Another day, another unsolicited d*ck pic, right?

Whether you're happily single or actively dating, receiving an unwanted d*ck pic from someone who believes his genitals are worthy of a snap, is certainly far from rare.

Considering the plight of those who are on the receiving end of such images, a Swedish web designer has created a website which essential acts as a d*ck pic tracker.

"The DickPicLocator is really just a service that has been waiting to happen. Long overdue, I would add," said creator Per Axbom. "I combined my understanding of women being subjected to dick pics on a daily basis with my knowledge of what data is contained within many images today."

His decision to develop the DickPicLocator was born of a desire to give the receiver the upper hand, with Per saying: "While I move some of the power balance to the recipient, I do hand over ownership of the consequences to them as well."

"In my head I probably imaged that many of the perpetrators would be known to the recipient and they would handle it with a phone call. The information is probably a great addition to a police report, but I have no way of knowing how it will be used."

So, how does it work exactly?

The tracker app scans the data contained within the image and establishes the GPS coordinates of where it originated – an approach which Per admits he worried about in the development stage of the process.

Speaking to The Local, he said: "I did worry before launching what types of people may react in a hateful manner and what verbal spew I may have to endure."

"Then I realised my fear was embarrassingly cowardly given what I know about what women cope with that is easily ten times worse and constantly gnawing away at their self-esteem," he added.

Since its launch last week, the site has been used more than 5,000 times.

Paddy's Day food specialities usually consist of green takeaway shakes and bacon and cabbage lunches, but one Dublin doughnut shop has come up with something a little more creative.

OffBeat Doughnuts has created a bespoke range of St Patrick's Day themed doughnuts for the upcoming weekend of festivities.

A post shared by Offbeat Donuts (@offbeatdonuts) on

The Paddy's Day themed doughnuts come in a number of patriotic shapes, including shamrocks and the tri-colour.

We're also obsessing over the rainbow doughnut, which includes a suagr-lace rainbow and icing clouds.

Don't even get us started on those little edible pots of gold.

The doughnuts are available today and tomorrow from all five of OffBeat's locations.

St Patrick's Day is a sacred tradition for Irish folk, and luckily it's celebrated globally.

However, there's nothing quite like the nostalgia and authenticity of an Irish Paddy's Day parade.

If you're living abroad or will be on your holiday's this Saturday, but can't stand the thought of missing out on the St. Patrick’s Festival Parade, you're in luck.

A post shared by DELYSIA (@delish_del) on

This year, RTE Player is streaming the festival online, so you can watch wherever you are, as long as you have 4G or a Wifi connection.

Presented by Aidan Power, Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh and Des Cahill, the St. Patrick's Day parade will be broadcast to the masses, even if you don't have access to RTE1 or 2.

Kicking off at 2.15pm Irish time, the live stream will allow those of us away from home to feel the patriotism.

This year Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham will lead the parade as Grand Marshall.

The parade theme is 'Home Is Where the Heart Is,' so the live stream could not be nay more fitting for those who have emigrated.

You can catch it here tomorrow.

Yesterday, Electric Picnic made their biggest announcement of the year – their headline acts.

Taking to the stage in September are Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack and N.E.R.D.

We don't know about you, but we thought the line-up was pretty epic, and clearly most of Ireland did too, as the tickets have sold out today.

Acts such as Dua Lipa, The Kooks and George Ezra will also be making an appearance.

More acts have yet to be announced.

A post shared by Electric Picnic (@epfestival) on

'All tickets for Electric Picnic 2018 are now sold out,' reads a statement on the EP website.

'Dedicated Picnickers not wanting to miss out on this year's festival have snapped up all remaining tickets.'

Here's to hoping that anyone who didn't get one yet manages to find one!

We're sad to say that snow might be on the horizon for this year's St Patrick's Say festivities.

A status Yellow weather warning is currently in place for Leinster, Cavan and Monaghan was snow showers loom.

The warning will be active from now until midnight on Sunday.

'Advance warning for cold weather this weekend with low-temperatures, snow-showers, snow-accumulation mainly Saturday night and Sunday,' reads Met Eireann's description of the impending weather.

Temperatures as low as -4C are expected around Dublin.

While the snow may cause transport issues for many, hopefully we don't see a repeat of the Beast from the East.

If you're anything like us, you were on tenderhooks during the Netflix Original series The Sinner.

The psychological thriller turned murder mystery had us on the edge of our seats, as the series followed Cora (played by the divine Jessica Biel) as she navigates her inner psyche to discover her motivation for a shocking murder.

No spoilers here, because everyone deserves to watch this show with fresh eyes.

Fans were clamouring for a second series, but with the first storyline ending with finality, many wondered if The Sinner 2 would ever be a possibility.

Thankfully, word from the Netflix Gods is that the series is coming back for a second series.

According to Spoiler TV, the show is returning with a new horrific case for Detective Ambrose to solve.

A post shared by The Sinner (@thesinnerusa) on

'In the wake of the Cora Tannetti case, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is called back to his hometown in distant rural New York to assess a disturbing new crime: an 11-year-old boy's horrific double-homicide and his seemingly inexplicable motive,' reads the description

'As comes to realise there's nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, his investigation leads him straight into the hidden darkness of his hometown and pitting him against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets.'

We have chills down our spines already just thinking about it.

There's no word yet on a release date, but hopefully Netflix will turn it around ASAP.

Rihanna has called out social media platform Snapchat after the company ran an ad featuring the star that was in decidedly bad taste.

The animation featured a picture of Rihanna and Chris Brown, and asked users to vote which one they would rather 'slap' or 'punch.'

The ads calls to memory the incident in 2009, when Rihanna pressed charges against Chris Brown for assault.

Taking to Instagram stories, she said: 'Now Snapchat, I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there!'

'But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess. I’d love to call it ignorance but I know you ain’t that dumb!'

You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke of it!!!'

A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on

'This isn't about my personal feelings, cause I don't have much of them…but all the women, children and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven't made it out yet…you let us down!'

The app responded to the criticism in a statement, according to The Verge: 'This advertisement is disgusting and never should have appeared on our service.'

'We are so sorry we made the terrible mistake of allowing it through our review process. We are investigating how that happened so that we can make sure it never happens again.'

Following the backlash, Snapchat stock fell by 5pc, in a similar manner as to when Kylie Jenner recently posted a negative tweet about the app.

US President Donald Trump has described the Irish as “truly wonderful people” and revealed his intention to visit the island as early as next year.

The leader made the comments during a meeting with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar as part of the Irish government's annual St. Patrick's Day trip.

Speaking to reporters in The Oval Office, he said: “It’s my honour to have the very popular Irish Taoiseach with us.”

When asked if he had any plans to visit Ireland, the president replied: “I will, I love it, I have property there.”

It's understood the two leaders discussed trade, military and cyber issues in a meeting that lasted around 40 minutes.

In the past, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said he would raise LGBT rights if the opportunity presented itself in the White House, however, ahead of the meeting today, he said it would not be possible to fit everything in.

Yesterday, senator Aodhán Ó Ríordáin released a statement condemning the Taoiseach's decision to extend an invite to President Trump.

We are beyond excited about the Sabrina The Teenage Witch reboot. The spellbinding series was one of our favourite shows back in the 90s.

The new series will be a lot darker than the original show. Taking big inspiration from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics.

The series has cast their Sabrina with Kieran Shipka being confirmed to play Sabrina, and Wonder Woman star Lucy Davis set to star as Aunt Hilda.

Taking on the role of Sabrina’s aunt Zelda is Homeland actress Miranda Otto.

One popular Disney Channel star has been cast as the one and only Harvey Kinkle.

Deadline Hollywood has shared that Ross Lynch has joined the cast. He will play “the prince charming of this dark fairy tale, Harvey is the son of a coal miner, a dreamboat and a dreamer, completely unaware of the dark forces conspiring to keep him and Sabrina apart.”

The dark coming-of-age tale will follow Sabrina as she adapts to life as half-human and half-witch.

Ross Lynch will take over from Nate Richert, who played Harvey in the original 90s series. The actor has big shoes to fill as Harvey won the hearts of millions.

Netflix has ordered two seasons of the untitled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina adaptation, but they have yet to confirm an air date.

OK, let’s be straight. We’re all fecking broke.

From rent, to utilities, to public and private student loans alike, there is simply a lot we have to pay for each month.

Yes, it’s hard. And yes, you will sometimes feel like you need to crawl into a black hole in order to save yourself a few quid.

However, there are some things in life that you should spend your money on. These things will not only enrich your life, but they’ll make you feel a little bit better about yourself too.

1. Treat yo’self

We know, it’s a strange place to start, but the best place to start.

Sometimes, money problems can get us really down, so if you killed it at work this week or did a deadly presentation in college, treat yo’self girl.

Whether it’s buying yourself a new top, or going for a cocktail with your BFF, take some time out to just celebrate you.

2. Education

Yep, you knew this one would come up but honestly, it’s so worth it.

Continuing with your education, whether it’s doing a masters degree, a night-time course, or even schooling yourself with the help of a good book; it’ll all be invaluable if you want to advance your career. And with reputable institutions making it available to pursue Graduate & Post-Graduate Courses online, you’ll be able to save up more than you would if you choose to further your education through traditional college.

Just think, that internship in Paris would be in your pocket after a few French lessons!

3. Your home

Now, we’re not saying splash out on a fancy apartment in the city centre or put down a mortgage on a country house. But putting time and effort (and a bit of moola) into your home will make all the difference.

It’s where you spend your down time, so you need to be happy in it. Buy a few fairy lights, some deliciously-smelling candles, and a cosy blanket to throw over your bed and you’re good to go.

Silk pillowcases FTW.

4. Night out with friends

You might not have expected this one to pop up either, but you know you want it.

If you’ve been saving for a couple of months, then going out was probably off the cards for you. But sometimes, you just need a few drinks with friends to make everything better.

So, dust off that LBD you’ve been dying to wear, grab your heels and head out for a night on the tiles.

5. Good quality food

You might look at this one and think, WTF being broke doesn’t mean I can’t eat, but we’re talking about fresh produce and great quality.

Having a €2 frozen pizza for dinner might seem like you’re saving money, but you’re going to be hungry an hour later and feel stodgy AF too.

So, make sure you’re fuelling yourself with good food that will make you feel healthy and energised every single day.

6. Experiences

Whether it’s a concert, a day trip to Glendalough or a weekend in Spain, you get so much more from experiences than material goods.

A trip away will give you memories that will last a lifetime, and you don’t need to break the bank to do so.

Check out Groupon for deals, or Booking.com for low prices. Ryanair has also recently launched deals on flights and hotels so take a gander over there too.

The internet is a weird place, and stashed among the usual Instagram travel blogs and Boards communities discussing everything from eyelash extensions to gaming are hidden caches of hatred.

Among these hidden subcommittees is a cohort of men connecting from across the world, and their mutual topic interest is their own 'involuntary celibacy.'

Known as Incels for short, the community members complain of not being able to secure sexual encounters with women, and completely blame 'the way women are these days' for their issues.

According to Urban Dictionary, the phrase is an 'abbreviated term for the compound 'Involuntary Celibate'.

'In Darwinian terms a person deemed 'least fit to reproduce', manifested in social terms as someone unable to copulate due to the absence of even a single willing partner.'

'More typically male than female. Hangs around on internet forums generally blaming females for this undesirable condition.'

Many Incels see women as a societal scourge, and refer to them as 'femoids' in a bid to objectify and dehumanise them.

Their twisted view portrays women as mere sex objects who simply are not doing their job within society for forcing celibacy on community members.

Basically, the communities are made up of men who can't secure consenting sexual encounters or develop meaningful relationships, and boy are they bitter about it.

A post shared by @siting.here.alone on

Incels feel that women are self-absorbed, selfish and stupid, and that they are driven to relationships based purely on looks or means alone.

Referring to attractive women as 'Staceys' and attractive men as 'Chads' they mock and share 'real life' stories of their experiences with women, and wallow in self pity about their lack of sexual experience.

They often glorify frustration-oriented murderers, such as American rampage killer Elliot Roger, who went on a mass shooting spree in California in 2014 after despising the way he was treated by women.

Dubbing him 'Saint Elliot,' some Incels relate to his actions.

The disturbed community once held court in a busy Reddit forum where they openly discussed their feelings about women, but the forum has since been removed.

In it's place, 'Incel Tears' has arisen, a place where posts made by Incels are debated. The original community is also moving into the YouTube space, creating videos about the Incel way of life.

Incel community is one which is seeped in dangerous misogyny, and unlike many dark corners of the internet, it's coming to light thanks to the Reddit ban.
