You are probably familiar with the the grumpy cat as he is the face of many hundreds of memes online, but he is about to lose his throne. 

Introducing… Earl the grumpy puppy! This little guy is cute and grumpy in equal amounts and we love him.

Earl, who is a mix between a beagle and a pug, is taking over the face of the grumpy memes and he's only 5 months old.

This pup's picture made it's way to Reddit where some talented folk have turned him into a series of hilarious memes. 

One user thinks he has figured out why he's so grumpy, "I think that expression is in response to being named Earl."

And someone even asked the owner "Have you ever considered that your dog is a reincarnated old man?" which is a very possibly answer to the grumpiness. 

In any case, it looks like the grumpy cat has some serious competition for most grumpy animal on the Internet.. and he doesn't look happy about it.

Chris is usually bulking up for his movie roles, but this time the opposite is true. 

For his new film In the heart of the sea, Chris has to stick to a seriously extreme diet to get down to a very low weight for some scenes.

Along with his co-stars for the movie, Cillian Murphy and Ben Whishaw, the actor is sometimes restricted to only 500 calories a day for three or four weeks. 

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Chris said that during this extreme preparation he spends "more time thinking about food than anything else."

It seems the only thing he currently finds comfort in is the fact that his fellow actors are in the same boat as him when it comes to dieting and he said "it's going to be pretty uncomfortable, but we'll be together in our misery"

This dramatic weight loss is for Chris' latest role in the action film set to come out later this year. The film is about the after-math following a nautical disaster which was the inspiration behind the book and film Moby Dick.

For his previous role in Thor, the 31-year-old had the task of gaining 20 pounds of muslce which he did through "nonstop" eating and serious gymming but this time he attempting the exact opposite. 

When asked what he's going to eat the minute this fasting is finished he answered "all the bad stuff – pizza, hamburgers, ice cream, anything that is not on the menu – is something you have an obsession with!"

There's playing with your food (which obviously your mammy told you to never do), and then there's turning it into something great – a skill one New Yorker has definitely mastered.

Jessie Bearden is a 23-year-old Instagram artist who uses everyday seasonings, sauces and snacks to create incredible portraits of her favourite famous faces. 

What in particular recently caught our eye? A portrait of Caitlyn Jenner, 65, made using Wheaties – the same cereal for which the then Bruce Jenner did promotional work for in the aftermath of the 1976 Olympics.

There is no accessory more sacred than the humble handbag. After all, not only does it look good hanging on your arm, but it also holds endless amounts of essential items… and a few non-essential items too.

He socialises with some of the most successful – not to mention richest – names from the worlds of reality TV and music.

But it seems that rapper Tyga is struggling to keep up with his A-lister lifestyle: he’s behind on his rent… yet again.

The 25-year-old boyfriend of Kylie Jenner – who incidentally just bought and paid-for her own swish €2.45m mansion – should cough up a cool €22,700 a month in rent to his landlord.

For that he gets his own house in the posh Los Angeles enclave of Calabasas, an area which the likes of Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Will Smith, and Justin Bieber, not to mention pretty much the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, all call home.

However, according to TMZ, his landlord now says that Tyga owes him two months’ rent. And if the musician fails to pay in full by Saturday, an eviction order will be issued.

Tyga, real name Michael Stevenson, once lived in the same property with Blac Chyna, his former fiancée and the mother of his two-year-old son, King Cairo. And evidently she's still listed as a resident – because the model has been named as a defendant too.

Sadly, it’s not the first time Tyga has gotten into trouble with a landlord either.

Just last month, the father-of-one was ordered to pay €72,500 in back rent on another Calabasas home.

That property was a seven-bed worth €5.8m and TMZ further claimed that Tyga was in fact in arrears by some €112,500 – but that he was able to negotiate that figure down by €40,000.

Urban Decay is famous for its cult classic beauty products, but their latest offering looks set to top all previous records.

The Naked Smoky eyeshadow palette hits Irish stores on August 6th, and 8,000 cosmetics lovers have already signed up to online and in-store pre-order lists to ensure they don't miss out. Retailing at €46, this is the fifth Naked palette to be created by the iconic beauty brand.

Though all the palettes contain a mix of neutrals and darker shades, the Naked Smoky is the first to be specifically designed for a smoky eye look. So confident are Urban Decay in the new 12-colour combo that they have called it "the key to nailing the most sought-after and elusive eye look ever."

Irish beauty writers and bloggers were treated to a preview of the palette at the official press launch this morning, and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive, with #NakedSmoky currently trending on Twitter in Ireland as a result. 

Blogger Tara O'Farrell showed off a close-up look at the shades on Instagram – the palette contains three old favourites and nine completely new colours.

Dani O'Brien of The Glamour Nazi pulled a signature beauty blogger move and showed off some swatches of the shades, writing "Lads, i can't reiterate this enough – you need this!"

Kim Kardashian West stars in a new short film commercial for Hype energy drinks… and honestly, we're not entirely sure what's going on. 

The advert begins with Kim cycling around in an Audrey Hepburn inspired fringe and high ponytail. Instead of looking at the road while cycling Kim was staring straight at the camera which causes her to fall off the bike and drop the cans of Hype.

Nothing about this video screams energy drink as Kim is lying on the ground out cold and she slips into a day dream, dressed in a Marie Antoinette inspired outfit. 

While in the dream, after a few uncomfortable close-ups of her boobs, Kim awakes from her slumber and drinks some Hype while elegantly dressed wearing a blonde wig. 

For what seems like an eternity, there are shots of Kim in her 18th-century get-up sipping on the advertised drink and staring into the camera.

She eventually wakes up with her huge fringe once again and walks her bike away after giving us a close-up of her huge engagement ring.

Born to west of Ireland parents Thomas and Peggy Gallagher, it’s no surprise that Liam Gallagher swings by every so often for a bit of a break.

What is probably more surprising, however, is that he is so eager to join in on a local Sunday night seisún.

Still, that’s exactly what happened earlier this week, when the former Oasis frontman called into JJ Finan’s pub in the town of Charlestown in Co. Mayo – where his mother grew up.

Delighting town residents present on the evening (one even made sure to shout out “go on, Gallagher!”), a guitar-wielding Liam joined local musicians in one corner of the well-known public house.

In one accompanying video clip later posted online, cups of milky tea can be seen alongside pints on the table in front of Mr Gallagher and his fellow performers.

Excitingly, the same clip appears to show the 42-year-old rocker singing previously unheard solo material. 

Indeed, the song could well contain a reference to his estranged brother Noel, 48, who quit Oasis back in 2009 – five years before the group was eventually disbanded entirely.

The lyrics include the lines: "Yes I know, I've been wrong. Didn't do what I was told. Yes I know, I've been wrong. Didn't do what I was told. I ain't looking for no 9-5. Sick of wasting all my precious time. Cos it's alright. Cos it's alright now."

Noel’s latest solo album, Chasing Yesterday, was released in February, and Liam also sings the lyrics: "When I wake up and I hear you say, there's no love worth chasing yesterday."

Liam had flown into Knock airport – where he was required to take the obligatory ‘Mayo for Sam’ snap – late last week.

On arrival, Liam popped into the local Mace to pick up no fewer than nine bags of Tayto, five bags of Galaxy Minstrels, six Wispa Golds… and some shaving foam.

He also swung by Charlestown GAA club for photos there.

Reports suggest that he remains in the area now, though he intends returning to Britain shortly.

Kylie Jenner is definitely not what you'd call low-maintenance, and last night she showed just how much effort goes into achieving her signature look.

The teenage reality star rarely seen without a full face of make-up these days, and is known for her plump lips, defined brows, heavy eye make-up and contoured cheekbones. In a series of videos posted to Snapchat last night, Kylie showed a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get her red-carpet ready… or in this case, shopping-trip ready.

Two members of her glam squad can be seen in the videos, one perfecting her contouring and another working on her face. You can see how different shades of highlighter, bronzer and foundation are used to create the perfect contours along the cheekbones and jawline:

Later in the video, dark powder is brushed along Kylie's hairline to minimize her forehead, a common contouring trick which is also a favourite of Kylie's stepsister Kim.

The 17-year-old then gave fans a look at the finished product while her glam team applied some final touches.

And what would be Kylie's Snapchat without a classic full-length selfie?

The teen posed in a black crop top and flares before heading out for a day with older sister Kendall in downtown Los Angeles.

Pictured later in the day out and about, you'd never know Kylie's look was the work of a team of stylists and hours of preparation…

The hugely anticipated docu-series I Am Cait had its American premiere earlier this week on E!, but the show hasn't received as many positive reactions as were expected. 

It seems like we have been waiting a LONG time for this series to air; certainly, it has been hugely publicised since Caitlyn underwent gender transitioning earlier this year. 

Even with all the hype the show received, viewing figures were not as high as the show producers had expected – and some of the reviews have so far been far from positive. 

The first episode brought in around 2.7million viewers, which is just above what Keeping Up With The Kardashians usually brings in, but is still well under what was expected.

These numbers are compared to a huge 17million who tuned in to watch Caitlyn's interview with Diane Sawyer and 8million who watched her ESPY's acceptance speech. 

Furthermore, many viewers felt it was staged and scripted rather than being true 'reality' TV. 

The New York Times reported that "there’s no reason to doubt Ms Jenner’s sincerity when she cites statistics about suicide among transgender teenagers or consoles a grieving parent, but you also can’t help noticing how she seems to be reading from a script.”

Vulture.com was also dismissive, saying "each scene felt as choreographed as a ballet, as deftly applied as the hair extensions we see Kylie and Cait giggle over: Fake, but fake for our behalf."

The programme will air on August 2 in Ireland.

Just a few weeks after the announcement that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are divorcing, it is now being reported that Ben is dating a new woman.

And not just any woman, either – the family nanny too. 

Yes, the 42-year-old is seemingly to be dating their children's minder, who was hired in the last year to look after the couple's two daughters and a son.

Christine Ouzounian is from California and is employed by a high-end nanny service in the Beverly Hills area. 

US Weekly says that, according to sources close to Ben and Jennifer, Christine was hired to look after Violet, Seraphina and Samual during the couple's trial separation period – a period which is said to have lasted around ten months. 

A friend of Christine's told Us Weekly that with Jennifer away filming, the 28-year-old was often left alone with Ben: "They would hang out with the kids and they were very flirty," the source claimed.

And it has been reported that the nanny was fired from the job when Jennifer sensed there was something going on with her and Ben. 

Still, it is alleged that Ben feels terrible about the whole situation, and has remained in constant contact with his younger friend.

His representatives have already dismissed the rumours as "garbage".

It is almost a month since Hollywood stars Ben and Jen announced the end of their ten year marriage, although the pair have both been spotted out and about still wearing their wedding rings.
