Is it just us or does everyone find it completely enraging when you’re swapping messages with Zac Efron on Tinder and then realise, ‘doesn’t Zac have a model girlfriend right now?’

It’s number one on our list of daily annoyances. However, the good folks at Tinder are set to make this a problem of the past. Thank goodness!

Tinder is now introducing a new verification for notable people. That little blue check mark that lets you know you are officially reading Miley’s tweets is now going to be made available on Tinder too.

 

In a blog post for the app it said:

“Each day, 26 million matches are made on Tinder, and we do our best to keep those matches real –  that’s why we’re rolling out Verified Profiles,"

How thoughtful of them. We bet Hilary Duff probably would have made use of this not too long ago.

As of right now, the verification process isn’t available. So all of you will have to wait in anticipation before you go ensuring the powers that be at Tinder can make sure you’re actually swapping numbers with Drake and not some knock off reading inspirational quote from Pinterest.

In the same post Tinder stated that “you may see a verified symbol on some profiles. Now when notable public figures, celebrities and athletes appear in your recommendations, you’ll know it’s for real."

Great news! Because I’ve always wanted to know if that was the real Nick Jonas I matched with four months ago or not.

We’re also just really nosey and are looking forward to the screenshots of professional athletes attempting to woo some lucky ladies with their witty one liners.

This should be very entertaining.

A new trend has begun in the #FreeTheNipple social media campaign – and it is hilarious.

Nipple activists are highlighting the gender inequalities that surround the controversial body part.

Seen as men our allowed to be topless on sites such as Instagram and Facebook but women are not, social media users have taken to covering pictures of women’s nipples with… Male nipples!

The idea originally came from Micol Hebron of the USA last year when he created an “acceptable male nipple template.”

And since musicians Our Lady J and La Sera have shared his post on their Facebook pages, the campaign has gone viral.

The template allows women to resize a picture of a male nipple to adequately cover their own, thus making them fit for social media… We’re actually serious.

The music artists have joined a long list of celebrities ranging from Miley Cyrus to Rihanna and Chrissy Teigen who are all for freeing the nipple.

We just can’t wait to see how Instagram are going to deal with this one!

Cindy Crawford is opening up about the death of her brother, Jeff when he had only turned three.

The supermodel, 49, said that when she was growing up she always knew her dad wanted to have a little boy. His delight at having Jeff was unfortunately cut short we he lost his battle with leukaemia.

Cindy, who was 8 at the time her brother was diagnosed, said that at the time she didn’t really understand what was wrong.

“I think when my parents first told us that my brother was sick, we didn’t really understand what it meant,” she said when she sat down to be interviewed for Oprah’s Master Class.

Jeff received a grim prognosis and Cindy’s parents signed him up for an experimental treatment programme. The entire family would make the 4 hour journey to the hospital from their home almost daily.

In the interview Cindy says she didn’t really understand what was happening as she had never before had any experience of someone close to her dying. According to Cindy however, Jeff did know.

She recalls a story her mother told her of finding Jeff preparing for what would happen when he died.

“She said, ‘What are you doing?’ And he said, ‘I’m praying.’ And she said, ‘What are you praying about?’ He said, ‘So that when I die, you’ll be OK.”

When Jeff was 3, he was supposed to return to the hospital for more treatments after Christmas, Cindy remembers how he refused to go back to the hospital.

According to Cindy “the day that he was supposed to go back to the hospital, that’s the day he died.”

She says that knowing her brother had decided he was done fighting his illness brings her “some sense of completeness and peace.”

There’s also the fact that her make up team are legit the best in business, so you know there’s going to be some serious good tutorials coming our way.

Kylie already has her own line of hair extensions, Kylie Hair Kouture. Which must be doing well seeing as she’s making enough to be financially independent of mom Kris. Also, she did just buy that multimillion dollar mansion in Calabasas.

YouTube already has over 150,000 tutorials to help you achieve that coveted Kylie look. So we imagine the original selfie queen will attract a pretty big audience.

We think it’s about time she started sharing those extra special Kardashian glam squad secrets with the rest of us.

Sure we’ve had Rumer Willis and Demi Moore, even Ruby Rose and Justin Bieber. But now there are new twins taking over – David Beckham and… Kevin Hart?

The unlikely duo have teamed up for H&M’s new fashion campaign. And the result is incredible.

While the campaign has yet to be officially released, both David and Kevin having been giving fans brief glimpses into their hilarious shoot for Mr Beckham’s new range, Modern Essentials by David Beckham.

For the past few days, Victoria Beckham’s husband and the 36-year-old comedian have been posting photos of themselves #twinning and wearing matching outfits.

Last Wednesday some lucky commuters were treated to a more unusual weekday experience at Heuston station than what we normally expect. Clayton Hotels were one hand to make it a trip to remember for a number of travellers.

Normally when we think of dragging ourselves onto a busy train platform we’re thinking heavy luggage, soggy sandwiches and less than impressive bottles of warm 7up.

Not the best combination when you’re facing into a packed journey down the country, or a standing room only trip to Galway feeling less than your best on a Friday evening.

Instead, commuters were treated to the chance to win a free getaway if they made a lucky swipe with their key cards in the replica luxury bedroom.

The winning announcement was accompanied by a four piece brass band, champagne and strawberries served on a lavish looking bed.

It took 20 people swiping their cards before the first lucky winner was revealed. After that, the queues just got longer and longer.

Not surprising really, considering a fake luxury hotel room is the last thing you expect to see in the middle of a crowded Heuston station of a Wednesday.

The giveaways were part of Clayton Hotels celebrating their new newly refurbished hotels in 13 locations around the country. We're sure these lucky commuters were feeling very grateful after their surprise win.

We thought that normal Oreos were pretty great all by themselves. But then they introduced not just double stuffed, but mega stuffed versions. Oh, and the red velvet cake flavour, and the peanut butter flavour.

Any new type of Oreo announcement is generally enough to whip any snack food enthusiasts into a frenzy.

However, their latest announcement has got people reacting for all the wrong reasons. They’re maker Oreos smaller. Why!?

Speaking to the Associated Press, a senior director for the Mondelez International company said:

“They’re for adults, Oreo says they weren’t designed to be twisted open or dunked. That’s even though about half of customers pull apart regular Oreos before eating them, according to the company.”

So, not only are they taking away all of our fun, but they’re also making our snack time go-to smaller? Wtf Oreos? We are displeased. As are many others on the internet apparently.Some going to so far as to say Oreo Thins are promoting unrealistic standards for biscuit body image. We're not even kidding, this is a very serious issue.

It got us thinking about some of the changers our favourite foods have undergone, and how these changes have upset us, such as:

The great Freddo price increase.

The travesty that was reduced size Dairy Milk

The tearful goodbye to Big Time bars

The Fat Frog disappearance. 

The fact that penny sweets are simply no more. 5c for a fried egg? No thank you!

The short-lived joy that was entire bowls of food colouring and sugar for breakfast before Lucky Charms were ripped from us.

Why must they take everything we love!?

They’ve only been together for a few months but apparently these two love birds are already talking about marriage.

Taylor Swift, 25, and Calvin Harris, 31 (aka Taylvin), met and got together in February and have since been showcasing their loved-up status as a twosome all over social media.

Taylor’s celebrity filled party last weekend seemed to be just another excuse for her and beau, and her beau’s abs, to appear on our Instagram feeds seeming completely smitten.

According to Reveal magazine the two are taking their relationship to the next level by planning their future together.

A source told the publication that despite being worth a total of €130m, neither wants to sign a prenuptial agreement, but they are at least happy to talk honeymoons.

Apparently the two are big adventure seekers, as the source said they “would love to take a camper van and disappear either in Europe or North America for a while."

They’ve also apparently been discussing serious details about the Big Day. Taylor apparently “would love a big wedding at home but she loved Scotland and could be persuaded to do it there, especially as her family can travel more than his extended family can."

Things certainly seems to be escalating rather quickly for the pair.

There are reports, however, that Taylor’s family may not be so on-board with her not wishing to sign a pre-nup (fair enough really – she's worth at least twice what he is).

Taylvin have even just recently surpassed megastars Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the world’s most powerful couple.

The source says that Tay-Tay and Mr Harris both “know what they want from the future” so apparently “pre-nups and marriage came up in the conversation almost straight away”.

There hasn’t been any comment from reps for either of the stars on the story, so maybe we might be getting our hopes up; but could you imagine the invite list for that wedding?

The trend #CANCELYOURENGAGEMENTZAYN started trending earlier this afternoon, and has been growing rapidly since.

Ever since former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Perrie Edwards of Little Mix fame got engaged in 2013, the former's fans have taken to social media to voice their unease.

We thought we had seen the height of their dedication when the 100 days since Zayn left trend went viral. This is taking it to new extremes, however, and some fans are not too pleased with the trend taking over.

The couple have been in no rush to walk down the aisle since their engagement, and Perrie has recently said that all of the questions about her future wedding were starting to get on her nerves.

In an interview with Capital FM she said: "I am sick of getting asked when is the wedding, when is the wedding? I'll get married when I am bloody ready! Amen!"

Meanwhile, Zayn has credited their busy working schedules with keeping them from walking down the aisle already, last year he said that “we’re just kind of engaged, we just haven’t had time to organise things like that.”

Well, if the nearly 100,000 tweets are supposed to cause a change of heart from Zayn, it doesn’t look like the wedding will be happening. Ever.

Ok so TG Lurgan are responsible for giving us some serious FOMO, again.

Not only do they seem to have the absolute best paint parties on the beach, but we do not remember our Irish college discos ending up producing these musical gems.

Their cover of Avicii’s Wake Me Up was a huge hit that even got the group on the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy.

Then, their recent cover of See You Again gave us all of the feels. Now they’ve done it again.

Earlier today their version of Cheerleader (as Gaeilge of course) was uploaded to their YouTube channel. We can’t lie, we’ve been listening to it ever since.

To be honest, we’re thinking that if these were the kind of musical activities offered up when we were packing our finest fashions for three weeks in the Gaeltacht we would have been an awful lot more enthusiastic.

It looks like there may be trouble in paradise for Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby and her beau Mitch Jenkins.

The on/off again couple reunited earlier this year after five months apart. While the 25-year-old Geordie had big plans to move in with Mitch, she has admitted that she might not go through with it… Something that she has yet to tell him herself!

“I’m going to put it on hold – but I haven’t told Mitch yet,” the former CBB winner revealed.

“I’m not sure if I want to move my life down south. I have no one down there, as all my family and friends are up north," she told Star Magazine. 

The news comes after Charlotte had revealed that they had begun house hunting together.

The reality TV star admitted that things aren’t the best in their relationship at the moment.

“We need to spend some proper time together to be able to say things are amazing, but it’s fine.”

It seemed that the once troubled reality TV star had finally found happiness when she married her third husband, former rugby player and bouncer George Kay.

The couple welcomed a daughter, DJ, in April last year and were married in September. 

Kerry Katona would also take to Twitter to enthuse about her beau, with him regularly returning the favour with an equally public declaration of affection.

Indeed, just last month, George, Kerry and Kerry's first husband, Brian McFadden, gushed warmly about one another on the social networking site. 

However, it is now being reported that Ms Katona, 34, has kicked Mr Kay out of the home they share with their daughter, as well as Kerry's four other children from her previous two marriages.

The Sun reports that she has "had enough" of her husband's "partying, going missing and failing to support her and the family". 

A source told the newspaper: "George's party lifestyle doesn't suit Kerry. He has been going missing regularly and Kerry has said she has had enough."

They added: "She says she feels like she is putting her own kids through what she went through when she was younger with her mum and a string of bad men."

In an interview with Closer magazine in May, 34-year-old George admitted: "It's been tough lately. We've been rowing a lot. Marriage isn't what I thought it would be to be honest."

He added: "There have been times I've thought we might not last. In my darkest moments I've wondered if we should even be together."
