It's important to know who you're shopping for when you venture out to complete your Christmas lists this festive season.

If your list comprises mostly of your fellow millennial mates or your younger millennial family members, this ever so slightly satirical gift list is the ultimate guide to shopping for the generation who has everything.

1. AvoBath Bomb, LUSH

Avocado is the power food fuelling a generation, along with kale and quinoa.

Unfortunately for kale and quinoa, avocado looks a lot better on some toast in the ultimate breakfast Instagram picture.

Lush has a cult millennial following thanks to its' ethical ethos, so combine the two trends and give the gift of super smooth, avocado-scented skin.

2. Brunch Top, ASOS

Speaking of the perfect Instagram photo, brunch has gained a cult millennial following, with filter-heavy snaps of mimosas, eggs benedict and artisanal coffee artfully displayed on tables taking over a large portion of the foodie worlds' feed.

Wearing your loyalties on your chest has become synonymous with the Repeal the 8th project, and now members of the global brunch club are getting in on the look.

This brunch T-shirt, €16 from ASOS, is calling out for Sunday afternoons with the girls. Rosé all day.

3. Power brick, Amazon

Even in our technically advanced world, the imminent death of our phones battery life still hangs over us on a night out.

Make your millennial the most popular person at the party with a multiple port power brick.

Also handy for avid Snapchatters bloggers, and vloggers, living in the social media era really drains your battery.

4. Craft Beer advent calendar, Martin's Off-Licence (€5 off with the code SHEmazing)

Somewhere around the same point in time that Urban Outfitters got a vinyl section, the world also became obsessed with craft beers.

No longer is a simple draft sufficient to quench the alcoholic thirsts of millennials', and luckily one Irish off-licence has developed a craft beer advent calendar to keep them satiated.

The advent box is literally the gift that keeps on giving, as it contains 24 different craft beers. Perfect for the alcohol snob in your life.

5. Smart phone projector, Designist

Seeing as no one under 25 bothers to buy a TV anymore, the cinematic experience can often be lost on a certain generation.

Keeping with the millenials obsession with all things vintage inspired, this smart phone projector is the perfect mix of old school and modern, and creates a whole new way to watch hilarious cat videos while eating kale salads.

6. Grow your own kale kit, Home Sweet Home Grown

Speaking of kale, there is nothing those foodie bloggers love more than organic, home grown vegetables.

For those with (or without) a green thumb, the Grow Your Own Kale Kit is an easy peasy way to humble-brag your way into the most elite of Irish fit fam circles.

Not only does it fall under the organic, eating clean, vegan and homemade categories, all it needs is a drop of water and a windowsill to flourish.

7. Netflix-worthy PJs, ASOS

You should always be dressed to impress, but when Netflix and chill (alone or otherwise) is a national past time, sometimes dressing your best just means wearing matching pyjamas.

Another one for the avocado obsessed, these veggie print pjs are ideal for their next Netflix marathon. You may as well buy them a subscription while you're at it.

8. The Trump filter, Google Chrome

Some of the best gifts are completely free.

The world is still recovering from the shock of Donald Trump's presidential win, and no generation was more outraged than the millennials.

Protect their precious eyes and ears from all the wrongs of the world with the genius Trump filter, which essentially deletes the mogul from existence. At least according to their laptop anyway.

9. Drake socks, Etsy

Drake, The Weekend and Justin Beiber are dominating the play lists of most millennials right now.

Help them wear their popular musical tastes with pride with a pair of performer patterned socks.

For those with a slightly more refined taste in tunes, this is the perfect gag gift.

10. Bubble Wrap phone case, Ebay

Millennials are often accused of living bubble-wrapped lives safe from the harsh realities of the world.

This bubble wrap case pokes fun at the running joke, while also providing a stress reliving, therapeutic popping exercise for those days when even the best lit selfie just wont go right.

Finding the motivation to exercise is hard enough, but finding the motivation to exercise in December is another thing entirely.

It's pitch dark when you get up, pitch dark when you leave the office, and you have a bed that can't do enough for you, so it's no surprise most of us see our exercise routine fall by the wayside once winter sets in.

But if you've been busy beating yourself up over your desire to spend an extra hour under the covers instead of slogging it out on the treadmill, stop right now because the experts have your back on this one.

According to a study from Chicago's Northwestern University. our muscles work more efficiently when our body is properly awake which means early-morning workouts aren't all they're cracked up to be.

"Oxygen and the internal clock are doing a dance together inside muscle cells to produce energy, and the time of day determines how well that dance is synchronised," wrote lead author Dr Joseph Bass.

"The capacity for a cell to perform its most important functions, to contract, will vary according to the time of day. In the future, we may discover new ways to manipulate the oxygen response of the cell by resetting the clock."

"We’re not saying we can tell athletes when they should work out but in the future, perhaps, you may be able to take advantage of these insights to optimise muscle function."

So, if you've been trying and failing to hit up the 6am spin class for the last month, don't worry because it sounds like the lie-in would do you better.

Score!

If you made your way down O'Connell Street this morning, then you were in for quite an… unusual sight.

PETA protested on the busy Dublin street today by having a woman lie down dressed in only her knickers (yep, no bra), on a giant plate, and had fake blood dripped all over her.

An interesting way to protest, yes, but my God, the woman must have been freezing.

The aim of the protest was to encourage people to not eat meat at Christmas dinner… but honestly, mostly everyone was perplexed by the situation:

We're just wondering how long she had to lie there for…

A goat went on a rampage at a local Euro Spar on the Victoria Road in Carrickfergus, County Antrim this week.

The stray animal paced outside the store, trapping staff and shoppers within.

According to the Carrickfergus Times, store manager Jonathan Smyth was organising the shop in the early hours of Saturday morning.

“I looked up and there was a massive goat two foot up the door and it went nuts! It seemed to want to break into the shop and it was staring straight at me," said the manager.

“It was into the baskets eating all the plants and running round the car park, I thought: ‘you’ve got to be kidding me!’”

The goat then charged at a customer, who was not harmed, before getting up on its hind legs and jumping on two cars.

“We have a pensioner named Billy who shops here and it charged at him and I grabbed him and dragged him through the door just in time before the goat crashed into the door,” said Jonathan.

The goat was apprehended and led away by a passer by.

There’s nothing nicer than getting home on a wet and miserable evening and getting into a cosy pair of PJs.

And every year we look forward to getting a fresh pair of fleeced goodies for Christmas, keeping us well stocked until next year.

It's as much a tradition as enjoying a fist full of Roses with your tea every night for a week leading up to the big day.

And what goes more perfectly with fleece pyjamas than fluffy socks?

It seems like things have really changed in the Chyna household since she gave birth to her daughter.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna welcomed Dream into the world last month, and the couple are now planning an "extravagant wedding TV special."

It's no secret that the parents have had their fair share of ups and downs since they got together at the beginning of the year, but it looks like their new bundle of joy has changed all of that.

An insider told TMZ: "They're on solid ground since Dream's birth and want to get married next year.

"Rob wants to live with Chyna and spend every day with Dream. He's making a big effort to get along with Chyna.

"She seems very happy with him. They are getting along great and enjoying parenting together.

"Rob is super hands on with Dream. She's changed his life. She make him want to be better. And he's spending a lot more time with his family."

Let's be honest, a TV wedding is nothing new to the Kardashians – Kim broadcast her wedding to Kris Humphries AND Kanye over the years, and her sister Khloe also had a TV wedding when she married Lamar Odom.

But will this one be just as extravagant? We'll have to wait and see.

Victoria's Secret newbie Lameka Fox strutted her stuff in this year's fashion show, taking to the stage alongside veterans Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Luckily for the newcomer, Victoria's Secret OG Gisele Bundchen has retired her angle wings, otherwise it could have been a bit of an awkward encounter.

According to multiple online sources, these screenshots originated from Lameka's official Twitter account.

The tweets, which date back a few years, show the model slating Gisele, calling her "irrelevant" and "pretentious."

Since these tweets have surfaced, Lameka has deleted her Twitter page, so there is no way to know if they are 100% real.

The model has also disabled commenting on her Instagram page.

Gisele fans were quick to rush to the supermodels defence: "How can anyone say anything bad about Giselle, she's the queen of runway, she should be her idol, not to be jealous on her," said one.

However, others pointed out the fact that Lameka would have been 15 and 16 respectively when she allegedly penned these tweets.

"It's a shame she said it because it makes her sound really nasty… like it was years ago and we all make mistakes but it could have a big impact on her career now," commented another.

Notions is a uniquely Irish phenomenon, and we all have at least one mate who is full to bursting with them.

It may have been far from €200 sheepskin gloves she was reared, but that doesn't stop her insisting she can't get through winter without them.

And as anyone who's mates with a notion-head will know, choosing their Christmas present is a form of absolute torture.

Do you give into their carry-on and splash out on a chrome coffee flask or do you turn the other cheek and hand over the scratchy pyjamas you saw in a bargain basket?

Well, we've done the thinking for you on this one.

Media outlets went into overdrive last week when reports surfaced that Last Tango in Paris director, Bernardo Bertolucci, had confirmed that elements of a scene which played out in the infamous 1972 movie hadn't been consented to by the film's lead actress Maria Schneider.

Referring to a scene which depicted the rape of Maria' character, Bernardo revealed that he and actor Marlon Brando had conspired to conceal their intent to use butter as a sexual lubricant from the young actress.

Explaining that a 19-year-old Maria was unaware of their plans to improvise during the scene, Bernardo said in footage filmed in 2013: "I had been, in a way, horrible to Maria because I didn’t tell her what was going on."

Speaking before her death in 2011, Maria said the scene had a considerable impact on her, explaining: "I felt humiliated and, to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bertolucci. After the scene, Marlon didn’t console me or apologize."

And with press and public outraged by the director's admission in recent years, Bernardo felt compelled to speak out against the backlash.

Issuing a statement yesterday, he said: "I would like, for the last time, to clear up a ridiculous misunderstanding that continues to generate press reports about Last Tango in Paris around the world."

"Several years ago at the Cinemathèque Francaise someone asked me for details on the famous butter scene. I specified, but perhaps I was not clear, that I decided with Marlon Brando not to inform Maria that we would have used butter," he continued.

"We wanted her spontaneous reaction to that improper use of the butter. That is where the misunderstanding lies. Somebody thought, and thinks, that Maria had not been informed about the violence on her. That is false."

Insisting that Maria was aware of everything else set to play out in the harrowing scene, he added: "Maria knew everything because she had read the script, where it was all described. The only novelty was the idea of the butter."

"And that, as I learned many years later, offended Maria. Not the violence that she is subjected to in the scene, which was written in the screenplay."

Maria's life was tainted by drug addiction and overdoses following her role in the movie.

We never considered that there could be a celebrity hairdryer – but the arrival of the LaniaBLO has officially proved us all sorts of wrong.

Yup, just about every hairspiration queen, Snapchat superstar and model with flicktastic tresses has been spotted branishing a white, black, or pink model of the newly-launched brand.

The fact that you can get your NAME printed on the side is frankly enough for us to start furiously writing ‘Dear Santa…’ but the specs are also spot-on: namely 2400W of power (read: you’ll dry your hair VERY fast) and a super-long lead so you can stretch half way across the room to your mirror.

And with the recently-launched Dyson SuperSonic costing a not-so jingle bells €400 (eh, does it come with free Blake Lively strands?!) we were also oh-so pleasantly surprised to see that the LanaiBLO is a far more festive-friendly €100.

Hurrah!

Here’s a round-up of the celebs we’ve spotted sporting luscious locks courtesy of LanaiBLO…

When it comes to getting Christmas presents for our dads, we are usually left scratching our heads trying to think of anything they might need.

While tools usually fall into the practical and boring category, these tools are so cool we might even borrow them ourselves – ok maybe not but they are seriously cool.
