Things got a bit zig-a-zig-ah for actress Emma Stone, who was blown away by a surprise video message from her childhood pop idol Mel B.

Emma welled up when the Spice Girl popped up for a chat on screen during an interview with 2DayFM.

The 25-year-old had previously revealed she was a mega fan of the girl group but said it was Baby Spice Emma Bunton and not Scary who she wanted to be as a youngster.

Mel B had obviously caught wind of this telling the actress, “Your punishment for that is that I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs.”

When Scary Spice tells you to do something, you obey and Emma gave an emotional performance of Spice Girl classic Wannabe.

You may not want to give much thought of problems ‘down there’ when you’re young, free and having fun.

But if you’re sexually active, you’ve probably heard the following advice many times: Use protection and make sure you get tested.

This is really important to get regularly tested, because you could have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) without knowing it.

In many cases, no signs or symptoms occur, such as chlamydia, which is the most common STI amongst Irish young people.

What type of STD you’re testing for and how often you should be screened all depends on your age, your sex life and other factors, so ask your doctor or do some research online.

Don’t assume that you’re receiving STI testing every time you have a gynaecologic exam or Pap test. If you think you need testing, request it from your doctor.

If you notice any weird feelings ‘down there,’ or any unusual discharge or discomfort when peeing, you should see your doctor straight away as these may be signs of an STI.

We wonder what Kate Winslet’s hubby would have to say about her recent declaration that Leonardo DiCaprio is the love of her life.

Despite having walked down the aisle three times before, the actress said she will always have a special place in her heart for Leo.

Kate first met the heartthrob in 1997 when they starred together as fated lovers Rose and Jack in Titanic and were reunited as husband and wife for Revolutionary Road in 2008.

The actress’ current spouse Ned Rocknroll needn’t panic just yet as there has never been any romance between Kate and Leo.

When asked who she would choose between the leading man in her new movie Divergent Theo James’ character Four or Leo’s Jack, Kate didn’t even need to think about it.

“Leo is my love of my life, how could you possibly even ask me that question!” she said. “If I said Theo over Leo, he would never let me stay the night at his house ever again. And we can’t have that because that’s where I stay.”

Entourage star Jeremy Piven was both “humbled and horrified” at a recent Q&A session where Mr. Selfridge and Sherlock were both on stage together.

The actor told Jimmy Kimmel how the session organisers forgot to say Mr. Selfridge when it came time for questions,

“They guide me to the stage in the dark and when the lights come on they say, ‘Please give your questions to Sherlock‘, and they forgot to say Mr. Selfridge. I am standing on stage while hundreds of people made their way to Benedict Cumberb****”.

However, Jeremy was quick to add his admiration for the actor and prove he was of course joking:

“By the way, he is a brilliant actor and a true gentleman and Sherlock is genius. I am a huge fan and he’ll never speak to me again.”

Lorde has told her fans to pucker up for same-sex church members who plan to picket outside her concert this Friday.

It seems members of the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) have beef with the Kiwi singer for being in favour of LGBT rights.

The outspoken singer  recently responded to a lesbian jab about her friendship with Taylor Swift. When a radio show host joked about the two being “‘Ellen’ together,” Lorde replied by asking the interviewer, “Is there something wrong with lesbians? Is that what you’re trying to say?”

In response to news of the protest, the Royals singer tweeted, “Hahaha omg just found out the westboro baptist church are going to picket my show in Kansas City,” telling concert-goers, “Everyone wear rainbow clothing to that show.”

Lorde added in another post, “Everyone try to kiss church members who are the same sex as you they will so love it.”

While the tweets have since been removed, the message to Lordes fans is already out there, which could spell big trouble at the Kansas City concert.

But in this new video, released by PETA, the fashion designer tells us the ways in which being a vegetarian can actually impact your water consumption also.

Vivienne tell us that the meat industry is not only the “worst polluter of the planet but also squanders most of our water”.

In an interview following the video Vivienne goes on to divulge her unusual bathing rituals, including reusing her husband’s bath water, saying: “I’m not used to the habit of showering. I just wash my bits and rush out in the morning. I more often than not get in the bath after Andreas.”
