It has been reported that Elizabeth Olsen has ended her relationship with fiancé, Boyd Holbrook less than a year after their engagement.

A source confirmed the break-up to US Weekly not long after the Godzilla actress was spotted without her engagement ring over the weekend.

Elizabeth previously spoke of her excitement to Marie Claire about the engagement, saying that planning a wedding was a lot of fun: “I’m relaxed about it but I am excited and planning ideas because it’s fun – it’s just like throwing a party to celebrate life. I love being in a relationship a lot.”

Elizabeth and Gone Girl actor Boyd’s engagement came around the same time as news of her sister, Mary-Kate’s engagement to Olivier Sarkozy broke.

Since then, Mary-Kate is rumoured to have married her French fiancé, as the couple were spotted with matching wedding rings.

Every couple argues from time to time, even the healthy ones. But there are a few arguments that tend to happen over and over again.

Will we ever learn?!

Here are a few of the old favourites…

1. The "no, it's YOUR turn" argument
Usually relating to cooking dinner, washing the dishes, taking the bins out or some other undesirable chore. "But I washed the dishes two days in a ROW last week!"

2. The "I'm not watching that" argument
He wants to watch Game of Thrones, but you're feeling in more of a Good Wife mood. Cue heated discussion about whose choice should win, leaving one of you grudgingly agreeing to watching what the other wants (well, hopefully).

3. The "can you just put your phone away for two seconds?" argument
You're out for dinner, but he feels NOW'S the time to check in with the lads' WhatsApp group. "Hang on, I just have to watch this 'Best Ronaldo Goals of the Last Decade' video on YouTube and then I'll be riiiight with you."

4. The "I told you to stop!" argument
Usually occurs after an innocent cuddle/tickle fight has gone wrong. You're just as likely to be the one at fault as he is… tickling is a dangerous activity!

5. The "eh… who's she?" argument
Social media is a goldmine for potential argument fodder. He's been liking that girl from work's photos an AWFUL lot lately… even if they are just snaps of the latest team-building session.

6. The "you skipped ahead on House of Cards WITHOUT me?" argument
He was away for the weekend, and you just couldn't resist the temptation to sneakily watch a new episode of your favourite TV show. All's well until he clocks the "Last Watched" section on Netflix and promptly freaks out.

7. The "what do you want to eat?" argument
"Pizza?" "No, too carby." "Indian?" "Ugh, I hate Indian." "Well, where do you WANT to eat?" "…I don't mind, you choose."

8. The "you're too drunk" argument
No drunk person can ever admit that they're actually drunk (it's a cardinal rule) so this argument is always going to end in trouble.

Poor Lola's dad has a few difficult years ahead of him, we reckon.

The adorable Irish one-year-old flat out refuses to get down from the coffee table, and what ensues has to be the cutest argument of all time.

We love her hand-on-hip stance at the end – we'll be borrowing that sassy move, thanks Lola!

Dad wins out in the end though, as he has the eternal advantage of being able to pick up his opponent and simply place her on the floor. Touché!

Twitter was awash with tributes today after the tragic death of fitness instructor, model and actor Greg Plitt over the weekend.

Greg was hit by a train on Saturday while filming an ad for one of his diet products in Los Angeles.

"He had on all black. The train went by. I saw him stumble over the tracks. He had a camcorder in his hand," said one onlooker.

The renowned fitness instructor is also known for his modelling work with Calvin Klein and his acting roles in The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon and Terminator 4 with Christian Bale.

Many celebrities have taken to social media to share messages of sadness and shock, with glamour model Jodie Marsh leading the tributes. "Holy s**t, just seen the awful news about greg Plitt. An amazing fitness model & so hugely motivational. He will be so missed #RIPGregPlitt," she wrote on her Twitter page this morning.

Celebrity personal trainer Russ Howe also expressed his disbelief at the shocking accident. "R.I.P. Greg Plitt. One of the most awesome people the fitness industry has ever known," he wrote.

Our thoughts are with Greg's family at this hard time.

Fans had high hopes for a reunion between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber after the pair were spotted out for dinner together in Beverly Hills late last week. But a source close to the star says that Selena decided it was time to move on once and for all after the date didn't go as expected.

"It was a huge disappointment for Selena because he’s basically the same Justin…all talk and all talk basically about himself," said the insider.

"He was bragging about himself the whole time, and how 2015 was going to be his best and most successful year ever. Selena thought he was going to try and win her back and profess his undying love, but he didn’t."

Poor pet! At least she has someone to cheer her up, though – Selena's rumoured new boyfriend Zedd revealed a pretty telling picture of a Facetime session between the pair last night.

The musician posted this snap of his new lady, who is in Atlanta filming her new movie, The Fundamentals of Caregiving:

Selena is seen laughing in the black-and-white picture, while wearing what looks like some seriously skimpy PJs, while Zedd smiles happily.

The budding romance was first revealed in a hand-holding PDA picture taken of the two after the Golden Globes.

Selena also admitted that she's been "missing" Zedd while she's away on set, sharing another couple picture shortly after the pair finished Facetiming, with the caption, "missing la and this punk, just a little tonight, shooting starts soon!! Eeeeekkkk –Fundamentals of Caregiving!!"

We're glad to see Selena so happy again!

What makes a person the perfect boyfriend or girlfriend? We all know this goes far beyond looks and when we look for someone to have a deep and meaningful relationship with – there are some essential traits.

Here are the signs that THAT person in your life is a keeper for sure:

1. They encourage you to spend time with your friends and family without them

2. They make the effort to get to know your friends and family

3. Their jealousy levels are a normal level and never OTT

4. They send little reminders that they are thinking of you; funny photos, texts, articles etc.

5. They don't make you jealous by flaunting other women in your face

6. They love having you around their friends

7. They keep up to date with your professional life and fully support you in your endeavours

8. They only ever use positive words about your appearance and body and never miss an opportunity to tell you that you look smashing

9. They hold your hair back after that "oopsie daisy" Cosmo too many – this is an essential trait really, ladies

10. They respect your opinion at all times even when they may not agree with it, resulting in stimulating conversations (or, you know, huge fights)

Bonus: They make you insanely happy – because at the end of the day that's all that really matters!

There won't be any housemates left to win at this rate!

New Celebrity Big Brother contestant Katie Price may have only entered the house on Saturday night, but rumours of her premature departure have already started.

Katie is reportedly "in agony" after a scar from her recent boob reduction failed to heal properly and became infected, and she's delaying getting the problem sorted until after her time on the show ends.

The former glamour model discussed her worries herself on Saturday, and although she said she plans to stay in the house, Katie is apparently missing out on vital surgery which was booked in for today.

"The scar has gone septic," Katie told fellow contestant Cami Li when she tried to give her a hug.

"They were going to take them out on Monday because the implant was hanging out…I can only lift one of my arms because of all the swelling. But the pain wasn't enough to stop me from coming in here. It's not like I’m running around or anything."

Alexander O'Neal became the third housemate to leave the show without a public eviction yesterday, after receiving a warning for using "homophobic" language towards celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

An inside source told the Daily Star that CBB bosses are worried about the fate of the show if any more housemates leave unexpectedly. "We can't possibly lose any more celebrities. We're cursed," said the insider.

With a £500,000 (€652,000) fee at stake for her time on the show, we reckon Katie would have to be in some serious pain to decide to leave… but it's certainly not a good idea to put her health at risk for the sake of money!

There's nothing worse than being caught unawares giving it socks to your favourite song… but at least no-one would ever publish it online. Right? RIGHT?

This policeman's hilarious Taylor Swift tribute was caught in full on his car's dashboard camera, and his cruel colleagues have posted the entire thing to YouTube.

We know he might be more than a little embarrassed today, but we have to say, those are some FLY moves!

Taylor even submitted her own official feedback of the poor cop's performance, posting the video on her official Twitter account and instantly bringing the view count up into the millions:

Global online fame for lip synching to a pop song… just a standard day in the life of a cop!

Well, that ended fast!

Although her new role on Coronation Street was just announced by ITV bosses last week, actress Katie Redford has already been sacked from the show.

Katie was lined up to play the role of Sarah Platt's 14-year-old daughter Bethany, but she was quickly fired after revelations emerged that she was 25, and not 19 as she claimed.

An official press release published by ITV on Friday stated the actress' age as 19, but fans were quick to correct the channel bosses after seeing information online which indicated she was actually born in 1989, making her 11 years older than her character.

The actress' former Twitter handle was @katieredford89, though it was later changed to @katieredfordtlc. This online CV also lists Katie's year of birth as 1989:

At 25, Katie is just six years younger than actress Tina O'Brien who plays Bethany's mum Sarah.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed that the role would be recast and that producers already have another actress in mind.

The character of Bethany was last seen on the show in 2007 after she moved to Italy with Sarah, but the pair will return to the Weatherfield cobbles as regular characters this year. The role of Bethany in her younger years was played by actresses Mia Cookson, Amy Walton and Emily Walton.
