The Irish woman killed in today's terrorist attack in Tunisia has been named locally as Lorna Carty.

Ms Carty, a mother-of-two, was holidaying with her husband, Declan, in the popular seaside town of Sousse. Her husband, who is not believed to have been with her at the time of the attack, contacted the Department of Foreign Affairs dedicated support line today, according to TheJournal.ie.

A nurse from Robbinstown, Co Meath, Ms Carty was heavily involved with her local GAA club in Dunderry. Her son Simon is also currently on the Meath Senior Football panel. This weekend's Dunderry club games have been cancelled as a mark of respect, local radio station LMFM reports.

A statement from Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan this evening confirmed Ms Carty's death, with the Minister offering his “heartfelt condolences” to her family and loved ones. He also said he could not exclude other Irish injuries or deaths yet.

“Our focus is on establishing whether any other citizens have been killed or injured,” he added.

Today's attack, which began at around noon, took place at a beach near two busy hotels in Sousse, one of which has been named as the Imperial Marhaba.

At least five British citizens were also included in the 37 deaths today, with officials warning the toll could yet rise.

Any Irish citizens with concerns about today's incident are advised to call the Consular Support Line on 01 418 0200.

It's been a huge day in American history, with the US Supreme Court ruling that states can no longer ban same sex-marriage. In effect, gay marriage has now been legalised all over the US, something LGBT campaigners have fought for for years.

One person who is definitely excited about the good news is Girls creator and star Lena Dunham.

Although she is not in a same-sex relationship, the actress has spoken out openly in support of marriage equality many times, and even famously said that she and her boyfriend Jack Antonoff would not wed until it was legal for everyone else to do the same.

"The idea of having a celebration that can't be fully shared among all the people in my life and all the people that we love just doesn't really feel like a celebration at all," she explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year.

And after today's landmark ruling, it seems the actress doesn't want to wait a minute longer to tie the knot:

Subtle as a brick, Lena.

The actress also took the opportunity to tell her fellow citizens not to stand down in their fight for equality in all parts of life. "Let's use this victory as a reminder to keep pushing for equality on every frontier. We have the power!" she wrote.

The issue of LGBT marriage is one that's close to home for Lena, as her younger sister Grace came out at the age of 17. Lena described the moment as a "huge turning point for me in my understanding of the issues facing LGBTQ people."

We bet there will be celebrations in the Dunham house this evening!

Radio presenter, rugby pundit and now, erotic novelist. All in a day’s work for a certain George Hook. Yes, you did read that correctly. Move over E.L James, there’s a new best-selling erotica aficionado in town… almost.

George Hook, 72-year old host of The Right Hook has revealed that he has a large portion of his upcoming erotic novel written, but that it won't be as raunchy as some might expect.

When asked if it was comparable with the record breaking Fifty Shades trilogy, he said his work will be "more Tolstoy than EL James" adding, "First of all it’s well written – it has full stops, commas, and paragraphs."

The news of George’s fascination with the world of erotic literature came about after a discussion regarding fan fiction on his radio show last week. A fan of The Good Wife, George joked he would love to collaborate with his guest on an erotic fan fiction inspired by the show.

“The Further Adventures of Kalinda. I can describe her, the thigh high boots, the six inch heels, the fact that she is of a rather voracious sexual nature.”

Sounds charming.  His latest foray into the writing world contains a slightly more original tale of a young Polish girl “despoiled” by German soldiers during World War II. But could you imagine the audiobook?

This is not the first time George has tried to charm his way into the world of erotic fiction. In 2007 he had written ten chapters of a chick-lit book. Unfortunately for us all, it was rejected by publishers.

The book followed a blonde heroine who had “screwed her way across Ireland,” and somehow found herself brain damaged and sent to the Middle East.

“She’s gorgeous, she’s clever, tough as nails, with a wonderful chest. She’s the kind of woman I’ve always wanted to fall in love with.”

Sounds like George may have been planning for a film adaptation starring his celebrity crush Pamela Anderson. George has been crushing on the former Baywatch babe for quite some time now.

There’s no official dates coming in as of yet regarding the publication of George’s great masterpiece, so we have some time to ready ourselves.

Jimmy Fallon is reportedly in hospital today in New York following a night out on the town with some fans.

Following a taping of the Tonight Show on Thursday Jimmy, 40, got dinner in Scalinatella on the Upper East Side neighbourhood of Manhattan.

He was spotted by a group of fans and happily posed for photos with them inside the restaurant. A restaurant worker has said to the New York Daily News that the talk show host appeared "fine" on Thursday night.

A photo posted by Ilene (@ilene29) on

In the photos, shared by the fans on Instagram, Jimmy is seen being his usual goofy self, looking smiling and perfectly healthy.

According to TMZ, the talk-show host is being treated in ICU. However, it hasn’t yet been confirmed what it is that Jimmy is being treated for.

Sources are saying that Jimmy has checked himself into the hospital.

Meanwhile in a message to fans on Twitter, the Tonight Show have downplayed the accident and said it was an injury to his hand that had Jimmy checking into the hospital.

Perhaps it was a delayed injury from playing ‘Headshots’ with Mark Wahlberg, a game in which contestants throw things at each other’s heads? Or it could be stress-related, as Jimmy is not just busy with his talk show these days, he's also in the middle of a promotional tour of his new children’s book Dada.

All going well, a new episode of his show will likely tape on Monday and be aired the same day.

We’re all hoping the TV star has a speedy recovery!

The docu-series I Am Cait which follows Caitlyn Jenner on her journey as a transgender is set to air in the US on July 26.

Following the release of a teaser trailer a few weeks ago, another trailer has today been unveiled on E!. It can also be seen on the I Am Cait twitter account

The clip begins with the question: “why did I decide to do a series?” It then goes on to show shots of Caitlyn wearing gorgeous gowns… and WOW does she look incredible.

"We're going to talk about everything," she promises. "We're going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We're going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle – because girls do that too!"

In the emotional footage, the 65-year-old former Olympian says “people don’t understand, looking into the mirror and nothing seems right” and she then goes on to explain how this is her time and she hopes her journey will help others too.

The only family member we could spot in this video was daughter, Kylie, 17: there is a clip of the pair hugging and it looks like she is even trying out some of Kylie’s trademark teal hair extensions.

According to Eonline.com, the series shows Caitlyn keeping up several Jenner-Kardashian family traditions, including a day spent with her kids.

“It’s going to be quite a journey, we are going to do some good,” she concludes.

Rejoice! One recent poll has revealed that 100 percent of us Irish ladies (that's all of us, allegedly) think less of a man who can’t light the BBQ when the time comes.

We honestly don’t care that there’s only one weekend in the year where the grill can actually be dusted off and put to good use; we still appreciate a man who’s prepared for any and all food cravings. It’s not that difficult, lads!

In a shock turn of events, the smouldering Christian Grey himself has been tossed aside as 37 percent of the country’s women would much rather share a BBQ evening with funny man Chris O’Dowd.

Well, you can’t deny Chris would be better banter; Christian meanwhile would be too busy fantasising about braiding our hair.

It’s furthermore been discovered that stunner Georgia Salpa is the lovely lady Irish men wouldn’t mind toasting marshmallows alongside. Someone should probably let the lads know that Greek salad could be a winner there, so maybe lay off the hot-dog innuendos.

The poll, conducted by Iceland, confirms that women really do appreciate the more traditional BBQ-loving man who isn’t afraid to take charge of firing up the grill.

So those hipster guys with their kale smoothies and flammable scarfs can sit themselves back on their yoga mats, thanks all the same.

Interestingly, nine out of ten of those asked said that the women of the household are more likely to be in charge of the side-dishes during BBQ season.

And almost half of the population also admit that they’ve thrown a few more unusual items on the barbie: popcorn being one, alongside Mars bars.

If you do fancy branching out this sunny season and expanding your foodie horizons, definitely take a trip to your local Iceland.

They’ve gone ‘wild’ this summer and are launching a range of speciality meat for all your BBQ needs. Sorry Skippy, but kangaroo is an option. So is crocodile, swordfish and wild boar.

We’re feeling a Bear Grylls vibe coming on…

We all love a good bargain, but sometimes it can be hard to tell if you're actually getting good value for that budget-priced item.

Clumpy mascara, fading lipstick… there's no point in paying less if you'll use it once and throw it away. With that in mind, we've rounded up five beauty essentials under a tenner that are actually worth spending your last few quid on.

So skip that morning latte and pick yourself up one of these star buys. You won't regret it…

1. The contouring kit
Two-in-one kits are great for holiday and festival packing, and we love SEVENTEEN's budget offering. Define your cheekbones and jawline with the darker powder, and highlight with the lighter one. Sorted.

SEVENTEEN Define & Conquer, €6.99

2. The lip stain
Low-priced lipsticks can be very hit-or-miss, so if you're looking to pay less for a lip colour we'd recommend a stain like Wet N Wild's Megaslick Balm Stains, as they're easy to apply but have the staying power of a lipstick. And at this price, you may as well buy two…

Wet N Wild Megaslicks Balm, €3.99

3. The mascara
Nothing's worse than applying mascara only to find it flaked under your eyes an hour later, so choose wisely when picking a low-priced mascara. This Essence one offers maximum volume and will stay put too with no clumping.

Essence Princess Volume Mascara, €4.09

4. The brow definer
L'Oréal's Brow Artiste pencil is probably the best multi-purpose brow product on the market for under a tenner. With a coloured pencil at one end, a pigmented wax on the other and a bristled brush on the cap, you'll have perfectly shaped brows in seconds.

L'Oréal Paris Brow Artiste Eyebrow Pencil, €8.49

5. The gel liner
Catrice's gel liner pot is already something of a cult product, and we can see why. The heavily pigmented gel offers total precision. The only downfall? A brush is not included, but you can pick one up for a couple of euro and still consider this purchase a bargain.

Catrice Gel Eyeliner, €4.49

Kylie Jenner and her rapper boyfriend Tyga have been enjoying a working holiday in Europe over the last few days, but their trip came to a nasty end last night when a disagreement in a Swiss club got out of hand.

After leaving Cannes yesterday, where Kylie, Tyga, her mum Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian had been making a sponsored appearance for Mail Online, the pair flew onward to Switzerland for a short visit.

Tyga was due to make an appearance at Envogue club in the Swiss city of Geneva, last night, but TMZ is reporting that the club owners were far from happy with his performance.

The rapper reportedly showed up hours late with Kylie and his entourage, and played for just ten minutes rather than the hour he was scheduled in for.

When the star couple attempted to leave the club shortly after 4am with their bodyguards, the club owner quickly followed after them. Their disagreement soon escalated into violence, with one of the owner's "posse" pulling a gun on Tyga as he ran for his car.

Thankfully nobody was hurt in the incident and the couple escaped without harm, but that didn't stop Tyga from taking to social media this afternoon to set the record straight. "My Switzerland fans know whenever I show up I perform. I appreciate everybody that came out yesterday," he began.

"Sum Club owners just think they own u just Kuz they pay u to come to they lil club for a hr…I ain't nobody slave. Don't harrass me and my people when we tryna chill n shit," he added.

He then hit back at those who tried to "tarnish" his brand by asking too much of him.

There's been no word from Kylie yet, but we reckon she'll be staying away from Swiss nightclubs for a while…

An Irish woman in her 50s is feared among the 28 dead following a terrorist attack in Tunisia today.

The death is yet to be confirmed officially, but RTE is reporting that she is from Meath.

Her husband, who was holidaying with her, has already been in touch with authorities in Ireland, according to thejournal.ie, which cites Fine Gael TD Ray Butler's constituency office as its source.

Sundayworld.com carries quotes from Ray Butler, who says he has spoken to the woman's husband. "He is absolutely distraught," the politician stated. “This was the hardest phone call I’ve ever taken. My heart goes out to the family who are enduring unthinkable grief.”

Local radio in Meath has also reported the death.

Today's attack, which began at around noon, took place at two busy hotels in the popular seaside resort town of Sousse.

Abbeytravel.ie, Budgettravel.ie and Sunway.ie all offer packages to the area from Irish airports.

As well as the 28 fatalities, another 36 are believed to be injured, according to Tunisian national television. The dead are said to include tourists from Britain, Germany and Belgium.

Witnesses to the attack have been expressing their fear and astonishment via social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.

So far, no organisation has claimed responsibility for the incident. However, the region is hugely popular with European sun-seekers and boasts numerous nightclubs and bars – something which Islamist jihadists condemn.

Tourism is a major source of income for the Tunisian government, and the country is widely viewed as the most liberal in the region.

Still, in March, a terrorist attack at the famed Bardo National Museum in central Tunis killed some 24 people – including four Italian tourists, three French and one Briton. Many others were injured.

It is no secret that certain types of tea can have huge health benefits.

But what you may not have known is the positive impact that various types of tea can have on your skin.

Certain types of teas can even be used to help treat specific skin disorders, including eczema and acne. Tea is full of polyphenols which are molecules that have antioxidant properties. These can help to keep your skin hydrated, restore sun-damage, and to help reduce inflammation.

Here are a few different types of herbal teas and the skin ailments that they can help.

Green tea

While it is still vital that we wear SPF 30 whenever we are directly in the sun, it has been reported that green tea can in fact help reduce the risk of skin cancer caused by sun damage. The antioxidants that are in green tea are associated with decreasing inflammation of the skin cells. It is this inflammation that contributes to the aging of the skin. Green tea can also help to protect the skin from sunburn and UV damage.

Rooibos

This is a caffeine-free red tea that contains anti-inflammatory ingredients. Rooibos contains flavonoids which have been linked to helping to treat skin conditions such as acne or rosacea.

Chamomile

Out of all the teas, chamomile is the most widely renowned for possessing skin-healing qualities. The soothing tea contains flavonoids that can help to relieve skin conditions such as dry, patchy skin as well as acne.

Yerba Maté

Yerba maté is the optimum tea to prevent skin from ageing. It has loads of antioxidants that can help to prevent and repair skin damage. It is also full of caffeine so this is definitely more of a morning tea than a night time one. It is also great to treat ailments such as fatigue, appetite control and weakened immune systems.
