We're serious puppy people here in Shemazing! HQ.

So much so, we literally act like four-year-olds and squeal when our weekend editor sends us pictures of her family's dog. Whatsapp group chats, amirite?

Now, if you own a dog, then you can probably plead guilty to this, because we all do it. We all just can't help talking to our dogs as if they're babies.

'Ooooh hello there! Who's a good boy then, huh? Who's a good doggy? You areeee, yes, you areee.'

We're all guilty. But, it turns out they actually like it. Well, puppies do. Adult dogs can't really be bothered, tbh.

The Proceedings of the Royal Society B has just published a research article where 30 women were told to repeat the following:

‘"Hi! Hello cutie! Who's a good boy? Come here! Good boy! Yes! Come here sweetie pie! What a Good boy!"

They each had to record the above paragraph twice; once, in a slow-paced, high-pitched tone (as if talking to an animal) and the second, in their normal speaking voice (as if talking to a human).

The researchers then played those recordings to ten puppies and ten adult dogs.

And as you guessed it, the pups went WILD for the first recording – yelping and barking and running towards the speakers. However, when they heard the second recording, their enthusiastic manner dropped completely.

When they played the recordings to the adult dogs, well, according to the research all they did was glance at the speaker and look away. Clearly, couldn't give AF.

The authors of the study came up with two reasons for the outcome; one being down to innate receptiveness with high-pitched sounds, which is a genetic characteristic which deteriorates with age. SO, maybe older dogs actually just can't hear the high-pitched noises.

Their other reason was – maybe the older the dog gets the pickier it is with who they want to associate with, and are actively ignoring the annoying sounds that come from us.

We kinda like the second reason because that means our dogs are sassy AF. And we like sassy.

Luscious locks and plentiful tresses: it was the newborn photo that swept the internet.

Posted to Reddit by his adoring older relative – and captioned "my baby cousin has hair that looks like a news anchorman,” – the little one in question displayed a rather astonishing mop.

But it seems he's not the only one to boast such an incredibly full mane. In fact, there are an awful lot of gorgeous babies out there that are giving us major hair envy.

With oodles of parents responding by sharing snaps of their own babas over on the MummyPages Facebook page, here we round up the very best… prepare to have ALL the feelings:

She was just 27 at the time – and fighting to save her ailing marriage. Now Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she had IVF in a bid to help her get pregnant.

Speaking on yesterday’s Kocktails With Khloe, she admitted: “At the time I was, like, ugh, gotta have a baby.

“That’s all I wanted.”

Following a whirlwind month-long romance, Ms Kardashian married Lamar Odom back in 2009 when she was 25 – although the basketball star was often subjected to rumour relating to his alleged drug-use and infidelity.

“I thought maybe it would like fix the situation,” she also recalled.

However, and now estranged from Lamar, Khloe went on to say that everything worked out for the best – and that a baby was never going to fix her marital issues.

“I’m also happy it didn’t happen because I was young. I was 27,” she explained.

Khloe was rumoured to be having IVF in 2011, although this is the first time she’s publicly confirmed that she did indeed turn to the treatment.

With three small children – the youngest of whom is still only four months old – already at home, Kristin Cavallari says she's definitely NOT having any more kids.

Mother to Camden, 3, Jaxon, 22 months, and Saylor, 4 months, we can imagine the reality TV star and her husband, professional athlete Jay Cutler, have their hands full.

In fact, they're absolutely sure that their family is now complete; in fact, Jay, 32, is being sent off for the snip.

“We’re taking permanent [birth control] measures. We’ll just leave it at that,” the 29-year-old revealed this week referring to a vasectomy.

And with two boys already in the family, the Kristin was particularly delighted to welcome baby Saylor last November.

“She’s going to steal Jay’s heart, which will in turn melt mine!” Ms Cavallari said at the time.

“I’m excited for the boys to grow up with a sister. I think it will help them to better understand and respect women.”

We love a good pregnancy reveal story, and the fact that this one takes place at 10,000 metres makes it all the sweeter.

Mum-to-be Lisa Sadiwynk recently boarded a plane from Las Vegas to Philadelphia with her husband, and she decided it was high (geddit?) time to let him know he was due to become a dad.

After doing the usual announcements about flight time and weather, the American Airlines pilot on Lisa and Eric's plane told the passengers it was "time to have a little fun."

Calling out Eric's seat number and name, he then explained what was going on.

"Well Eric although you didn’t strike it rich here in Las Vegas you did hit the jackpot. Congratulations, you’re about to be a dad!"

How sweet?! And the moment Eric starts to cry just before the video ends is truly gorgeous.

Lisa's video has already racked up 35,000 views on Facebook, and she says she's hoping to track down some of the plane crew again to thank them properly.

Watch it in full here:

Here's a MUST WATCH! A few weeks ago, my husband Eric Sadiwnyk got quite the surprise on our returning flight from Las…

Nothing sets our ovaries going like an adorable celebrity baby, and 2015 did not disappoint.

From a new member of the Royal family (though we reckon Prince George still wins in the adorableness stakes) to Kim and Kanye's long-awaited second child, the last twelve months have been jampacked with mini-me celeb babies.

Here are some of the new arrivals that had us beaming over the last year…

Georgia Salpa and Joe Penna: Twin boys
Irish model Georgia Salpa tied the knot over the summer, and revealed in mid-December that she and her new husband were the proud parents of twin boys. It's believed the couple used a surrogate based in the US. No photos of the two little lads yet – though we have heard a few cute cries in the background on her Snapchat videos…

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Saint West
After initially hinting that Kim was due around Christmas Day, this superstar reality couple ended up welcoming their second child prematurely on December 5. We bet it was a very happy Christmas indeed in the Kardashian-Jenner-West household.

Fearne Cotton and Jesse Wood: Honey Krissy Wood
BBC presenter Fearne welcomed her second child, a sister for her two-year-old son Rex, in September of this year. We've yet to see a proper photo, but Fearne has been sharing a few peeks at her adorable newborn – like this one of the tot sleeping with her hands to her face:

Frankie Sandford-Bridge and Wayne Bridge: Carter Bridge
If there was any doubt that little Carter wouldn't be a total cutie, one look at his big brother Parker should set the record straight. Carter made his media debut in an OK! spread just one month after his birth back in August.

Lucy Liu: Rockwell Lloyd Liu, August
Actress Lucy Liu welcomed her first child via gestational surrogate in late summer, and couldn't resist showing him off via Twitter with this oh-so-adorable snap.

Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik: Elsie Otter Pechenik
The notoriously private Zooey revealed all at once that she was married AND had become a new mum, after welcoming daughter Elsie with her husband in August 2015. The name is cute, but we bet she'll thank her lucky stars she wasn't saddled with a double-barrel surname… Deschanel-Pechenik is a bit of a mouthful.

Kian Egan and Jodi Albert: Zeke Egan
Zeke's birth in May was a bittersweet day for model and singer Jodi, as he coincidentally shares a birthday with her late mum Eileen. Jodi sadly lost her mum to cancer in February 2015.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter: Christopher Cumberbatch
We reckon Benedict would rather die than name his child Saint, Apple or anything remotely 'trendy.' Instead the actor opted for Christopher, after welcoming the little boy in June, just four months after he and Sophie tied the knot.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: Princess Charlotte of Cambridge
Unless you were living under a rock for the months of April and May, you'll know full well that the Royal Family welcomed a new member this year, in the form of little Charlotte. And a new Christmas family snap shows that the new Princess is turning out to be a brunette like her gorgeous mum…

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: Silas Timberlake
Justin and Jessica rarely share glimpses of their personal lives on social media, but we were lucky enough to get a peek at little Silas a couple of times this year via social media. HOW cute is the teeny-tiny fella?

Una and Ben Foden: Tadhg John Foden
Tipperary's cutest GAA supporter has to be little Tadhg, the new son of Irish singer Una Foden. Along with Una and Ben's three-year-old daughter Aoife Belle, this family of four is just totally picture perfect.

Shakira and Gerard Piqué: Sasha Piqué
"I have Daddy's feet, it looks like I've been playing football my whole life,” Shakira wrote on Twitter of her newborn son, a little brother for Milan. Sasha was born by C-section in January, just 24 hours after his dad played a blinder for Barcelona FC.

Jennifer Maguire and Lau Zampareli: Florence Myra Zampareli
RTÉ's most hilarious star Jennifer welcomed the adorable Florence at the beginning of 2015, and said recently that the whole experience of motherhood has been "magical." D'aaaw.

Just six months after their Portofino wedding, Georgia and Joe Penna are the proud parents to twin boys.

The news was revealed in the media over the weekend, although Irish model Georgia slammed reports her sons were adopted. Now, a source close to the couple has revealed that Georgia and Joe used a US surrogate to give birth to their babies.

"Georgia’s twins were born with the help of a surrogate," a friend tells the Irish Mirror. And indeed, a look through the model's Instagram feed shows she did visit the US around eight weeks ago.

"The surrogate was arranged in the US and she [Georgia] is over the moon to have two healthy, happy baby boys."

After news of her sons' arrivals went public over the weekend, newlywed Georgia took to social media to confirm it.

"Delighted with the arrival of twin boys, the most special, perfect little babies and we are so in love," she wrote.

"They are NOT adopted… I won’t be posting any photos of them on social media as I’d like to keep them private."

Georgia has made no secret of her desire to start a family, admitting last year that it was certainly on the horizon for herself and Joe.

"In the future, I really want to have children. Of course it’s something I think about. I think most girls think about babies.

"Kids are something I definitely want."

In the weeks following the birth of her new sons, Georgia was noticeably quieter on social media  – leading fans to speculate if she might be keeping something under wraps.

She endured a miscarriage in the second trimester of her second pregnancy – but it's only now, more than two years on, that Lisa Osbourne feels able to open up about her pain.

The wife of reality TV star Jack, she now has two children: daughters Pearl Clementine, who is three, and Andy Rose, who arrived in June of this year.

The duo maried in Hawaii in October 2012 surrounded by their friends and family – including Jack's proud parents rocker Ozzy and talent show judge Sharon.

However, shortly after announcing they were expecting a second child – Lisa experienced a late-term miscarriage. Now, in revealing Instagram posts, she has opened up about the pain she suffered at the time – and the daily struggles she still endures now.

"I don't talk about what happened to us much, and I've never posted this photo before out of fear that someone would say something mean or negative," Lisa began, also sharing a picture of a card with tiny footprints printed on it.

"I would have an almost 2 year old son now, named Theo. I never got to meet him, and this is all I have to remember him by… his tiny little footprints.

"It still hurts every day, and I will always love & miss him. He was a real baby, and he was mine.

"My heart goes out to my friends, family, and those of you I don't know that have suffered the loss of a baby. I love you all!"

The 28-year-old was quickly inundated with messages of support, as well as stories from men and women who had suffered their own loses.

One note from a fan read: "Thank you for sharing this, and I'm truly sorry for your loss because I know how much pain you have. My son Sebastian would have been almost 1 year and 8 months. It's still very difficult.

"I wish I could turn back time and hold him in my arms again. What I would do just to hold his tiny body against my chest again.

"He was so tiny and beautiful. I think about my son every single day. Thank you again for sharing your story."

Indeed, Lisa was so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, that she then made a second Instagram post which depicted a lit candle: "For my love, Theo… and all of the other babies who aren't with us in the flesh but are with us mommies in spirit, forever," she wrote late last night.

"I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who's opened up about their own stories, I've read a lot of them and I'm in tears because I feel so overwhelmed with support.

"Thank you guys so much, it really means the world to have such beautiful things said about my son."

If you're in a long-term relationship you're likely sick to death of people asking when you plan on getting married/having kids, but spare a thought for the poor Danes.

Denmark is known for its low birth rate, so anyone of child-bearing age is probably getting hounded on a daily basis to start a family.

Now one travel company has come up with a solution for the country's aging population issues… kinda.

A new ad, aimed at older parents who are just gagging for a grandchild, suggests they pay for their child to go on an "active holiday," with the hope they'll spend lots of time between the sheets.

The logic? People are more likely to have sex on a sunny holiday.

Plus, couples who break a sweat together are apparently proven to have more sex too.

"You were there when your son learned how to walk, but when it comes to making grandchildren it might be a little awkward to help out," the ad says.

"Maybe it's time to get a little proactive."

Would-be grandparents can purchase a Spies Travel holiday for their child – be they single or attached – in the hope that they'll be inspired to get down and dirty.

The Do It For Mom campaign is a follow on from the Do It For Denmark campaign in 2014, which offered an "ovulation discount" to any couples planning a romantic city break.

An ovulation discount? We could get on board with that.
