Everyone knows that the easiest way to prove you're the adultiest adult on the block is to spend your Sunday afternoon making your way around Ikea, right?

And unlike other adult endeavours, an afternoon spent examining shower curtains, deliberating over door knobs and weighing up the pros and cons of different storage boxes can be inexplicably fun.

It can also, however, be fairly time-consuming which is why we are PUMPED to hear that the Republic's second outlet is set to offer the first Order and Collection Point!

The store, which will be located at The Park in Carrickmines, means that those on-the-go can place an order from the IKEA range which can then be either collected or delivered to your home.

Oh, and it gets better, ladies. Much better.

The new store is legit the holy grail for anyone who has yet to learn the difference between skirting boards and dado rails as you will have the chance to chat with staff and get the lowdown on anything from bedroom furnishing to kitchen cupboards.

And if you're the indecisive kind? The store actually has a selected range of unique products which you can test and take home. We know, it's a dreamland.

So if you've been only dying to up your interiors game, but didn't know where to start then this new outlet is exactly what you've been waiting for.

Our mothers will be so proud!

After everything Kesha has been through of late, we're not surprised the Tik Tok singer feels the need to let off some steam from time to time, and last night was the perfect example of this.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the star who is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Sony told her millions of fans and followers that it was finally time to start a new chapter in her life.

"I have been battling depression and an eating disorder for a while now. My career is in a strange place and it feels like I'm fighting an uphill fight some days," she wrote in the post which has been liked a whopping 66,000 times since its upload.

Sharing a snap of herself wearing nothing but a pair of knickers, Kesha continued: "I have decided to take my life back. my freedom. my happiness. my voice. my worth. I will not just f*cking be quiet and hide. today I will say f*ck it and live."

Giving the middle fingers in the snap, the 29-year-old insisted she has reached a turning point: "So FUUUUUUUU*K it. today I'm making that choice. AND IM HAPPY AS A DAMN CLAM. and also a big ol f*ck u if u wanna hate on my body. just remember that makes u look like a d*ckhead."

Responding to the star's touching upload, her fans flocked to offer their support, with one writing: "You can’t go back and make a new start, but you can start now to make a brand new ending!"

Whether you're a fan of Kesha or not, you can't deny she's definitely a fighter.

Having racially abused former 1D member, Zayn Malik, taunted a 14-year-old Disney star and been dropped from the line-up of a UK festival, Azealia Banks has finally backed down and admitted she was in the wrong when she went seriously off one one last week.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the 24-year-old 212 singer told her fans and followers (who must be dwindling by the second) that she has taken the time to reassess her position, and she may actually have overstepped the mark. (Ya think?!)

"Now that the immediacy of the infamous incident has worn off, I've had some time to decompress and take a more rational assessment of things," she wrote in a post which has been liked a mere 6,000 times since its upload.

"I want to extend my sincerest apologies to the world. Employing racial / sexual slurs / stereotypes in attempts to make fun of or degrade another person or group is absolutely unacceptable and is not fair or fun for anyone."

"Allowing my anger to get the best of me, I've managed to insult millions of people without reason. And for that I give my deepest apologies," she finished.

Unfortunately for the New Yorker, Instagram users were having none of her apology, with some even suggesting that the Yung Raunxel singer has nothing to do with the post.

"You didn't write this, everything is spelt correctly," wrote one while another commented: "Really not good enough, how long will this apology last for until you start another online beef by being racist/homophobic/transphobic etc?"

"Such a shame that good talent has to be overshadowed by teen minded drama. Hopefully the world will bless us with someone as talented as you but with a heart of gold," they finished.

Well, that definitely didn't go to plan.

After months of ups and downs with Jeremy McConnell, it looks like things have finally reached breaking point for former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis.

According to numerous reports, the Celebrity Big Brother star has revealed she is pregnant with Jeremy's child, but claimed the Irish model wanted nothing more to do with her in light of the news.

In an online post which has since been deleted, the 23-year old actress poured her heart out and told fans and followers she has been left heartbroken by her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate.

Shocking Instagram users last night, Stephanie explained that she was pregnant and stunned by Jeremy's response to the enormous news.

'Yeah I loved him unconditionally, after a week of hell and late phone calls and pain he’s caused I still kept my phone so I could find him." she wrote. "Find out I’m pregnant and he says he doesn't love me any more and blocked. Heartbroken. Pain I can’t understand or deal with."

"Utter heartbreak", she continued in the candid post. "He never wanted a smaller in a broken home."

Stephanie also uploaded an image of baby's feet to her social media page, with the words: "Life will be full of ups and downs. It will be one tough ride. But your love for your child will be the anchor that will see you through it all…”

In the saga that is Steph and Jez, this latest drama has definitely taken first place.

Brendan O’Connor spoke so eloquently about his daughter Mary, who has Down’s syndrome, last night that it is not surprising huge support was been shown towards the star.

Talking on last night’s The Late Late Show, Brendan said Ireland’s lack of support for those with disabilities now will cause us to consider this time as an “inhumane culture” in two decades.

Opening up to Ryan Tubridy, the comedian honestly said that when he found out about his daughter’s disability he thought their lives were “ruined”.

“The reality is, and it’s terribly upsetting, the reality is that people like my daughter are, it’s all very well that we look at them, and go ‘aren’t they great’ but as a society the way we treat them is appalling,” he said.

“We will look back on how we treat these children now and we will go that was an inhumane culture we lived in.”

Adding that he feels lucky to be living in Dublin where services are nearby, he said he feels for those around the country who have to travel for help. 

“If you knew the struggle that mothers [go through], there is a lot of extra work involved there, there is a lot of pain involved there as well," he said.

“To lump on top of that then for these women, and it is mainly women, you do nothing to help them, to help the kids have some coping skills in life. There is nothing. There is less and less out there all the time. Talk to any parent.”

Mel B and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, have been hit with numerous rumours that they're heading for a split in the past couple of years, but with an interview with OK, Mel says that's far from the truth.

As her tenth wedding anniversary is next year, the singer hinted that she might renew her vows.

When asked about the rumours, she said: Well it's my 9th anniversary this year, it's the 10th next year, so I don't know. We'll see."

Scary Spice's comments comes after she had previously set the rumour mill into overdrive by suggesting that she'll wed Stephen again.

"Stephen is a bit crazy, but then I am a bit crazy so it kind of evens itself out. Actually, we are talking about renewing our vows," she told The Mirror.

If this does go through, we wonder if ALL the Spice Girls will attend – now that would be some event.

The direct message inbox can be hard enough to spot on Instagram, especially with the one hundred and one changes the app has gone through in recent weeks.

But according to Cosmo, there's ANOTHER secret inbox that nobody knows about; just like on Facebook Messenger.

All you need to do to access your other inbox is:

Go into your messages, the icon on the top right corner:

 

If you have any secret messages waiting for you, there should be a blue note saying "Message request from" above your list of direct messages:

 

Now, click on the blue note and it will open up a list of your waiting message requests:

When you open these, you can select either to 'decline' if you don't want the person to be able to send you messages in future, or 'allow' if you do.

Doughnuts are possibly one of our favourite treats here in Shemazing! HQ – we honestly can't get enough of them (in moderation, obvz).

And with news that there's actually going to be Annual Doughnut Festival in Dublin, we're happier than ever.

But a new doughnut trove, Treasure Sugar, is after popping up in Drumcondra in Dublin, and they look glorious.

There's a mango and peach one, the ever-popular chocolate and marshmallow and even a BACON maple doughnut. Mmmm…

For now, you can order the doughnuts via email which come in a box of six, however, their shop has yet to open.

We'll take 50 boxes so, thanks.

When Kylie Jenner and rapper Tyga broke up last week, it was no surprise since they're known for being on and off over the course of their relationship.

But now, it really seems that the love birds have called time on their romance.

Tyga was chatting to TMZ and said that he will always "love" Kylie, but "things just didn't work out."

"We're both just focused on our individual lives right now and sometimes things don't work out but I love her," he said.

"People grow and evolve. So everybody should have the opportunity to have love and live they life.

However, in the video Tyga refused to say whether the age difference betweenthem played a part in the break-up and he also wouldn't say whether he thought Rob Kardashian would be a good step-father to his son King Ciaro.

Ah, we don't see an end to this drama anytime soon…

For any fans that are craving One Direction, here is a little mid-hiatus treat.

One Direction will appear on the upcoming episode of Family Guy, and it looks like some laugh.

The lads are camping out in a forest, when Stewie comes across them who tells them a most horrifying story about non-skinny jeans.

The Family Guy animators absolutely nailed the lad's appearance, right down to Harry Styles’s floral-printed blouse and Louis Tomlinson’s sports jacket.
