Tulisa Contostavlos has opened up about the toll her recent trial took on her life in the tell-all documentary ‘Tulisa: The Price of Fame’, which will be aired tonight at 10pm on BBC Three.

In a clip, Tulisa reveals that at one point, she had attempted to commit suicide: “So like an idiot I don’t know what I was thinking, I picked up painkillers and necked them with a bottle of vodka, I don’t even know what I was planning to do.”

When asked if she had been planning on taking her own life she replied: “Yeah, I am being honest. I don’t care. Yeah.”

Luckily, the star’s personal assistant Gareth Valley called an ambulance, and while she refused to go to hospital, medics stayed with her until she was definitely going to be ok.

We can’t help but feel sorry for Tulisa, it can’t be easy being accused of something you didn’t do, and judging by what she’s done to her face it’s obviously taken a toll on her confidence. We hope she’s back to her best soon!

New research published in the Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, has found that people who suffer from a vitamin D deficiency, are twice as likely to be diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Scientists found that 65% of participants who were schizophrenic, were also deficient in Vitamin D.

Schizophrenia is more common in countries with cold climates, as the skin produces Vitamin D after exposure to sunlight.

Dr Ahmad Esmaillzadeh, one of the research authors said: “Our findings support the theory that vitamin D may have a significant impact on psychiatric health. More research is needed to determine how the growing problem of vitamin D deficiency may be affecting our overall health.”

You can get your vitamin D from exposure to sunlight, supplements and foods such as cod liver oil, fish and eggs.

We’ve just fallen that little bit more in love with Jessica Alba!

The actress was at a Comic Con signing in Las Vegas yesterday for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For with her co-stars Josh Brolin and Rosario Dawson.

The actress clearly had a busy day as she posted a snap to her Instagram from her hotel with the caption “pooped”.

Australian police have launched an internal investigation after singer Lily Allen posted a snap of herself being handcuffed!

Uh oh!

Lily, who has been touring Australia, landed at Gold Coast Airport in Queensland ahead of her appearance at the Splendour In The Grass festival on Sunday, where she was greeted by a handful of fans and a number of Federal Police officers.

The officers agreed to Lily’s request to be put in handcuffs as she knelt down – and an aide took a photograph. 

The singer posted it on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, but the image has since been removed.

An AFP spokesman said, “It appears the members involved were caught in the moment and standard protocol were breached. It is subject to internal processes.”

The 29-year-old gained more than 7,700 likes for the image on Instagram before it was taken down.

Sounds serious! Let’s hope they can see the funny side of it in the end!

One Direction star Liam Payne seems to have lost ALL of his clothes.

Oh dear…

Liam posted a snap on Instagram – minus his pants – taken on the back of a pretty fancy looking boat.

The singer captioned the snap, “Damn that was my last pair.”

What a shame!

Thankfully (erm…or not), the picture was pixelated to hide save Liam’s modesty.

1D have just finished the European leg of their Where We Are tour and it seems like Liam is keen to get in some well-deserved relaxation… in the nip!

Demi Lovato has had the chop – and we LOVE it!

Posting shots of her choppy new layered hairdo on her Instagram, the star captioned the picture, 'Just went shorter!' 

Hairdresser Riawna Capri said that the change of style was a 'spontaneous decision' from the singer. 

“It was definitely not planned. [Demi's] flying out today, and wanted it before she left,” she said.

Apparently, the former X Factor USA judge was inspired by another ex-reality show star's hair. 

“Demi loved the texture of Julianne Hough's old haircut,” Capri revealed. “She wanted to recreate that texture on her.”

The hairdresser went on to explain the new cut is shorter on one side than the other 'by about three inches,' describing the style as 'perfectly dishevelled hair.'

And it seems that Demi was delighted with her new look. 

“She was so pumped, she loved it,” said Capri. 

And we love it too!

It’s no secret that Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole don’t exactly see eye to eye!

But now Louis insists that their feud is over, and it looks like her new hubby might have something to do with it!

Cheryl is said to have fought with Simon Cowell over having Louis return to The X Factor, and even said in an interview on The Graham Norton Show that they didn’t get on. 

But now Louis said those days are all behind them.

“We’re getting on really well now,” Louis said.

Louis said that Cheryl’s hubby Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini is a “good influence” on his fellow X Factor judge.

“He seems to be a very good influence on her. She seems to have calmed down a lot and seems really happy with her life,” Louis said. “He’s a nice guy.”

Jean Bernard had even tried to teach Louis French over dinner, X Factor producer Mark Sidaway revealed.

“Met him at the Newcastle auditions. Top fella. We shared a Chinese take away as he tried to teach Louis French,” he wrote on Twitter.

Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger said she feels “powerless” after a sex tape with her ex was leaked.

The reality TV star is shocked that a graphic six-second clip showing her performing an intimate act on her ex-boyfriend, property developer, Jake McLean, 24, has gone viral.

The 28-year-old said she trusted her ex-boyfriend totally, even though the footage was apparently taken secretly on his phone and has been spread through Whatsapp and email.

The couple split last December after a number of rows.

“It is mortifying and humiliating. I’ve got no control over the situation I am in. I feel powerless,” Lauren said.

“My private life has been invaded in the most horrible way. I can even see how some girls would feel suicidal and not be able to cope in this situation.

“I don’t know if Jake was behind it. I am angry with him and have confronted him about it but it has not got me anywhere. He’s been texting me saying he’s sorry,” she added.

What a nightmare!

Kylie Jenner was trending on Twitter yesterday – but for all the wrong reasons!

Following an appearance at a public event, Kylie was slammed by fans who called her “rude” and a “right b*tch!”

The reality TV star and her sister Kendall were promoting their latest PacSun clothing range in Dallas, Texas but fans were not impressed with her attitude.

One Twitter user wrote, ”Yessss! They were so pretty! Kylie was kinda rude but Kendall was super nice. You couldn’t take pictures though :(“

Another wrote, ”Kendall was nice! But Kylie didn’t say anything. she made eye contact with me twice and just starred at me like I felt offended tbh but I don’t know(sic).”

One fan said she was “heartbroken” after Kylie snubbed her.

“Kendall smiled at me, but Kylie looked me up and down and sneered! Heartbroken!” she said.

Another tweeted that Kylie seemed like a “right b*tch!”

OK, but maybe she was just having a bad day guys!

It seems that nobody is immune to break-up woes – even models and rugby stars.

Dublin model Holly Carpenter and Irish rugby ace Cian Healy have apparently called time on their relationship.

The couple had been dating for over two years after meeting at a community demonstration in Dublin in November 2011.

The split is said to have come as a big surprise to friends as the couple have an adopted dog together – a little pug called Teddy.

So sad!

Holly is said to have already booked a holiday to Spain with a model pal Jayne Higgins, who took part in the Miss Ireland finals last weekend. Holly won the title in 2011.

Well, let’s hope a girlie holiday will take her mind off the split!
