Ed Sheeran is being sued for $20 million for allegedly copying a Matt Cardle song.

The people who wrote the X Factor winner's song Amazing have filed a lawsuit against Ed in a Californian court stating that his hit single Photograph contains 39 identical notes as Amazing, as well as having strikingly similar "words, vocal style, vocal melody, melody, and rhythm" to Matt's song.

Photograph – which was co-written by Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid who is also named in the lawsuit – has been sold more than 3.5million times since its release in 2014.

It has also been viewed over 200 million times on YouTube and was used in the movie Me Before You.

Meanwhile Matt Cardle's third release, Amazing, failed to make it past No.84 in the UK chart.

The lawsuit states: "While Sheeran, McDaid, and the other Defendants received career-defining accolades, awards, and a fortune for Photograph, the true writers of much of Photograph received nothing."

It claims there is an "unusual level of strikingly similar copying" between the songs and says "note-for-note copying makes up nearly one half of Photograph".

The same lawyer who successfully sued Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams for the similarities between Blurred Lines and a Marvin Gaye song is set to represent the songwriters.

Ed has yet to comment on the allegations.

Lunchtime was always a chore back in primary school, but if our dad had out this much effort into making our ham-and-cheese sangers looking pretty, we wouldn't have minded eating them so much.

Father-of-three Beau Coffron runs a website called Lunchbox Dad on which he posts pictures of the amazing creations he makes each morning for his kids to bring to school.

If you're interesting in making your own, Beau offers step-by-step guides for each creation – very sound indeed.

Beau has gained some serious popularity for his posts and has even featured on television several times as well as a host of other websites.

He takes inspiration from his kids' favourite TV shows and movies and the results are amazing.

This Minion lunch is probably one of our favourites… what a great way to get kids eating fruit:

A lot of his creations are Disney inspired, including this deadly Frozen lunch…

Beau also includes his own interests too, like this Star Wars inspired grub:

And HOW CUTE is this Finding Nemo lunch box? We actually can't deal…

We'll definitely be trying out a few of these!

Meet your new spirit animal, Audrey.

She is six-years old and better at Zumba than many of us will probably ever be.

The dancing sensation suffers from a disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia, a blood disorder. Her body does not produce red blood cells, DBA is a very rare disorder.

It means that she required blood transfusions every 3-5 weeks in order to survive. The other treatment option is a steroid which only roughly 40 per cent of patients actually receive the benefit.

Despite her illness, Audrey loves to dance, and her parents upload her videos from her Zumba classes to a Facebook page which aims to help raise awareness for the rare blood condition.

Scott and Julie, Audrey’s parents have explained that DBA is so rare that it is also severely under researched.

They are hoping that by helping Audrey spread the word about DBA in such a cheerful way, they can help to get more research in place dedicated to DBA treatments.

This is unbelievable!

When a crow was struggling to swim in a pond, we bet he thought he was a goner once a big brown bear tried to fish him out…

Amazingly, the bear simply rescued the crow, laid him on the side and carried on doing his bear business.

The crow looks pretty shook after, not to mention glad to be alive.

It just goes to show that no creature likes to see another in trouble.

This is so amazingly cute, then it gets a bit scary, then it's super cute again!

When this family member arrives home after being away for two years, she got the best reaction EVER from her pet dog!

As he sequels in delight, things get a little serious as he appears to pass out from excitement, but it all ends well, thankfully!

We're almost certain that's a smile we see at the end…

Wow is just about all we can say right now!

Coláiste Lurgan have done another epic cover, this time it’s Coldplay’s Sky Full of Stars (as Gaeilge, of course!).

With a little help from Seo Linn‘s Keith O Briain, this crowd totally rocked it and it’s just unbelievable!

This video is called Portrait of Lotte and was created by Lotte’s dad, Frans Hoffmeester.

Frans recorded his daughter every week from her birth up until she was 14 years-old.

The results are incredible as we see Lotte grow from an adorable little baby girl into a beautiful young woman.

This cover of Beyoncé’s album (shortened obviously) is the best thing you will see today.

These guys are simply amazing, and we totally need their jumpers!

This rap gets faster and faster and he doesn’t trip up at all, not once! But it did take him 67 takes…

7 year-old Elias will amaze you with his piano playing skills.

We’re swooning.
