We love a good beauty transformation here at SHEmazing! so naturally we were excited to find talented Instagrammer Annelies Marie Francine who is exceptionally good at recreating old-school Hollywood looks.

The Belgian teen is currently studying history at the University of Leuven but as a self-described “girl with big dreams and a vivid imagination” she also has a major passion for make-up and vintage fashion.

To channel this love, 17-year-old Annelies transforms herself into a variety of Hollywood stars including Audrey Hepburn, Vivien Leigh and Kiera Knightley, as well as Disney characters like Snow White and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

She told Seventeen: "I have always loved using makeup and hair to transform myself into other people and movie characters."

"A year ago I cut my hair into a pixie cut and people started telling me I looked like Audrey Hepburn. I wasn't very familiar with anything old Hollywood related at all, but when I looked her up I fell in love with the elegance of vintage silver-screen glamour!"

Don't bite the apple!  I love Snow White  #snowwhite #disneyprincess #disney #snowwhitecosplay #topvintagemodel

Currently the teen mainly uses Instagram to showcase her talent but she hopes to start filming makeup tutorials on YouTube in the future.

Buying a pair of bad shoes is like sitting down to a slasher movie: it’s all fun and games until the blood starts to spill.

We love pretty shoes – which is why we can’t understand why the most beautiful ones want to hurt us so damn much. It’s like a reverse Cinderella situation: instead of a ‘fits like a glove’ glass slipper, our feet feel like they’re encased in cement blocks.

And most of the time, we know exactly what we’re getting ourselves into. So, we resort to ‘softening’ sandal straps with Vaseline (really, has that ever worked for anyone?) and trying to stretch our court heels by parading around at home wearing them with the thickest fluffy socks we can find.

But even that can’t prevent the torture that the first wear is about to bring; the horror that takes the form of the following stages:

1. The sweaty stage

Feet are pretty nasty, as is sweat; so mix the two together and you know things are only going to get worse from there. This is the first stage at which you start to wonder if it was really a good idea to go out in a pair of too tight/ too high/ uncomfortable shoes that probably still need the fluffy sock treatment.

2. The ball burn

It’s amazing how you rarely even notice the balls of your feet – until they are on fire with the blazing heat of seven hells. Your man may well laugh at you, but we wouldn’t wish that searing pain on our worst enemy.

3. The hot chafe

Okay, now things are getting really uncomfortable, with that hot chafe starting to tear at the delicate skin just inside your ankle. At first it was just tingly, and you tried to ignore it; but once the skin starts to turn red and fall off, accompanied by bright red blood (yep, we went there), you know it’s time to break out the antiseptic cream!

4. The strangulation of Baby

Patrick Swayze once told us that nobody puts Baby in the corner. Newsflash: your shoes don’t give a damn. Now is when those gladiator sandals will really start to wage war on your failing feet, squeezing the bejaysus out of your baby toe until you really have no other choice but to leave the dancefloor and grudgingly pull up a stool.

5. Total incapacitation

Remember that episode of Friends with Monica’s boots? You know, the one where Chandler eventually has to give her a piggy-back home because her feet are in so much pain? That’s where we’re at: total incapacitation. You’re destroyed, and you swear – as you pull the demons off and wallow in the ecstasy of bare feet – that you will never wear them again. Then Saturday night comes around….

Will we ever learn?

While we're certainly not the sorts to go into a wild tizzy every time a married celebrity speaks to a member of the opposite sex, we have to say recent pictures of Michelle Keegan have raised eyebrows.

Indeed, the 29-year-old actress, who was been married to Mark Wright for a little more than a year, has now sent the rumour-mill into overdrive.

In the recent snaps, Michelle can be seen walking arm-in-arm with her attractive 26-year-old co-star, Luca Pasqualino.

They snuggle into one another, appear to share intimate conversation and walk around like no one is watching as he drapes an arm over her shoulder.

The cosy snaps come after Michelle admitted to LOOK that she finds it hard to find a perfect balance in her life, and that her hubby Mark critiques her wardrobe choices when they're going out.

"Mark gives his opinion. He'll point something out that I haven't seen before and be like, "That doesn't go.'"

The actress also admitted to the mag that she doesn't see her husband as much as she's like to.

"It's hard to juggle friends, work and a husband.

"I have to plan. Mark's always looking at his diary and I'm at mine and my friends are all in a group message trying to arrange their time," she said.

Michelle has just wrapped on the set of Our Girl, so hopefully we'll see more date night snaps of the lovable pair together.

We’ve long suspected that Kate Middleton is some kind of superhero and finally it seems we have found actual proof.

As well as looking impeccable all of the time and possessing the ability to sell out entire clothing lines at the drop of a hat, the Duchess of Cambridge has now revealed that she can actually fly.

The Internet has been left baffled by a recent photo in which the Royal beauty floats alongside David Cameron and brother-in-law Price Harry without either foot touching the ground.

Dressed in a collared lace dress for the Thiepval Memorial, the mother of two seems to hover angelically in the air as she looks off into the distance.

Saint Kate?  We think so.

Mobile phones are tricky business (especially for clumsy people). My phone currently has a smashed screen, dints on the side and a temperamental camera – the result of many drops and falls.

It happens to the best of us, but when your phone is brand spankin' new, it feels like a little bit of your heart drops as you see the screen smash on the ground.

However, we may not have to ever have that sinking feeling again as MegaTinyCorp has just created 'The Anti-Gravity Case'.

The nano-suction technology (imagine millions of tiny suction cups) on the case means it can stick to mirrors, glass, metal, kitchen presses, tiles, car dashboards and more.

Not only will this case save you from scratches and dreaded falls, it's also great for taking selfies, streaming videos, Skyping and recording video blogs.

Can it get any better?!… Well actually, yes it can.

It's also one tough cookie. The edges of the case are raised so it will protect your phone if it does happen to fall, and the nano-suction material also absorbs shock, so there won't be any screen cracking either.

We just think we've found our new best friend.

So many celebrities deny going on crash diets, having a little botox, or even admitting to hair extensions.

We get it. They're in the public eye and want to present their best possible selves; but we don't understand why they try so hard to hide the little bit of help they've received (especially when it's super obvious).

However, one gal that isn't afraid to hide her help is Rita Ora, and she even thinks it's "weird" that some people find it so hard to talk about.

“Some people feel really weird talking about hair extensions, but the reality is your hair can’t grow overnight, so why not get creative,” she told InStyle.

The 26-year-old is happy to admit that after years of damaging her locks with bleach and bad dye-jobs, she needs a little bit of a lift with her tresses now.

“The trick is, you have to completely own it, and that’s a confidence thing.

“I was only 14 (when I started dyeing my hair), which is why my hair is so short and damaged now," she added.

Being a natural brunette, Rita constantly has to dye her roots, but even with all the up-keep, the Hot Right Now singer says that blonde has "always been my thing," and she's not going to change anytime soon.

She's known for her sassy presence on social media and she certainly didn't shy away from showing off at her 4th of July celebrations today.

Ariel Winters took to Instagram this morning to show off her gorgeous bikini body, and her beach-ready look is absolute summer life goals.

The 18-year-old took to the social media site in a white bikini and captioned the snap: "Will always look back at this."

We've seen a lot of incredible make-up transformations lately, but few are quite as mesmerising (or disturbing) as watching a five-year-old boy turn into Drake.

French-born make-up artist Magali Beauvue has been receiving a lot of attention this week after she successfully managed to transform one of her client's sons into the bearded R&B star using a powerful combination of extreme contouring and, well, beard painting.

Last weekend, Magali – who has been based in the Caribbean for the last eight years – posted a video to her Instagram account in which she shows her followers how she made bare-faced schoolboy Dylane look like the star.

Naturally enough the video has gone mega-viral with Dylane even being dubbed 'Lil' Drake'.

Speaking of the clip, Magali told Complex: "Dylane had so much fun doing it… he was looking at himself in the mirror and was saying 'Oh I really look like Drake now'."

"Something about [Drake] makes him seem so friendly despite his notoriety."

"People love him… that's why 'Little Drake' gets so much love."

Who else is guilty of wondering how many days you can get away without washing your hair?

That is what they invented dry shampoo for right? To allow us all an extra 20 minutes in bed in the morning.

Most of us are decent human beings who enjoy being fresh and clean, but you'd be lying if you said you've never skipped a shower, out of pure laziness.

Well, we are here to tell you just how often you can skip your morning shower…thank you science for your wisdom.

According to Professor Stephen Shumack, President of the Australasia College of Dermatologists, a person should only shower when they need to (i.e when you start stinking up the room).

Professor Shumack told the Sunday Morning Herald that showering is a "social pressure rather than actual need."

"It's become popular because of the social need to smell good. But it's only the glands in your armpit and groin that produce body odour. They're not all over the body" the doctor went on to say.

The doctor did claim that showering too often can be bad for you and "can cause actual damage making people more permeable to bacteria or viruses, itchy skin, dryness, flakiness and worsening conditions like eczema."

So the moral of the story is, daily washing is totally unnecessary but if you're feeling smelly, have a shower.

Just as Chris Evans steps down from hosting Top Gear, it seems that another celeb is very keen to take on the job.

Brian McFadden wrote to the BBC on Twitter yesterday, and in a series of messages, begged the bosses to consider him for the job.

The former Westlife singer said that he would "happily drive the best cars in the world and get paid for it."

He also referred to Jeremy Clarkson's ill-fate by promising "not to punch any producers," which eventually led to the host departing from the show.

Finally, Brian offered himself as a "female anchor," and shared a picture of himself wearing a wig and bright red lipstick.

Top Gear bosses have yet to announce who will take over Chris Evans' role, but it's expected that Friends star Matt Le Blanc will return for a second season.

Stories featured in Humans of Dublin have hit the headlines on numerous occasions for their ability to bring the internet to tears, and this latest one is no different.

Shared on the Humans of Dublin Facebook page last night, internet users were given an insight into the love story that unfolded between a dancer and her late husband over the course of 57 years.

"I started dancing when I was about 10-years-old. I met beautiful people throughout my whole life because of it. I did Irish dancing and afterwards moved up to the ballroom, we did all sorts of dance," Clare told photographer Peter Varga.

"This is how I met this lovely man too," she continued. "He was so handsome, you know? I was walking in Herbert Park with two girls when I saw him again, he was with his two friends."

"They said they were going to the Ritz that night and asked if we wanted to join them," she recalled. "I will always remember that film, The Desperados. We nearly weren't let in because we were so young. We all had to stand up, as if in high heels, just to get in."

Just 16 when she met him, she revealed: "I never had anyone else, before him or after. That is how we spent 57 years dancing together. He was a lovely and handsome man, you know?"

Peter then captured the moment his subject proudly clutched a photo of herself and her husband, and the internet is in bits this morning after it.

Commenting on the latest post, one Facebook user wrote: "Thank you for sharing your story. I love the photo of the two of you and I'm so glad your "night at the Ritz" lasted for 57 years."

"My parents met on a blind date to go to a dance on Halloween in 1957," wrote another follower of the page. "They got engaged that Christmas and were married the day after Valentine's Day in 1958"

"They were together a week shy of 50 years when my dad passed away. Sometimes those random chance encounters lead people to the person they're supposed to be with. Here's to a lifetime full of love!"

Aw ladies, it's too early for this!

The Humans of Dublin #TakeACloserLook collection is in connection with Vodafone, and snaps of Clare were captured on the Vodafone Smart Platinum 7.

As anyone who’s done the necessary acrobatics knows, getting the perfect angle for a great selfie can be a real pain… in the elbow.

Indeed, the social media-driven activity has now officially resulted in selfie elbow, a medical condition related to the better-known tennis or golf elbow.

kim kardashian

One leading medical expert is now advising that people warm up and stretch before taking pictures of themselves.

Recently, the host of NBC's Today Show, Hoda Kotb, went to a doctor due to a chronic pain in her elbow, and was diagnosed with the painful condition.

Good morning!!!! #lukebryantoday @todayshow

Dr.Jordan Metzl, a sports physician in New York gave elle.com a few tips on how to evade this achy elbow.

"Maybe people should alternate their arms — start spreading the load. Alternatively maybe people should start stretching before they take selfies, so they can warm up their muscles" he said.

The queen of selfies, Kim Kardashian, who in 2014 admitted to having taken more than 1200 pictures of herself, should really consider getting her elbow examined.

kim kardashian

We would hate to see a day where Kim could no longer snap a pic, due to an untreated case of selfie elbow.

Kim, be safe, be healthy and get checked!

Can you imagine having to call in sick to work, because of SELFIE ELBOW?

Amazing.
