Orla Gartland has been on the Irish music scene since 2012, making herself widely known through her YouTube channel.

Four years on, and debuting her third studio album, there's no stopping this Dublin gal.

For her first collaboration, she teamed up with Great Good Fine Ok, to bring you Shapeshifting, which she says is all about how "nothing stays the same."

And Orla has just been announced in the line-up for our SHEmazing! gig on July 6, which will see her performing alongside Róisín O and Hudson Taylor.

Taking place in The Sugar Club, we want the gig to raise awareness for dating abuse – an issue that affects more Irish women than anyone would like to imagine.

If you’ve ever been bothered by your inability to chop hard-boiled eggs into perfectly rounded circles – or if you just like looking at weird food – then this is for you.

The mystery of circular egg slices has long baffled deli-goers, but turns out the reason those eggs are so round is because they are cut from one giant tubular egg called a Danish long egg.

Now before you start convincing yourselves of strange things, hens do not lay long eggs – instead regular eggs are put through a series of processes until the long egg is produced.

According to this odd but strangely mesmerising video on Diply, the eggs are washed, cracked and separated by machines before the whites are cooked in a mould which has a hole in its centre.

The yolks are then injected back into the middle of the mould so they look more like regular eggs.

If any less than perfect looking eggs arrive at the production line’s end, quality inspectors grab them and remove the ugly bits to ensure the long eggs look picture perfect.

Sometimes it feels like our phones are hiding information from us, and other times, no matter how hard we try, we just can't seem to find solutions to the mobile's problems.

Well, if you have an iPhone, then things are about to get a lot handier for you.

According to independent.co.uk, a few simple codes can give you access into a huge amount of hidden information, including how good your signal really is, Internet settings, call barring and call waiting stats.

The iPhone's Field Mode gives you information about the phone's Internet. It's enabled by dialling *3001#12345#* and then pressing the call button. Your phone's screen will then turn grey, and then the new information will pop up. Handy!

A very useful feature of this code is checking out the detailed signal strength on your mobile, which will be indicated on the top-left corner.

If you see anything above -80, your phone's signal is working on a normal scale. However, anything below -110 is the equivalent of one or no bars.

You can also keep the indication number instead of the bars at the top of your phone by holding down the power button – the notification to turn your phone off will appear as normal – and then you just have to press the home button.

Dialling *#33# will show the status of your call barring (numbers you have barred from calling you) settings. That tool can be turned on and off using *33*[your phone's pin]# and #33&[your phone's pin]#.

Using *#43# will tell you whether or not call waiting is turned on. Then, it can be turned on and off using *43# and #43#.

*#06# will bring up your IMEI identifier number which is extremely useful if your phone is stolen and you need to shut it off remotely.

Geordie Shore girls, past and present, have constantly been changing their looks, with Charlotte and Holly being the main culprits – but now all eyes are on Vicky Pattison.

Followers of the reality star have made very harsh criticisms over her latest bunch of Instagram snaps, with many saying "back away from the fake."

Vicky is currently filming scenes for her new show It's Not Me, It's You, and took to social media to keep her fans updated.

However, her fans were more interested in her new look than her new TV show.

The backlash first began when she shared a photo with former Xtra Factor presenter, Matt Richardson.

Fans began commenting on the photo, saying: "You're becoming unrecognisable… Back away from the fake," and another mentioned, "Looks nothing like her… How much photoshop."

It then continued the next night when she posted another behind-the-scenes snap.

She’s the stunning model of the moment who wowed in THAT dress and faux bangs at this year’s Cannes festival – not to mention party of the world's biggest #girlsquad.

But Bella Hadid has now turned her back on her trademark dark tresses – opting for a quirky mix of blonde and bubblegum pink instead.

And we reckon that the result makes her look rather more like her big sis, Gigi.

Posting a picture of her drastically different locks to Instagram, the 19-year-old LA-native revealed that she is currently in London.

And yup – this is definitely her most extreme look to date: platinum blonde strands complete with a bubblegum pink ombré fade.

She has also opted to leave a generous root of natural brunette at the top of her hair.

We imagine that Bella’s head-turning new look is for a shoot – so expect to see a return on her more natural hue soon.

Singer Selena Gomez took a tumble on stage last night while performing in Tulsa Oklahoma as part of her Revival tour.

And rather than get upset over the mishap, the Good For You singer handled the situation like a total pro.

After a trip down a set of steps mid-way through her performance left Selena on her knees, the star simply laughed into the microphone and said: “First fall of the whole damn tour!”

“Can you believe it, in Tulsa?”

 

Just last week Selena’s ex Justin Bieber hit headlines when he fell off his stage during a Canadian performance.

Unfortunately the Sorry singer didn’t recover quite as smoothly as his former girlfriend as he fell totally off the stage in what looked like a painful slip.

Boyzone are heading towards their 25th anniversary, and they plan to do it in serious style.

The band reportedly wants to mark the occassion with a major TV documentary and a Wembley Stadium gig.

According to the Daily Star, the documentary will look at the highs and lows of the band throughout the years – as well as the heartbreaking passing of Stephen Gately.

"The lads have the potential to deliver a fascinating documentary about their rise, success, world tours, Stephen's death, comebacks and staying together," an insider told the publication.

The source also revealed that it's Ronan Keating that is pushing the anniversary to be a huge event.

"For Ronan there is no other option, the 25th will be a huge deal and may be the last major milestone for them to celebrate in style.

"He's getting the boys onside to keep 2018 free for a series of projects, the biggest being to headline Wembley. It would be a celebration of all the boybands." the insider added.

The break-up blues must be hitting Kylie Jenner hard lately as she has just revealed some wild new lip colours.

The reality star took to Instagram to show off two new lip kits: 'Freedom', which is deep navy and 'Skylie', which is a bright powder blue.

In a video posted on the social media site, Kylie explained that the new colours are fo the 4th of July celebrations in America.

She also revealed that 'Skylie' is based a a blue Ferrari, and we have to say, it's not for the faint-hearted.

Kylie seems to love them, but other than going to a festival, we doubt we'll ever don these colours.

Uh-oh… Things don't seem rosy at all for Demi Lovato at the moment.

Not only did she break up with her boyfriend of six years last week, but now she's announced that she's quitting Twitter and Instagram.

She took to social media last night to say she doesn't like the response she receives on some of her posts, and then later took to Twitter to share a message about why she's quitting Twitter and Instagram for good.

“But why do people actually give a f**k what I say?? like if you don’t care the gtfo haha (sic).

"That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this is what y’all talk about,” she shared.

She then told her followers to follow her on Snapchat to keep them updated.

He had his fair share of work cut out for him this year when he signed up to do the Eurovision, but it seems that Nicky Byrne might be going down quite a different path now.

Speaking on his show on 2fm, Nicky admitted that he has already been approached by film producers to play a role in the upcoming football flick about English footballer Jamie Vardy.

"The role is Kasper Schmeichel in Leicester City, Jamie Vardy movie," he said on the show.

“The movie is being made and they said to me because I was an ex [goal]keeper would I be interested in screen testing for it.

“So I will be meeting people to see.”

We'd definitely go see him on the big screen!

Congrats to Joanna Page, she is expecting her third child!

The Gavin and Stacey star made the announcement on Twitter last night, joking that her morning sickness is a "breeze" compared to her last two children.

She wrote: "Some good news! We've got baby number 3 on the way!!! … Morning sickness is a breeze when you're already looking after a 3 anf 1 year old (sic)!"

Her Emmerdale actor hubby, James Thornton also confirmed the news last night.

"Great news! Baby number 3 is on the way! Gonna be shifting from man to man marking to more of a zonal system of child control!"

We're delighted for the family.

It was the video seen by millions – not just in Ireland, but around the world too. 

Yes, in a Euro championships marred by thuggery, Ireland supporters have been winning over their own fans – and making a few local ladies blush at the same time.

Meet Carla Romera: a stunning young Bordeaux woman who works as a lifeguard and loves the beach and bikinis.

She was the centre – quite literally – of attention when Ireland were beaten 0-3 by Belgium in her home city at the weekend, being playfully ambushed by dozens of boys in green.

Posting her own video of her amazing experience to her Instagram account, Carla showed her appreciation for the 'top' Irish, whom she reckoned 'liked the French'.

In it she can be seen surrounded by 'les verts' – who treated her to a rendition of Can't Take My Eyes Off You, and latterly, Hey Baby.

In conversation with Mail Online, she also revealed: "I want to say that I am very proud of the Irish, it was a magical time filled with kindness and joy."

In her own video, one lucky Irishman can also be seen smiling in Ms Romera's direction – his charm eventually seeing him steal a cheeky kiss by the end of the crowd's rendition. 

Now all that's left to find is that young gentleman – who has amassed his own following of female supporters following the video's release. 

Although several requests as to his identity have been made online, as of yet he remains nameless.
