A statement released at the time of the incident denied the allegations.

Williams is accused of allegedly raping a 20-year-old woman in a hotel in Wolverhampton, after a concert at a nightclub.

According to The Irish Sun: “They agreed to go back to his hotel with him and a friend he was with.'

'One girl knocked on the door saying she wanted to retrieve her stuff and was let back in. It’s then she says she was raped. Police were called to the hotel shortly afterwards to a report of rape.'

A second man has been charged with the alleged sexual assault.

West Midlands Police confirmed the charge.

During Love Island's eight-week run this summer, we often joked than an Irish version of the show would be delightful.

Set on the Aran Islands perhaps, with a cast of characters from up and down the country.

We never thought an Irish Love Island could happen – but now it seems that it could be in the works.

Virgin Media, who recently took over TV3, are reportedly in talks to create an Irish version with an unnamed production company.

According to The Irish Daily Star, Virgin Media boss Bill Malone said that 'It has been rumoured about an Irish Love Island and it has been discussed.'

'I can say no more.'

Kylie Jenner may seem like she has the world at her feet, with a new baby and a makeup empire that is estimated to soon make her a billionaire.

However, in a personal Snapchat video, Kylie shared that she has not always been treated well by her peers – or the public.

'Half of you guys think I'm weird. And the other half think I'm funny,' she said, in a video shared by older sister Kendall.

'But I've been bullied since I've been 9. From the whole world it feels like sometimes.'

Kylie went on to say that the video was not to be taken as a 'pity party' for her, but as a reminder to everyone out there who faces bullies that they are not alone, and not to change their unique way of being because of the negativity of others.

'I think I've done a really great job in handling all of this. But there're bullies everywhere. So this just a little like Snapchat to tell whoever with their own bullies that the only opinion that really matters is yours and to never change.'

Previously, Kylie has used her platform to start anti-bullying movements.

Taking to her website, she wrote: 'Growing up in the public eye made me the target of bullying. When I was younger, it went on at school and even though I've graduated, now it still happens online.'

'Yes, it hurts, but I've learned to fight it. Fighting it sometimes means ignoring it, which can be really hard to do. For me the key has always been to surround myself with love, support and positivity.'

'I've also learned that if you feel confident, it doesn't matter what someone else thinks. Everyone's got an opinion, but I challenge you to be more than it.'

Netflix has revamped Sabrina from the Archie Comics, and the 90s sitcom, but gave it one dark makeover.

Say your farewells to Melissa Joan Hart's version of the character as Kiernan Shipka takes centre stage as Spellman for this horror-filled, witchcraft series.

If you're a Sabrina fan, you're in luck – Netflix is running at least two seasons of the new show, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

And if the trailer has you wondering if this series has similar feels to Riverdale, you're not wrong.

The brain behind the high-school drama has been drawn-in for the revamp.

When the 2011 film The Help opened in cinemas, it divided critics. The book of the same name was a bestseller, and its movie adaptation achieved similar success at the box office (it grossed over $200 million), but as many pointed out, it was a film far from perfect. This is largely due to its depiction of the women of colour in the movie and racism in America as a whole.

The film recounts the story of a young white woman and aspiring journalist Eugenia ‘Skeeter’ Phelan, played by Emma Stone and her relationship with two black maids, Aibileen Clark, played by Viola Davis, and Minny Jackson, played by Octavia Spencer, during the Civil Rights Movement in 1963 Jackson, Mississippi.

And despite the fact that Spencer won Best Supporting Actress at the 84th Academy Awards for her role with Davis receiving a nomination, she has told the New York Times that her role in the film is actually one she regrets playing now.

“Have I ever done roles that I’ve regretted?” Davis mused.

“I have – and The Help is on that list.”

She was quick to point out that while the movie had many positives – including the friendship and bonds she formed with its cast and collaborators – she felt that it wasn't truly the maid's voices who were heard in the end.

"[The experience] and the people involved were all great. The friendships that I formed are ones that I’m going to have for the rest of my life. I had a great experience with these other actresses, who are extraordinary human beings. And I could not ask for a better collaborator than Tate Taylor (the director).”

"I just felt that at the end of the day that it wasn’t the voices of the maids that were heard,” she explained.

“I know Aibileen. I know Minny. They’re my grandma. They’re my mom. And I know that if you do a movie where the whole premise is, I want to know what it feels like to work for white people and to bring up children in 1963, I want to hear how you really feel about it. I never heard that in the course of the movie.”

This isn't the first time Davis has shared her concerns with the film. Speaking around the time of the film's release, she said much of the same in an interview,  “I love the fact that [Emma Stone’s character] Eugenia said ‘I am going to write a story from the maids’ perspective of what it feels like to work with these white women’. Operative term being THE MAID’S PERSPECTIVE. I don’t feel like it was from our perspective, that’s the problem I had with it. And I had it from the very beginning.”

Dublin Town Fashion put on quite a show last night, debuting the hottest autumn looks selling this season.

Sporting striking yellows and reds, models strutted their stuff down the runway wearing gorgeous garments from Pennys, River Island, Vila, and basically every clothing store that resides in Dublin.

But the star of this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival was none other than the talented Michelle McAuley from Edinburgh College of Art.

This was no easy feat for the young fashion star as the competition was tougher than ever. The ten finalists were neck-in-neck when the judges were trying to narrow down a single winner.

Competitors showed off a wide array of unique and fab clothing including:

a futuristic, fierce pull-over by Heather O’Connor, a utility-inspired shift dress by Tara Woulfe and a colourful, washed-out cloak and pant ensemble by Rita Zachary.

And we loved Olaymi Edun, Daniela Vasilean, and Susan Rogers' long, bold dresses that dominated the stage with their innovative looks.

Anna O’Doherty’s green and silver layers reminded us of one of our favourite films, The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

Katy McCullagh from Ulster University designed a sleek, red pantsuit with gorgeous sheer sleeves, and Colette Downey stood out as the only competitor to create clothing for a male model. The long-lengthed cloak placed patches of leather on wool, emitting cyber-punk vibes.

But the judges were ruthless in their decision, choosing Michelle as the Young Designer of the Year 2018.

The young winner’s stunning red, knitted dress represented Irish heritage and traditional crafts by combining various different textiles together into one piece.

The dedicated fashion superstar studied basket weaving, cable knitting and linen weaving to create the unique, rouge ribbed dress, according to Evoke.

Michelle was all smiles when she took the stage with an arm full of flowers and proudly posed with the model wearing her Frankenstein beauty.

Congratulations to the young, innovative designer! We can’t wait to see what you create next.

Jessica, who will be joining Bláthnaid Treacy for the run, has spoken out about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-partner and she is urging others to help raise funds for the charity’s 24hr National Freephone Helpline.

Women’s Aid, the national charity supporting women and children affected by domestic violence in Ireland is launching the first-ever Purple Run to raise those much-need funds – so where will this brilliant event take place?

The starting line will be on Tuesday 25th September 2018 at 7.30pm on Sandymount Strand, Dublin 4 (Sean Moore Park end).

This is such an important event to put your support behind as Women’s Aid do amazing work, responding to, on average, 50 calls a day from women experiencing emotional, physical, sexual and financial abuse from their partners, husbands, and boyfriends.

Abuse survivor Jessica, a Dublin mum of three children, wants people to come out and support this cause.

“Since I spoke out on Prime Time in February this year, lots of women have reached out to me and some of them are coming to run with me on the day. The run for me represents where so many women are on their own journeys escaping domestic violence. Some women can run others can’t but with the right people supporting you we can all get to the finish line!” she said.

Then put on the LiftActiv Collagen Specialist Day cream – which will help to stimulate the cells responsible for collagen production.

It's infused with agave and smells sensational, and the bio-peptides within the cream are the hard workers which boosts the natural proteins in the skin.

In a long-awaited report into the Cervical Check scandal, health expert Dr Gabriel Scally has commented on the state of the national cervical cancer screening service.

The author of the new report into the CervicalCheck debacle described it as so poorly run it was “doomed to fail” and said some of the treatment of women “bordered on misogynism,” according to the report.

The past number of months have been a time of great distress and pain for the 221 women who developed cervical cancer and the families of 18 women who have died – as a result of the failings of those involved in the programme. The scandal emerged after it was revealed that over 200 women had their cervical smear results audited by Cervical Check – but were never told of the discrepancies in these results.

“A whole-system failure” meant women were not told about an audit showing problems with past smear tests until after they were diagnosed with cancer. As a result, this meant they potentially missed out on earlier interventions.

Some women, such as Vicky Phelan, waited years to be told she had been misdiagnosed years earlier. She is now battling terminal cancer.

The report also found that the suffering of the women and their families was "aggravated by some doctors."

"The anger of many woman and families about how they have been treated in respect of disclosure is intense and raw,” Scally wrote. He used words such as inappropriate, unsatisfactory, damaging, hurtful and offensive to describe the manner in which some women were told about their results.

He did say, however, that the continuation of cervical screening in the coming months was of crucial importance. “My scoping inquiry team has found no reason why the existing contracts for laboratory services should not continue until the new HPV regime is introduced.”He also added that he is satisfied with the quality management processes in the current laboratory sites used as part of the screening service.

Responding to the report, the HSE said they would respond to the report and those affected once they had time to "read and review it with care."
