Jetlag can get the best of us, and it seems that no matter how much you travel, it will catch up with you, one way or another.

For David Beckham, it was a rather amusing Whatsapp message to his mother.

Sharing his mistake on his Instagram, the former footballer explained on his way home from a recent trip to China, the jetlag had caught up with him.

The story post shows the funny blunder and was captioned:

“When you are jet lagged and send your mum the wrong message.”

Beckham accidentally called his mum  “hot” when she had checked in to make sure he got home safely.

The message read:

“Hey your hot back this morning we to the country now at […] just going to be soon.”

David’s mum, Sandra West clearly understood her son’s message was down to fatigue and replied: “Looks like your tired by your message as long as your all ok! X”

The famous footballer was in Macau, China for the Special Olympics. Beckham uploaded some sweet snaps to Instagram about his stay and captioned it:

“I am honoured to be supporting such a great organisation and to meet these incredible children.”

After his trip, it looks as if the footballer got straight back into family life as Victoria posted in her Instagram story that ‘daddy’s home’ along with an adorable picture of David in face-paint, courtesy of their youngest child, Harper.

The six-year-old looks to be quite the artist as she got creative with some glitter and paint.

It may have been pretty chilly out this morning, but fear not, the warm weather is finally on its way.

It looks like the warm weather is set to make a very welcome return to Ireland this weekend as forecasters are predicting temperatures of 20 degrees and plenty of sunshine for the bank holiday weekend.

We will finally experience some good weather after what felt like the longest winter in history. Forecasters have said temperatures could reach up to 22 degrees.

Met Éireann stated that temperatures will be highest in Leinster, Munster and east Ulster.

You can put away the raincoats and umbrellas for the weekend because the rain is set to stay well away for the May bank holiday.

“A warm front will move up over Ireland on Thursday bringing in milder weather for the rest of the week and over the weekend,” said Met Éireann.

We’ll have to put up with the cooler weather for another couple of days, but the sunshine is on its way.

Thanks to the fine weather we’ll be able to leave the house this bank holiday weekend. It’s time to put away the blankets and enjoy the sweet sunshine for a change.

Spending time outside is bound to put a spring in your step. Head out to your local park, or maybe brave the beach. Just make sure you make the most of the sunshine this weekend.

One of our favourite TV presenters turned fitness guru has opened up about how her past battles with addiction are aiding her in light of her divorce.

Davina McCall announced her separation from husband of 17 years, Matthew Robertson last November and has said her past struggles with alcohol and drug addiction have only made her stronger in the face of their marriage breakdown.

The 50-year-old spoke frankly to Red Magazine, about how losing her sister, the strained relationship with her mother and her past addiction issues has motivated her in times of trial and tribulation.

"When I think of all the stuff with my mum in my childhood, the drugs and the alcohol, my sister dying… All those make you think, 'Throw anything at me, I'll be OK.' It might be hard, but I do feel I could deal with anything." McCall said.

The TV host has always spoken openly about the trying relationship she had with her mother Florence Kock, and in August 2012, tragedy struck the family as her sister, Caroline Baday, gained her wings as she lost a battle with cancer.

The presenter went on to highlight the importance of these tough experiences as they will provide you with tools to get through the hard times.

"You need to experience difficulty to learn how to be resilient. If you haven't, the minute you do it will hit you like a freight train as you’ve never been given the tools to deal with it," she added.

Davina and Matthew have three children together, Holly, 16, Tilly, 14, and 11-year-old Chester.

The host is now a huge advocate of the fitness lifestyle and is working on reaching her goal of becoming a personal trainer. The star took to Instagram to celebrate achieving her level two, with the next step of becoming fully qualified.

The former Big Brother presenter has previously opened up about changing her diet. She made the decision to cut out sugar from her diet when her sister had a health scare a number of years ago.

Davina said her addiction to sugar was concerning, and giving it up was one of the greatest decisions she has ever made. She told the Daily Mail: “The benefits of cutting out sugar are ridiculous. I feel full of energy, I smile more, my libido has improved… I walk around the bedroom naked.”

We all have our own list of likes and dislikes when it comes to the world of romance.

Perhaps you're a sucker for a winning smile, or maybe arrogance is your biggest deal-breaker? Each to their own at he end of the day, but there does seem to be one thing we can all agree on when it comes to looking for a partner.

According to a recent survey conducted by Plenty of Fish, the single most important thing singles look for is the ability to have a "meaningful conversation."

The study found that good communication skills rated higher than physical attraction, with 60 per cent of respondents saying they believed it was possible to fall in love after just one conversation.

What's more, a further 87 per cent of people said they become more attracted to someone after a good chat.

When it came to dating dislikes, bad grammar placed higher than bad sex, with 58 per cent of those surveyed admitting it was a total deal-breaker.

Daters also say they have had enough of talking about Donald Trump, with 51 per cent saying it was their most hated topic of conversation.

Other yawn-worthy matters include the 'millennials vs everyone else' argument and speciality diets.

So, if you think you're going to woo someone with your oh-so-trendy avocado toast recipe, you might want to reconsider your approach.

Love your dog more than anything in the world? Same.

Do you also enjoy doing normal human things and being able to spend one-on-one time with your dog together?

Love meeting other like minded dog lovers who share your love of dogs? Sure, why the hell not I say.

Well, gather your pack and celebrate with other dog nuts in style at Pawtrait Ireland's first dog-friendly Bark-B-Q of the year at the Horse Show House.

10/10 for the play on words there, btw.

Enjoy gorgeous BBQ eats and ice-cold beverages in a fun and friendly atmosphere at this dog-friendly event.

Have a few questions? No worries lads, we have all the answers.

I love dogs but I don't have one, is it ok to still attend?

Heck yes! Of course! You can purchase the Adult Only Ticket which excludes the doggy treats but you'll still get fed and watered!

I am coming alone but I have two dogs I would like to bring, is that possible?

You can purchase the General Admission Ticket, this will cover you and one of your dogs. If you would like to bring an additional dog than you can purchase the Additional Dog Ticket which will cover your second dog's treats. Make sure you are able to handle both dogs on your own!

My dog is not friendly with other dogs, can I still bring them along?

If your dog is not properly socialised and ok being in the company of other dogs than please do not bring them along. Doing so would put other attendees pets at potential risk. You have the option to come along without your pet, just choose the Adult Only Ticket option.

Do I need to bring along anything for my dog?

Yes, it's a good idea to bring along the following for your dog and to be prepared to keep them entertained. A bored dog will become a mischevious dog.

– Plenty of treats to keep your dogs attention

– A selection of toys and/or food fillable toys (such as Kongs) to keep your dog busy

– Poop bags

– Plenty of fresh water and a bowl for your dog

– You may want to consider a blanket or something soft for your dog to lie on

My dog can be quite noisy at times, is that an issue?

Some dogs when they get excited will naturally bark. We are in an outdoor venue and so it should not be an issue. However, if your dog is getting overwhelemd with the situation, it's recommended you take them outside the venue for a short 5 minute walk and then return. Continually noisy or disruptive dogs will be asked to leave the venue.

Can I let my dog off leash at the Venue?

In short, no. Your dog is your responsibility at all times during the event and must be kept on a leash and under your control. No four-legged friends are allowed inside the venue and must remain outside.

Are there any rules when it comes to my dog at the Venue?

Yes. The venue have very kindly offered us the space to host the event and in turn, it is our responsibility to respect their wishes. No four-legged friends are allowed inside the venue.

Accidents happen but the Venue have asked that dogs do not pee in the Venue area, either on furniture or on the outdoor flooring (mulch) to protect it. There are plenty of bushes and lamp-posts just outside the venue area for male dogs and there is a small triangular grassy area just over the bridge for female dogs.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Children are welcome on site at the Venue, however we would not recommend bringing very small children as they may get knocked over accidentally by some of the larger dogs.

Image result for dogs gif

If you're lucky enough to look younger than 25, to bring a valid ID if you plan on drinking alcohol.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The DART is an available option for you to bring a pet into town. It is only a short walk from Lansdowne Road and Sandymount Train and DART stations to the RDS.

There is plenty of on street parking surrounding the venue, however it is paid.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please contact the organiser via e-mail, audrey@pawtrait.ie

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring either a printed ticket or the digital format to the event.

SEE YOU THERE!

Kim and Kanye welcomed their third child into their family this year. Their daughter Chicago was born on January 15, 2018.

The parents-of-three explained that they chose to call their baby girl Chicago in honour of Kanye’s late-mum. He believed that naming his daughter Chicago was the greatest way to pay tribute to her.

However, Chicago wasn’t the only name on their list, with Kim recently revealing two of the names she had originally picked out for the newest addition to their family.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show, Kim shared, “We were gonna name her Jo because of my grandma, Mary Jo.”

Kim added that they were also considering calling their daughter Grace, but they ended up choosing Chicago as a tribute to Kanye’s mum, who passed away in 2007 following surgical complications.

The mum-of-three says she loves what the name stands for, and also thinks it’s “cool and different.”

Party of 5

A post shared by Kim Kardashian West (@kimkardashian) on

Kanye was distraught following his mum’s death, as they shared such a close bond, so his daughter’s name is the perfect way to honour Donda.

Kim explained that Kanye really wanted to name his daughter Donda, but Kim just wasn’t sure about it, “I love that name, but I just wasn't sure. It's so much to live up to."

They both knew that Chicago was the right choice, "That is a place that made him, and a place that he remembers his family from," Kim shared.

Grace and Jo are such sweet names, but the meaning behind Chicago makes it that little bit more special. Kim and Kanye certainly picked the perfect name for their little girl.

Jacqueline Duran Joyce lives in New York City with her husband Luke.

Luke, a Galway native, and Jacqueline, tied the knot in Ireland last year – and there were some truly amazing snaps from the day.

However, as stunning as the wedding pictures were, no photos compare to the those that the lovely Jackie captures herself.

A few months before the wedding, the couple decided to go on an adventure, and travelled the world (I literally mean every bloody corner of the globe btw).

Central Park all dressed up for spring

A post shared by Jacqueline Joyce (@jacqduran) on

While photography had always been a passion of Jackie's, she really started to pursue it while discovering some of the most amazing locations in the world.

And let me tell you, thank GOD she did – because she 's got mad skills.

Jackie has captured everything, from the sky scrapers of New York City and the horses of Connemara to the lighthouses of Montauk and the mountains of New Zealand.

One thing I truly admire about her work is that she sees beauty in the mundane.

In the flash of a camera, Jackie will take a photo of something so gorgeous, that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.

All of a sudden, an old, unappealing boat becomes a work of art – immortalised through Jackie's photography.

A self proclaimed beach-bum, Jackie has a particular penchant for all things nautical.

I’m dreaming of a sunny day out East.

A post shared by Jacqueline Joyce (@jacqduran) on

Growing up on the water, and spending many summers of her adult life by the beach – Jackie eats, sleeps and breathes the sea, and all that comes with it.

This is apparent in her online store, where the majority of her magical prints have a nautical theme.

However, as much as I too am a water lover, it is Jackie's ability to capture the quiet magic of New York that appeals to me most.

You see the Brooklyn Bridge, The Empire State and Times Square everywhere, all you have to do is typ 'NYC' into Google.

Daydreaming of one of my favorite places!

A post shared by Jacqueline Joyce (@jacqduran) on

Jackie takes a different, slightly ethereal, approach to photographing the concrete jungle.

My personal favourite photo? The picture of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan bridge at dusk, which appear blurred out in the background, allowing white flowers to take centre stage.

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about – you still get the incredible hit of the world renowned bridged of the Big Apple, but with a gentle twist.

Low lying clouds and possibly the most beautiful trees I've ever seen.

A post shared by Jacqueline Joyce (@jacqduran) on

Last year, the lovely Jackie set up her very own Etsy page (blessed), where people can go and purchase prints of her work.

We genuinely love them all, and you will too!

Have a gawk around her page, we DARE you not to instantly want to add everything to your cart.

So as of about 45 seconds ago, the sun was (and still is) shining – HURRAH.

This sheer glimpse at the possibility of summer has me all excited.

I'm excited for beach holidays, packing my coats away, and of course, all the deadly music festivals coming to Ireland.

Whether your a Longitude lover, or more of a Body & Soul kind of gal, you'll defo be thinking about the style.

What will you wear? What makeup look are you going for? WHAT will you be doing with your hair?

Lucky for you, I'm here to help.

Last summer, the gorge humans at Babooshka got me all glittered uo for Longitude, and it has got me thinking about groovy hairstyles.

And so to Pinterest I went, and found some serious festival hair inspo, for your viewing pleasure:

1. Boho chic

Okay, I need this chick's hair immediately. Boho waves, paired with a fishtail plait and ruffled up space buns? Perfection.

 2. Hair tattoos

So, you probably be finding gold flecks in your hair for weeks, but I honestly think it's worth it! How groovy does this look?

 3. Alternative ponytail

For many of us, long hair can be a slight hindrance when you want to dance and enjoy yourself. Enter: the ponytail. But when it comes to the festival pony, why not add a few plaits, and be a bit different?

4. Flower Power

I'm honestly SO over floral crowns, but that doesn't mean I'm over flowers in general. I love the idea of popping a few cute daisies along a plait!

5. Top knot.

Ah, the simple top knot. You just can't go wrong.

6. Glitter. Always.

Big dirty YES to smothering ourselves in glitter this festival season. Embrace your inner unicorn.

pinterest: @ nandeezy †

7. Few feathers, be grand.

Keep your look simple enough with straight locks and a few feathers thrown in. Can't go wrong.

 8. Go all out.

Colourful dye? Check. Loads of glitter? Check. Mad looking space buns? CHECK!

9. Fab fishtails.

We are LOVING these soft fishtail plaits, paired with cute flowers. Also, the colour of her hair is divine. 10/10.

10. When in doubt… boxer braids.

A classic. They keep your hair out of your face, and you'll look groovy. What's not to like?

Queens, listen up! Pre-drinks are about to get a lot more interesting as two of the most outrageous elements of popular culture combine to make the ultimate party game.

Cards Against Humanity is no stranger to the odd unofficial spin-off. From Harry Potter to Disney the bad-mannered card game has undergone a few makeovers over the past few years – though we think this latest one might just be our favourite yet.

Introducing Cards Against Rumanity.

And yes, that is a RuPaul's Drag Race version of the beloved game.

The cards feature various words and phrases used throughout the series such as  'Backrolls?', 'Fine art drag', 'A sequins dress', 'Voguing the house down', 'Puppets', and 'One hundred thousand dollars' – so we can only imagine all the hilarious combinations just waiting to be had.

A set costs $29.99 (€24.79), and are available on amazon. However, as they don't currently ship to Ireland, you might have a hard time getting your hands on them.

But never fear. There is an alternative.

A similar, and much more affordable, set is available on Etsy for just £4.50 (approx €5.11).

This option allows you to download a digital PDF version of the cards and print them out at your leisure.

And while that might sound like a lot of effort – we can guarantee it'll all be worth it in the end!

Virtual Reality for Weddings has landed in Ireland! For decades’ people have captured their weddings, from the days of black and white photographs of old to high quality full colour photographs and more recently with video recordings.

Now with the advancement of new technologies, capturing your wedding has taken a giant leap forward. Virtual reality is growing at a phenomenal rate and has really taken off in areas such as gaming and education. To put it in its simplest terms, virtual reality is a 360-degree, 3-D video that virtually places you directly back into a moment or into the middle of the action, and now it is available for your wedding!

The footage is captured using a state of the art 360-degree camera which captures a visual image from every single angle. When you experience this footage via a virtual reality headset, it is if you were back in the room with the ability to look in any direction and see what had been there originally.

360-degree sound is also captured, meaning you can hear the sounds from all directions as you would normally in the live moment.

When you apply this to a wedding, the result is truly amazing. Imagine being able to re-experience the best day of your life, witness the reactions of close relatives that you may not have seen on the day, whether that be your mother in law crying at the first dance, or your father laughing throughout the best man’s speech.

It is if you were literally back in the room with the ability to watch it over and over again. Now imagine experiencing this 20 or 30 years after your wedding, to re-live those happiest moments with all the people you love most as they were. For many couples, this immersive video transports them back to their wedding day in a way that standard video can’t, allowing them to relive how they felt in that moment.

The opportunity to share the experience with relatives and loved ones who may not have been able to make it to your wedding has also improved greatly with this service. Virtual reality takes people beyond a photograph or simple 2D video capture.

“VR Weddings” are a premium producer of virtual reality content specifically for weddings, and have a range of options to suit your budget and requirements. Once your preferred option has been chosen, a pre-production meeting will take place at the wedding venue to establish the running order and best camera position for the key moments throughout the day.

On your wedding day, an experienced 360-degree camera professional will capture all of the pre-planned footage. This is then post produced in studio to create a beautifully edited piece of virtual reality content. This content is then placed onto the most modern headset available on the market – The Oculus Go, and is delivered to you within 2 weeks after your wedding date for you to enjoy and keep.
