He dated a load of his Towie castmates – including Lucy, Chloe and Lauren – but seemed to find true love with the stunning Emma McVey.

Still, it wasn't meant to be for Mario Falcone and his lingerie model girlfriend of eight months: the duo appear to have split for good.

The reality TV star has recently returned to the hit ITV2 show following his suspension, and he and Emma have enjoyed several jaunts abroad since beginning their relationship late last year.

Both regularly kept their fans updated with romantic images of their outings and day-to-day activities, but now Mario has done a total clearout… deleting 27-year-old Emma from every one of his social media posts.

Her Instagram account has also become noticeably quiet: unusually, she hasn't shared a single photo of her former beau for more than three weeks. She also took to Twitter over the weekend to report that she was "drained".

Mr Falcone and Ms McVey were rumoured to have broken-up in March following a spat, but it had seemed like they had put their differences aside.

Last time they fell out – supposedly because of his onscreen flirtations with ex Chloe Lewis – Emma was vocal about her dissatisfaction, going online to state via her Twitter account that she was "far too good" to put up with such behaviour.

"You slate your friends for disrespecting people for air time. Wow @Mario_Falcone you almost fooled me," she added at the time.

There’s one thing that we actually hate about the summer season; the bikini bod diets.

It feels like we’re inundated with the latest burn fat fast trends from January all the way through to September and while we love being fit and healthy, we also love Nutella.

Saying good bye to our favourite chocolate treats can be tough, but it’s all done in the name of health.

Deciding to cut out excess junk food is never easy, but finding healthier replacements can help ease the way for you. It's tempting to reach for the biscuit tin when that dreading afternoon slump hits, but now you can have something much healthier without sacrificing taste.

Hummus and crackers anyone? The Irish people have become obsessed with this protein filled snack as of late, and we think this might be taking it one step further. If you're one of the few who thought the spread didn’t seem so appealing we think we may have found the solution.

Chocolate flavoured hummus.

Get crazy this weekend and #dip your popcorn in some dark chocolate. Sweet & Salty Heaven.

Yes, it does sound bizarre, but reviews are excellent and apparently it’s one of the more tasty chocolate replacements out there. Yay! All of the flavour and none of the nasties that can totally derails your healthy eating plan.

Natural food company Hope Foods make the delicious spread which is also gluten and dairy free. There’s even a coconut flavour and they use all organic ingredients.

We’re keen to try it considering that it looks an awful lot like chocolate mousse, and that’s a big winner around these parts.

The accusation seemed incredible: Ben Affleck had become romantically involved with a 28-year-old nanny who had been employed to look after his three children.

Indeed, his reps a week ago totally dismissed the story, labelling it "garbage" and "full of lies".

Still, pictures have now emerged of Christine Ouzounian popping around to Mr Affleck's swish rented abode in Los Angeles. Waiting until late evening, she is also seen carrying a bottle of champagne.

"She says Ben really, really likes her," a pal of Ms Ouzounian’s told Us Weekly magazine recently. "She’s saying this is true love."

The 42-year-old actor and his 43-year-old actress wife Jennifer Garner – previously one of Hollywood's golden couples – separated in the spring shortly after Christine began caring for the couple’s three children, Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three.

Mr Affleck and the nanny have been photographed together repeatedly since then, including on June 30 in the Bahamas. Ms Ouzounian was fired the day after that photo surfaced.

She has also reportedly been driving his Lexus around LA.

The newly released photograph of the pair – the one capturing the late-night champagne hand-over – was taken on July 17. You can view it here

Incredibly, ET Online reports that Christine herself tipped off the paparazzi on that occasion – hoping that a snap of her and her former boss together could lead them to conduct a relationship more publicly.

Understandably, Jennifer is said by numerous publications and media outlets to be "livid" at the revelations.

If you attended the Ed Sheeran concert in Croke Park a few weeks ago, then you may just spot yourself in the latest installment of Bridget Jones' Diary.

The singer played to a sold out Croke Park a few weeks and it seems you may just get the chance to relive those amazing moments on the big screen.

The Sun has reported that the concert will be part of the next movie in the franchise, Bridget Jones's Baby.

The film makers filmed Renee Zellweger's body double on top of a man's shoulders while watching Ed's concert.

With the plot for the movie still completely under wraps, the body double had to be filmed instead of the actress. "There was no risk in filming Renée at a busy gig. But they knew the cat would be out the bag the minute people saw her at the show," a source told The Sun.

“Renée's body double and the cameramen were in and out of the crowd as quickly as possible."

“These are the first moments in early filming for the new movie. None of the show’s main talent have been involved yet.”

The next film is set to see Bridget give birth, however we have no idea who the father of the baby is just yet. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant fought for the attention of the main character in the past two films but it is yet unknown who the latest love interest will be.

Remember when Rebecca Black first came into our lives? Do you remember how one of the most commonly asked questions was: why, Rebecca?

Well, not too long ago people were asking themselves the same question (and many more) when one Montreal based woman became a viral sensation with her Jason Derulo cover.

Her cover of his single Other Side has over 10 million views on Facebook, and people are not finished watching yet.

After a little digging around the great big internet, IX Daily managed to track down the girl from the video, or should we say, the star of the video.

Her name is Octavie and she is 21-years old. She apparently disabled her Facebook account after she realised the video had gone viral in order to come up with a plan of action.

At the moment she works for Savini, which is the restaurant featured in the video. She explained that the video was never supposed to be released.

“It was not supposed to be on the internet because I knew it was bad. So when my friends start to text me saying that they saw my video I knew it was too late, and that it became viral.”

She said they her friends were supporting her throughout the experience. They were the ones responsible for editing the footage though.

She explained that while she came up with the video’s concept, she wasn’t expecting that finished product.

“All I can say is that it wasn't supposed to be as bad as it turned out to be. I don't know what my friends did with the editing, but it all came out so wrong.”

While she doesn’t seem entirely thrilled with the finished product, she is looking at the silver lining saying that despite the negative comments it has given her “incredible visibility”.

Only one in every 10 million of the world's population are 110-years-old or older, and Agnes Fenton is one of them.

For 70 years, Agnes from New Jersey had drank three beers and a shot of whiskey everyday and she is still going strong.

She has good hearing and sight and she spends her days reading the paper, listening to the radio and hanging out with her friends.

It sounds like she's really living the dream, she sleeps a lot and she loves chicken wings, green beans and sweet potatoes and she has no serious health problems.

This is not exactly what you would expect from someone who drinks every day, but yes every single day for 70 years she drank three cans of Miller High Life and a shot of Johnnie Walker whiskey. According to Agnes, after a serious health problem several years ago, the doctor told her to drink three beers a day and that's exactly what she did.

Recently she has quit drinking after 70 years on the advice of the people looking after her as she doesn't eat as much as she used to.

Agnes has been part of a study that focuses on people who live to be over 100-years-old and data has been collected on her for five years.

The head of this study said all of the people over 100 taking part in this study have a secret to staying alive so long but she's not so sure Anges' is alcohol.

But if you're planning on following Agnes' plans to try surpass that 100-year-old mark, we're not really sure we would advise it…

Over the past ten years alone, the Pill has helped to prevent an incredible 200,000 cases of womb cancer.

And in the 50 years since oral contraceptives were first introduced, a total of 400,000 incidents of the same cancer have been avoided.

That's according to Oxford University researchers – who also found that for every five years that a woman takes the oral contraceptive, the risk of developing endometrial cancer decreases by 25 percent.

And in females who have taken the Pill for ten years, rates of womb cancer diagnosis in under-75s also fall from 2.3 per 100 to just 1.3.

Previous research has shown that the Pill furthermore protects against ovarian cancer.

Incredibly, the Oxford study concluded that the protective effects of the Pill, which includes a dose of oestrogen, last for decades after someone stops taking the contraceptive – with women in their 20s continuing to benefit when they are in their 50s.

Professor Valerie Beral explained: "People used to worry that the Pill might cause cancer, but in the long-term, the Pill reduces the risk of getting cancer."

However, women are still being advised to weigh up the risks – especially if they have a family history of breast cancer – as some research suggests it can slightly increase the risk of this particular disease.

The Pill was first introduced in the US in May 1960, although back than it was licensed only for menstrual disorders.

In 1966, contraception became legal in the States for married women, and by the 1970s it was in wide usage. At the same time in Ireland, imports and sales of contraceptives had been expressly banned since 1935.

In 1971, the Irish Women’s Liberation Movement published a booklet called Chains Or Change, which called for equal pay, an end to the marriage bar, equal rights in law, justice for widows, deserted wives and unmarried mothers, equal educational opportunities and contraception.

They famously travelled from Dublin to Belfast and back on the ‘contraceptive train’, returning gleefully waving various birth control devices, then legal in Northern Ireland, at custom officials.

By 1978, the Irish Family Planning Act allowed the provision of contraceptives under prescription, and finally in 1985, condoms and spermicides could be sold without a doctor's approval.

We are a little disappointed because we have just managed to overcome the fascination of matching shoes and handbags.

It takes a lot for us to part with our favourite cosmetics and a night out is not an occasion where we are willing to leave them behind. Three separate lip glosses in varying shades are a must and don’t you dare try and tell us otherwise.

Then someone comes along and invents this gem and it’s all over, done.

The Sassy Stash is exactly the kind of accessory you dream up when you’re stuck in traffic in a taxi and can’t for the life of you get your clutch to close. Don’t pretend you haven’t been there.

A photo posted by #mysassystash (@mysassystash) on Lucky for us then, this lace garter with inbuilt pockets has come along to ensure you never lose anything again. Keeping your phone strapped to your leg for safe keeping just got- dare we say it, kind-of stylish?

It’s not the worst looking gadget we’ve come across in recent times. Clearly the Sassy Stash is designed with just the bare essentials in mind however.

We don’t think you’ll be trying to strap your new camera to your thigh next weekend, there’s also the issue of keys. That might not be the most comfortable when you’re doing your best Beyoncé moves in the club.

We think that there is certainly potential for this to take off, but there might be some things to take into consideration.

Finally, a good reason to not feel guilty about a mid-week take away!

The latest research from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is saying that those of us partial to a spicy curry once or twice, or even three times, a week are living longer than those who don’t eat spicy food.

People who eat spicy favourites like tikka masala, jalfrezi or vindaloo are 10 per cent less likely to die than those who don’t eat them as often.

Even better news if you have a serious thing for curry because those who snacked on some spicy treats daily had a 14% lower risk of death.

The study was the largest of its kind and the results have also indicated that people who eat spicy foods regularly are in the receiving end of various health benefits. So basically, forget about cooking tonight, you can absolutely indulge in at least once dinner out a week, right?

Apparently regular spice eaters are less likely to die if they were suffering from diabetes, cancer, heart disease or respiratory disease.

The study was conducted using “observational” methods. Which makes us wonder if they need volunteers for a repeat study? We would be open to that for sure.

The bioactive ingredient in spices, capsaicin, is thought to be an anti-obesity, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory wonder spice.

However, some positives from the spice could be erased if people drank alcohol and reduced their exercise.

Thank you science.

Probably one of the hardest parts of being healthy is swearing off bread. Even just typing the word bread makes us really really want some bread.

But thankfully, there's an easy way of over-coming this craving and that is by making your own guilt free bread.

This way you can still satisfy the bread craving, without any of the nasty ingredients that cause bloating and weight gain.

The great thing about these breads is there are a few reoccurring ingredients, so once you buy them you will have plenty of use for them.

For all of the recipes below, feel free to add your favourite nuts or seeds to give them an extra crunch.

1. Banana bread

  • 4 mashed bananas
  • 4 eggs
  • 140g almond butter
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 75g cup coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt

This one is our personal favourite as it satisfies your craving for bread and for something sweet all at the same time.

All you have to do is combine your bananas, eggs, almond butter and coconut oil and mix them extremely well. Then simply add in your coconut flour and the remainder of the ingredients. Put the mix into a bread tin and bake for 50-55 minutes on 180C.

2. Sweet potato bread

  • 300g of cooked sweet potato
  • 110g of coconut flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Pinch of salt

This recipe is quick and easy so we love it! It feels like you are really indulging but it's extremely nutritious.

Once you have cooked the sweet potato, combine it with all of the other ingredients and pre heat your oven to 180C. Bake in the oven for 40 minute, then for a further 20 minutes while covered in tin foil.

3. Yoghurt and oat bread

  • 1 large tub of low fat natural yogurt (500 ml)
  • 2 tubs of fine porridge oats
  • 2 tsp of bread soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Fat Free Milk

This is another seriously food-proof recipe which we love.

For this one, simply place bread soda salt, and the yoghurt into a mixing bowl. You can then you the tub from the yoghurt to measure out two full tubs of porridge oats to add to the bowl and stir it all together thoroughly. Add beaten egg and milk and it's good to go. Bake at 180C for 50 minutes.

Most of us gals strive to get the most from our makeup… and here at SHEmazing Towers, we have come across a quick and easy trick on how to make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Hurrah!

The secret is called "tightlining" and we've created the ultimate how-to guide to achieve the look…

Tightlining covers up the gap between your eyeliner and your lid which helps to open up your eyes and make them appear much bigger.

The first step in this process is to get a waterproof eyeliner. You can use any one that you're comfortable with but for best results we suggest you use a gel liner as it won't bleed or pull on your skin.

You have to use a waterproof eyeliner as you will be applying it to the wet part of your lid so if it runs you'll end up looking like The Joker… not such a sexy look.

The next step is to look down and with your finger gently pull your eyelid up and then draw on the upper waterline.

This method will take some practice so remember to stay calm and be as steady as you can. Also try not to blink as the eyeliner is drying.

DO NOT use an excessive amount of product or use too much force when applying it or else you will just end up with sore and stinging eyes. Ouch.

If you want an even bigger impact, release your lid and press another round of liner to your lash line. This step is optional but it's good for an evening-time or big event look.

To finish off your look, apply a few layers of mascara and BAM!… next level eye make up has been achieved!

It happens all the time; so surely you or someone you know can relate to poor Rachael Ryan’s plight?

The 23-year old from Portlaoise is apparently not alright with the decision of her best friend Katy to settle down with her boyfriend.

Taking matters into her own hands, Rachael took to Facebook in an effort to find a replacement.

The electrician decided that after Katy and her boyfriend Daniel made things official this week, she was going to need someone to fill the Katy-shaped void in her life.

She is careful to stress that she is very happy for the pair and wishes them the best of luck in the future.

However, she is not going to let her talk fall on deaf ears: “Sadly, I have lost the person that is always there 24/7, to listen to me talk sh*te,” she wrote, “since Katy does not have the hours to keep up with me, a ‘new best friend’ position has opened up.”

Speaking to the Irish Mirror Rachael says that she wrote the post “for the craic” after seeing news of the new couple’s status all over social media. She added that the reaction to her own post was something she never expected.

She explained that both Katy and Daniel have taken the joke well (good to know) and that she knows Katy isn’t disappearing forever:

“Even though Katy has a boyfriend, she’ll always be my best friend.”

Do you think you have what it takes to be Racheal’s new BFF? Well, you better check out some of the criteria first, because Racheal is not messing around.

No time-wasters, please. Rachael says if you think you have what it takes you can add her on Snapchat: youngryaners
