Bananas are a great snack to carry with you on the go. From being a mineral-enriched fruit to helping you stay full for longer, the health benefits of eating bananas are just endless really.

Hello energy
Having a banana is a great way to boost your energy levels. The carbohydrates and natural sugar can help keep you energised for much longer than a can of Red Bull.

Bye bye constipation
If you want to make sure everything down there is in good working order, then eat more bananas.  They contain just enough fibre to improve digestion and regulate bowel movements.

Healthy heart
The potassium in bananas helps keep your blood pressure in check. Regular consumption of bananas will help you maintain a normal heartbeat and reduce your chances of having a stroke.

Just keep smiling
When eaten, the protein in this fruit converts to serotonin, a substance known to enhance moods. So if you’re feeling down, a banana can help put you in a good mood.

No more cravings
The natural sugar in bananas mean you can have a healthy snack to fight sugar cravings.

Staying in tonight? Well, seeing as it is Valentine’s Day why not make your bedroom that little bit more romantic?

Add a little mood lighting
Candles are the perfect way to create a romantic vibe. Mix tea lights with chunky candles and stick in a few scented ones too.

Plenty of cushions
A bed is irresistible when it looks comfy so pile cushions onto the bed. Make sure you change your sheets though.

Use rose petals
Sprinkle rose petals all over the bed and the floor. Your other half might not like them but hey, it’s your room too.

Play some music
Nothing says romance like the sound of music. Avoid Taylor Swift at all costs.

However, before you go to all this effort, you might want to make sure your room is clean and clutter free. Nothing is more off putting than tripping up on dirty clothes.

This year’s Hugo Boss show at New York Fashion Week certainly turned out the A-listers with Gwyneth Paltrow, Benedict Cumberbatch, Reese Witherspoon and Diane Kruger in attendance to name but a few.

This year’s Boss show also marked the first show under the artistic direction of Jason Wu.

Jason is most famous for being the designer behind Michelle Obama’s dresses for not only the first but also the second inauguration of President Obama.

All the stars were dressed classically in beautiful black suits and dresses with Gwyneth and Diane going for a monochrome vibe.

Sleeping is essential to keep the mind and body healthy; however, as these five myths show, many of us are still managing to get it wrong.

Myth 1
You can catch up on missed sleep at the weekend.

Busted
There’ no catching up. You actually need to maintain a regular sleeping schedule seven days a week.

Myth 2
The older you get the less sleep you need.

Busted
Even adults need at least seven to nine hours of good sleep.

Myth 3
If you wake in the middle of the night you should just lie there and wait for sleep.

Busted
If you can’t get back to sleep within 15 minutes you should get up and try reading. This will help relieve the stress of getting back to sleep.

Myth 4
A glass of wine will help you nod off.

Busted
Wine will help you nod off but you will end up with a fragmented sleep which is not good.

Myth 5
An afternoon nap will disrupt your bedtime.

Busted
A nap can be a good thing once you keep it under 30 minutes and don’t have one too close to bedtime.

Constant speculation about her love life, daily updates of her latest supposed pregnancy – it must be tiring for Jennifer Aniston.

Even the headlines yesterday speculated that her relationship may be in trouble because she celebrated her birthday with her friend Courtney Cox. A woman wanting to spend an occasion with a best friend rather than a boyfriend? How shocking, it must be over.

Jennifer attended the first Makers Conference yesterday and interviewed feminist, journalist and social activist, Gloria Steinem.

She asked her a very interesting question that related to her own life quite poignantly: “I know you’ve come up against this, and I certainly have too … our worth is basically associated with our marital status or whether or not we have procreated.”

Steinham replied to this with a witty quip: “Well, I guess we’re in deep sh**”, to which Jennifer fully agreed, “That’s what I thought. Just wanted to make sure that was the case. That we are, in fact, in deep sh**.”

Well, at least she knows where she is at and doesn’t take any notice to all of the public speculation on her life, we love you Jen!

Jessica Alba certainly knows how to party.

The Fantastic Four actress threw a pyjama pizza party for her husband, Cash Warren, where the guests wore onesies and played Twister.

Like most parties this one got a little wild and, after consuming too much alcohol, the America actress admits she doesn’t remember the cops arriving.

We want to party with Jessica after hearing this story.
