoon to Umbria Paris, following which Paltrow travelled to London for the grand opening of Goop’s first international store.

With a successful film career and lifestyle brand already under her belt, Gwyneth Paltrow has already set her sights on her next business venture.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Goop founder revealed plans to expand her wellness empire with the launch of a brand new TV series called The Radical Wellness Show.

The potential series would see Gwyneth explore a number of topics with leading healthcare professionals as well as members of the public.

“I would be going into the field and talking to any number of doctors, scientists, civilians, people in crisis in Flint, Michigan, where there is something to uncover and confront about wellness,” she explained.

“We would want it to feel more Vice-y in its vibe, but we’re just in the brainstorming phase.”

Having decided to take a break from acting, the mother-of-two now plans to focus on Goop full-time.

“I need to be here right now,”she said.

“I went to Atlanta to do Avengers 4, so I’m in and out for that, and it’s weird to go back and forth. We’re growing fast, and balls are dropping all the time.”

And while a hectic acting career could hinder the growth of her health and wellness empire, she was quick to pint out the perks that come along with being a celebrity entrepreneur.

"I don't know many young entrepreneurs who can call [Disney CEO] Bob Iger, [Facebook COO] Sheryl Sandberg or [Airbnb founder] Brian Chesky, and they are kind enough to waste a little bit of their day to help me," Paltrow said.

"So in that respect, my celebrity has been a huge asset."

Given that Gwyneth is know for her less-than-conventional wellness regime, we're dying to see what the new series has in store.

You know your beauty regime is a little out there when Gwyneth Paltow thinks it's weird.

Well, that's exactly what she thought when her good friend, Miranda Kerr revealed she loves leech facials.

The former Victoria's Secret model shared her love for the blood-sucking worms during GOOP's first ever wellness summit in Culver City, California.

Speaking on a panel, the 34-year-old said, “Have you tried leech therapy?”, only to be met by gasps of horror from the audience.

The skincare technique involves placing leeches on your face and letting them suck out some blood before spreading it around your skin, and honestly, we have never heard of anything less appealing.

“It’s adventurous,” she added.

No, Miranda, it's just bloody weird.

For hygiene reasons, the leeches cannot be used twice and it is common for them to be killed after being used.

However, not content with killing innocent leeches in the name of beauty, Miranda decided to keep hers as pets.

“I kept the leeches, they’re in my koi pond. You’re not allowed to reuse them and if you don’t take them home then she kills them and I didn’t like that idea.”

Well, at least they're going to a good home.

So, it's been almost 10 years since Gwyneth Paltrow launched her health and lifestyle website, Goop, and only now has she admitted that even she doesn't know what exactly the blog posts are about.

The actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show on Monday night and the host used the the opportunity to ask about the business Gwyneth now calls her “full-time job”.

Goop is known for its bizarre 'wellness' articles and it seems there was one particular subject that Jimmy just couldn't wrap his head around – Earthing.

It's the practice of walking barefoot in order to reconnect with the earth, apparently.

But as it turns out, not even Gwyneth can has am explanation for this one. In response to the host's curiosity, she said “So one of the things we like to do on Goop is find what the alternative world says about feeling good in the modern-day world. So, earthing—I don’t actually know that much about earthing, and it came out of me not knowing anything about earthing but hearing about it.''

Hmm, isn't this your “full-time job” Gwen?

She continued, “They say that we lost touch with sort of being barefoot in the earth, and there’s some sort of electromagnetic thing that we’re missing. It’s good to take your shoes off in the grass.”

Eventually she breaks, admitting “I don’t know what the f*ck we talk about!”

Not content with basically outing Gwyneth as a poor business manager, Jimmy then asked the star about one of the most unusual products for sale on the website – Jade eggs.

“So, the Jade Egg is an ancient Chinese practice where women insert the Jade Egg in their lady parts to help tone the pelvic floor,” Gwyneth says.

“It acts as a small weight, so I suppose it tones the pelvic floor, and there are women who are really good at practising this, and they say it’s good for balancing hormones and all kinds of amazing benefits.”

We'll take your word for it.

Gwyneth Paltrow often been the subject of some ridicule for her lifestyle website Goop.

It does, after all, feature everything from "advice" on vagina facials to a guide on how to yawn correctly.

The actress doesn't seem too bothered by the press though, and continues to share ever-more bizarre content, including her annual Christmas gift guide which came out yesterday.

Gwynnie's Ridiculous (And Awesome) Gifts guide supposedly features "a little ridiculous for every budget" rather than just "crazy extravagances," but we beg to differ.

Among the items on the 2015 list are…

Custom-made 18-carat gold dumbbells for €115,000
WHAT.

A Darwin Sect jellyfish tank  for €1400
"No clue where you buy jellyfish though," says the Goop team. Oh, okay then. So it's just an empty tank.

A selection of Joseph's Toiletries toilet paper for €900
"A 9 month supply (approx.) of everything you need to raise the bar on the definition of a well-groomed man or woman." We'll take Andrex, thanks.

Gilded playing cards for €2,100
"High stakes cards," indeed.

A toothpaste squeezer for €225
You could buy an endless supply of toothpaste for that price, surely?

And, if you're really stuck for cash…

A condom dispenser for €42
"Functional and straightforward, this 100% stainless steel dispenser safely stores this essential personal care item with characteristic German efficiency."

We'll take the lot.

Gwyneth Paltrow just really wants us to be living our best lives. She is already trying to make sure we’re yawning correctly, because that’s a serious issue you know. Now though, she’s tackles some other very interesting habits of ours.

She wants you to try peeing in the shower.

A recent post on her lifestyle website Goop, is revealing some of ‘The Secrets of the Pelvic Floor’. One of these secrets apparently, is that Gwyneth and Goop believe in your right to relieving yourself in the shower, as long as you adopt a deep squat position first.

In her step-by-step guide and instructions for how to use an exercise ball to lengthen an “uptight pelvic floor”, she reminds us that it is a very basic human movement that we appear to have forgotten in these high-tech fast-paced times we live in.

Goop informs us that squatting in the shower to pee is "a basic human movement that we’ve stopped doing regularly.”

The post then advises us on how to fix this travesty:

Getting in the habit of deep squatting (envision going to the bathroom in the woods) will actually help create proper alignment in the pelvis, raise pelvic awareness, and help lengthen an 'uptight' pelvic floor."

We’ve long been told that kegels are recommended to help those who deal with incontinence issues.

However it took the Goop newsletter with its passion for efficient showering habits to highlight the real benefits of adopting a deep squat before you- ahem, let it go.

Gwyneth Paltrow has long been the face of a lifestyle that is totally unattainable unless you happen to be a Hollywood star with a team of trainers, stylists and chefs.

The actress has been criticised in the past for her totally off-the-wall quotes, from recommending vagina steam facials on her site Goop, to stating in an interview that she "can’t pretend to be somebody who makes $25,000 a year."

Now Gwyneth has once again irritated the entire world by claiming that, contrary to what she had led us all to believe, she is in fact just like us.

"I'm incredibly close to the common woman in that I'm a woman and I'm a mother," the actress said in an interview with CNN Money. "We all are in a physical body with beating hearts, with compassion and love."

Further driving her point home, she said, "We are all seekers, we all want questions, we all want fulfilment, we want to live our best lives… We want to be healthy and happy and squeeze the most that we can out of life. I think that's all women."

Now, about those "$25,000 a year" comments, Gwyneth?!

Twitter of course exploded with annoyance at the actress' latest remarks:

It's also worth noting that Gwyneth's "common woman" line was said during an interview about her site Goop, which has been criticised many times for promoting a lavish, excessive lifestyle that is not achievable for most women.

Defending the site, where it's not rare to see clothing advertised in the $1,000 – $2,000 price range, the actress said, "We have products on the site that are under $10, we have products on the site that are $500. I think the idea is that we're gonna find the best thing, whatever it is, at any price point."

Oh Gwyneth, will you ever learn?!
