The Sinner season three will be hitting our screens.

USA Network has confirmed the good news and announced that Matt Bomer will be going head-to-head with Bill Pullman’s Detective Harry Ambrose.

If you're not familiar with Matt, you might recognise him from the Will & Grace reboot as McCoy Whitman or as Andy from AHS' Freak Show (you know, the guy whose arm was sawed off by Dandy in the trailer?)

Well, he's set to take on the role of Jamie, who is an upstanding Dorchester resident and expectant father who looks to Ambrose for support after the accident.

This new season will follow ''Detective Harry Ambrose as he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York. Ambrose uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.''

Matt follows leads Jessica Biel and Carrie Coon, who took on the main roles in the first and second seasons.

Will  he match their unreal performances?

Matt took to social media to post about the fantastic news.

Matt's fans were delighted with the news.

While another said, ''Cannot wait. Absolutely love this show and love your work so I’m well happy.''

Now we'll just re-watch the first two seasons to get pumped up for this one…

Jessica Biel is sending some serious lurrrrrve vibes Justin Timberlake's way. The married pair are absolutely adorable, and share three-year-old son Silas together.

Biel, who recently produced and starred in the incredible Netflix show The Sinner, has now uploaded the CUTEST message to her husband, and we can't stop weeping.

The 36-year-old actress posted a photo of the happy couple smiling underwater, and captioned the note;

"Since the days of embarrassing pink ruffled bikinis and underwater photo shoots, you have been infusing my life with so much joy and laughter that I blame YOU for my smile lines. But I wouldn’t trade them for the world."

She continued; "I wear them with pride knowing that I am the luckiest human around to have the honour of hearing your jokes, your words, your voice, every day of my life."

"Happy birthday to the man of my blue ocean dreams. I love you." OH. MY. SWEET. LORD. The man of my blue ocean dreams? That's some poetry right there.

Timberlake is celebrating his 38th birthday with his wife, and headed to the theatre to watch a performance of To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway,

The singer is currently wrapping up his Man of the Woods national tour, which has a show slated on the day of his actual birthday.

Their big night out seemed to take a lot out of Biel, who fell asleep in the car, much to Justin's amusement. He posted a hilarious video singing happy birthday to himself, while his wife is fully in dreamland beside him.

He added the cheeky caption; “Gotta work tomorrow for my bday so wifey really going all out tonight…” She playfully replied; “I’m just preparing for our big night out. Just preparing.”

Thursday night's Madison Square Garden performance was originally meant to happen in October, but Timberlake had ongoing bruised vocal cords and was forced to postpone it.

The former *NSYNC member previously had an operation to remove his throat nodules back in 2005.

The Hollywood pair tied the knot in 2012 in a magical ceremony in Puglia, Italy. The pair always say that laughter is the core of their relationship, with a joke first bringing them together.

Timberlake revealed in his first book, Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Meback in November that the duo met at a Hollywood party and clicked immediately.

The SexyBack singer wrote;

“When I met Jess, it was undeniable how beautiful she is. I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her."

"She laughed, and I noticed, all of a sudden, and in the way where you wonder if a person’s like you, if they have a very dry, dark sense of humour, too," he said.

Justin couldn't stop thinking about Jessica after their first meeting; “I’m kind of really interested in that girl. There was just something about that girl. Kind of interested in that girl. Goddamn it.”

The actress later came to a show during his FutureSex/LoveSounds tour. He finally asked for her number after offering her a lift in his tour bus.; “Then the Golden Globes came up, and that’s when we planned on seeing each other."

“We’ve had a lot of unforgettable times,” Timberlake added. “She’s become a huge influence on my life, and I have such an admiration for her, especially seeing her as a mother now.”

The romance didn't stop there, with him gushing about her influence; “But I had admiration for her before. She’s a very good writer. She’s a poet. She’s a tremendous actor. She’s funny. Very funny. And she’s one of the most patient people I’ve ever met… She changed me. She changed my life.”

AWWWWWW.

We were hooked when Jessica Biel gave a moving performance in the first season of The Sinner.

And when the tantalising murder-mystery unravelled itself to a neat finish in the finale, most thought the show would be a one-season deal as a mini-series.

However, (thank god) this is not the case. The Sinner season two is out today on Netflix, and we have got the scoop on how it holds up to Cora’s story.

Good news for fans – it is just as epic!

We previewed the first four episodes and must warn you – it will pull you in in the first episode. I had a total binge-fest, watching them all in two days.

So, what’s it about? (Don’t worry, I won’t give away any spoilers.)

The story picks up with our favourite Detective Harry Ambrose – the one who cared enough about Cora’s story to help her recall her traumatic past and begin to heal.

The first episode opens with a double homicide and, once again, by a suspect you’d never expect. Heather, a rookie detective whose dad was BFFs with Harry back in the day, asks him to help her on the case.

So, the detective returns to his hometown with reluctance, already setting up the small town stereotype we are used to in thrillers. Everyone knows everyone but someone’s been lying about who they are.

But there’s a crucial reason that the newest season scored 96 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes. The show takes this murder-mystery stigma and flips it on its head.

Every twist and turn reveals a shocking new detail that adds a bit more shape to the killer’s motive while at the same time revealing a deeper and more sinister presence in the community.

The presence of a commune on the outskirts of town is making everyone uneasy, and Carrie Coon plays their leader brilliantly.

Unlikely ties, a harrowing past, disappearances, and a possible cult fill the plot of the newest season, causing more and more intrigue.

One of my scary movie pet peeves is a predictable plot and that usually happens when writers spoon-feed the audience clues and over explain.

The brilliance of this season is that the storyline, as intricate and complex as it is, remains focused and perfectly paced. We find out just enough to keep watching and slowly connect the dots as Harry and Heather do themselves.

It also creates a careful balance by weaving in Harry’s own past as he reflects on growing up in the town, fleshing out the darkness in the “do-gooder's” past and humanising him.

We learn that Heather has lost her girlfriend to the deep tentacles that lay beneath their small town as well, and we anxiously await that satisfying moment that it all clicks into place.

Everyone has lost someone but why exactly? What evils surround the members of this small community, and what are they capable of?

The show plays with your assumptions, toying with what we’ve become accustomed to in thrillers in a way that will have you questioning every hunch you thought was truth.

The why-dunnit is a must-watch and is the perfect show to binge this weekend.

So surround yourself with snacks and curl up on the couch because you won’t be able to stop watching The Sinner.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are one of our favourite celebrity couples. The parents have been married for six years and are more in love than ever.

However, like every couple, the duo had to endure those early days of awkward dates, cheesy flirting and confusion.

Justin opened up about the first time he met his now wife and there’s no doubt he was smitten from the get-go.

He shared the momentous moment in his book Hindsight.

“When I met Jess, it was undeniable how beautiful she is,” he gushed.

The Cry Me A River singer said Jessica’s sense of humour stole his heart when they first met at a Hollywood party: “I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her. She laughed, and I noticed, all of a sudden, and in the way where you wonder if a person’s like you, if they have a very dry, dark sense of humour, too.”

That moment won the Can’t Stop The Feeling over: “There was just something about that girl. Kind of interested in that girl,” he confessed.

He may be an award-winning singer, but even Justin was nervous about asking The Sinner actress out: “I had to psych myself up. I had to remind myself that I was me — giving myself a pep talk, shadowboxing with myself, rubbing my own shoulders.”

The dad admitted they didn’t get together until the Golden Globes. Both Jessica and Justin were very wary of getting too attached to one another: “We were both still seeing other people, keeping ourselves safe from getting hurt, from really putting ourselves out there. It took a bit for both of us to admit to ourselves that we were really, really into each other.”

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Fans were clamouring for a second series, but with the first storyline ending with finality, many wondered if The Sinner 2 would ever be a possibility.

Thankfully, word from the Netflix Gods is that the series is coming back for a second series.

According to Spoiler TV, the show is returning with a new horrific case for Detective Ambrose to solve.

'In the wake of the Cora Tannetti case, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is called back to his hometown in distant rural New York to assess a disturbing new crime: an 11-year-old boy's horrific double-homicide and his seemingly inexplicable motive,' reads the description

'As comes to realise there's nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, his investigation leads him straight into the hidden darkness of his hometown and pitting him against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets.'

We have chills down our spines already just thinking about it.

There's no word yet on a release date, but hopefully Netflix will turn it around ASAP.

Some TV shows come out of nowhere, take you by complete surprise and ultimately knock your bloody socks off.

The Sinner is one of them.

Starring Jessica Biel, the uber-dark thriller seeks to understand why a seemingly stable young mum murders a young man without provocation during a trip to the beach with her husband and child.

Perfectly paced and utterly compelling, this eight-part series has set Twitter ablaze, with social media users only dying to contribute to the dialogue surrounding the production.

We mean, take a look at this…
