We've been waiting a while for this.

James Corden's Carpool Karaoke has been a huge hit since it first debuted on his American version of The Late Late Show.

The TV segment was such a smash that it got commissioned for an entire show by Apple… and now the trailer is finally here.

Featuring everyone's favourite prince, Will Smith will be one of the first celebs to join the series (he better sing the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), as well as Metallica, John Legend, Ariana Grande and Alicia Keys.

The trailer sees Will crashing a wedding (imagine!) and John Legend grooving with a gospel choir in the middle of a launderette. Standard.

All we know so far is that the series is "coming soon," but by the look of this clip, it's going to be class.

On a blustery Tuesday morning a few weeks ago, I received an invitation from L.O.V Cosmetics to "star as an icon" in my own "personal beauty cover shoot."

For years, I worked alongside stylists in Dublin and took part in everything from commercial photoshoots, to fashion shows and TV styling.

I was always the one on the floor, pinning the models' clothes, taping the bottoms of their shoes and quickly fixing their hair if it went askew, so when I read the invitation, my first reaction was uncontrollable laughter followed by, 'eh, noooo'.

But, after a bit of thought (and a lot of encouragement from my colleagues), I said 'why not?' and confirmed the beauty shoot.

Now, I'm no model. I'm barely 5ft, my skin has scars from years of horrid spots and I can only take a good picture in selfie-mode, so to say I was a little bit apprehensive on the morning of the shoot was an understatement.

I knew various other journalists would be joining me on the day, and some have been in the industry for years, so walking into Bond Street Studios with my red face and choppy hair was a tad scary.

But, that anxiety soon disappeared as I met the team I would be working with that day. From the make-up artists, the photographer, the hairstylists and the PRs, I felt extremely comfortable in my own skin, and chatted away as if I had been doing this thang for years.

My make-up artist, Sarah Lanagan, eased me into the morning, and along with doing a stellar job on my face, she also gave me some great advice about which L.O.V make-up would best suit my skin, how to use it properly (don't just lash foundation onto your skin), and how to achieve the ultimate glam look.

My next port-of-call was the hair station, where I met two lovely hair stylists from Kazumi Hair Salon. When I was an assistant stylist, this was usually the time I would scramble to get everything together, bombing around the studio to make sure all was set up and good to go for when the model's gruiage was set and ready.

But on that day, I wasn't the one running around. And that was weird.

I was chatting and having a laugh with the ladies… which strangely made me feel uneasy because I knew it was coming close to photoshoot time.

And once my soft curls were firmly hairsprayed down, that is when I started to feel anxious.

It was time for the camera.

I hopped in front of the lens and bright lights, with a queasy feeling in my tummy, and smiled.

FLASH. F*ck. FLASH. Ah…

I didn't know how to pose. I didn't know what direction to turn my head. My cheeks were getting jitters from trying to keep a smile on my face. I felt awkward and as if I was an imposter.

But, as the photoshoot went on, I eased into it. With direction from Kip Carroll, the man behind the picture, I was able to figure out what angle works well and how to get a killer jaw-line.

Being behind the camera is fun, but hard work. Being in front of the camera, felt extremely glamorous and I ended up becoming giddy with excitement as the shoot went on.

When we finished, Kip gave me a little sneak peek at the photos, and I was actually happy. I thought I'd look like the awkward kid I used to be in my school photographs – but what I was looking at was the exact opposite. I looked confident.

Leaving Bond Street Studios, I felt good – completely reversed to how I felt walking in.

I met fabulous professionals, learned an abundance of beauty tips, and all in all, heightened my self-esteem – even if it was just for that morning.

That day, I learned that being behind the camera is my place to be, but I'm glad I went in front of it for once. And to say I'm happy with the outcome is an understatement.

It's fair to say that countless people are still struggling to come to terms with Donald Trump's ascension to the Oval Office.

And while we all know his feet are firmly under the table at the White House, many are reluctant to award him the same level of respect garnered by his predecessors by acknowledging his official title – President of the United States of America.

So, with a nod to the press and public's abbreviation of the title (POTUS,obvs), some wily sorts out there in the Twitosphere have set about re-working it to illustrate their disdain for his position.

Ladies, without further ado, we give you SCROTUS – So-Called Ruler of the United States.

And Twitter is, unsurprisingly, having a field day over it.

With an ominous wind blowing through our near-empty bank accounts last month, shopping wasn’t exactly high on our list of priorities in January.

(Sleeping and waiting for this cold, broke and miserable vibe to blow over was.)

But with the first pay check of the New Year landing in our laps in recent weeks, we’re back on form when it comes to a little retail therapy, and thankfully dresses.ie has us covered.

From band tees to floral creations, we’ve let our imaginations run wild in recent days, and despite being more than willing to blow an entire month’s salary on a new wardrobe, the good folk behind the website won’t have it.

With skater dresses going for just €29 and duster jackets a steal at €40, we think we’re millionaires with all this leftover moola lying around.

And without further ado, we give you our top picks.

Choker Neck T-shirt Dress €16.00

At just €16, this versatile piece is an absolute steal.

Whether you team it with skinny jeans and ankle boots or opt for the bare leg look, the choker neck T-shirt dress will see you through the entire year.

Floral Embroidered Skater. €29.00

We're suckers for a skater dress here at SHEmazing! HQ, and we are all over gorgeous number.

Dress down with flat ankle boots or dress up with a pair of heels, and let this dress see you from your desk to the bar in no time.

Waterfall Belted Duster Khaki €40.00

Summer or winter, we're always on the look-out for a coat which will see us through most seasons, and it looks like we're finally sorted.

Elegant, stylish and the perfect finish to almost any outfit, this is one piece we can't wait to get our hands on it.

High Neck Black Floral Mini Dress

While we may be finally free of the long bleak month that is January, that doesn't mean we're free of the weather.

With that in mind, we're all over this long-sleeved, high-necked dress which would look incredible with ankle boots, thick black tights and your slickest leather jacket.

Khaki Bomber Jacket €14.00

At just €14.99 (down from €27.00), this khaki bomber jacket is, in anyone's language, an absolute steal.

After spending a year trying to find the perfect one, we've only gone and done it now.

A 24-year-old backpacker has made headlines this week after managing to initiate her own rescue following her abduction in Australia.

The female tourist, originally from Belgium, was abducted in Murraylands and subjected to a terrifying ordeal before managing to make contact with an acquaintance over 3,000 km away in Queensland.

According to Cosmopolitan, the young woman, who had her phone confiscated by her assailant, was driven to a remote farm house in the Adelaide town of Meningie before enduring multiple rapes at the hands of her abductor.

Thankfully, the 24-year-old managed to raise the alarm after secretly retrieving her laptop from her belongings and drafting a frantic message to the owner of the farm on which her friend was working.

The tourist, who has limited English, wrote: "I've been kidnapped, they've taken me out into the country two hours from Murray Bridge."

Offering further details into the message he received from the terrified tourist, farm owner, Chris Newman, said: "[It] described going over two ferries, [then it said] they've taken my phone, I've got my laptop out of my backpack and I've sent a message', or something like that."

In a courageous move, the young woman revealed the terrifying reality of her situation, adding: "I don't want to run away because he said he'll shoot me."

Following the tourist's desperate call for help, police in Adelaide launched a search before eventually locating the kidnapper's house.

According to reports, the victim's 52-year-old attacker has since been charged with three counts of rape and one count of unlawful detention.

Commenting on the crime, South Australia Premier, Jay Weatherill, said: "I hope this matter can be quickly investigated and the appropriate steps to bring the person to justice are taken."

Style is something very unique to everyone.

Some pieces you might have in your wardrobe for 11 years, and others you wear once or twice and never see again.

Who What Wear is one of the best sites for up-to-the-minute fashion, but when we came across an article titled 5 Items a Celebrity Stylist Would Remove From Your Wardrobe, we were a little miffed.

A photo posted by Who What Wear (@whowhatwear) on

Micaela Erlanger works with stars such as Hilary Swank, Lupita Nyong'o and Jennifer Hudson, and while they all dress beautifully in their own right, we don't think their stylist Micaela is the one to tell us what socks to wear.

And that's one of her first critiques; mismatched socks. Some people are guilty of wearing these on a day-to-day basis, and guess what? They probably don't give AF. Who's going to see them? What if you got up at 6am and they were the first thing you found?

Plus, they're socks. Not a Chanel embellished jacket. Is it really that big of a deal?

A photo posted by Breeeee (@sockgal) on

The next piece of clothing that Micaela would remove from your wardrobe is a "dingy white tee." Instead, she suggests buying a Gucci logo t-shirt which costs around €600.

Apparently, "dingy white tees happen to the best of us," and after a while they become "not-so-lovely." But does that not happen to mostly everything we wear?

We'll stick to our dingy Penneys' basics, thanks.

In today's society, we all know that trends aren't exclusive to fashion. They extend beyond what we put ON our body, and include what we put IN.

Most women experience weight fluctuation, whether it's because you ate too much over Christmas and still can't shift those extra inches… or just because life is getting in the way of having your five-a-day.

And this is why Micaela's next tip – "jeans that don't fit" – isn't that realistic. If you want to keep those Topshop Jamie's in the hope that you'll squeeze into them next month, work away.

And when you are able to fit into them, you'll feel mega-proud of your achievement.

A photo posted by CECILE, 21yo (@cecile.brwsk) on

So now that we've had our socks, t-shirts and jeans scrutinised, Micaela turns her attention to our apparent inability to spot a soiled garment with her 'no stained blouses' tip.

Obviously, if a blouse has a coffee stain down the front it's going in the wash and not hanging up in our wardrobes.

"If there's evidence of a stain, it's time to toss." …No hun, it's time to wash.

The last piece of advice Micaela gives is to chuck out shoes that you can't walk in, which is fair enough, but all in all… her guidance is askew, and very much so for the more… privileged of us.

Celebrity stylists may be great for choosing demure, classic red carpet looks, but for day-to-day style, we'll stick to our own fashion guns.

The last time we were told Beyoncé deserved an award more than its recipient was when Kanye West relieved a stunned Taylor Swift of her MTV Moon Man back in 2009, and insisted the Single Ladies singer had been robbed of the accolade.

Thankfully, this time around, the person doing the insisting was the same person who actually received the gong – the only and only Adele.

After winning a Grammy for Album of the Year last night, the Londoner paid tribute to Beyoncé who shed tears from her seat in the audience as she listened to the When We Were Young singer gush over Lemonade.

And while the vast majority of us celebrated Adele's unbridled adoration for Queen Bey, some corners of Twitter are a little more cynical.

From suggesting Adele mentioned Beyoncé in order to avoid being considered racist (say what?) to others insisting Beyoncé didn't deserve the praise, not everyone was as impressed by the heartfelt speech as the rest of us.

We'll let Twitter take it from here…

Vogue Wiliams has always been high on our style watch. Her hair, make-up and clothes are always totally drool-worthy, and her Instagram account gives us some serious inspo.

We've been used to seeing the blonde beauty with long, swinging locks, but now the TV star has gone for the chop… and it's absolutely gorgeous.

After having to bow out of The Jump due to an injury, Vogue has decided to change up her look and debuted the style on IG earlier today.

When @glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

She captioned the photo: "When @Glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser."

If we could have our hair done like this, we'd love to live with a hairdresser too!

To be fair though, the girl can suit any look!

Netflix has come out with some awesome TV shows over the past few years, and one of our favourites has to be The Crown.

Taking a look into the life of a young Queen Elizabeth, we got to see the trials and tribulations of her first few years on the throne.

But now, one of our favourite serial killers (on-screen) is coming to the show and we can't wait.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall has been cast to play John F. Kennedy, so it's certainly going to be a change to his usual characters.

The second season of The Crown will begin in 1956, when the Suez Crisis took place.

The Suez Crisis was a disastrous military decision which disgraced Prime Minister of-the-time, Anthony Eden. It will also chronicle events up until the year 1964, which means that we are likely going to see both Kennedy's inauguration in 1961, and his assassination in 1963.

It certainly seems like it'll be a dramatic season.

Former EuroMillions winner, Dolores McNamara, and her children are suing The Irish Times over false housing claims.

The publication reported that that she had 40 houses seized in Detroit, in the United States, due to not paying her taxes.

According to The Sunday World, Doroles and her solicitors are set to issue High Court proceedings against the Irish paper, as well as other news outlets in Limerick and Dublin, who apparently ran the story last month.

"It is important to point out that no properties were seized in Detroit and the reality is that Dolores and her family had divested themselves of the properties in question," a source told The Sunday World.

The EuroMillions winner, who scored the jackpot of €115 million in 2005, has a number of properties in Dublin, Limerick and the US.
