Paris Jackson has spoken out about her feelings on the hit Netflix show 13 Reasons Why

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson shared a post with her Instagram followers which details why the show could be harmful to viewers.

Paris has previously discussed her own mental health issues, and told her followers that while the show is a great way to open a dialogue about such issues, she feels it may be triggering to those dealing with depression, self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

'Came across this online and i'm not sure what the source is but this is really important to spread towards people that are struggling with depression or anxiety, self-harm, and or suicidal thoughts,' she captioned a snap of a Tumblr post she shared to Instagram.

'This show was an amazing way to get the message across to bullies that they need to stop doing what they are doing, it really did a good job of showing how impactful words and actions can be to other human beings.'

'You can't just do or say things to people without thinking about how it will affect them. but at the same time it is also an extremely triggering thing to watch. please only watch this show with caution and keep in mind that it may put you in a dark place.'

'If you are struggling please don't watch it. if you think you can handle it, please by all means check it out.'

The series, produced by Selena Gomez, follows the story of 17-year-old Hannah Baker, a high-school student who ultimately takes her own life.

Netflix previously released a statement on the issues, saying: 'We wanted to do it in a way where it was honest, and we wanted to make something that can hopefully help people because suicide should never ever be an option.'

Okay, so when you go to Disneyland, you know you're going to be in for a pretty amazing experience.

There are few things that could possibly make going to Disneyland even more magical, but we think that a brand new music festival would do just that.

Electroland has just been announced, and the 10,000 capacity festival is being held in the Disneyland Paris park itself.

To celebrate the theme park's 25th anniversary, they are hosting their own electronic music festival on July 8, 2017.

The legendary Steve Aoki is set to headline on the night, and the golden tickets give festival goers access to the tunes and access to the various rides and attractions at night.

NERVO, Richard Orlinski and Michael Calfan are also rumoured to be on the line-up.

Tickets are priced at €68.00 for a standard pass or €85.00 for a VIP ticket, available from Ticketmaster.

Well, we know what we're doing that weekend.

You don't need us to tell you that exercise is good for you.

At this stage we all know that in addition to improving your physical health, breaking a sweat on the regular also does wonders for your mental and emotional wellbeing.

But did you know that regular exercise can also impact on your cognitive ability? In other words, your work-out sessions can actually positively impact the ol' noodle.

According to a review of studies published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, getting active for just 45 minutes a day can help to boost your brain health and improve your cognition.

Researchers from the University of Canberra established that regardless of the form of exercise the individual chooses to partake in, exercise of moderate intensity was linked to improved cognition.

But there's more!

Different exercises were linked to different areas of the mind, with aerobic impacting positively on thinking, reading and learning while resistance training helped with memory, planning, and organising.

And, perhaps unsurprisingly, the more often the individual works out, the greater the cognitive effects!

And we thought our lunges were only working our thighs…

According to recently released figures from the Central Statistics Office, one in ten adults in this country are earning the minimum wage or less.

Further to this, it has been established that 38 per cent of minimum-wage workers are aged between 18 and 24, with more women than men earning minimum wage.

As of January 2017, the minimum wage was increased to €9.25 per hour – an increase which was introduced incrementally over two years – and of the 155,100 people who earn that figure or less, 54.4 per cent were women.

According to the figures, 22,500 employees reported that their earnings as being less than the minimum wage while 132,600 reported earning the exact figure.

The findings established that those earning low wages worked in the services industry, with four in five employees reporting as such.

The research also concluded that three in five workers on the minimum wage or less worked part-time.

Demi Lovato has never been shy about her love for tattoos, and now she has added to her collection.

Tattoo artist to the stars, Keith 'Bang Bang' McCurdy, shared a picture on social media of Demi's new ink, and we love it.

@ddlovato sometimes the canvas makes the art 😉 Thank you for your trust

He captioned the picture: "@ddlovato sometimes the canvas makes the art 😉 Thank you for your trust."

Demi's new ink is a lion's head, which covers most of her right hand.

However, she must have been receiving a bit of abuse online, because she later tweeted, "You can't get a tattoo these days without someone saying you've copied someone or you're "matching" someone. That's not the case folks."

The former Disney star has around 20 tattoos in total, which include a dreamcatcher, a cross, a rose, roman numerals and a flock of birds.

Social media has gone slightly crazy over the discovery of black ice cream.

Yep, an ice cream shop in LA has created this sweet treat and it's nearly as good as when the black heart emoji first debuted.

Little Damage specialises in homemade soft-serve ice cream (basically a 99) and the Almond Charcoal flavour even comes with a black waffle cone.

Taking a sneaky look through their Instagram, they even have something called Unicorn Tears, and we're very intrigued.

Trip to LA anyone?

According to emerging reports, an armed man has been arrested at Whitehall, near London's Houses of Parliament.

The BBC Home Affairs correspondent reported that the assailant was carrying two knives including a bread knife when he arrested.

It has been established that no one was injured, but police have yet to release further details regarding the incident.

Following last month's terrorist attack in Westminister, security in the capital has been particularly tight.

It is understood that the individual was detained on Parliament Street, yards from an entrance to Westminister underground station.

Let's face it, we all have awkward days.

You know the ones.

The last thing we want to do is speak to another human being and the idea of a crowded pub makes you shiver internally.

That's everyday life for a lot of people, but as it turns out, (leaving social skills out of the equation) the 'socially awkward' introvert is more likely to possess an extraordinary talent in comparison to their party-loving opposite.

A recent study conducted by Oxford University revealed that socially awkward guys and gals have an ‘unusually intense focus’, and are more likely to gravitate towards hobbies and interests that are governed by rules.

Lead researcher, Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues also found an association between awkwardness and special talents.

According to Time, these findings are in line with a previous study that found the most accurate indicator of talent in children was not their I.Q., but rather the ability of intense focus.

Of course, that’s not to say that all awkward people will be child prodigies, but that unique passion and drive mixed with a natural flare can produce some exciting possibilities.

However, these same traits can cause awkward people to struggle in social situations. Their intense passion and focus does not lend itself well to the fickleness of human behaviour.

Ty Tashiro, writer for Time magazine, likened the situation to travelling in a foreign country where you don’t know the language – normal situations can become stressful and the inability to communicate efficiently can be embarrassing.

But, awkward people can learn to navigate these situations by pushing their boundaries and stepping outside their comfort zone.

Ty also recommend finding a non-social skill that could be useful at social gatherings, like cooking or photography. That way you’ll still be present, but can skip the small talk.

So basically, awkward people may not be the life and soul of the party, but their ability to master the interests they pursue more than makes up for it.

Made In Chelsea star and model Ashley James has taken to Instagram to discuss the issue of slut shaming and body confidence.

The model opened up about an incident in which she was en route to an event when the driver of the taxi she was in turned around and took a photo of her cleavage on his phone.

The disturbing incident made the 30-year-old feel ashamed, insecure, and 'cheap.'

A post shared by Ashley James (@ashleylouisejames) on

'Let's talk about body confidence. Tonight someone said to me that they really enjoy the fact that I'm open and accepting of my body,' she began in the Instagram caption.

'It was kind of ironic because tonight, on the way to DJ for the @bouxavenue lingerie event, my cabbie turned around and took a photo of my boobs.'

'I was already quite uncomfortable with my outfit, and then I was made to feel like a cheap whore. I succumbed to the slut shaming, broke down in tears, and then got changed at the event into something that didn't feel me.'

A post shared by Ashley James (@ashleylouisejames) on

'Later, I realised I'd allowed some sexist arsehole dictate how I should feel about my NATURAL GOD-GIVEN body so I got changed again.'

'The road to body acceptance and confidence is hard, which is why I thought I'd share this story with you, but I'm trying,' she finished.

The stunning Londoner has previously discussed body confidence and self love on her page, proving just how easy it is to fake before and after photos.

A post shared by Ashley James (@ashleylouisejames) on

'We can all feel beautiful or ugly in photos depending on the right angles and lights, just like me in these two images, which were taken 2 seconds apart. Why do we all do this to ourselves?' she said at the time.

The horrible, scary incident truly highlights how some people feel that they can treat women any way they want based on the way they are dressed.

Let's say it one more time, people: Clothes do not give consent!

We're all after a natural looking, glowy tan, and there are so many different ways of achieving the look in a bottle.

From instant tans in formulas like gels, mousses and sprays, we're pretty spoiled for choice when it comes to transforming ourselves into bronzed goddesses.

There is a new formula on our radars at the moment, in the form of tanning water.

Penneys has just rolled out a brand new Ps…Tanning Water, and we're more than a little curious to try the new concept.

Tanning water is a quick-drying type of tan which can be spritzed on as easily as a body mist and quickly buffed into the skin with the help of a light tanning mitt.

The Penneys water describes itself as a 'bronzing hydrating water' that is perfect for achieving a 'light weight application' process.

Popular Irish blogger Penneys Hun posted a quick Facebook review about the new concept.

'I will admit I was a little skeptical when I picked this up last week,' she wrote in the post.

'Afraid for my life that I would turn out orange but if you follow the instructions carefully you can't go wrong – really happy with the colour that developed, a natural bronzed glow.'

Well, if it's good enough for the blogosphere, sign us up.
