We have been living off takeaways and turkey sandwiches for the past two weeks and we think it may be time for a change.

Many people will be giving Veganuary a whirl this month and KFC are here to help.

From today, Thursday, January 2 2020, vegans and would-be vegans across the country can enjoy the iconic Original Recipe flavour they’ve been denied, as the all-new KFC Vegan Burger is now available for delivering straight to their home or office with the tap of the Just Eat app.

Exclusive to Just Eat customers for the month of January, this exciting vegan offering pays meat-free homage to KFC’s OG of burgers – the Chicken Fillet burger, featuring the very same herbs and spices. The usual chicken breast is replaced with a bespoke Quorn fillet, which is coated in the Colonel’s famous flavours, served with vegan mayonnaise and crisp iceberg lettuce, all within a soft-glazed bun.

News of this exciting Just Eat partnership with KFC is the latest in a series of new menu announcements for Ireland’s leading food ordering and delivery service, as the range of choice and the variety of flavours available on the platform continues to expand.

Celebrating the announcement, Amanda Roche Kelly, MD at Just Eat Ireland, said; “We’re starting the decade as we mean to go on, serving up even more choice, convenience and above all flavour to our Just Eat customers. Innovations like this one from KFC are changing the food game, so we’re thrilled to be exclusively delivering this great tasting Original Recipe Vegan Burger to homes and offices right across Ireland.”

The KFC Vegan Burger is available for delivery to your home or office door exclusively on Just Eat from 12pm, 7 days a week. Check out the menu https://www.just-eat.ie/takeaway/brands/kfc

So, if you've ever dreamt of bathing in a tub full of Kentucky Fried Chicken, then oh boy, have we got news for you.

In what is possibly one of the more bizarre beauty/food combos to emerge in recent times, KFC Japan have created the ‘Chicken Smell Bathing Powder,’ that'll leave your skin smelling like Colonel Sanders himself.

Shaped like a drumstick for that authentic feel, the bath bomb is the result of a collaboration between the fast-food chain and Japanese retailer Village Vanguard – a company known for its unique bathing products.

Rather unsurprisingly, the product has received a bit of mixed reaction so far, with some Twitter users asking why the product was ever created in the first place:

Love it, or loath it – it's pretty unlikely you'll ever get your hands on one anyway.

With just 100 of these bad boys in existence, they are not available to buy.

Instead, you'll need to retweet the tweet below in order to be in with the chance to win.

And if all else fails – just dump a few family sized buckets into the bath for the same effect.

Forget fresh linen and vanilla scents, the time has come for a scented candle that makes your home smell like a greasy takeaway.

Have you ever thought, "I really wish I had a fried chicken-scented candle right now?"

Realistically you probably haven't, but just in case you have, KFC is making all your fried food scented dreams come true.

“What better way to light up your nights than with a limited edition KFC Scented Candle?" questions the KFC New Zealand Instagram page. We can think of a few.

The New Zealand chain is holding a #KFCAdventCalendar contest on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram that offers the chance to win all kinds of KFC merchandise, including the candles.

Entrants are encouraged to make suggestions for more KFC themed gifts, and chicken-scented lip gloss, body lotion and knitted drumstick mittens featured among the suggestions.

Only 25 of the scented candles are up for grabs, so if you want one of these monstrosities then get entering.

We're firm lovers of pizza (as you probably know) here in Shemazing HQ, so we're a little bit sceptic about KFC's latest offering.

The fried chicken chain has added Chicken Fried Pizza to its menu and we have to say we're giving it some proper side eye.

angry buffy the vampire slayer mad annoyed hate

The Chizza, as it's called, is a piece of fried chicken smothered in pizza toppings.

Looking at the ads, there's only one version available which has tomato sauce, pepperoni, cheese, green peppers and pineapple on it.

According to Rocket News 24, it's going to debut in Japan in November and if all goes well, will be added to menus all around the world.

Pizza is perfect. Southern fried chicken (with gravy) is perfect. Why can't they just remain separate?!

Remember when Colonel Sanders and the crew decided they knew as much about manicures as they do about chicken, and launched their very own range of nail polishes?

Well, they haven't stopped there.

According to their Twitter page, the uber-famous fast food restaurant have turned their attention to the world of sun protection,  and in a bizarre turn of events, people are actually all OVER it.

Having released 3,000 bottles of Extra Crispy Sunscreen this week – a product which leaves users smelling like a bucket of the fried stuff – the chicken superstars are now fresh out.

They are FRESH OUT of chicken-scented sunscreen, people.

Considering that very few of us seek to smell like a fast-food outlet of our own accord, we can only assume the public was seduced by the chain's snappy tagline.

Tying in the allure of their original product with the importance of their new one, KFC explained: "Because the only skin that should be extra crispy this summer is on your fried chicken."

Oh, you guys!

We have to admit, we all love a good KFC here in Shemazing! HQ from time to time, but this new item just sounds BIZARRE.

The food chain is taking finger lickin' good to a whole new level by introducing nail polish to its menu.

Yes, nail polish.

According to AdWeek, the chicken stop is launching two limited edition, flavoured nail polishes for its food campaign in Hong Kong.

Combining the venture with the company that makes their secret chicken spice mix, McCormick, KFC has created two shades of nail polish inspired by their two most popular recipes: Original and Hot & Spicy.

The Original colour is a light nude sahde, and the Hot & Spicy is a bright orange-red tone. They also both appear to have flecks of glitter mixed in… Fancy.

Oh, and did we mention its edible? We'll just leave you with that thought there…

We all love the odd fast food meal from time to time. Between McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Subway and more, there's so many to choose from.

That's probably the reason why fast food companies aim high when trying to promote their new burger, wrap or chicken box.

With striking backgrounds, bright colours schemes and succulent meat, the images are designed to strike anybody passing by.

Now, we know the actual meal might not always look as good as it's picture, but comparisons are something else:

Who doesn’t want to be able to get a decent group selfie when their half way through the perfect delicious family bucket at their local KFC?

Well, according to KFC that is exactly what their customers needed and they are eager to provide. Chicken drumstick selfies for everyone!

To celebrate KFC’s 60th anniversary, the brands Canadian restaurants are going to release something called the ‘Memories Bucket’.

From what we can gather from the ad posted on their Facebook page, the restaurants will be adding a Bluetooth powered Polaroid printer. It will be attached to the bottom of your bucket of friend chicken, because why not.

Simply take your very best selfie on your smartphone, send it to the printer using and then print. According to their Facebook page, a handful of very “lucky” customers will be able to get their hands on one.

The “limited edition” buckets are probably a sign that the selfie trend has reached its absolute peak.

While we think that bringing more Polaroid photos into our lives is certainly excellent news, we’re not entirely sure we need them to feature us with our go-to snack when we’re feeling a little fragile after a long Saturday night.

Introducing our Memories Bucket – Capture memories made with this limited edition anniversary bucket. Want one? #Happy60KFC

After a bad break-up, you're well within your rights to disappear into a mess of Doritos, Haagen Dazs and fast food for a few days.

Usually this involves raiding the local Spar, heading to the McDonalds Drive-Thru and seeking refuge on the couch. Not for this woman though. Ohhh, no.

Tan Shen was on the train home after being dumped by her man, when she stopped for some comfort food at her local 24-hour KFC in Chengdu, China.

Now, we've all done the bould thing and ordered seconds in a restaurant, but Tan Shen decided to go for thirds, fourths and fifths too. One portion of chicken wings in, she decided that she wasn't leaving the restaurant. Ever.

At first staff didn't noticed her continued presence due to the shift changes, but as the week went on they began to get suspicious.

"I just wanted some chicken wings," Tan told Yahoo News. "But once I got in there and started eating I decided I needed time to think. I didn't want to go back to my apartment because it was full of memories of him. So I stayed."

After a week or so, media started showing up and the dumpee made the executive decision to head home and mourn her broken heart away from prying eyes. We hope she ordered a take-away portion of wings for the road…
