Ladies, I have wonderfully exciting news for you all!

Pop music sensation, JLO, has teamed up with the wonderful folks at Inglot to create a 70-piece makeup collection – and we're screaming.

Inglot Ireland stores across the country will be holding exclusive all day parties to celebrate the new JLO x INGLOT collection, which is landing in stores and online TOMORROW.

The 70-piece collection ranges from powders to lipsticks, shadows to eyelashes and cosmetic palettes and each store will have complimentary masterclasses at 1pm and 6pm to show guests how to use the products.

We had a sneak peak at the collection this afternoon – and it is OUTRAGEOUSLY gorgeous. Seriously.

You know the way JLO is renowned for her beautiful warm and glowy skin? Well this collection was created with that look in mind.

Prepare to get your glow on in a serious way.

All colours in the line were created and handpicked by Jennifer Lopez herself, with the star of the collection being the Freedom System palette that allows all you gorge ladies to create unique palettes with over 300,000 combination possibilities.

The expertly formulated products will range in shades from nude to glow, with a touch of smoky glam and the key products in the line will include an illuminator, a bronzer, a gloss and a mascara.

Director of Inglot Ireland (and all-round girlboss), Jane Swarbrigg said, ‘Team Inglot Ireland is home today after the most incredible weekend in Las Vegas. We met the main woman herself, Jennifer Lopez, who discussed her new Inglot collection in detail and chatted about her inspiration for the collaboration. We are super excited to unveil the range to the Irish public this Thursday!’

You and I both, Jane.

The Inglot South Anne Street Pro Store will host an exclusive masterclass by award winning makeup artist Keilidh Cashell from 6pm to 8pm who will recreate two signature JLO looks that were showcased at the VIP masterclass in Las Vegas with Jennifer’s makeup artist Scott Barnes.

Keilidh will show all guests how to achieve the signature JLO glow (yes please) and demonstrate an eye tutorial while giving an in-depth account of the new collection and tips from Scott himself.

FYI: tickets are limited and cost €20 and can be purchased by contacting Inglot South Anne street.

All stores will celebrate JLO with JLO music (say no more, tbh), balloons, party atmosphere and the first 25 customer will receive an exclusive Inglot shopper.

All customers who purchase the collection will be invited back in for a complimentary lesson and all customers of the collection will be entered into a competition to win a JLOxINGLOT hamper worth €150.

31-year-old model Rebekah Marine definitely embraced the bling on her wedding day.

Marie was born without her right forearm, but that hasn't stopped her from following her dreams and modelling for luxury brands such as Nordstrom or Tommy Hilfiger.

Usually, Marine wears a black prosthetic arm, but for the big day she decided to go all out- ordering a customized golden arm.

A post shared by Rebekah Marine (@rebekahmarine) on

"Drawing attention to it is representation of who I am now — confident, glowing and in love," Marine said, speaking to Inside Edition.

From New Jersey, the blushing bride was born with symbrachydactyly, an unexplained limb difference.

Growing up, Marine said that her differences never held her back. It wasn't until she went to college that her missing forearm drew questions.

"That’s when I dealt with a lot of staring and questions and harsh words," she recalled. "It was kind of like a wake-up call to me — 'Wow, I really am different.'"

However, her confidence grew and she learned to celebrate her difference through modelling.

So when it came time to wake down the aisle, she saw it as an opportunity to celebrate her prosthetic arm- by giving it a bling upgrade.

"It represents the growth I’ve had over the past decade," Marine explained. "To show there is another side of life, and you can be happy with the cards you were given."

Marine worked with prosthetic clinics for more than a year to develop a "wedding arm" that was both practical and fabulous. To help fund the arm she used sponsors and non-profit organisations. She hopes that her golden arm will help raise awareness about the importance of prosthetics.

She even wore the arm on her honeymoon to Mexico, where it glittered in the sun.

Absolutely stunning!

My genuine favourite swimsuit of the whole collection? The bottle green one with the cute little frill.

When someone calls you trashy you… prove them right?

Youtuber Amber Scholl is used to being called many things, trashy being among them. So she decided to prove the haters right- by literally making a dress out of bin bags.

And we have to admit, it is stunning.

In her YouTube tutorial, Amber takes her followers through a step by step making of the dress.

The materials, you can literally find under the sink. A body suit, bin bags, duck tape and a lot of glue.

Firstly she turned bits of bin bag into "trash roses", which she then glued on to the body suit.

Too pretty to believe that they usually end up in the bin!

Then she added the roses to an old skirt that she found in the back of her wardrobe.

And the result is less trash and more high class!

"This is the best DIY I've ever done," she says.

It's getting rave reviews, and we're inclined to agree.

Fancy trying it yourself? Check out the Youtube tutorial here!

It looks like the smoking ban may be introduced to outdoor areas where food is served. It is understood that the Government hope to make changes to the ban which was initially introduced in 1988, which stopped people from smoking in public buildings and buses.

In 2004, the government placed a ban on smoking in the workplace, and now 14 years later they hope to do the same for outdoor areas that serve food.

Members of Fine Gael have asked Minister for Health Simon Harris to consider the change of legislation.

James Reilly, who is the former minister for health, recommended the change in legislation. He believes that it is unacceptable for people to smoke in the same place where others are eating food.

During an interview on RTÉ's Today with Sean O'Rourke show, he said,  “Anyone spending their hard-earned money in a restaurant or café should be entitled to enjoy their meal in a smoke-free environment.”

He explained that people struggle to enjoy their meals outdoors, especially when the weather is nice, due to the excess number of people smoking.

Ireland has made strong progress since introducing smoking bans, however, Mr Reilly said they have had a knock-on effect. The former minister for health stressed the importance of banning people from smoking in the same area where people are eating.

He said, “While our smoking ban was a really progressive move and lauded internationally, unfortunately, one of the unintended consequences has been the prevalence of smokers in the outdoor areas of bars, cafés and restaurants.”

Do you agree with extending the smoking ban to outdoor areas where food is served?

We utterly adore Claire Foy on The Crown, and we will be so sad to see her go for the third series. Her performance is so compelling and, as the main character, we assumed the mum-of-one was the highest paid actor on set.

However, this wasn't the case, it was recently revealed. People were astounded to hear that her co-star, Matt Smith, was paid more than the talented actress. The show’s producers said that Matt received more due to his previous work on Doctor Who.

Thankfully Suzanne Mackie, who is the executive producer of The Crown, stated that from now on, “No one gets paid more than the Queen.”

Beyond being a learning moment for the series' producers, Claire says she has gleaned something from the pay gap issue as well.

"It definitely opened my eyes to a lot. And I certainly won't be naïve about those things," the 34-year-old explained to The Telegraph.

The Golden Globe winner reportedly earned $40,000 per episode. The figure for Matt's salary has not been disclosed.

With this in mind, Claire reflected, "It's really opened my eyes about what I am allowed to have an opinion about, and what I'm allowed to stand up for myself about.

"And I think that's really changed my approach to myself and other women in this industry. It's been only a positive thing – even though, embarrassing."

Matt Smith has also spoken out regarding the pay gap controversy and reiterated his support for his on-screen wife.

"Claire is one of my best friends, and I believe that we should be paid equally and fairly and there should be equality for all," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

The former Doctor Who star agreed with Claire about improving conditions for women in the industry, and beyond:

“Going forward, I think we should all bear in mind that we need to strive to make this better and a more even playing field for everyone involved — but not just in our industry, in all industries."

The series will return early next year, with Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies now taking over the regal roles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Ladies, it looks like you'll have to wave goodbye to wine, gin and cocktails in the run-up to your period because a study has found that alcohol worsens the symptoms of PMS.

The authors of the study revealed that women who consumed alcohol in the week before their period experienced more symptoms, including food cravings, tiredness, tender breasts and mood swings.

Out of the 47,000 participants, 45 percent said they noticed a ‘moderate' increase in symptoms after consuming alcohol.

Women who drank excessively stated that they noticed a substantial difference in the severity of their symptoms, especially with food cravings.

The team stated that many PMS cases are linked to a woman’s alcohol intake, “Heavy drinking may be associated with four percent of the PMS cases in the world and over nine percent in Europe.”

It is understood that six in every 10 women consume alcohol with 12.6 percent classed as heavy drinkers.

“If this association is of causal nature, eliminating heavy drinking in women would then prevent one in every 12 cases of PMS in Europe.”

Dr Bahi Takkouche, who is the study’s senior author, explained to Reuters Health, “We believe that alcohol increases PMS risk by altering the level of hormones, such as gonadotropin, during the menstrual cycle.

He advised women to cut down on their alcohol intake in the week before their period to reduce symptoms.

Some of the physical symptoms of PMS include bloating, headaches, tender breasts and backache.

Other women may experience emotional symptoms including anxiety, feelings of sadness, mood swings, sleep problems and have trouble concentrating.

Luckily, there are ways to manage these symptoms from reducing your salt intake to exercising more, and from taking painkillers to cutting out alcohol in the run-up to your period.

The recent warm weather may have attracted you to a traditional Irish activity known simply as 'cans.'

The call goes out across Whats App groups and before you know it, you're by a body of water, slathered in sun screen with an after-work can in your hand.

If the most recent bout of sunshine had you questioning you drink of choice, then we have some news for you.

A post shared by Jane Casey (@jaincasey) on

There's a new kid on the block when it comes to the refrigerated section of the alcohol aisle.

Developed to cater to the preferred taste of the Irish cider-drinker, Appleman's is vying for the top spot when it comes to our drink of choice.

The tins promise a true apple taste – not too sweet and not too dry.

'Cider drinkers were starved of choice for years but now, with the launch of Appleman’s and the growing popularity of Orchard Thieves, we are finally able to say that Irish people have choice in cider,' Emma-Jane McKeown, Appleman’s Senior Brand Manager, said.

And with only 200 calories per can (that's less than a large glass of wine btw), it's a handy tipple for anyone watching their syns.

More good weather for cans on the canal weather, please – just remember to clean up after yourselves.
