Whether you're a Daddy's girl or not, we'd like to think that most fathers and daughter have a special kind of bond.

But all of us would agree that we would NEVER let our dads read our texts that we send to our boyfriends.

Whether it's talking about how drunk you were last weekend, or how good he was the night before, we think that kinda talk would either make our dads angry or cry… or both.

So, these ladies in this video were VERY brave to let their dads into their messages. But we have to admit, it does make the after-lunch slump a little bit more amusing.

21 weeks into her term, expectant mother Pippa O' Connor has shared a happy update of her pregnancy in a post to her website.

The blogger, model and mother-of-one revealed that she had her halfway scan today and was accompanied by her 2-year-old son, Ollie.

The 31-year-old, who is married to television personality Brian Ormond, was relieved to find that everything was going to plan.

"Everything went well thankfully. Even when you’ve nothing to worry about specifically I think it’s normal for expectant mothers to be a little anxious."

Despite not holding back during the Christmas period, Pippa revealed that she is feeling healthy and happy at less than four months away from her due date.

"Bump-wise I definitely feel a bit neater this time. (I do not know how after Christmas! My god I was such a piggy!!)."

"I’m still feeling well and have no complaints on that end."

We even got a glimpse of the baba from a snap of scan as seen on Pippa's Snapchat.

While everything is going to plan, Pippa is starting to feel some discomfort but only has one minor complaint.

"My only complaint- and it’s not even a complaint as really I’ve been so lucky… But It’s my skin, I’m getting constant break outs around my chin."

Even though she does not yet know the sex of the baby, she is looking for some name inspiration already.

"Oh and baby names… We haven’t one boy or girl name that I’m set on at the moment. I better get my thinking cap on. Any tips on baby name inspiration?"

Caroline Flack's been celebrating the end of The X Factor with a girly holiday in Miami – but she was brought back down to earth with a bang yesterday after some "nasty" pictures made it into the press.

The TV presenter was photographed with a long-lens camera as she changed out of her bikini on the beach, with images showing her exposed breasts published online yesterday.

Understandably, Caroline was left upset by what she termed a "perverted" invasion of her privacy.

"There is something very perverted about men hiding in bushes trying to take pictures of me while I'm changing," she tweeted last night.

"Even more perverted that people are allowed to print the nasty pictures. How is this legal?"

The ITV host later clarified that the beach she was sunbathing on was "private property."

Just last week, Caroline admitted that life in the public eye had taken its toll on her over the last twelve months – especially during X Factor's live shows, as she dealt with negative comments from viewers.

"I cried after the first live Sunday night," she told the Daily Mirror.

"The reaction was quite overwhelming because I didn’t think people would be talking about how I look, how I stand, how I walk, or how I laugh."

Topshop recognise top model material when they see it.

Having previously utilised the talents of both Cara Delevinge and Gigi Hadid in their highly successful campaigns, it was only right that the leading high street brand got another familiar face to front it's newest collection.

And they are certainly keeping up with the it-girls of fashion as it was revealed today that the newest face of the brand was none other than Karlie Kloss.

Victoria's Secret model, vlogger and a bona fide member of Taylor Swift's squad, Karlie perfectly encapsulates Topshop's laid back, edgy style and she also just so happens to be at the top of her modelling game.

The Topshop SS 16 collection has already launched globally and the 23-year-old model's images can be seen featured across the brand's online site and stores.

And, as it turns out, Karlie is actually a veteran when it comes to modelling with Topshop

She actually featured in campaigns for the brand years ago, before she became the fashion powerhouse that she is today.

Topshop prides itself on snatching up promising models at early stages of their careers and they now boast both Karlie and Jourdan Dunn as their fashion model alumni.

"It is thrilling to have Karlie back, eight years after her first modelling job and first Topshop campaign alongside Jourdan," said the creative director of the brand, Kate Phelan.

"She is the ultimate Topshop girl and modern super – a world-renowned fashion figure, businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist who will resonate with our global customers through her many talents, ambitions and passions."

And well judging by these photos, we will be waiting longingly for our January paychecks!

If you watched Come Dine With Me last night, you were no doubt left running behind the couch to shelter from the awkwardness that was Peter's final scene.

After serving up a five-course dinner to his three guests, poor Peter was astounded that he didn't win the £1,000 (€1,360) grand prize – and he didn't make a secret of it.

In this clip he's seen taking strips off the actual winner, Jane, saying she "ruined" his night intentionally.

"Enjoy the money, I hope it makes you very happy. Dear lord, what a sad little life Jane," he said after realising who had won.

"You ruined my night completely just so you could have the money.

"I hope now you will spend it on getting some lessons in grace and decorum because you have all the grace of a reversing dump trunk without any tyres on.

Take your money and get off my property."

OUCH. Needless to say, the show's ending sparked a fair bit of uproar on Twitter:

As for Peter, he's since blocked his Twitter account – so it doesn't seem like we'll be hearing from him any time soon.

Well, that's one way to avoid the post-Christmas fear.

2FM host Ruth Scott revealed on Twitter last night that she was postponing a grim alcohol-free January in favour of something a little more exciting – her engagement celebrations.

"Myself & @RobMorganDublin were going to do #DryJanuary #OnTheDry but he only went & proposed on New Year's Eve," she wrote.

"Can I do DryFeb instead?"

Ruth has been seeing Merrion Hotel accountant Rob Morgan for the last two years, and admitted recently that the long wait for Mr Right was more than worth it.

"People always say you will meet someone when you least expect it, and I was ‘least expecting it’ for twelve years, because I was single for that long," she said in a recent interview with the Irish Independent.

"Rob is brilliant and so encouraging, and while it’s great to be comfortable on your own, it is also really nice to have someone who has your back."

The newly-engaged pair met back in 2013 at a Father Ted quiz night in Dublin, a coincidence which no doubt holds some significance for Rob as he is the son of the late Father Ted actor Dermot Morgan.

"As soon as I saw Rob, I thought he was quite hot," Ruth confessed.

"We went for many coffees at first, because I was so out of practice at dating, but you know, I don’t give a damn about being single for twelve years, as it was worth it to meet Rob."

Congrats to Ruth and Rob!

Today and yesterday, #IrishUpAMovieOrActor started to trend on Twitter, and while we knew we'd get a few laughs from it, we didn't expect comedy GOLD.

Many took to the social media site to Irish up some of our beloved movies, and as simple as the changes are, we kinda wish that they were real movies, because we'd totally watch them.

Here, we picked our top 10 that will put a smile on your face and make you forget the horrible rain outside:

1. All roads lead to Belfast

2. A nod to the former Taoiseach

3. And the ever popular, Father Ted

4. Because the Nite Link in Dublin can be mega scary sometimes

5. We prefer Cate Blanchett's new name

6. Sounds better, right?

7. Now, this would be brilliant

8. Because not everyone in Ireland can…

9. Feck is as common an Irish word as potato

10. A cute pig doing a jig? This NEEDS to happen

As controversial as their relationship is, it's clear that Tyga and Kylie Jenner are crazy for each other and we have to say that this is something we really didn't expect to happen.

A 14-year-old girl, Molly O'Malia, has accused Tyga of messaging her "uncomfortable" texts, which is apparently what's to blame for Kylie breaking up with the rapper last November.

Molly held a press conference yesterday and hired celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to fight her case.

The aspiring model and singer explained that while she never met Tyga before, they traded texts and messages on Instagram until he suggested that they FaceTime. This is when Molly claimed that she felt uncomfortable and stopped all contact with the 26-year-old.

The exchange between Tyga and Molly was cited in OK Magazine last November, where the school girl's picture was blurred. But Molly said that people still knew who she was because she has thousands of followers on Instagram.

And despite the blurred photo, the teen also told the press that a lot of people recognised her and gave her negative comments for splitting Kylie and Tyga up.

Molly said: "As a result of the story and the photo, I received a lot of negative attention, not only from people in my own state but from all over the place. I don’t deserve the negative attention I have been getting as a result of this photo.

"I would never have allowed OK Magazine or any other magazine to use them.

"I am speaking out today because I don’t want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl."

The press conference, which was live streamed through TMZ, saw her attorney, Gloria share a few words to the media: "She feels that she needs to speak out and so does her mom, people need to be accountable."

"I know that Tyga has music coming out this month, Gone Too Far, and I think he’s gone too far with this."

The rapper has now spoken out himself about the incident through his people, telling TMZ that yes, he did reach out to Molly, but only because his team wanted to sign her to their record label.

Tyga's manager, Anthony Martini told the website that his team found out that Molly had a large musical following on social media and wanted her to join Last Kings Records

He then went on to say that Tyga was strictly business and completely PG when he was talking to Molly and according to texts obtained by TMZ, she claimed she was 17-years-old.

Anthony also pointed out that things never got "uncomfortable" between them, and the hitmaker only wanted to FaceTime Molly to talk business and see her sing… as he sat in the studio with his producers.

Five months after his death, the wife and father-in-law of Jason Corbett have been charged with his murder.

Mr Corbett, a Limerick native and father-of-two, was found with fatal head injuries, allegedly from a baseball bat, at his home in North Carolina on August 2 last.

His wife Molly Martens and her father Thomas, a former FBI agent, were both charged with second degree murder and voluntary manslaughter by a grand jury in the state yesterday. A trial against the pair will go ahead at a later date.

Police were called to the home of Mr. Corbett and Ms. Martens in the early hours of August 2 following reports of a domestic disturbance. According to police reports, Mr Thomas Martens told the 911 dispatch operator who took the call that "he had been in an argument with his son-in-law and that he had struck him with a baseball bat".

However the Martens family allege that the actions against Mr. Corbett were "necessary and justified," with Ms. Martens' uncle Ernest saying he was confident the pair would be "exonerated."

There are "no finer people you could meet" than the Martens, he said on Newstalk Breakfast this morning, adding that the pair plan to plead not guilty.

Mr. Corbett married Ms. Martens after moving to the US in 2011 and employing her as his nanny.

His first wife and the mother of his two children Jack and Sarah, Mags Corbett, died after suffering an asthma attack in 2006.

Mr. Corbett's sister Treacy Lynch and her husband David – who are currently the legal carers of David's two children after a custody battle with Ms. Martens – travelled to the US for the grand jury decision hearing yesterday.

"The family see it as a start," a source close to the Corbetts said of yesterday's development.

We know that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are the couple of the moment, but one thing we didn't expect is for them to move in together already.

The hot new couple were spotted out in New York City yesterday, and got a lot of people talking about the various stops they took on their visit.

While in a SoHo neighbourhood, the duo were seen visiting various apartments that are available to rent.

But one source told E! News, that they were just having a look, and don't plan to move in together yet. Huh?

Instead, the inside source said that they just wanted to see a few sights while spending time together in the Big Apple.

Now, if we wanted to visit a few sights in New York with our other half, we'd opt for the Statue of Liberty, or the Empire State Building, not a few… apartments.

Zayn and Gigi do seem quite keen on each other though, so you never know, it could happen soon enough.

We love our Irish fighter, Conor McGregor, but it seems he's not too popular with one famous champion.

In an interview with FightHype.com, Floyd Mayweather said that UFC champion, Conor, is brash and arrogant.

He also said because Mr McGregor is white, he gets no heat for all the rude and irrational things he says.

"He talks a lot trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I'm cocky and arrogant. So biased," said Floyd.

He didn't stop there though, telling the website that he's annoyed because it all comes down to race.

"I ain't racist… "I ain't racist at all, but I'm telling you racism still exists," he finished.
