We know that people grow apart, but was there really any need for this?

Miley Cyrus has seriously upset fans of Selena Gomez when she flung a bizarre cardboard cut-out with Selena’s face on it into the crowd.

The cut-out had a bikini and fish-net stocking drawn onto it as well as a photo of Selena’s face.

I know, we don’t get it either.

The pop star was on stage in Milan, Italy, when the incident occurred. She can clearly be seen holding and dancing with the cut-out of Selena, before flinging it onto the crowd in front of her.

It has been said that the two fell out over Miley’s reported closeness to Justin Bieber which has upset his ex-girlfriend.

While we think it was totally unnecessary of Miley to take such public drastic action against Selena, who is clearly having a hard time at the moment, is there anyone she hasn’t fallen out with over Justin Bieber?!

It can’t be easy for Selena Gomez seeing her ex get himself into so much trouble, and according to a witness who saw the star having lunch with a friend, she was an emotional wreck:

“She was bawling. Her whole body was trembling, and she kept covering her face with her hands and shaking her head. It looked like something really bad had happened.”

No doubt the show of emotion was down to Selena’s ex Justin Bieber – but even though the pair have such a turbulent relationship, it hasn’t stopped Selena’s grandparents from having a soft spot for Bieber. They told a US magazine:

“He was a nice little fella, totally different from what he is right now. Lately, we are upset about his behaviour. He’s been getting in trouble a lot, and we blame it on the people he hangs around. His friends are bad influences. Selena even told us that she didn’t want to be with him because he was getting into drugs.”

Selena’s grandfather added: “I think she loves him. If he were to eventually propose… I don’t know. We’d be happy, because she’s happy with him.”

It looks like Selena Gomez has a new group of girlfriends!

The 21-year-old star partied it up at the the Katy Perry concert in London with new BFF’s Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse.

“This is how we do, da do. @marycharteris @caradelevingne @sukiwaterhouse,” she captioned the photo taken at the weekend.

After the concert, the girls, who were joined by model Georgia May Jagger, visited pal and the star of the show Katy backstage.

“So many baes last night tho,” Katy captioned her Instagram pic.

While Selena was having a girls’ night out, her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber was dealing with a racial slur scandal, after a shocking video was leaked online.

Just yet another reason why Selena might be better off without him!

So Selena wasn’t kidding when she said Justin preferred to go out with models, as the latest rumours have revealed that Bieber hooked up with Victoria Secret Model, Adriana Lima in Cannes last week.

A close friend of Adriana said that Justin had been pursuing the Brazilian model for quite a while.

“Justin pursued her hard. At a private house party later that night, they were talking non-stop. They went home together around 5 a.m.”

The 32-year-old model, who is also a mum of two, just split from husband Marko Jaric in May after five years of marriage.

Justin posted on instagram a snap of himself and Adriana. Bieber captioned the pic: “I think she foreign, I think she foreign,” referencing lyrics from his song “Confident.”

Well Selena was right, Justin really does prefer models.

Just a day after Selena blasted her ex, Justin Bieber, on Instagram for flirting with models, he has been spotted with Selena’s friend, Kylie Jenner.

It was rumoured last month that Justin was the reason the two girls fell out, after Kylie was said to have hooked up with the singer.

Kylie is only just back from her sister Kim’s wedding in Florence, Italy but was spotted hanging out with Justin in West Hollywood’s Rainbow Bar last night.

Hmm, we’re not sure that hanging out with Justin is going to be best for the two girls’ relationship – but maybe it’s love?!

Selena is NOT impressed by her ex-boyfriend’s actions of late.

The singer, who is normally not vocal about her difficult relationship with Justin Bieber, has clearly had enough.

A fan commented on a photo uploaded by Selena to her Instagram account, writing: “@justinbieber: oooo you better get her back boy.”

Selena responded to the fan’s comment writing: “Do you think I care?” in one message, followed by “No. He’d rather models.”

Eek! Has Justin burnt his bridges with the beauty after all?

Poor Selena – it can’t be easy seeing his ex cavorting with all of those models right under her nose!

Just today, Justin uploaded an image of model Yovanna Ventura to his Instagram account and wrote: “I see you in that Dolce Dress. Glad you had fun :)”

Selena Gomez is currently in Nepal as a UN ambassador, but it seems that isn’t the only reason for the trip.

While in Nepal, Selena was interviewed by Bisnu Sharma, a well-known journalist in the country.

Sharma then took to his Twitter account and quoted Selena’s words during the interview, which seem to reveal why she needed a break from the US, “I am in Nepal for to escape American media. I wanted to mental peace.”

Fans of Selena will have noticed that there seems to be a hint of sadness in her Instagram posts of late.

She recently uploaded a bikini selfie along with the words: “Taking my power back.”

Hopefully Selena can find the peace she needs in Nepal, it can’t be easy dealing with all of that boyfriend drama on such a public scale!

This time the singer decided to share a sexy bikini picture of herself on the beach, and of course the caption sent a pretty clear message to her ex, Justin Bieber.

Selena has been seen visiting Justin’s recording sessions, leading to speculation that they are reuniting.

However, it has been reported that Selena has given Justin an ultimatum: marry me or it’s over.

A source said: “He really needs to prove he can step up to the plate – like an engagement ring might do it. Otherwise she’s done and she wants to let it go.”

Selena’s representative has been forced to deny rumours that the 21-year-old singer was pregnant with Justin Bieber’s baby in 2012.

American magazine, In Touch  are currently running the story that Selena Gomez was pregnant with Justin’s child.

A source apparently told the magazine that Selena was pregnant with Justin’s baby and the singer saw it as a sign that her and Justin were meant to be together forever.

“In 2012, she got pregnant and miscarried Justin’s baby. Nothing in her life has been the same since.”

Well, we wonder what Justin would make of this rumour.

It had been rumoured that Selena Gomez and her parents were not on speaking terms following her firing them as her managers.

However, now it would seem that is all behind them as Selena posted this heartfelt photo of her and her mum.

The photo features a very tiny Selena being held by her mother who looks exactly like her, apart from the 90s hair, of course!

Selena captioned the sweet image: “I’m not sure I can express what kind of woman she is, all I can say is she changed my life completely. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you momma.”

We guess that means that any issues between the two have been sorted, which is good to see.
