This family had a great idea of setting up a group chat on Whatsapp so new mother, Teresa could keep her loved ones informed of the birth of her child… Except it didn't exactly go to plan.

Various numbers were added into the group text and when her baby was born, she shared a photo with everyone.

But before she could go any further, a stranger wrote back to the message: "Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number."

Busy with the joy of being a new mum, Teresa didn't exactly notice the text at first and continued to text the weight of her newborn.

Before anyone could answer, the random texter said that he and "the boys" want to come and take a picture with the baby.

Other members of the group then copped on to what went wrong, but the stranger had the best response.

They asked for the room number of the hospital and actually turned up with presents for Teresa and her baby.

The story is going viral on Reddit and we can see why. This totally made our Monday a lot better.

Kris Jenner usually takes some style inspiration from her daughters – but we're thinking this time she took some inspiration from her grand daughter, North.

The LA Fashion Awards were hosted last night and the momager turned up with her beau Corey, dressed in a very weird tutu and polo neck jumper.

Now, those items of clothing will look weird on anyone, but then she sported the get-up with black heels decorated with bows and stars.

And fishnet tights… What??

On the other hand, her daughter Kim was dressed to kill; showing off her post-baby bod in a sequin dress and red strap shoes.

We know a tutu looks super cute on some people (ahem, North), but maybe leave it to the young ones, Kris.

*Competition closed – Congrats to Sarah Leddy*

Hurrah! The weather is finally getting a bit warmer and we're gradually transitioning into a spring wardrobe.

So say goodbye to dark and dreary colours and say hello to big, bright hues and pastels – for your nails, that is.

Many of us let our poor nails go over winter with the weather making them brittle and sore. But, with Sally Hansen's new Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes your nails will look better and stronger than ever.

You need to be in it to win it though, so head over to our Facebook or Instagram page to enter. Good luck!

Tanned, toned and smiling – yup, we reckon Britney Spears' image overhaul is just about complete.

The singer has been working hard on her figure over the last couple of years, and while her steady weight loss and increased muscle tone has been clearly visible for a while now, it's her latest Instagram snaps that really hadve us taking notice.

Just weeks after sharing two "mini music videos" showing her dancing in a black two-piece, the mum of two posted some altogether more relaxed photos yesterday – and there was no hiding those abs.

One such photo shows Brit standing on a golf course with her "little munchkins" – her niece Lexie and nine-year-old son Jayden. Wearing a pink crop top and bright blue shorts, the singer looks tanned, athletic and – most importantly – happy.

So what's Britney's workout secret? Well, there's no quick fix it seems. According to the woman herself, it's all about hard work.

The singer combines short, high-intensity workouts with cardio classes and – of course – high-octane dance rehearsals when she's working.

"I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time. I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio – usually running -move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as pushups, squats, and sit-ups, then finish it off with a stretch," the singer told Women's Health last year.

Often the mum combines two workouts in one day – going for forty laps in the pool after a Totally Drenched class at her local gym, Drenched Fitness.

"I love this class. It's high-energy and combines treadmill work with circuit training. Being in a group setting pushes me to work harder," she says.

Ever come home from work after a long day and just want a hug? Or maybe you're having a lazy weekend and just want to cuddle on the sofa and watch TV? Either way, cuddles are the best and we want them all the time.

Unfortunately, we can't have them all the time because that would mean we'd need our mother/BFF/lover by our side at all times. *Sob*

So, when we came across this Free Hug Sofa, we completely lost our minds.

The squashy chair can offer you all of the warmth and cosiness that cuddles give – without a person moaning that you're holding on too tight.

It also has extendable arms for all the free hugs you can take.

The Free Hug Sofa was designed by South Korean designer Eun Kyoung Lee, but unfortunately (brace yourselves) it's not available to buy.

Eun created it for the A'Design Awards but we're optimistic it might go into production… Hopefully.

Facebook always seems to hide little things for us, only for one person to figure it out and then the whole Internet turns crazy for it.

And the latest secret game is no different. But, if you're worrying about lengthy cheat codes or hidden entries, fear not because this basketball game is pretty easy to get into.

Once Facebook has ensured you've downloaded their latest version of Messenger, all you need to do is send a basketball emoji to a friend.

Yep, it's that easy – but be warned, it can become addictive.

Soon we'll all be on Messenger just to play games and not to…erm, talk to our friends.

Social media strikes again.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are probably the only couple in the world that can make a sad picture look super happy.

The selfie Gigi posted was adorable, but also sad because she was saying goodbye to her pet cat.

Gigi's cat Chubs passed away over the weekend and to honour the kitty cat, Gigi shared a photo of herself, her beau and her cat all cuddled up.

She captioned the snap, ":( we love you always chub."

If you're a keen fan of the model's Instagram, you'll know that Chub was basically part of the family and was always seen with Zayn since they started their relationship.

RIP cat version of Gigi, you probably had more time with celebs than we ever will.

The Image Business Of Beauty Awards: a glittering gala black tie dinner event held last night at Dublin’s swish DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

Hosted by the always dapper Darren Kennedy, in attendance were 500 industry professionals.

Suffice to say then that it’s a date in the diary that most eight months’ pregnant women would dread.

Not so for Pippa O’Connor, however, who is expecting her second child with her TV presenter husband Brian Ormond.

The 31-year-old, walked away with the award for Best Irish Beauty Blogger – and looked all sorts of oh-so-amazing in the process.

Wearing a slinky black dress with lace detail and studded orange Louboutins, Ms O’Connor – already mum to three-year-old Ollie – truly turned heads.

In fact, we dare say she hardly looks pregnant at all – never mind being on the verge of giving birth.

The former model recently enjoyed a romantic babymoon with her husband of five years: the duo hit Paris for a weekend break earlier this month. Making sure to hit the likes of the Eiffel Tower, Pippa said she “loved every minute,” of the trip.

And taking to her popular blog, pippa.ie, the Kildare-native said last month that she was “starting to feel” more pregnant.

“I’m feeling much bigger with a proper bump now!” she wrote. “I’m starting to get a little uncomfortable some days – just with back pain and aches.”

More recently she revealed that clothes that fitted her “only a week or 2 ago all of a sudden don’t now- the rapid growth at the moment is crazy”.

What an amazing few days in #paris with @brianormondtv loved every minute of it- such a treat. Memories to treasure

A photo posted by Pippa O'Connor Ormond (@pipsy_pie) on

She continued: “Baby is definitely getting big and strong each day – the kicks are so intense now and sometimes stop me in my tracks they’re that hard.”

The third annual Image Business Of Beauty Awards were held in association with Imedeen, Colgate and Boots, and recognised Ireland’s best beauty therapists and hairdressers as well as the country’s standout hair salons, beauty salons and skincare clinics.

Salon winners on the night included Waxperts; Tropical Popical, and Mimi’s Beauty Room.

An open vote allowing members of the public to name a new €255m Navy research vessel hasn't exactly gone to plan, thanks to the creativity of one cheeky voter.

After announcing that the name of its newest ship would be decided by a public vote, the UK's National Environment Research Council may be forced to dub the vessel the "RSS Boaty McBoatface".

The suggestion is currently leading the poll this morning with a whopping 24,000 votes and counting – a huge 21,000 ahead of its nearest competitor, RSS Henry Worsley.

Other suggestions getting attention so far include the RSS Usain Boat, the RSS It's Bloody Cold Here, the RSS Boatimus Prime, the RSS Ice Ice Baby and the simple but effective RSS Boat.

The 128m-long vessel, which is 128 metres long will operate in the Arctic and Antarctic for research purposes from 2019 onward, and will carry up to 90 scientists and support staff.

James Hand, who originally submitted the Boaty McBoatface suggestion, says he's sorry for the embarrassment to the ship's operators.

"I read the story about naming the ship on the BBC website on Thursday and some of the entries were really funny – my favourite was Clifford The Big Red Boat.

"I thought I would throw one into the ring. By Friday night it was leading by a couple of thousand, and when the site crashed on Sunday it was leading by 8,000. It's been utterly bizarre.

"I've apologised profusely to the people behind the website. It was my suggestion but the storm that has been created has legs of its own."

In an update last night though, the National Environment Research Council said the boat's final name could be vetoed by a panel. Party poopers.

It's looking like fans who want to get up close and personal with Mariah Carey, might not get close at all – even if you do pay €640 to meet her.

According to reports, the singer's bodyguards warns fans to keep their hands to themselves when going to meet the Hero singer during the pricey meet and greets.

A source told The Sun: "There were strict instructions for fans. No kissing, touching, grabbing or hugging Mariah. She was allowed to touch fans but they were told by bodyguards they weren't to touch her."

Nearly 650 quid is a bit pricey to just stand and stare at the singer, but her fans don't seem to mind.

"Everyone has been very respectful of the rule so far," the source said.

"Most of them are just so excited to meet Mariah they haven't cared too much about the fact they have to keep their distance. But a few fans have been grumbling it's a bit unfair."

We doubt Mariah will ever stop with her diva behaviour, and she'll probably amp it up a bit while she films her new reality show

Ah, the lives of the rich and famous.

Adele made quite the revelation during her most recent concert in London on Friday night.

While taking a break from singing, she chatted to the crowd about Rihanna and how she's banned herself from hanging out with the star.

And while she was talking about the Bajan beauty, she admitted she didn't want to lose her voice or get high by partying with RiRi.

The mother-of-one announced that she's headlining Glastonbury this summer, but needs to stay away from the party girl.

"I love her. I'm thinking of going to Coventry to watch Rihanna because she's playing Wembley the day before I play Glastonbury, and if I go to that, I'll have no voice, I know it," she told her fans.

"All the weed in the air – I'll get stoned. But, I love her, honestly, all of that new album I love."

Ah, Monday morning. It's the day that you need ALL the coffee in the world to get through – but alas, we'll just settle for a nice latte.

But, what if we told you coffee shops all across the capital are giving away coffee in exchange of a poem? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it's not.

Lovin Dublin and Irish poet Kerrie O'Brien noticed that cafés all over Eurpoe were giving out cups of coffee if you hand over a poem, written or spoken, instead of cash.

And since it's World Poetry Day today, Lovin Dublin wanted to spread the love in our fair city.

Loads of great coffee shops are taking part including Clement and Pekoe, Kaph, BB's and Nick's Coffee Co and many more are expected to join throughout the day.

So if you need a caffeine fix, head to one of these cafés and recite the perfect(ish) poem. Monday isn't so bad after all!
