There are many reasons people are looking for alternatives to cow's milk on the market right now.

Whatever your reason to cut back on dairy – here are some alternatives you can try out!

Most of these milk alternatives will be widely available in supermarkets in Ireland now but if not then your local health food store is a safe bet!

Many milk alternatives can have sugar added so always try to find ‘unsweetened’ varieties to protect your teeth!

1. Almond milk
Almond milk is always a safe bet as it has a really lovely nutty flavour that is great in coffee, porridge, cereal etc. It’s not as rich as regular milk but you’ll soon crave the great aroma is adds to your food!

2. Coconut milk
No, not the canned variety. This coconut milk is more watery and perfect for your dairy-free baking and dessert making! It also tasted great in coffee in you like a coconutty-flavour.

3. Rice milk
Rice milk is said to be the least fattening of milks so if weight loss is what you are after then this is for you! Rice milk is also the best hypo-allergic of milks and has a lovely sweet flavour you’ll enjoy in your coffee or breakfast.

4. Soy milk
Soy milk can be the best of the alternatives to use in savoury dishes as it has a very undistinguishable flavour unlike almond or coconut especially.

5. Hemp milk
Hemp milk is made from the seeds of the hemp plant and has a nutty flavour and is also a little sweet and is high in omega-3 fatty acids.

The world of pop was shaken yesterday by the news that Take That member Jason Orange had quit the band. It also seems that Robbie Williams will not be re-joining.

Jason announced his news in a statement on the band's website. "At a band meeting last week I confirmed to Mark, Gary and Howard that I do not wish to commit to recording and promoting a new album," he wrote. "There have been no fallings out, only a decision on my part that I no longer wish to do this." Maybe poor Jason just ran out of Patience!

In a joint message, band members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald admitted they knew this had been coming for a long time. "We first became aware of Jason’s reservations a couple of years ago but had hoped that by giving him the desired time and space he may begin to feel differently," the statement read.

Fans have taken to social media to express their sadness/shock/delight:

Some just really didn't care:

The reaction to Jason's departure was not QUITE as crazy as when Take That announced their split back in 1996:

And now, in Jason's honour, let us take this opportunity to enjoy some truly cringey early band photos! We have no idea what is going on here:

That short sleeved white polo neck. Divine:

Bye-bye Jason!

If your immune system or metabolism needs a good kick up the bum, a juice cleanse could be the answer.

During a juice cleanse or fast, all meals are replaced with specially made raw pressed juices. You can stock up for a cleanse lasting anywhere from a day to a week, but if  this is your first cleanse, the recommended maximum length is around 3 days. Benefits include increased energy and vitality, as well as removal of toxins from your body.

A juice cleanse isn't for everyone, but if you're interested, here are our top tips to ensure things go smoothly and you make the most of your hard work!

1. Choose your timing wisely
Make sure you double and triple check your calendar before starting your cleanse. If you have a big event like a birthday or party over the next couple of days, you'll just be miserable watching everyone else eating and drinking like kings. Likewise, if you have an especially busy week at work, it might be better to delay your fast by a few days.

2. Don't tire yourself out
Bear in mind that your energy levels may drop at points during the cleanse, as your body is running on less fuel. Excessive exercise is definitely not a good idea, but a gentle workout is still okay. Sweating is the easiest way to expel toxins from your body, so if you don't fancy that aerobics class, get to the sauna instead.

3. Catch up on rest
Use these few days to really look after your body, allowing it to focus on detoxifying. Getting a good night's sleep also allows your body to better manage its energy levels.

4. Know your limits
If you feel dizzy, faint or shaky, don't ignore it. You might feel it's "cheating" to eat something solid, but your body will thank you for the fuel injection. Try a light salad, some steamed veg or some sweet potato for a quick fix that won't ruin the detox. A 3 day fast is not for everyone so be mindful of your body and how it is responding.

5. End the fast gradually
All you've had for three days is juice – that McDonalds is sounding mighty good right about now. But try to use the first few meals after your fast to gently ease your digestive system back into its normal routine. A large, heavy meal will overload your system and leave you feeling bloated or even ill.

We are so excited about this news! Emma Roberts is famed for working a flawless fashion style both on and off the red carpet which is why we are so excited about her latest venture, jewellery designing.

The star is a Guest Bartender on BaubleBar and has created a 20-piece collection of jewellery that is true to her own style – dainty, feminine and strong. The We're The Millers star has admitted that ever since she was a young girl she has wanted to go down this route – aw, how sweet – and when she was approached by BaubleBar she jumped at the opportunity, as you would.

Her collection is showcased as a story with each chapter showing off a different piece from her range. Chapter 1 features “outspoken statements with graphic motifs, bold colours and exaggerated spikes” – everything you need to pull off the ‘I’m ever so pretty but tough’ look. You know the kind we’re talking about. Chapter 2 is the more feminine side while Chapter 3 will ensure you channel your “Earth Goddess” vibe. Chapter 4 and  5 are all about the big statements while the final chapter, Chapter 6, is all about being “fierce yet feminine and undeniably on trend”.

Feast your eyes on the following designs – we would love to get our hands on that bracelet.

A good book, and we mean a REALLY good book, is a rare find.

When you reach the last page of a really gripping novel, it’s always a little bit devastating that you’ll never read it again for the first time. That’s why it can be really exciting when you find out your favourite book is being turned into a film.

Some book-to-film adaptations are spot-on: great movies in their own right but also totally faithful to the original material. Others… not so good. Cringey accents *cough* PS I Love You *cough*, giant plot holes and, the worst of all, changed endings. NO.

Here are some of the movies that got it right, thank God…

1. The Harry Potter series
J.K. Rowling’s creation became one of the publishing world’s biggest success stories, so it’s understandable that the Harry Potter series would become the most talked about movie franchise of all time. We admit that the earlier films don’t QUITE hit the mark but from The Prisoner of Azkaban onward, we were hooked. We challenge you not to cry for 90% of the last two films. Just the word “Dobby” is still enough to bring a lump to our throat…

2. The Notebook
Call it cringey, call it cheesy, but The Notebook is still our go-to love story! The book itself is quite short, so nothing is cut out in the film which we love. And let’s face it, the addition of Ryan Gosling didn’t do any harm either!

3. The Fault In Our Stars
This young adult novel had a huge cult following among readers of all ages, so the film was definitely put under heavy scrutiny when it was released. But author John Green was so happy with how the screenwriters adapted his work, that he asked them to work with him on upcoming adaptations of his other books, Paper Towns and Looking For Alaska. The film is a total tearjerker and really does remain faithful to Green’s writing.

4. Bridget Jones’ Diary
Just like the book, the film version of Bridget Jones was funny, realistic and a little bit tongue-in-cheek. Renée Witherspoon was a controversial choice for singleton Bridget but she definitely made the part her own, gaining over two stone for the film . As for Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, they were already well used to the rom-com genre!

5. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Author Stieg Larsson died when his books were still unpublished, so he never knew of their success, let alone of a film adaptation. A Swedish movie version of the first book in the three-part series was released in 2009, with a higher-budget English version following in  2011. Both get the thumbs up from us – dark, sinister thrillers that totally capture the essence of the book.

Have you ever wondered if that guy actually wants to pay for the meal? Here are some things a guy is thinking during a date – from a guy's perspective!

1. Do I really have to pay for everything?
It should be half and half this day in age – no?

2. What was your name again?
Tinder=lots of dates, don't judge too harshly. Eek.

3. Are you going to finish that?
You don’t want to sound rude, but sometimes a girl will order food and not finish it and it’s lying there going to waste. You will just make do with what you have, but if you could, you would eat their leftovers, even though half of the meal is still there.

4. Do you actually find that funny or are you just humouring me?
They say it’s a good sign when a girl laughs at your jokes, even the bad ones. Sometimes though, girls will just be humouring you.. It would be good to know if she genuinely finds what I’m saying funny or is just trying to make things less awkward.

5. Does this shirt do anything for you?
It can be hard to tell what a girl is into, so we just stick on a nice shirt, some cologne and hope they like it. If we could, we would actually ask if they think it’s a good shirt or not. The only clue we can get if she says that she actually like it, which is always a good sign.

6. Is the cologne too much?
Guys will usually have that trusty cologne that they always resort to when their going out. Girls don’t usually comment on a guys smell whether it’s good or bad, so it’s hard to know. Sometimes we might put on a bit too much and overcompensate, so if we could we would ask if them if we put on a bit too much.

7. What do you think of my hair?
This might sound like a very vain question to ask, but it’s really more about whether or not she actually likes your hair. Guys spend the most time on their hair than anything else, so it would be actually good to know what they thought of it. If we asked this question, she would automatically think we’re incredibly self -centred and vain…

8. Do you have to order dessert?
It can be awkward if you’re ready to leave after the main course and she is intent on ordering dessert. It’s nice to get a heads up so we know that we will have to fork out the extra cash on a cheesecakebefore you only eat half of it an say “I’m so stuffed”.

9. Do you really have to keep tasting my food?
I get that you want to have a little bit of everything, but I ordered the steak for a reason, because that’s what I wanted and presumably you ordered the pasta for the same reason.

10. Why do you keep going to the toilet?
It's been like three times and the starters just arrived…

11. Are you even listening to what I’m saying?
It would be nice if you acted like you cared about what we were talking about y'know.

12. Can we please stop talking about your last relationship?
It’s good to know when the last time you were in the relationship was and how long you have been single for, but we don’t need every intimate detail about it. You clearly still have some feelings for him if you’re still talking about him this much, maybe you’re not ready to start dating again?

iron man animated GIF

13. Could you please stop looking at your phone every two seconds?
This kind of stuff is infuriating, when you’re trying to talk to a girl and they keep checking their phone. There should be a place in restaurants where you can put your phones, so there won’t be any Instragam pictures of your food and so people can actually talk for once.

14. Do you have any clue where your life is going, or is that just me?
You don’t want to tell them that you have no clue what you’re doing with your life, but it would be good to know if she was the same. You only went to college to keep your parents happy and have no real exit strategy either. There is no nice way of asking this so it’s better just to keep this one out of the conversation.

15. Are you one of those girls that take ages to text back?
When we text a girl it drives us mad when she takes hours to text back “Hi”, you might as well have not texted back if you’re going to come out with that crap. We’re not going to buy the excuse that you forgot because we know girls are glued to their phones.
