We never considered that there could be a celebrity hairdryer – but the arrival of the LaniaBLO has officially proved us all sorts of wrong.

Yup, just about every hairspiration queen, Snapchat superstar and model with flicktastic tresses has been spotted branishing a white, black, or pink model of the newly-launched brand.

The fact that you can get your NAME printed on the side is frankly enough for us to start furiously writing ‘Dear Santa…’ but the specs are also spot-on: namely 2400W of power (read: you’ll dry your hair VERY fast) and a super-long lead so you can stretch half way across the room to your mirror.

And with the recently-launched Dyson SuperSonic costing a not-so jingle bells €400 (eh, does it come with free Blake Lively strands?!) we were also oh-so pleasantly surprised to see that the LanaiBLO is a far more festive-friendly €100.

Hurrah!

Here’s a round-up of the celebs we’ve spotted sporting luscious locks courtesy of LanaiBLO…

If you have skin that’s any way fair, you’ve probably grown up with a whole set of “rules” to live by.

No pastels, no white clothes and most DEFINITELY no darker hair colours. They’ll just wash you out… at least that’s what your mam’s always drilled into you, right?

Well, you can throw those beliefs out the window because lately we’ve been getting serious hair lust for celebs rocking darker, deeper shades – everything from intense black like Suzanne Jackson to coffee brown like MIC‘s Lucy Watson.

Of course, the spectrum of darker colours ranges far and wide, and it’s all about choosing a shade that suits your skintone and your own personal style. Here are some of the celebs giving us serious dark hair #goals of late.

Suzanne Jackson

Blogger and beauty guru Suzanne, the woman at the helm of SoSueMe and SOSU cosmetics, has always gone for darker tones – but with a hint of warm brunette to ensure her paler skin is complemented.

That length and volume comes courtesy of Gold Fever hair extensions (the brainchild of fellow Irish woman Katie-Jane Goldin), of which Suzanne’s been a long-time fan. With a blend of different colours used to create the perfect shade, there’s no fear of looking washed out.

Shauna Lindsay

Another Gold Fever fan, model Shauna Lindsay is the perfect example of how to work darker tones without risking looking like Wednesday Addams the second you take your make-up off.

Her darker roots are complemented perfectly by lighter blonde-brown ends, courtesy of 20′ Gold Fever extensions, which gave some much-needed volume and an all over healthy look.

“My hair was so damaged, generally from doing fashion shows and having heat on it all the time,” Shauna says.

“I love being a model don’t get me wrong but your hair goes through a lot! My hair was NOWHERE NEAR as thick as it used to be and I longed for an extra bit of length. The extensions I got put in are 20′ and they are SO FULL,” she explains.

Lucy Watson

Granted, Made In Chelsea alum Lucy usually sets off her deep brown wavy tresses with a tan, but that doesn’t mean we can’t follow her for some hair inspiration.

Lucy keeps her hair relatively short, using extensions to add volume rather than heaps of length. The warm brown hue is perfect with her paler skin – though we reckon it would be a winner with any skin tone.

Model Rosanna Davison and businesswoman Katie Jane Goldin made their way to Punchestown earlier today in an EC-120 helicopter – flown by none other than Katie Jane’s entrepreneur brother, David Gold.

The duo were on hand to judge the racecourse’s much-anticipated Ladies Day competition – which this year was sponsored by Gold Fever hair extensions – and decided to skip the traffic by hitching a lift with David. And as SHEmazing!’s exclusive video from inside the helicopter shows, the group enjoyed some stunning scenery en route.

They weren’t the only ones to travel to Naas in style either. Racehorse owner JP McManus also landed his chopper in the vicinity.

Punters in attendance battled unseasonably cold weather, albeit interspersed with bursts of sunshine, but the fashion on offer certainly defied the unforgiving conditions. In the end, 19-year-old Kirsty Farrell from Newry shone brightest, snapping up the opening day’s Best Dressed accolade, and bagging an impressive Gold Fever prize: €1,000 worth of premium hair extensions plus an Instyler styling tool.

Kirsty, who also finished as a Best Dressed runner-up at Fairyhouse earlier this month, now goes through to Friday’s grand final where she will line-up alongside winners from the rest of the week. Each will be hoping their stylish ensemble lands them an all-expenses trip of a lifetime to Makanyi Lodge – a luxury safari retreat in South Africa’s Kruger National Park – as well as a year of Gold Fever hair extensions.

The judges both looked seriously on-trend themselves: Rosie wore a dress by Alex Perry and sourced from the Ivory Closet, while Katie Jane, who is six-months pregnant with her first child, opted for an embellished number from Ted Baker. Each also accessorised with towering Christian Louboutin stilettos, and hats from Suzanne Ryan millinery.

Although by 5.30pm the champagne tent was heaving with revealers tucking into generous sea-food platters and bottles of chilled Bollinger, the pair were by then back in their chopper – returning directly to the Goldin’s family home near Bray.
