Protestors formed human barricades near the Dame Street area yesterday evening, which stopped cars and vans from parking in cycling lanes.

The cycling campaigners caused huge tailbacks in the city, with many people complaining it took them hours to get home.

The cyclists took to the street at 4.30pm, the top of rush hour in the city, and not many car owners were happy.

According to 98fm, there were a few "heated exchanges" as the 15 protestors stood at a cycle lane on Andrew's Street.

This protest came just as the Irish Road Safety Authority released a new video, showing people what it's like to be a cyclist in the city.

The RSA believe it will encourage drivers to keep a safe distance when passing cyclists.

The cyclists promised to protest again in the next few weeks.

Yet another cyber attack has spread across the world in the past 24 hours.

The virus, that initially hit the Ukraine, has affected systems in Europe this morning, causing major disruption to businesses.

According to independent.co.uk, the hack was the biggest in Ukraine's history and has now reached Spain, India, the UK and Ireland.

Reports from cnet.com claim that the virus has hit a Cadbury's chocolate factory in Australia, shutting down all of its systems.

It is said to be of the same magnitude as the massive 'WannaCry' attack which paralysed the NHS in England.

Over across the pond, the British National Cyber Security Centre said that it is "aware of the global ransomware incident" and is "monitoring the situation closely."

Closer to home however, experts are warning you to be vigilant when opening emails and be wary of any attachments sent to you.

One 18-year-old beauty vlogger is teaching us not to judge a book by its cover.

Michaela Davert has a rare genetic disorder called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which is a condition that makes her bones very fragile and fracture easily.

As a result of this, she is just over two feet tall and uses a wheelchair to get around and has an assistance dog named Chloe.

However, Michaela's size hasn't stopped her achieving her dreams of pursuing a career in beauty

With her Instagram page and her YouTube channel, she is breaking the stigma in the beauty industry for women with disabilities. She shares her make- up tutorials and reviews with her 30,000 YouTube followers.

She is also very open to talking about her condition and has several videos discussing it. She keeps her followers up to date with her surgeries and how she is recovering from them.

In a recent interview, Michaela discussed being different and how she doesn't let it define her.

"I find it strange that people say that we look different, and it's because we are different, in reality we're all different," she surmises.

She says that she has had people call her ugly but that she doesn't care because she is now happy and comfortable in herself and how she naturally looks.

She wants to share her message with girls around the world and inspire them to see themselves as beautiful.

Michaela proves that when it comes to achieving your goals, size really doesn't matter!

We, along with the rest of the world, LOVE the new Wonder Woman movie.

Gal Gadot is our newest girl crush and style inspo, showing us that you can look super chic on the red carpet while wearing flip flops.

So it's no surprise that Wonder Woman merch seems to be taking over the world, from clothes, to posters, to Lego.

Now, according to @makeupworldnews, it looks like Maybelline are set to release a Wonder Woman themed make- up collection.

The Instagram page has all the latest beauty trends, news and reviews, so we are pretty hopeful.

For now, the page says that the collection will only be available in Italy, but as we are sure it will be a success, we are crossing our fingers that it will be released to the rest of Europe before too long.

The collection will include: matte liquid lipsticks in several colours, Collosal Big Shot mascara and Wonder Woman colour themed nail polishes, and it all comes in a super cute Wonder Woman case.

It looks so fab, we will certainly be keeping our eyes peeled so we can get our hands on it as soon as possible.

We cannot wait to create some fierce Wonder Woman inspired looks!

"Every bride has to find her own style," Charlotte reminded Miranda in one particularly memorable episode of Sex and the City.

And never was a truer word said.

While diamanté might be dealbreaker for one bride, it might be the main requirement for another. And while a tiara may be the last thing a newly engaged woman wants to consider, it might be the first port of call for another.

At this stage Jennifer Lawrence is used to excessive paparazzi attention no matter where she goes.

And while the Oscar-winner is now adept at dodging questions and avoiding eye contact, her pet dog, Pippi, is less familiar with paparazzi etiquette while running the post-flight gauntlet.

Classic dogs, y'know?

So, when a TMZ reporter made the bold decision to engage with the dog after being ignored by her owner, he soon found out how the Hunger Games star really felt about him.

Recalling the moment in footage which was uploaded to Twitter this afternoon, the TMZ reporter appeared delighted to be dubbed a 'f*cking loser' by the A-lister.

If you're in Limerick, then keep an eye out because it's rumoured that Elton John is in the area.

His €28 million yacht was spotted in Limerick City Docks, as well as reportedly being spotted in Cobh and Dingle over the weekend.

According to Limerick Leader, Elton's yacht is called the Wabi Sabi and it's Wi-Fi connection was picked up in the area too.

Many believe it is indeed the singer, and although it hasn't been confirmed, he was playing the Marquee in Cork last week.

We have to admit, it's a pretty sweet ride to travel around Ireland in, and we're kinda jealous at how good his Wi-Fi connection is.

The Irish Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform intends to demonstrate at Irish airports to discourage women from leaving the country to seek abortions.

The 'airport education project' will hold graphic signs featuring images of what it alleges to be aborted foetuses in an attempt to shock the woman out of leaving for abortions.

The Centre also says it will reimburse the airline tickets for those who do not leave the country for their terminations.

The project appealed for volunteers and funding in a recent press release and newsletter to supporters.

'On average 15 women are travelling to the UK via our International Airports to undergo ‘abortion treatment’ or ‘abortion care’ at BPAS or Marie Stopes every working day Monday to Friday,' reads the release.

'Standing at the airport in the mornings with these images of first trimester prenatal and abortion images entering and leaving these facilities, that expand their cashiers by evacuating wombs, is certain to expose the deception and provide recourse to abortion vulnerable women who no longer want to go through with it.'

'The more days we can organise volunteers to stand there, the more women will see these images and the fewer will undergo abortion.'

The demonstrations aim to take place between Saturday 29 July and Sunday 13 August at Dublin Airport and Cork Airport.

This will be followed by rallies in the city centres later.

In our opinion, Lemurs just don't get enough appreciation.

However, these tiny little lemur pups might sway your opinion.

Two lemurs, a male and a female, were both born in Dublin Zoo last April to proud parents Fifi and Pierre.

And now with a total of seven lemurs in their clan, the zoo think it's the right time to celebrate.

The Phoenix Park attraction is holding an event this weekend all about lemurs, so you can see the red fur cuties for yourself.

From 12pm-4pm, the event called Long Live Lemurs, will have keepers talk about the animals, lemur-themed arts and crafts, as well as music and a whole load of other activities.

This is actually a really special and important time for lemurs, as they're becoming an endangered species.

The birth of these pups is part on an international breeding programme after conservationists has seen a significant decline in population due to habitat loss and hunting.

Many lemurs reside on the Island of Madagascar and in recent years it has seen a major decline in foliage, with only 10 per cent of its natural vegetation remaining.

There is nothing better than snuggling up on a rainy evening and watching some Netflix.

The on-demand streaming service offers some of the best original series and epic classic movies, but it also plays host to some informative and groundbreaking documentaries.

Be entertained while growing your knowledge of niche topics with these five hair-raising docs.

Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press

Nobody Speak is a powerful documentary, exposing the vulnerability of the free press as it struggles to protect its right of free speech within the realm of public interest.

Focusing on the Hulk Hogan vs Gawker case, in which Hogan sued the gossip site for leaking his sex tape, and on Donald Trump's vilification of the press, this makes for a riveting hour and twenty minutes.

American Occult

This documentary series focuses on a slew of American true crimes which involved satanic or occult elements.

From cult leaders to rogue bands of murderous teens, the series explores the vile murders carried out in the name of Satan.

The Keepers

Another harrowing documentary series for true crime fans, this documentary has been one-to-watch on Netflix.

The Keepers tells the story of the unsolved murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a nun and teacher from Baltimore, USA, and unearths some disturbing stories of abuse in the Catholic church while doing so.

The Queen of Versailles

This wickedly funny and insightful documentary focuses on the construction of one of the most expensive family homes ever built.

The insanely rich couple building the home discuss the rise and fall of the housing crisis while building their dream palatial mansion.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father

This 2008 documentary will still be as riveting for true crime fans as it was almost a decade ago when it was made (one of the best things about Netflix – it maintains a treasure trove of old flicks).

The story revolves around the horrific crimes which ended the lives of a father and son. Warning: you will be moved to tears.

Us Irish can be quite picky when it comes to travelling.

According to the latest national survey by Red C for Travel Counsellors Ireland, there's a few things that we just can't live without on holiday.

There's also a few things we wish we could have…

1. The Celeb

When it comes to a travel companion, Irish comedian Graham Norton won the top spot, with the majority of participants choosing him as a holiday BFF.

However, the funnyman proved to be more popular with women, with 50 per cent of them choosing him as a holiday companion compared to only one in three men.

Kim Kardashian was also a popular choice, but more so with males as 18 per cent chose her as their sun buddy, compared to only four per cent of females.

The SHEmazing gals however would love Kimmy K as a holiday BFF (imagine all the secrets she'd tell us!).

Next in line was chart-topper Adele, with 27 per cent of the vote over all, while one in five people chose Michael Fassbender to head away with them.

2. The Beverage

When we head away on holiday, it's safe to say they only thing on our minds is relaxing with a tasty cocktail.

But it looks like the rest of the population can't live without one certain beverage, and it's far from boozy.

You can probably guess what the beverage of choice is, right? *Drumroll* it's tea!

One in ten people surveyed said that they need some Irish tea on holiday, and many pack it along with their sun lotion!

3. The Essentials

So, one of the essentials we need on holiday is our smartphones (because we all need that perfect Instagram picture, right?).

One in three said having their phones with them is a priority when travelling, however, they're more important to single people, with 40 per cent of singletons saying they could not part with their phones, compared to only 25 per cent of married people.

The survey also revealed 31 per cent of Irish people prefer having a tailor-made holiday, while 21 per cent said it was more important to have a holiday financially protected.
