Just in case you missed Graham Norton this weekend, Miriam Margolyes made quite the stir by claiming she has no idea who either of the other guests, Dominic Cooper and Lily Allen, were.

When asked by Graham if she had seen Dominic in Mamma Mia, the actress exclaimed: “Oh that’s a dreadful film!”

She didn’t stop there and told Lily not to interrupt her and called her “bitchy” when Lily threw a girl off the red chair.

Fans of Kylie Minogue’s bum will be disappointed to hear that it’s not as pert as it used to be.

The I Can’t Get You Out of My Head singer admitted that now that she is in her forties her famous backside is not quite what is used to be.

The Aussie star said: “I don’t think I can live up to expectations. I see myself in the mirror every morning and it’s not the same as what everyone else sees. It’s a less polished version”

According to The Sun, the tiny star also revealed that she is a fan of self help books and credits them for helping make life changes decisions.

The 45-year-old admits that she loves Malcolm Gladwell’s book Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking and claims that it helped her decision to join The Voice UK and sign with Jay-Z’s record label.

Kylie said: “I met with [Roc’s co-founder] Jay Brown and I happened to be reading a book called Blink: The Power Of Thinking Without Thinking at the time, which helped me decide in the first 60 seconds that I met him, ‘You’re the one, let’s do it’.”

Our Best Dressed star of the day is the lovely Gossip Girl, Blake Lively.

Blake always looks stunning and we love the looks she chooses, there is something sort of Carrie Bradshaw about them.

This first dress is so beautiful, grey lace with a train and beaded detail. We’re swooning.

This second look is really summery and feminine. With bright colours and flowing fabrics, you can never go wrong!

We love this dress, black and classic it is the perfect length with a cheeky peek-a-boo lace insert.

This last outfit is quite daring, but that’s why we love it! Blake picks up on the lime colour in her shirt with her shoes which works so well and brings the whole thing together.

When it comes to splitting up, men really don’t have as much courage as women do – breaking news, right?

Well here’s a shocker: women, who are usually the ones to overthink and overanalyse every situation, take only six days before they finally decide that it’s over, while men can take up to a month.

Even then, they need ten more days to finally find the courage to tell their partner it’s over.

In the meantime, they spend their days in the pub with friends deciding on the most strategic way to break the news to their loved-up counterpart.

They think that a ‘careful exit strategy’ would take the pain off the breakup, even though the majority of women would rather a ‘short sharp shock’.

But, more than half of them do some serious soul-searching before deciding on what to do and one in six would even stay in an unhappy relationship if they think things will get better – nothing wrong with wishful thinking!

Whether you’re trying to gain a few kilos or shed a few pounds, your calorie-intake has a lot to do with helping you achieve your goals.

Here are some health foods with surprising amounts of calories:

Sushi
Just because they are tiny, it doesn’t mean they’re harmless. A sushi roll can have up to 500 calories – not very good for your waistline.

Dried fruit
With over 100 calories per 160g serving, your calorie-intake can go up rather quickly when you have dried fruit. If you’re trying to have less calories then opt for fresh or frozen fruit. You can eat in larger amounts at fewer calories.

Low-fat peanut butter
When manufacturers reduce the fat in peanut butter, they replace it with sugars. This means your ‘low-fat’ peanut butter had the same amount of calories as the original. You might as well stick to the regular stuff because you won’t eat as much since the original is much more filling.

Don’t drown out your stunning red hair by over doing it on the make-up. Stick to these five tips and you will have everyone pining after your ginger locks.

Eyeliner
Stay clear of harsh colours like black and instead opt for a lighter and more subtle brown eyeliner.

Eyeshadow
When it comes to eyeshadow, peaches and of course browns are your best friends. Use a plum shade for night-time antics. It is also perfect if you have green eyes as it will really make them pop. Think Emma Stone.

Embrace your freckles
If you have freckles it’s time to embrace them. Stick to a light foundation that will even out skin tone without covering up your sun kisses.

Blush
Avoid the Barbie pink colours and instead go for crimsons and deep tones; however, make sure you use it sparingly.

Mascara
Avoid using several coats – stick to a max two and go for a brown if you feel brave.
