Nick Grimshaw has certainly been making headlines since being announced as a judge on the forthcoming, newly revamped series of The X Factor.

And now it seems he will also be adding designer to his growing CV: it has emerged that Topman has enlisted the radio DJ's talents for a new capsule collection.

The 30-year-old, who is thus following in the footsteps of his supermodel BFF Kate Moss, let the exciting news slip on Instagram.

Nick posted a picture of a black suede and fringed jacket with a tag attached that read: Nick Grimshaw X Topman. He also included the caption "coming soon".

This isn't the first time Nick has delved into the fashion world, as he is an official ambassador for London Collections: Men along with model David Gandy and musician Tinie Tempah.

Mr Grimshaw has certainly been busy recently; he was spotted in Ibiza just last week along with fellow X Factor judge Rita Ora, as well as Ms Moss. It is believed he was on the Spanish party island working with BBC Radio 1 as part of the Ibiza 2015 festival.

He and Rita have just finished filming the audition stages of the reality TV show singing contest, and evidently took the opportunity to have a spot of down-time in the sun.

We can't wait to see the rest of his Topshop collection, and reckon Nick might even wear a few of the pieces himself once the X Factor live finals kick off.

While we'd all love to claim we're domestic goddesses in the kitchen, sometimes our baking experiences are less successful than we'd like. And by that we mean, there's usually half a bag of flour in our hair, a strong smell of burning and a batch of biscuits in the bin.

Oh, well. At least all those epic baking fails make for good Instagram posts, right?

Next time you're doubting your baking prowess, you can take some consolation in the fact that you're not the first person to drastically underestimate the need for baking powder, or leave that flourless chocolate cake in the oven just a little TOO long.

Here are a few of our favourite #BakingFails from Instagram, Pinterest and beyond…

1. This poor gal who didn't get her measurements quite right…

So my idea of "golfball size" is a little off… #bakingfail cc: @christinatosi

8. And (our favourite)… this Minion cake gone very, very wrong

Could the One Direction lads be set to welcome TWO new babies?

Louis Tomlinson became the first band member to enter impending fatherhood when it was revealed last month that his former flame Briana Jungwirth was expecting their child. Now, Louis' bandmate Liam Payne has spoken about his own desires to start a family… but don't worry, we could be waiting a while.

This week Liam dished some gossip on his own family plans while chatting about Louis' new arrival. "I wanna have kids when, you know, I have the time but at the moment, life's so busy and I wouldn't want to commit to something like that when I haven't got the necessary time for it yet," the 21-year-old told Magic Radio.

Liam has been in a relationship with Sophia Smith for the last two years, and has made no secret of his love and commitment, but it seems he's not ready to take any big steps just yet.

Me and the most beautiful girl in the world 🙂

"That's my careful planning ahead," he joked. "But I'm more, well I'm always known as the dad of One Direction so I'm, you know, trying to plan life carefully."

Just yesterday Louis himself spoke about his baby news during the band's appearance on Good Morning America while promoting their new single, Drag Me Down. "I'm buzzing," he told host Michael Strahan.

First Louis becoming a dad, now Liam talking about it… could Harry and Niall be next to follow suit?

How many times have you gone to work or college – sans make up – after a night on the tiles, only for people to come up and ask "are you okay, you look sick?"

It infuriates us all to say the least! However, it seems that some folk now WANT to look like they've had one too many.

Known as byojaku (sickly) make up and hugely popular in Japan, this particular trend aims to emulate the appearance of being ill.

And there we were for years covering up red, puffy and swollen eyes after a hard night out – when all this time it should have been something we embraced.

This rather unique trend has lately become so popular in Japan that models sporting the sickly look are even being featured on the cover of major glossy magazines.

What's more, tutorials on YouTube on how to perfect your byojaku make up skills have received more than 100,000 views.

The trend concentrates on heavy under-eye bags and redness, along with furrowed brows and pale skin. And the desired result is to appear fragile and doll-like – like you need looking after.

Here's how to achieve the trend (without downing half a bottle of vodka)…

  • Create pale skin by using a green-based concealer and foundation a few shades lighter than your natural skin tone.
  • Fill in your brows with a light brown pencil or eyebrow powder. Draw them straight to achieve the furrowed brow look.
  • Get pink or red lipstick or lip stain and lightly tap on to lips, cheeks and under your eyes.

Forbes magazine has published it's list for the highest paid actors for 2015 so far, and it's not exactly what we expected.

This list sees Robert Downey Jr. being named the highest paid actor for a third year in a row following his work on the Avengers: Age of Ultron which saw him take home a huge €80million.

Jackie Chan came in second on the list after he grossed a very impressive €50million on Dragon Blade and Vin Diesel wasn't far behind with €47million as his earnings for Fast and Furious 7.

For the first time ever the list included international actors as two Bollywood actors feature in joint 7th place.

Others who appear on the list include Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper and Tom Cruise. Here's a full run down of the top 10:

1. Robert Downey Jr

2. Jackie Chan

3. Vin Diesel

4. Bradley Cooper

5. Adam Sandler

6. Tom Cruise

7. Amitabh Bachchan

7. Salman Khan

9. Akshay Kumar

10. Mark Wahlberg

The full list includes 33 actors and newcomers include Seth Rogan and 22 Jump Street actor Jonah Hill.

The magazine has said they will publish the female equivalent  in a few weeks.

In the last year Shonda Rhimes has been getting an awful lot of grief from Grey’s Anatomy fans. If you or anyone in your life was a Grey’s fan, specifically if they were fond of one Dr. McDreamy, then you probably heard all about it.

In the latest season he came to an untimely ending and fans were not happy. Not one bit.

This week Shonda has revealed that she didn’t do it entirely out a need to make her fans cry, well, that’s what she claims anyway.

She explained that with Patrick Dempsey, who played handsome brain surgeon Derek Shepherd for almost 11 years, exiting the show she saw no other way to wrap up his storyline.

"What were the options? Either Der was going to walk out on Mer and leave her high and dry, and what was that going to mean?"

So, instead of breaking Meredith’s heart she decided to go and break the hearts of her millions of viewers instead. Nice Shonda.

"As painful as it was for me as a storyteller, the only way to preserve what felt true to me was Derek was going to have to die for that love to remain honest."

She went on to say that next season will be a “rebirth” of sorts:

"We do have this world in which Meredith is single, and she is living this life that she hadn't thought she was going to be living again.”

To be honest, we hadn’t thought of a world where one of television’s most pivotal couples was going to be ripped away from us either.

We think it tends to be pretty easy to fall into a routine when it comes to your hair. The usual wash, blow-dry and style can become a staple in your daily life without you even giving it a second thought.

The thing is, our daily hair habits could actually be wreaking havoc with your attempts to have a lush, healthy head of hair.

Here’s some of the worst habits that hair stylists really wish we would stop doing. So when you show up at the hairdresser next time just wanting to ‘trim the split ends’, you’ll know why they might be trying to stop themselves rolling their eyes.

Brushing wet hair

Not a good idea apparently. Invest in a wide toothed comb or a Tangle Teezer that won’t pull on the strands and help prevent them from breaking.

Sleeping in a ponytail

Anna Kendrick’s stylist, Johnny Stuntz, explains: “Sleeping in a ponytail causes breakage right at the crown of the head, or wherever the elastic is placed. If you like your hair off your face, sleep in a loose braid off to the side, secured right at the end as loose as you can.”

Towel drying

This roughs up the cuticle. You don’t want that. Closed cuticles will reflect light and make your hair appear smooth and shiny. Bella Thorne’s stylist suggests you should “wring your hair out, moving downwards from root to ends.”

Pulling on split ends

This probably goes without saying but apparently it is still a very common occurrence. Oops. Instead of pulling at split ends, snip them clean off to avoid creating more uneven splits that will be harder to fix.

Too much too close

The man responsible for the locks of Lea Michele and Amy Adams says that spraying products too close to your head means you’re not getting the most out of them, at all. “Give the can a good shake for better product distribution, then extend your spraying arm out all the way and spray away. Aerosol products work best when they’re exposed to air before they reach the head,” says John D.

Be careful where you stop for your morning coffee as you could come face-to-face with an unwelcome furry friend.

International coffee shop chain Caffé Nero has promised an investigation after a horrific video was published of rats running around one of its Irish branches. The coffee shop in question, located in central Belfast, remains shut today with a sign saying it is "closed for essential maintenance."

The footage in question was filmed almost a month ago by a couple walking through Belfast city centre after a night out. In the short video, a number of rats can be seen climbing across one of the coffee machines before the camera pans out to show the store's name.

It is often said that in a busy city you could be anywhere from three to 30 metres away from a rat at all times, and going by this video that distance could be a LOT shorter.

Caffé Nero has its headquarters in England but has over 700 coffee houses worldwide in countries across Europe, the US and the UAE. As well as the Northern Irish branches, Caffé Nero also has four locations in Dublin.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, the 24-year-old man who spotted the pests said he was stunned and felt he had to capture what he saw. "I couldn't believe it in such a well-known brand. I was quite shocked and stunned. That's why I started recording it, because I didn't think anyone would believe it," he explained.

"It was out of the corner of my eye I noticed one rat on the floor and then eventually another one, and I watched them climb up the counter top and in behind the coffee machine. Then I started recording it."

In a response today, a representative for Caffé Nero said an urgent investigation was underway. "This incident has only just been brought to our attention," the spokeswoman said. "We are taking it extremely seriously and will be conducting a thorough investigation as a matter of urgency."

Technology and lots of it!

That’s what one young Irish lad has on the top of his list of things to change if he was given the chance. The possibilities really do seem to be endless for this group of creatives.

A clip by Youth Tuber has revealed what some of Ireland’s kids would most like to change about the world if they were in control. Another says they would want “food, money and houses for everyone”.

The usual chocolate rivers and water parks all over the shop also made appearances. One wise young soul also voiced what the majority of our population would do given the opportunity.

“I’d definitely change the weather, it would be full sun and full snow.”

We couldn’t agree with him more.

The adorable video is just one of many on the channel where Irish kids share their opinions on various topics every week.
