We can always rely on Netflix for a decent rom-com to cheer us up after a long, miserable day in the office. They’ve released some of the strongest movies recently including Set It Up, Someone Great and Isn’t It Romantic and their string of success has yet to stop.

Upcoming release Always Be My Maybe is bound to win you over. Netflix dropped the trailer today and our hearts can’t quite cope.

Childhood friends Sasha and Marcus have a falling out and don’t speak for 15 years. But when Sasha, now a celebrity chef in Los Angeles, returns to her hometown of San Francisco to open a new restaurant, she runs into her old pal — a happily complacent musician still living at home and working for his dad. Though the two are reluctant to reconnect, they soon find the old sparks — and maybe some new ones — are there.

Starring Ali Wong (Hard Knock Wife), Randall Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Michelle Buteau (Broad City), Vivian Bang (White Rabbit), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Charlyne Yi (Paper Heart), Daniel Dae Kim (Hellboy), James Saito (While We’re Young), with Keanu Reeves (John Wick) and Lyrics Born.

The film is directed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Don’t Trust the B____ in Apt. 23) from a script by Ali Wong, Randall Park, and Michael Golamco (Grimm, Please Stand By), and is produced by Nathan Kahane, Erin Westerman, Ali Wong, and Randall Park. Brendan Ferguson executive produces.

Always Be My Maybe will be released on May 31.

It’s safe to say Khloé Kardashian has had one whirlwind year already and we’re not even at the halfway point yet. The mum has been adjusting to life as a single mum after the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods scandal.

The businesswoman shares one-year-old daughter True with her former partner and has been trying her best to ensure that True has a normal, happy childhood.

Khloé said co-parenting is the best option for her and Tristan as she doesn’t want her negative love life with the sportsman to impact True.

She told the Divorce Sucks! podcast about the realities of co-parenting with Tristan, stressing that it has been far harder than it looks on her Instagram.

Behind the snaps of the family-of-three grinning at birthday parties and Thanksgiving dinners are heightened emotions, heartache and stress.

“It does f*king suck because our personal emotions are still there. So those emotions can be heightened at times, but I do everything in my power — True is one and, like, a month old — so she doesn’t really know what’s happening, but to me she does know and she feels energy and I’m a big believer of that,” the mum explained.

“I do everything in my power to not put just any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds are a little too bohemian to some people,” Khloé added.

Fair play to Khloé for rising above the toxic drama and focusing on what is best for her baby girl.

Watching The Graham Norton Show has become a staple part of our Friday night routine. We love tuning in to see what guests have joined the Corkman on the sofa, but this week Graham will be absent from the show.

The presenter is currently in Tel Aviv for the Eurovision. He has swapped his Friday night slot for his annual commentating gig at the singing-contest, but fear not, he has enlisted the help of funnyman Jack Whitehall.

The British comedian will take the reigns whilst Graham is away. The League of Their Own panellist is set to welcome a string of stars this week.

Festival season is fast approaching, and while it may be all about the music and creating memories with friends, planning killer outfits is all part of the fun.

This year, a cohort of Irish influencers took to the Californian desert, to attend arguably the most talked about music festival of the year – Coachella.

Among the Irish it-gals was fitness and beauty queen Niamh Cullen, who began creating braiding tutorials, ab videos and ootds ls on social media and who now boasts one of the biggest followings the Emerald Isle has to offer. Niamh has cut her teeth in the fashion world, becoming known for her comfy but cool approach to day dressing, and serving scorchingly trendy looks by evening.

While her usual style is definitely chic, she stepped it up while attending the American music festival, rocking looks ranging from fringed leather chaps to custom-made bodysuits.

While on the road to the festival during Weekend 1, Niamh paused to capture a picture surrounded by the desert elements, and shared an exciting piece of news in the caption.

'Day 1 : No better to place to announce this news. My FESTIVAL EDIT WITH @nastygal LAUNCHES NEXT WEEK !!!! Honestly a dream come true for me , still can’t believe it' she wrote.

Nasty Gal is known for it's collabs with some mega names in style – designing collections with Emma Louise Connolly and teaming up to creating edits with Louise Cooney.

Since Niamh's announcement, fans have eagerly awaited her edit – and it finally dropped today.

Peppered among Nasty Gal's festival offerings, Niamh's picks stand out as examples of her signature style – classic with a hint of edge.

From neutral printed dresses to ruffles trousers, and crochet tops to fringed sparkly jackets, there is definitely something to suit everyone's style.

If you're not one to spend hours plotting and planning your outfits for the festival circuit, Niamh is making it easy thanks to her put-together outfit selections.

Team any of her choices with a pair of chunky black biker boots or white cowboy boots, and throw on a black matador hat or festival crown, and you're good to go.

'Someone pinch me ,' she penned on Instagram ' Can’t even believe it! Two years on sharing my abs before bed + endless OOTDs .. …To this I hope you all like it. Don’t feel real at all for little ole me.'

The influencer's edit has been shared across social media today, so we're sure we'll be spotting her style picks at every Irish festival this summer.

The month of May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. UV exposure is the most preventable risk factor for skin cancer. During Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we are encouraging you to practice safe sun every time you are outdoors.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in Ireland with over 11,000 new cases diagnosed in 2015. The National Cancer Registry of Ireland (NCRI) expects this number to double by 2040.

What is Skin Cancer?

Skin cancer is a disease of skin cells. Nine out of every ten cases are caused by UV rays from the sun or sunbeds. Overexposure to UV rays, which leads to tanning, redness or burning of the skin, causes damage to skin cells. While much of this damage is repaired some remains and can lead to skin cancer later in life.

Early detection is also vital. If spotted early, up to 90 percent of cases are curable. In the case of melanoma skin cancer, spotting it early can save your life. For this reason, it is important to get to know your skin, check it every month for change and speak to your doctor if you are worried.

Reduce the risk by following the SunSmart Code:

1.     Slip on some clothes

2.     Slop on sunscreen

3.     Slap on a hat

4.     Seek some shade

5.     Slide on sunglasses

It is important to use products that provide protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

The Irish Cancer Society recommends wearing sunscreen from April to September to reduce the risk. It is helpful to work SPF into your daily routine to ensure that you are always protected.

CASMARA LIGHTENING REPAIR CREAM SPF 50 – RRP €55

A high-technology product based on an advanced selection of Active Ingredients restoring the damage caused fundamentally by UVA & UVB which affects the skin's DNA with harmful effects to the skin's health: dehydration, lack of uniformity in colour and tone, loss of radiance, sagging, wrinkles and blemishes, premature ageing.

·       Stimulates the renewal of the cellular information and the biosynthesis of proteins and collagen.

·       Reduces the depth of wrinkles.

·       Improves the elasticity and firmness of the skin.

·       SPF 50 protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s UVA & UVB rays

CASAMRA URBAN PROTECT DAILY DEFENSE (DD) CREAM – RRP €32

The Casmara Research Centre has created the Urban Protect DD Cream. An innovative urban shield for the daily defense of the skin with a touch of colour. Thanks to its powerful anti-pollution and anti-aging active ingredients; and the innovative MULTI-LIGHT TECHNOLOGY S.P.F 30 (UVA-UVB and artificial light), it protects and treats the skin and at the same time evens out the skin tone with a natural finish.

·       Protects with broad-spectrum solar filters SPF 30 (UVA, UVB and blue light)

·       Perfects skin by colour-adapting with a natural finish

·       Treats the skin by stimulating the production of collagen & elastin and fights the signs of fatigue & tiredness

Remember, using sunscreen alone will not give enough protection against UV rays. It is important to use shade, clothes and sunglasses too. This way you get the best possible protection from UV damage.

The type of sunscreen you use is up to you and what you feel comfortable putting on your skin. Creams, lotions, gels and sprays all work but only if used properly.

The world was shocked and saddened by the passing of Riverdale star Luke Perry in March of this year.

The 53-year-old suffered a massive stroke and died several days later.

The actor, who had played Fred Andrews for three seasons, had three episodes of the season left to film.

The dilemma then was – how do the creators address it?

Do they write his character out, give an unexplained absence or kill him off?

They decided that for season three, they would just leave it be.

A post shared by Luke Perry (@lukeperry1980) on

The show said that Fred was away on business and Molly Ringwald came back as Archie's mother Mary so that the teenager had a parent to take care of him.

So, what's gonna happen in season 4 then?

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa revealed what was in store.

He said, ''When Luke passed, it was such a shock, and it was devastating and we kind of have to deal with the emotion of that, and then you have to figure out everything that comes next.''

He continued, ''We will definitely deal with it and address it on the show…we’ll do it at the top of Season 4. We just didn’t want to rush in and do something before we had fully figured it out.''

He added, ''We’d already written basically the end of the season, so rather than try to squeeze in something that’s so monumental and so important, we thought, ‘Let’s take the time to think about what we want to do, and do it right.'”

The good news is that Molly Ringwald looks like she'll be set to step into a series regular role.

Roberto  said, ''[We’ve told her], ‘You’re welcome back anytime, as often as you want and as much as you  want.''

He continued, ''We actually already had her scheduled to come back to Riverdale to visit Archie and Fred. When the tragedy happened, she said, ‘If you need me to stay, I’ll stay.’ And I said, “We’d love you to stay’…We’ve talked about Molly having a bigger presence next year to help her son.''

We'll have to sit tight as we wait for another season – hopefully Fred Andrews will get the send-off he deserves as he was such a beloved character.

It's not surprising time is a theme continually revisited by musical sisters Aly & AJ. Having achieved success in the entertainment industry as early adolescents, when the duo step back and examine their time and career achievements they do it differently than most adults.

Their 2018 album Ten Years, which came out after a decade long hiatus, felt simultaneously like a new beginning and a reintroduction- exploring the reckless fun of their 20s and the relationships of that era with a light and airy synth-pop throwback sound.

In 2018, they re-emerged with their first release in a decade, Ten Years – a collection of shimmering pop tracks that were brimming with a newfound sense of energy and excitement that was impossible to ignore. “Music became our friend again,” explained AJ. “Once we were able to take some time and embrace who we were and once we started writing again these last few years, we were able to find the direction we naturally lean,” she explains.

This will be the first baby for the couple, who got engaged just three months after the series ended after getting off to a bumpy beginning.

Jess was accused of cheating on Dom with fellow Love Island contestant Mike Thalassitis after they both got evicted from the villa, but the scandal was later put behind them.

The couple are also infamous for their staged wedding on Good Morning Britain back in February of 2018, but the live TV nuptials weren't legally binding.

Eight months later, they tied the knot officially and now there's a brand new family member on the way. We wish the newlyweds a warm congrats on the pregnancy, and can't wait for more baby bump photos.
