The general consensus at SHEmazing! HQ is that The Fall was undoubtedly one of the most frightening series to ever hit the small screen.

And despite the fact the vast majority of us watched it through our fingers, we kept coming back for more…before losing a night's sleep in the aftermath.

Focussing on the cat and mouse game which played out between Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson in the first two series, it sounds like us viewers are in for a serious shock as we head into season three.

Commenting on his role as Paul Spector, the 34-year-old actor teased fans of the show by saying: "You can expect the unexpected."

"There’s quite remarkable turns in the third season that I really genuinely think people won’t see coming that are hugely exciting," he added.

While he reached global fame for his role as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades franchise, it sounds like Jamie credits his role as serial killer Spector for much of his success.

"You know, that job changed my life," he said.

"They’re like family to me and I’m forever grateful for it to be a part of my life and, you know, I would play that character to my dying days if I had the opportunity," he revealed.

And we'd watch him play it…through our fingers though, obvs.

Fans were left stunned when Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger called time on their relationship earlier this summer.

Despite the fact Diane appeared incredibly reluctant to tie the knot after ten years, theirs seemed like one of the most steadfast unions in Hollywood.

But it wasn't meant to be.

And while Diane has had to fend off speculation she had been having an affair with Norman Reedus, Joshua has kept a low profile… until now.

Appearing at Television Critics Association press tour yesterday in order to present the third season of his Showtime drama The Affair,  Joshua was forced to field questions regarding fidelity and relationships failures.

And, unlike many of us who would fall apart having to address such topics in the aftermath of a break-up, the former Dawson's Creek star did himself proud.

When asked by a reporter what makes a relationship fall apart, 38-year-old Joshua responded: "I don’t know, truthfully."

Referring to characters in the show, Joshua continued: "I think each one of the situations is individual. The relationship between The Affair’s Helen and Noah presented its own issues."

Undoubtedly feeling the pressure given the timing of the press junket, Joshua finished by saying: "The relationship between Cole and Alison presented its own issues, and I’m not sure that there is an answer."

Props Joshua, props.

She’s part of one of the world’s most famous families and has been on TV since she was a child, but that hasn’t made Kendall Jenner any less ambitious when it comes to forging her own career.

In the two years since she began modelling full-time, Kendall has walked for Chanel, Alexandra Wang and Victoria Secrets, as well as appearing on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar, GQ and Marie Claire but until now she has not covered the pinnacle of all fashion magazines: Vogue.

Today Vogue and Kendall simultaneously announced that the reality star will take the coveted position of their September cover girl.

Taking to Instagram to share the cover shot with her 63 million followers, Kendall excitedly wrote: “In a room with a bunch of people I love, looking at this cover made me cry.  I F*CKING DID IT.  SEPTEMBER VOGUE.”

“This is the coolest thing ever!  Can’t thank you enough Anna, for giving me the honour.”

An interview between numerous members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and the famous magazine reveals that Kendall has been dedicated to modelling since she was just 13 years old.

Her older sister Kim said: “She had her eyes focused on exactly what she wanted to do… and she made it happen.”

But Kendall stressed that she did not want to be famous for the sake of it like her sisters often appear to be.

She said: “Obviously, my success came after my sisters' – I got to see all of their mistakes and watch out for them.”

The star also opened up about what it was like for her to watch the man who taught her “everything tomboy” – her father Bruce – transition into Caitlyn.

She said: “It's super ironic to think about now, but it's something I can thank my dad for: how much of a tomboy I was.”

“That's why I think the whole thing – her transition – was really hard for me, because I was like, ''But you taught me everything tomboy!'”

But while her father’s transition was difficult for her to process at the time, she now says seeing Bruce as Caitlyn is “super normal”.

She explained: “It's not weird at all.  Sometimes I look at a picture of my dad when she was a guy, and it makes me a little sad – I get emotional.  You have to get past it, you've got a new person to love.”

With such valuable experiences behind her, we're excited to see what Kendall does next.

If the word 'genius' was removed from Kanye West's vocabulary, he'd have a pretty hard time describing himself.

Convinced he's brought more creativity to the music industry than other artist, the Life of Pablo singer has never been shy about saying as much.

"For me, you know, I’m a creative genius," he once told Jimmy Kimmel. "And there’s no other way to word it."

Well, as far as Paul McCartney is concerned, there are a few ways to word Kanye's contribution to the world of music, but 'genius' isn't one of them.

When asked by Rolling Stone if he agreed with Kanye's description of himself, the Beatle said: "I don't throw that word around. I think he's a great artist."

Softening the blow for poor ol' Yeezy, Paul continued: "Take My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I played it when I was cooking, and it was like, ‘This is good. There's some really innovative stuff."

And while he may not consider Kanye a genius, Paul was obviously more than willing to work with the star.

Recalling his decision to collaborate with Kanye and Rihanna, Paul told he publication: "When the word came from his people, through my people, I thought, ‘Let's give it a go.'"

Kanye, that's all you can ask of a Beatle, OK?

Since Harry Potter and the Cursed Child debuted, nobody can stop talking about it.

From the reveal of new characters, to the storyline and surprises, JK Rowling has certainly taken us on a ride.

But last night, Ron Weasley met Ron Weasley… and it was magic.

Yep, Rupert Grint met the man playing his older self, Paul Thornley and the pictures that came from the night are brilliant:

A dazzling white smile has long been seen as something to aspire to, but how far would you be willing to go to ensure that your pearly whites are, well, white?

A random new trend has been gaining momentum in the blogosphere recently as online beauty gurus have started endorsing the use of charcoal as a tooth whitener.

Activated charcoal – a powder created when carbon is treated with an oxidising agent – is now being used to whiten teeth, as people believe the black stuff’s adhesive nature will bind with stains and remove them.

According to Oddity Central, the formula is commonly used in medical environments to treat poisonings and drug overdoses and while it is an excellent absorber of bad substances, it is equally good at removing healthy substances from the body.

Activated charcoal can be bought in supplement form.  Once a capsule of the substance is opened and mixed with water, it turns into a paste which can be used like regular toothpaste.

A dental expert told Indy100 that there is no scientific evidence to support the use of charcoal as a tooth whitener, so those encouraging its use are doing so solely based on their own experiences.

While its benefits have yet to be properly tested, activated charcoal toothpaste sure does make for a murky-looking mouth.

Earlier this year, Colton Haynes of Teen Wolf and Arrow fame decided he no longer wanted to hide his sexuality from the public, and made the decision to come out in May.

Explaining that he hadn't felt ready to reveal that part of himself to his fans until this year, the popular actor insisted he's happier than he's ever been.

"It took me so long to get to this point, but I’m doing so good. I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and healthier than I’ve ever been, and that’s what I care about," he said at the time.

However, despite Colton's upbeat attitude, the star was concealing the fact that he had been told that his father's decision to take his own life was due to his son's sexual orientation.

In an exceptionally revealing interview with Out magazine, the 28-year-old, who came out to family and friends at 14, explained that he had shouldered responsibility for his father's tragic passing.

"But I was told that my dad killed himself because he found out I was gay," he explained. "So, of course, I lost it and was like, 'How could you say something like that."

"No one will ever really know the truth," he added.

Colton told the publication that he doesn't expect pity on account of his father's death nor the fact he was forced to consider the possibility that his sexuality was the catalyst for his passing.

He's made it well known that he's bad at dating and we were probably as surprised as him when we found out that nobody bothered to swipe right for him on Tinder.

But now it seems like Zac Efron has a beauty in his sights.

The actor has been cheering on the US women's gymnastics team since the Olympic games began, and we think he has a little crush for Simone Biles.

The gymnast was talking to NBC News recently, where she let slip that she has a little crush on the star (and even has life-size cut-out of Zac in her bedroom!).

However, it seems to be Zac making the first move as he wrote about his admiration of her on Twitter.

"So phenomenal a skill's named after her. Congrats on sticking the Biles and qualifying for the finals @simone_biles!"

And the tweet didn't go unnoticed, either. Simone replied to Mr Efron, saying: "Thanks Zac! I hope you can watch Team Final tomorrow night."

And of course, Zac listened to Simone and shared this picture:

We love the little winky face he threw in there.

She may be an incredible actress who can actually make Eggos look appealing, but it turns out Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame can also really sing.

In footage which has been uploaded to YouTube, the hero of the latest Netflix smash hit show channels her inner Ed and Amy, and the public are seriously impressed.

Before performing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran – who is currently being sued on the grounds that the song bears a striking similarity to a Marvin Gaye track – the young actress appears a tiny bit nervous, but then comes into her own in footage which has been viewed almost 100,000 times.

More recently, the 12-year-old actress gave it her all to Amy Winehouse's You Know I'm No Good, and while YouTubers cannot get enough, many couldn't help but turn attention towards Millie's role as Eleven in the sci-fi show.

Praising Millie's performance on Stranger Things, fans of the actress insist her star is only set to rise, with one writing: "They are going to put you on the big screen. just wait and see."

We're with them on that one.

While other countries are guaranteed a consistent supply of Vitamin D during the summer months, those of us in Ireland have to wait with fingers crossed for the sun to reveal itself.

So we’re sure you’ll be delighted to hear that this weekend we’re in for some sun.

According to the Independent, Ireland’s temperature will begin to rise today with those in the sunny South East benefitting the most.

Between Sunday and Tuesday temperatures in the west of the country are expected to reach 25 degrees, while the rest of us should be prepared for 21 degrees.

Unfortunately you’ll have to make the most of the weekend sunshine as Mr Sun will be dashing off late on Tuesday, only to be replaced by a thunderstorm.  From there temperatures will drop to around 10 degrees.

Well, you can’t accuse an Irish summer of being boring!

When Katherine Heigl slammed the movie she starred in alongside Seth Rogen in 2007, the Canadian actor admitted he felt fairly taken aback by the star's take on their time filming together.

Speaking to Howard Stern at the beginning of the week, Seth explained that he had fond memories of filming Knocked Up with Katherine, and was surprised that the Grey's Anatomy star didn't feel the same.

And yet despite the less-than-subtle hammering Katherine gave Seth and filmmaker Judd Apatow in the press following the movie's release almost a decade ago, Seth wished Katherine the best this week.

And it looks like Seth's kind words had an effect on the star who has been known to call out her co-workers over the course of her professional career.

Reflecting on Seth's chat with Howard on Monday, Katherine said: "I think he's handled it so beautifully. I feel nothing but love and respect."

While attending the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Tour Party on Wednesday, Katherine acknowledged that she never doubted the pair's mutual respect, and was keen to riciprocate.

"It was so long ago, and I just wish him so much goodness. I felt that from him, too," she told the press.

Aw, you guys!

It's safe to say a lot of us had a few dodgy jobs growing up, but Calvin Harris' list is quite… unique.

A lot of controversy has been surrounding the DJ lately, so he took some time out on Twitter to tell his fans what his first jobs were.

Writing in a list, Calvin has worked in a fish factory, Marks & Spencers and Safeway over the years:

In the place of number seven, Calvin just leaves a question mark, and I can't help but think he's trying to tell us something.

Is he going to embark on a new career? Or is he just going to do some spin-off business?

Believe me, watch this space.
