Downton Abbey fans, we’ve got some wonderful news for you.

A second movie is on the way!

Producer Gareth Neame revealed that they are currently in talks about creating a second Downton Abbey movie.

He told The Hollywood Reporter that they had this idea even before the first movie was released.

He said, “We started vaguely thinking about it [a sequel] before the release of the movie. But we were kind of holding our breath.”

Gareth explained that the stellar reaction to the Downton Abbey movie blew them away, “The reaction to the film, the press tour in the U.S. and the buildup to release were so strong that we'd been thinking about it.

He added, "It was clear from the first weekend that this was worth taking very seriously".

The team has yet to decide on a storyline, but there’s no doubt it’ll be just as fabulous as the first film.

“We're working on what the story is, and when we might be able to make it.”

However, the one hurdle they need to overcome is getting the entire cast together again. Trying to find a space in their schedules that works for everyone is going to be tricky.

“We have to try to get everyone back together again. And that was very challenging,” Gareth added.

“The challenge will be, is everyone available at the same time? Can we make deals with them? That will be the challenge.”

We seriously need this to happen!

Bridget Jones is an icon to many of us. She made us feel better about sitting on the sofa in our pjs, with two empty bottles of wine at our side. She showed us that true love is there, it may just take some time to find it. And she also taught us to always wear your big bloomers, because you too might find a man like Daniel Clever swooning over you, well a girl can dream.

Bridget Jones’s Diary is our go-to movie when we’re feeling a little bit rubbish. We grab a cuppa, a tub of Ben and Jerry’s and usually seek out a bottle of wine halfway through the movie.

Us Bridget Jones fans have been treated to three glorious movies, Bridget Jones’s Baby being the most recent release (god bless, Patrick Dempsey) and it sounds like another movie could be in the works.

Yes, a fourth Bridget Jones movie, we can’t believe it either. What a time to be alive.

Renée Zelwegger has been busy promoting her new movie Judy, but the actress teased fans of Bridget Jones during an appearance on Australian talk show The Project.

The Judy star said she would love to play Bridget again.

When asked if she’d like to continue Bridget’s story, Renée said, “Oh, gosh, yeah, wouldn't that be fun?”

"It's really the best job, it really is. So much weirder than folks can imagine from the outside,” she added.

The creator of Bridget Jones, author Helen Fielding has already written a fourth book, Mad About The Boy, so this movie just has to happen, right?

The Princess Bride has cemented itself as a cult classic. The charming movie is adored by millions and has remained popular since it was first released in 1987.

It is the dream movie. It has the dashing leading man, the headstrong heroine, the goofy supporting cast and the fight for true love.

How could you not love The Princess Bride? We’ll never not fancy Westley (Cary Elwes) despite that awful moustache. Our hearts will always break when Buttercup is trapped with the horrid Prince Humperdinc. And we’ll never not scratch our heads as we try to figure out why Miracle Max (Billy Crystal) looks so familiar.

It’s safe to say we were dismayed to hear of a potential reboot of the classic 80s movie, and we weren’t the only ones.

Once the news broke of The Princess Bride remake, fans were quick to express their outrage online, stressing that the movie is perfect as is.

Cary Elwes (Westley) even chimed in on the debate, echoing the views of his fans.

He tweeted, ‘There’s a shortage of perfect movies in this world. It would be a pity to damage this one.’

Why can’t we just leave old movies alone? People fell in love with The Princess Bride because of its charm, cast and character- and that is something you can’t recreate.

You can’t match the magic of the original 1987 movie so why even bother?

As the age old saying goes- don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

Bridget Jones is one of the most iconic female characters ever. She’s wacky, and goofy, and her love for giant granny knickers is way more relatable than we’d like to admit.

Many women have sought comfort in Bridget, whether that was through the wonderful books by Helen Fielding, or through the movies starring Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.

Bridget returned to the big screen in Bridget Jones’s Baby, and even though she finally got her happy ending, it looks like Bridget isn’t finished just yet.

Renée Zellweger recently revealed she is eager to do a fourth installment of the iconic franchise.

She told The Talk that she would definitely be interested in doing a fourth film.

The actress joked: ““Bridget Jones: The Menopause. No, I know Helen’s [Fielding] written the book, and I love this character. So, I mean, if they call me, I’ll go running.”

Renée previously told The Daily Record that she would gladly do a fourth movie as she loves the character so much, “I really hope so. I do. I love her. She's so much fun."

"I really like the place she is at in her life, but it's Bridget and there's always going to be some drama. She's so perfectly imperfect,” she added.

Would you watch another Bridget Jones movie or was Bridget Jones’s Baby the perfect ending for everyone’s favourite heroine?

It feels like every Disney movie is getting the live-action treatment, and we must admit, we’re pretty happy about it.

We are mega Disney fans so seeing our favourite tales being remade into live-action movies is pretty exciting.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of our favourite Disney movies will be transformed into a live-action movie.

Rumour has it, we’ll soon be reunited with our favourite Disney duo as Lilo and Stitch is set to be remade into a live-action movie.

We’ll be returning to Hawaii in the live-action/CG hybrid and we’re intrigued to see how the team will transform the beloved animated tale.

Disney has lined up quite the impressive creative team for the Lilo and Stitch remake with Mike Van Waes working on the script and Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich producing the beloved tale.

The producers are already working on the Aladdin remake so it’s safe to say the live-action Lilo and Stitch won’t disappoint Disney fans.

Lilo and Stitch may not have been a massive box office success, especially when you compare it to films like Frozen and Moana, but it is one of our favourites.

Lilo’s sassy attitude, her deep love for Elvis’ music and her kind-heart make her one of the greatest Disney characters.

There’s no scene we relate to more than the one where Lilo lies down on the ground, listens to her Elvis record and yells, “Leave me alone to die.”

We can’t wait to be reunited with the Elvis-loving, Hawaiin-dancing heroine.

The release date for the upcoming movie has finally been revealed so make sure to mark your calendars.

You can look forward to seeing the original cast on the big screen in the coming months. Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Matthew Goode and Maggie Smith will all grace our cinema screens in the Downton Abbey movie.

We will also meet new cast members including Imelda Staunton, James, Simon Jones, David Haig, Tuppence Middleton, Kate Phillips and Stephen Campbell Moore.

The movie will hit cinemas next autumn.

According to Page Six, the movie will be released on September 13, 2019, so we’ve just got a little over a year to wait.

Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski opened up about the film: “Since the series ended, fans of ‘Downton’ have long been waiting for the Crawley family’s next chapter. We’re thrilled to join this incredible group of filmmakers, actors and craftspeople, led by Julian Fellowes and Gareth Neame, in bringing back the world of ‘Downton’ to the big screen next September.”

Unfortunately, one of our favourite characters will not be returning. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again star Lily James confirmed that she won’t be reprising her role as Lady Rose MacClare.

Despite her absence, we cannot wait for the Downton Abbey movie. Roll on September 2019.

Lady Bird stars Saoirse Ronan and Timotheé Chamalet will join forces again for a remake of one of the best novels.

The duo are set to star in Greta Gerwig's adaption of the beloved Louisa May Alcott book Little Women.

Variety reported that Meryl Streep, Emma Stone Florence Pugh will also join the Lady Bird actors in the remake.

Little Women follows the lives of the March sisters -Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy- and their mum during the Civil War. Their father is away at war and the family face many difficult times, but their sisterly bond helps them get through the highs and lows of teenage life.

The four sisters travel down different paths and soon realise that growing up isn’t as easy as they once thought it would be.

Saoirse Ronan recently gushed about her love for coming-of-age movies, so this will be the perfect fit for her.

She told RTÉ Entertainment about her love of movies similar to The Breakfast Club and Lady Bird.

“I loved things like Rebel Without a Cause and Dirty Dancing. Lots of films that, I suppose, were about a young person figuring out who they were in the world. That seemed to be what I was really drawn to,” Saoirse expressed.

There’s no doubt in our minds that Gerwig’s adaption of Little Women will win the hearts of fans across the globe, especially with such an impressive cast.

We cannot wait to hear more about it!

FINALLY!

After months of rumours and hints and basically just a rollercoaster of emotions for any fans, it has been confirmed that Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, is going to happen.

Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders are reuniting in order to film the highly anticipated film over the next several weeks. The release date is expected to be sometime in 2016.

Which really isn’t that far away- as we keep reminding ourselves.

Multiple cast members are set make their return: Julia Sawalha as Saffy, Jane Horrocks as Bubble, and June Whitfield as Mother. There is also some A-List cameos to come, naturally.

No big names have been revealed as of yet, but fans have been promised there will be some downright fabulous moments. We expect nothing less.

Ab Fab Searchlight

The premise of the film assures us that Edina and Patsy are still “oozing glitz and glamour” and living the high life they are so accustomed to- hence the duo appearing on a yacht in the first image to be released.

However, things don’t go entirely to plan: “Blamed for a major incident at an uber-fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi.”

So off they flee (penniless, mind you) to the French Riviera to escape the stress of it all.

The Mirror reported earlier this year that Jennifer said the script took her 20 years to write.

We’re hoping there will be more of this:

That’s all we ever wanted really.
