We'll never turn down an excuse to see more of Henry Cavill, and even though the actor is fully suited up in his Superman costume in this Ice Bucket Challenge video, he still makes us go weak at the knees!

Henry is joined by Amy Adams, his co-star in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice film.

The actor proves he really IS a superhero by taking on a grand total of six buckets of water. We hope he made that many donations afterwards too!

Forget about only pulling that white shirt out from the back of your wardrobe for occasional job interviews – it should be one of your style staples!

A crisp white shirt is a timeless item to have in your wardrobe. Whether you splurge on the perfect tailored option or just go for a basic one, you’ll find it easy to work your button-down into countless outfit combinations.

Here are a few stylish suggestions of ways to wear your white shirt:

1. Easy elegance
Stick to classic lines by teaming your white shirt with a pair of well-fitted skinny jeans. Add heels like Olivia Palermo for an evening-ready outfit, or wear with flats for a smart-casual look that will never date:

2. Colour pop
Add a shot of bold colour to your ensemble for a more youthful and fun way to wear a shirt. Jessica Alba really stands out with these bright red trousers, but try a jewel-toned skirt or even some statement jewellery for a more subtle twist:

3. Add texture
A white shirt is such a simple choice that you can really ramp up your look by adding textured fabrics or printed designs, like Victoria Beckham:

4. Dress it up
Make your shirt the base of your look by wearing it under a dress. Don’t go for a dress that’s too structured – relaxed and floaty fabrics work well. Dree Hemingway is totally on-point with this gorgeous pastel feathered dress:

5. Maxi madness
A maxi skirt and crisp white shirt make for a super-classy look that you can wear at formal events without feeling too stuffy. Emma Watson goes all Downton Abbey in this gorgeous grey silk skirt and loose white blouse:

6. Popped collar
Rather than going all out, wear your shirt under a cozy jumper and show off just the collar for a really feminine and pretty look. Kate Mara is the picture of understated elegance here:

There has been ongoing speculation about when Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux will tie the knot, since the pair announced their engagement two years ago.

Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, Justin raised a few eyebrows at the HBO post-Emmys party last night when he showed up sporting a "big gold class ring" on his left hand, according to Us Weekly.

Onlookers immediately noticed the "gaudy" accessory, although one insider was certain that it "was clearly not a wedding band." Why so mysterious, Justin?

Rumours emerged last month that the couple had begun making plans for a wedding “right by the ocean.” Kevin Lee, the wedding planner who organised Jen’s wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000, told Radar Online that Jen was planning to have her second wedding “out of the country.”

Jen skipped last night’s event, but apparently Justin was in flying form as he "held court at a table in the centre of the party," according to one source. "It was weird that Jen didn't come, because it seemed like Justin was having a great time catching up with friends,” said the insider.

Maybe the actress was too busy recovering from her ALS Ice Bucket Challenge earlier this week. Justin really prolonged the agony by pouring the water verrry sloooowly over poor Jen’s head. What a meanie!

Today is Womens' Equality Day, which is as good a time as any to reflect on female life in this country.

There have certainly been some shifts for the better since the Eighties. Thirty years ago, in 1984, it was still necessary to present a prescription to purchase condoms. Divorce did not officially exist in the Irish constitution – that development was still 12 years away. As for women in government, just one female minister was serving in the Dáil at that time.

So yes, there are some obvious differences nowadays, but what has really changed? There are more women in positions of power in the workplace than before, but the gender pay gap is still significant, with EU Commission figures showing that Irish women are paid almost 14% less than men. As for the Irish Cabinet, there are still just four female ministers serving in the Dáil, as opposed to 11 male ministers.

Sarah Clarkin of the National Womens’ Council of Ireland, agrees there has been “some development,” for women’s equality, but there is still a lot to do. “Women do not get promoted in the workplace as often as men, and there is definitely a pattern of more women in part-time roles than men,” she said.

As for women in the home, recent CSO statistics showed that 98.2% of those looking after home or family full-time were women. That figure shows a staggering disproportion in the roles of women and men in Irish society, with women still regarded as the main caregivers.

Another huge issue for women in Ireland – one that has not really moved on in any way since the early Nineties when the X case took place – is the right to an abortion. Abortion rights in this country have recently come to the forefront again, with huge controversy surrounding the news that a young woman who became pregnant through rape was denied the right to an abortion under Irish law although she said she was suicidal. The woman then gave birth via C-section.

Thousands – both pro-life and pro-choice – took to the streets of Ireland last week, demanding that the Dáil make its views on abortion clearer. Speaking about the issue, Rachel Doyle of NWCI said “Once again, Ireland is hitting the headlines for its restrictive abortion laws and a vulnerable woman has been caused immeasurable suffering.”

While Irish women in 2014 are certainly on the road to equality and better provision of rights, the fight is not over. We still need feminism in this country. If anything, we need it now more than ever.

Miley Cyrus made headlines earlier this week when she brought a homeless man as her date to the VMAs.

Jesse Helt made an emotional speech on stage at the awards about the struggles faced by homeless youths in the Hollywood area, as Miley looked on. However Jesse might not have been the best ambassador for Miley to choose, as it turns out he is actually currently wanted by police in his home state of Oregon. A warrant was issued back in 2011 for parole violation, and police are now aware of Jesse's whereabouts following his TV appearance. Oops.

The 22-year-old was arrested back in 2010 for a break-in, but the charge has since been lowered to criminal trespassing. Speaking to The Sun, Judicial Services Specialist Jon Troike said that Jesse "still has an outstanding warrant. If he's contacted by the police in Oregon he would be arrested."

Jesse landed in Salem, Oregon last night. Miley footed the $360 (€273) bill for his flight, so that he could see his mother for the first time in three years.

Miley's date was suited and booted on Sunday night at the VMAs, but his mug shot shows a different picture:

Jesse spoke about his troubled past during his speech, saying "I am accepting this award on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving and lost and scared for their lives. I know, because I am one of those people… Though I may have been invisible to you on the streets I have a lot of the same dreams that brought many of you here tonight."

So previously we looked at the best types of sex you will have in your lifetime

Unfortunately, it won't all be amazing, whether you have one partner or many in your life, bad sex will be encountered.

1. Drunk Sex

You think it was great at the time until you wake up, unsatisfied and with a note slipped under the door asking you to quietly shut the f*** up.

2. First Time Sex

No, we don't mean first time sex with your new beau, we mean first time sex ever. Nightmare.

3. Quiet, Awkward Sex

In films there’s loud breathing, panting, Barry White and a thunder storm. In your bed there’s the sound of squeaking flesh and a silence so dense you could swim through it. You’re actually pretty sure that you can hear your next door neighbour's cat killing its next prey. There goes a fire alarm in the next street. Oh and their knee just clicked. It’s actually so damn awkward that you’re secretly kind of hoping someone's phone rings, if only to break the silence.

4. Sex With No Benefits

All give and no receive makes us unhappy women. Not to mention frustrated.

5. Sympathy Sex

Of course none of us have ever slept with someone purely out of sympathy. Of course not, that’d be a totally terrible reason for sleeping with someone, after all. Whether they had a bad day in work, discovered that they had insufficient funds or failed to get into their favourite jeans, sometimes the only way to ensure that they’re feeling better, is to have sex with them. It's a sacrifice, like a white lie of sorts. "Of course I want to shimmy in my sexy underwear instead of getting into my dressing gown and watching True Detective while eating Frosties from the box."

Apparently Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to team up with Quentin Tarantino for his latest film The Hateful Eight.

The first trailer for the film was leaked last night (but has since been removed) and there seemed to be only one woman in the ‘Hateful Eight’, who goes by the name of Daisy Domergue – and there are rumours that this will be Jennifer’s role.

As the film hasn’t gone into production yet, the trailer didn’t actually show any of the cast. Instead it just showed a snowy landscape with text about strangers being stranded and the tagline: “They soon discovered they shared a deadly connection”.

Ooo, sounds like a good old fashioned Tarantino film! We bet J-Law would be amazing in one of his films – she’s definitely got the attitude down!

Her reps are trying to squash the rumours – but until we are sitting in the cinema and Jennifer doesn’t appear on screen, we’re choosing not to believe them!

It has been announced that Sarah Hyland has split from her boyfriend of five years, Matt Prokop.

Her rep confirmed the news after sources told US Weekly it was all of between the two: “They decided they would be better off as friends.”

The news comes only a day after Sarah walked the Emmy’s red carpet alone.

Sarah and Matt met in 2008 and later went on to star together in high-school rom-com Geek Charming in 2011.

It is not known who will get custody of the couple’s dog Barkley, who often features in Sarah’s Instagram photos.

We're sure her Modern Family co-stars are keeping her smiling during her hard break-up – why can't it ever be easy?

Wow! Pamela Anderson looks absolutely incredible in a recent shoot for NO TOFU magazine.

The actress is featured in the magazine’s spread wearing a stunning collection of vintage-inspired clothes and looking very demure.

Pam is seen looking very pretty, sporting a blonde bob with her blue eyes highlighted by massive eyelashes that FYI we are very jealous of.

Featuring clothes by the likes of Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and Dolce and Gabbana, this is definitely one way we have never seen Pam before – and we LOVE it!

Could this be the beginning of a high-fashion makeover for Pam?

The Baywatch actress also spoke to the magazine about her sons, and how her life has affected them: “I acted out, self-medicated, but I got through it. I was desperate to find love again, and was convinced a few times that I could salvage a family … my boys grew up around a colourful crowd.”

Pamela’s split from her husband, Rik Salmon, was announced during the summer, though the two have since been seen kissing and cuddling in public, sparking rumours of a reconciliation.

She also hit headlines in the past few weeks following her attack against the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, writing on Facebook: “Sorry – I can’t bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge … I thought instead I’d challenge ALS to stop Animal testing.”

There was a tense scene in Jervis St. in Dublin this morning after a schoolgirl got caught between the Luas and the pavement.

Passers-by helped to move the Luas off the girl, though it is not clear if they managed to or if help later came.

The schoolgirl was then brought to the Mater Hospital where she is thought to have minor injuries.

The incredible footage shows how many commuters tried to help move the tram to free the girl, and thankfully all ended well.

It wasn't too long ago something similar happened in Australia!
