We're big fans of Princess Kate around these parts – so today we've been pretty ecstatic at the news that the British royal has just made her SnapChat debut.

And while sadly, the 34-year-old hasn't set up her own profile just yet (imagine the totes adorbs snaps of George and Charlotte!), she did appear on the social media platform via winning semi-finalist Serena Williams's account.

Hurrah!

In the video, which was taken at Wimbledon earlier today, the Duchess Of Cambridge can be seen rocking a bright yellow dress from Roskanda alongside the clearly delighted tennis superstar.

Sophie, Countess Of Wessex is also in attendance and after Kate beckons for her to join the party-of-two, she can also be seen smiling warmly for the footage.

And while the wife of Prince Wills is evidently rocking her best 'I'm not so sure about this but I better just play along' face – with Ms Williams, Wimbledon's current defending champion, is relishing the moment.

Indeed, at one stage she announces: "OK so I'm in the in crowd now… I'm with royalty!"

With Serena now through to Saturday's final, and with the Duchess due to make further SW19 appearances over the course of the final few days of the competition, here's to hoping we can nab another few SnapChat sneak-peaks of Kate.

We all know the struggle – You're on a night out, and JUST when you decide it's time to get yourself a Hailo, your phone runs out of battery.

Well, this problem is soon to become a thing of the past, with the invention of a fabulous new jacket.

This ultimately means your phone will charge while in your pocket, solving every person's #firstworldproblems.

The company is currently raising funds through a kick-starter campaign online, with the hopes of creating interest in the product.

An official release date for this futuristic jacket is yet to be released, but it is expected that the item will retail for around €300.

Oh and the best part? The jacket is machine washable!

It was a sad day for all One Direction fans when Zayn announced he was leaving the band.

It seemed sudden and confusing, but to be fair, he's opened up about it a lot since departing from the lads.

However, one thing he has never said is who pushed him to leave and said he could make it on his own.

Did his parents have a say? His agent? Could it even have been Perrie Edwards before the break-up?

Well, not quite.

While speaking to Glamour, the megastar said it was an alien that made him do it. An ALIEN….???

His exact words were, "An alien spoke to me in a dream."

Hmmm, whatever floats your boat, Zayn.

We're not sure if Zayn was totally taking the p*ss here, but he answered the rest of Glamour's questions quite seriously… So who knows, maybe it was an alien. Or, maybe not.

Margot Robbie, you might want to look away now – Wait, Margot Robbie reads this, right?

She does, of course she does.

Anyway, while Ms. Robbie admits she spent her teen years desperately trying to look like Harry Potter – no, seriously – one girl on Instagram has actually managed it for real.

Annelies Van Overbeek, who bears a striking resemblance to movie icon, Audrey Hepburn, has Instagram enthralled by her incredible transformations, but it's her Harry Potter one that has really caught the public's imagination.

Sharing two snaps of herself as everybody's favourite wizard, Annelies wrote: "And now for something completely different; my second attempt at looking like Harry Potter!"

"I watched The Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday and tonight we're watching The Goblet of Fire! (My fave HP book!)," she added alongside a photo of herself looking remarkably like the young male wizard.

"Don't worry, I didn't forget the scar! Nor did I cut my hair hahah!" she wrote alongside another close-up snap of her impressive transformation.

Let's be honest here, girl's got skills.

So you know when you are handed a gift that leaves little to be desired and you have to fake a smile? Yeah, well the Queen really needs to work on her fake smile!

Queen Elizabeth was visiting Dundee yesterday with the Duke of Edinburgh, and did her usual shaking of hands and receiving of flowers walk along the crowd of onlookers.

While we're sure she is well used to receiving gifts from her fans, she was definitely NOT expecting to be handed a (ripped) plastic bag from B&M containing toys for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The hand over was captured by one very amused onlooker who, upon closer examination, saw just how ‘impressed’ (read: horrified) the Queen was by the gesture!

According to reports, the snapper uploaded the picture to Facebook with the caption: “The best moment of seeing the Queen today was, by far, auld Betty’s face when the wifey next to me handed her a ripped B&M bag with toys for George and Charlotte. Luckily I captured that moment.”

Not surprisingly, Twitter has gone absolutely crazy for the picture with many finding the whole thing absolutely HILARIOUS!

Everyone's favourite controversial comedienne took to social media yesterday to explain to her fans that she had a massive health scare.

In a heart-felt Facebook post, Sarah told readers that she had gone to her doctor as a result of a sore throat, but it turned out that she was suffering from "a freak case of epiglottitis."

Epiglottitis is a condition that causes swelling of the cartilage lid that covers the windpipe. The condition can block the flow of air into a person's lungs, and is potentially fatal.

Sarah, 45, described her entire experience stating that she owed her life to "Dr. Shawn Nasseri, Dr. Robert Naruse, Dr. Rob Huizenga, every nurse, and every technician & orderly at Cedars who's punch-the-clock jobs happen to save human lives on the regular."

The Saturday Night Live star also took the time to recognise her boyfriend, actor Michael Sheen, who was by her side throughout the whole ordeal, calling him her "real-life hero."

In her lengthy post on Facebook, Sarah was sure to include a couple of jokes, because well, she is HILARIOUS.

She recalls stopping one of her nurses and "furiously wrote down a note and gave it to her. When she looked at it, it just said, "Do you live with your mother?" next to a drawing of a penis."

Good to know that even when the chips are down, Sarah can still make people laugh.

We are wishing her a speedy recovery!

Snapchat is quickly becoming our favourite social media platform.

Between hilarious face-swaps, and the use of emojis, we simply cannot get enough of this App.

In its most recent update, Snapchat released a new (and amazing) feature that will take it to a whole new level.

Snapchat memories is the latest addition to the snap-fam, and it makes saving pictures and videos much easier.

snapchat

In a press release posted on the company's blog yesterday, they described the new feature.

"Memories is a new way to save Snaps and Stories on Snapchat. It’s a personal collection of your favorite moments that lives below the Camera screen. Just swipe up from the Camera to open Memories!"

"You can use Memories to create new stories from Snaps you’ve taken, or even combine different stories into a longer narrative!"

"It’s fun to celebrate an anniversary or birthday by finding a few old Snaps and stringing them together into a new story."

Doesn't that sound like the coolest new feature EVER?

Happy snapping everyone!

Everyone spends their money on different things. Splashing the cash on a new Givenchy handbag is the dream to some and a total waste to others.

Yet, when someone spends nearly ten thousand Euro on a bunch of grapes, some eyebrows will be raised and some very difficult questions will have to be answered.

The bunch of about 30 grapes were sold for 1.1m yen (€9,777) in Japan – but these aren't just your usual run-of-the-mill grocery store grapes, they're actually a symbol of high status.

Each grape (worth about €317) is roughly the size of a ping-pong ball and each one has to pass a number of tests to qualify as a 'Ruby Roman'.

Grown in the Ishikawa region (where they're strict on only growing Ruby Roman grapes) each grape must weigh at least 20g and have a sugar content of at least 18%.

Seasonal fruit in Japan is actually regularly sold for large sums of money to buyers seeking social prestige, or shop owners who want to show off to their customers.

The lucky man who bought Thursday’s grapes promised he would give samples to a few lucky customers.

“These are truly Ruby Roman gems,” he said. “We will display them at our store before giving our customers a sample taste."

Since the advent of social media, the internet has been awash with people naming and shaming each other.

Tagging mates in compromising positions and sharing snaps of someone else's fail have been part and parcel of social media since we first heard the term BeboStunnah.

But knowing where to draw the line is, and will continue to be, a contentious issue among social media users.

Dividing Facebook users yesterday, Stevie Wilcock made the decision to share the description of a random woman he assumed was cheating on her partner.

Without knowing the context of the conversation he overheard, Stevie came to the conclusion that a woman he encountered in a coffee shop was cheating on her partner, and decided to raise the alarm on social media (As you do.)

Offering a description of the woman – he estimated her age and described what she was wearing – he then went on to reveal her location and her car registration number in a supposed effort to alert her partner to her assumed infidelity.

While some social media users praised Stevie's supposed detective work and immediately cast aspersions on the woman in question, others were understandably irate that a stranger would jump to conclusions and go on to share someone's personal details in a public post.

"This is terrible, there but for the grace of god for goodness sake, not knowing the facts this unfeeling person could be causing so much damage I despair of the human race," wrote one.

"She's in a petrol station talking to someone and….? Telling them a story??! Big deal," wrote another. "Be careful what conclusions you jump to you could be wrecking someone's life for no reason at all! Numpty."

"Chinese whispers spring to mind. U should get the facts straight before uploading private information on her car and her life all over FB – u have no idea of the story behind that woman," slammed yet another stunned Facebook user.

"In all honesty there could be 100 different reasons whilst she's there. Doesn't mean she's a cheat," she added.

Sorry Stevie, but we're with them on this one.

We’re all for being fearless with fashion, but when our experimentation ends up scaring the bejaysus out of children (SOMEONE, THINK OF THE CHILDREN!), we’re happy enough to cut our losses and accept defeat.

While we may have thought that the clown contouring fad was out there, blue lipstick – a new favourite of Kylie Jenner – has become one of THE hottest beauty and style trends of the summer; and it’s certainly an intimidating one.

Heavily filtered or not, most of us are humble enough to concede that Kylie looks freaking awesome in her Instagram posts, but does that mean we can all pull off a Kylie Kit-inspired look?

We decided to take it to the streets (well, Dundrum Town Centre, to be exact), to investigate!

While the light-blue ‘Skylie’ lip-kit has sent shockwaves throughout the beauty industry, I really didn’t see how the shade was going to flatter me in ANY way; so I decided to channel the trend with MAC’s limited edition ‘Matte Royal’.

This dramatic shade is described as a “deep blue with a matte finish”, and while it looks more indigo in some lights, it does a great job of tinging the skin around my lips PROPER blue!

After applying a heavy layer of my blueish-purple lippie and snapping a quick selfie, I felt tentatively confident that this would go down well among Dundrum’s Sunday crowd. I was a fearless fashionista embracing something a little different, and the worst that could happen was someone would talk about how ‘mort’ I was behind my back.

I could not have been more wrong!

Unless I happened to be walking around with a stream of toilet paper hanging out the back of my jeans, this lipstick was not a hit. Indeed, unlike the pleasant nods and compliments my beloved turban attracted, reactions to my blue lipstick ranged from irritation to pure fear.

I received a few puzzled glances from grown women like myself, who obviously thought it was a bit much for the day that was in it – fair enough. But it was the reaction of the children I met while running my errands that completely surprised and amused me – they were TERRIFIED!

At one point, while waiting for a friend outside of the bathrooms, I watched a four-year-old’s face contract with fear to the point where I legitimately thought she was going to burst into tears. Did she think I was a witch? A little bit, I reckon.

To give you a bit of context, I was wearing an outfit of black ripped jeans, a pink jersey and a multi-coloured tropical print bomber jacket; if I had been going for a gothic look, I had definitely swung a miss!

Maybe the child is just sensitive, or upset about something else, I assured myself. There was only one way to prove it – I proceeded to flash my biggest smile at every child who did a double-take when they crossed my path, and each of their reactions mirrored that of the first: while the slightly older children just stared at me in what I took to be confusion, the tiny tots legit thought I had just hitched a ride from Oz on a broomstick!

I would genuinely have loved to snap and share photos of these poor tots’ reactions, but that would be both illegal and creepy.

I’m not totally writing off the blue lipstick trend – one or two teens seemed intrigued, which admittedly made me feel like one of the ‘cool kids’; then I remembered that I’m 27, and even just using the phrase ‘cool kids’ makes me a giant loser.

Verdict: keep away from small children.

Hair removal can be a pain in the ass. No matter what way you choose to do it, it's either really sore, a HUGE effort or very expensive… We just can't win, ladies.

However, 'sugaring' has just popped into the mainstream, and it looks like it might be a cheaper and less-painful alternative – if you're brave enough to do it.

The technique has actually been around for yonks and is still practised in the Middle East, Northern Africa and Greece.

Sugar is mixed with water and lemon and made into a paste which is then used in a similar way to wax. The paste is rolled up and then applied to your skin, being pulled off in the same direction as your hair growth.

The all-natural alternative, which for some reason sounds horrible, has actually been hailed as the 'easy' approach to hair removal as the substance only sticks to your hair follicle and not your skin, making the pull less painful.

However, according to Cosmo, a lot of women say it's difficult to get the right consistency and it can be a really tricky procedure if you're on your own because everything just ends up a sticky mess. And knowing me, it'll end up ALL over the place.

BUT it's cheaper, apparently less painful (win) and is a "dream" to clean up compared to wax.

We're undecided in SHEmazing! HQ… would you give it a go?
