Being in a relationship isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. You can’t always do what you want, you have to compromise and there are even times you have to swallow your pride

So if you suddenly feel like you’re beginning to miss him, don’t.

There are a lot of good things that come with being single:

  • You don’t ever have to worry about shaving.
  • You can spend all the time in the world getting ready.
  • You have the bed all to yourself.
  • You don’t have to be forced into watching films you never liked.
  • You don’t have to laugh at jokes you never liked.
  • You don’t have to be around his friends you never liked.
  • You don’t have to worry about settling down.
  • You don’t have to answer to anyone.
  • You can stay out as late as you want to.
  • You can get off out with anyone you want to.

Being single doesn’t sound so bad now does it?

If you’re the type of person who struggles to get out of bed in the mornings, then this may come as a huge shock.

When over a billion Tweets were analysed, it was found that people are generally happiest first thing in the morning and as the day progresses, they get cranky.

One of the researchers who looked at the Twitter accounts of people from all over the world, said: “We found people are happiest around breakfast time in the morning and then it’s all downhill from there.”

They think it may have something to do with the fact that we feel refreshed after waking up so this puts us in a good mood – for the morning anyways.

However, there is a spike of happiness later on in the evening, which, believe it or not, has nothing to do with no longer being in work.

Perhaps it’s time we embrace our inner morning bird!

Blonde hair can be tricky when you are trying to get your make-up right – you don’t want to go for anything too over the top. Unfortunately, whether you are a natural or a not-so-natural blonde, some colours can make you look too harsh or washed out.

Foundation

Stick to light and natural everyday base. Choose a foundation with a golden undertone to warm up your skin

Blush

A soft pink blush is your best friend although coral colours are good for nights out

Mascara

If you are a natural blonde you will have lighter coloured eyelashes so avoid mascara that is too dark. Black mascara can be too harsh so stick to a medium or dark brown instead.

Eyeshadow

Pink or beige colours are perfect for during the day but glam it up with silver or grey for special occasions. Remember, less is more when it comes to eyeshadow.

Lipstick

A red lip looks amazing on blondes. Stick to a blue red colour if you are pale while sallow skinned ladies should go for a more orange based red. Try to avoid nude as it can make you look a little washed out.

While sitting in the Pirate Bar in Honduras four years ago, Bill Passman become hypnotised by the tattoo of an outline of the world on the back of a girl.

Jules (the girl with the tatt) was planning on putting a red dot on all the places she visited. Passman had been thinking about getting a “travel” tattoo ever since he had visited Thailand – he couldn’t pick up a shot glass from every country, no?

After finding out that the girl got her tattoo done by Mike at Tattoo Antigua in Guatemala the 54-year-old decided that he was only artist that would do a good job, so off he went.

However, rather than simply dotting the map with the places he had visited he decided that he was going to go one step further and colour in each one.

So far the map has 60 nations filled in and it is without a doubt the world’s best tattoo.

When his journey started:

The beautiful Suki Waterhouse was the recipient of this year’s ELLE Style Model of the Year Award.

We were surprised it wasn’t a certain Miss Cara Delevigne as she seems to be taking over the fashion world at the moment but we are glad Suki won.

Other winners of the evening included Emma Watson for Actress of the Year and Katy Perry for ELLE Woman of the Year.

According to Dr. Anish Sheth, who co-wrote What’s Your Poo Telling You? with Josh Richman, passing a particularly large stool can create an orgasmic-like experience.

Dr. Sheth has even given it a name, ‘Poo-phoria’ – yes you did read that right.

Apparently, “the distension of the rectum that comes with the passing of a large mass of stool causes the vagus nerve to fire. The net effect of this is a drop in your heart rate and blood pressure, which in turn decreases blood flow to the brain. When mild, the light-headedness can lead to a sense of sublime relation — the high.”

However, he warns that it can become addictive for some and overdoing it causes “’defecation syncope’, a dangerous syndrome that results in a loss of transient consciousness.”

Sheth and Richman have a new book out now called What’s My Pee Telling Me? which apparently offers more invaluable info on our health.

Yes, you can laugh now.

Miley Cyrus has been “hooking up” with Oscar-nominated actor, Jared Leto, according to US Weekly.

The two are said to be having fun together and they “love to talk about art and music and they’re both comfortable with nudity”. Well, that’s certainly no lie!

It has also been said that neither of the couple are looking for anything serious at the moment, especially following Miley’s broken engagement from The Hunger Games star, Liam Hemsworth.

Jared, who is more than twenty years older than the young singer, is up for an Oscar next month for his role as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club.

Mini the corgi only knows one thing about this sour lemon sweet – she hates it!

Confused by the sour taste and probably upset she can’t gobble it down before her owner picks it up, Mini is reduced to jumping around and barking at the offending sweet. So adorable.

With the media constantly giving us a false image of what women should look like, plenty of girls feel pressured to look as good as celebrities. They think that revealing a bit of extra cleavage and wearing overly tight clothing will get them there.

But while celebs may get away with it, we can’t. Here are some ways you can steal the spotlight without overdoing it:

Bright colors
Wearing colors that pop is a sure way to draw people’s attention. Electric blues and fuchsias are perfect.

Know your colors
Wearing colors that flatter you is another sure way to attract attention. Dress for your skin tone and eye color and watch how you’ll shine.

Accessories
With little effort, you can automatically draw attention to your face by wearing earrings or a necklace. Extra pieces like shawls, hats or sunglasses are what separate a normal outfit from an eye-catching one.

Rumours that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are divorcing have spread like wild fire, but Ellen insists that they are not true. Talking to People, the TV host says: “I love her so much it kills me.”

The couple, who have been married since 2008, became the victim of split rumours after Portia was spotted without her wedding ring. Apparently the Arrested Development star had left it at home as she doesn’t wear it while she is horse riding because it gives her a blister.

The comedian, who doesn’t like to talk about her relationship, went on to say: “The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It’s what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We’re really lucky because we know how rare it is.”

Aw, we never knew Ellen had such a sweet, romantic side to her.
