It's been a rocky few weeks for Made In Chelsea couple Tiffany Watson and Sam Thompson, but things really came to a head in last night's episode of the show.

The drama started for the couple last month when Sam admitted he had shared a bed with his MIC co-star Fran Newman-Young after a party, although he insisted nothing happened. Tiffany, who joined the show at the beginning of this series, finally agreed to take him back, but last night another scandal emerged.

Tiffany's friend Binky was the one to break the news that Sam had cheated again, and that this time there was proof. "At your birthday I think you guys went your separate ways… Lonan told me he 100% saw Sam with another girl. Full on kissing," she told a devastated Tiffany.

Sam initially claimed the whole thing was a lie, but he later changed his story and admitted to pal Josh Shepherd that he had indeed kissed someone else.

The cheating was made all the more painful for Tiffany by the fact that her and Sam had recently begun to discuss plans for the future. "The other day he was like 'I can see us being together for years'. Why say that then do this?" she told a friend.

Despite love rat Sam's pleas for a second (well, third) chance, Tiffany unceremoniously dumped him at the end of the episode.

"I don’t want to hear you’re sorry," she told him. "You're only upset because you got caught. I'm glad it happened now because now I know what type of person you are and I don't have to associate with people like you."

Sam took to Twitter to express his regret, but we reckon it's too little too late:

Hopefully Tiffany sticks to her guns!

It's been a long week for X Factor judge Mel B, and it seems things are only getting worse after a series of dramatic events with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

The singer was admitted to hospital on Thursday of last week, with a mystery illness that caused her to miss Saturday night's X Factor semi-final. On her return to the show the following evening, viewers expressed concern about what appeared to be visible scratches and bruises on Mel's arms and face, and the fact that she was not wearing her wedding ring.

Stephen quickly took to Twitter yesterday to deny he had anything to do with Mel's illness or apparent injuries – but it seems the seven-year marriage is not as solid as it was once was. Mel did not return to the couple's rented London home after being discharged from hospital over the weekend, and she has reportedly opened up to friends about the rocky relationship.

"The marriage really is at breaking point and hanging by a thread. Mel is incredibly fragile and in a bad place," a friend said. "At the moment it’s not looking good at all… But Mel and Stephen are so unpredictable they could just as easily survive this," added the insider.

Although Mel has remained quiet on social media about her relationship issues, she did address them in a recent magazine interview. The singer appears on the cover of the current issue of Grazia, but she reportedly turned up late to the photo shoot due to a row with Stephen. "I walked in pi**ed off because I had a big row with my husband about stupid stuff. Sometimes he pi**es me off like no other, but he gets me," she told the magazine.

Despite their apparent marriage troubles, in the past Mel has always seemed very positive about her relationship with Stephen, describing him as her "rock" and an "amazing man" in a recent interview with The Guardian.

We hope Mel's doing okay.

Most of the time, relationships and excess alcohol consumption do not go hand-in-hand. If you’ve ever had to sit through a blazing, gin-fuelled row between your friend and her boyfriend you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.

So, when the time for The 12 Pubs of Christmas rolls around, the idea that a row between yourself and your own boyfriend somewhere between the 1st and 12th pub certainly isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.

Someone will have seven G&T’s too many (you) and someone else will think that spilling a pint on your new bag isn’t a cause for tears (him), all of which lead to a furious, face-melting row under the Christmas lights, in front of the pub and beside the other rowing couple.

Here are the 12 stages of 12 pubs with your beloved.

Pub 1: Nerves
Remember what happened last year when his Guinness met your new jeans in the 1st pub and his mate tried to score your mate? Maybe this isn’t such a good idea.

Pub 2: Concern
Dear God, maybe this really is the biggest mistake of all time considering how YOU get after 5 wines and how HE gets when his Christmas jumper becomes too scratchy. Lord, he's itching already.

Pub 3: Excitement
No! We’ve all learned from last year. His mate said he’d keep his hands to himself, you’ve promised not to cry and your boyfriend’s sworn that Captain Morgan’s won’t pass his lips this year.

Pub 4: Joy
You’ve hit pub #4 and it couldn’t be going better! Festive cheer galore! Would you look at his flushed cheeks, I want to kiss them off!

Pub 5: Drunkeness
You've made it to pub #5 and everyone’s getting into the spirit a little too enthusiastically. You’ve seen him neck a Captains on the sly after he promised not to and you’ve already had a cry in the toilets with your bestie who’s home from Oz.

Pub 6: Further inebriation
You're halfway there and his mate is already making a move on your mate, but it’s not the same one as last year! Now, that’s just rude.

Pub 7: Complete intoxication
It's the 7th pub and the phrase ‘Get a room’ has been thrown at you and your other half for the first time in your lives. What! Those bright red cheeks are just too sexy, dammit.

Pub 8: Frustration
You’ve hit pub #8 and you’ve already been heard trying to order a triple wine after yourself and himself had a furious, whispered ‘discussion’ in the corner of the pub because he forgot to clink your glass while saying ‘Cheers’.

Pub 9: Despair
This is where it truly starts to go downhill. You can’t find him in a sea of Christmas jumpers and he can’t find you in a sea of swaying girls wearing Christmas tree earrings. You’re never going to make it out of here alive.

Pub 10: Anger
He PROMISED to wait for you outside every pub if you didn’t leave together and you PROMISED not to leave via the fire escape. You’ve both failed on each count.

Pub 11: Elation
You’ve found him. He’s found you. You’re with all your friends, you’re celebrating the festive season and who cares that one of you has already puked? Isn’t this what Christmas is all about?

Pub 12: Relief
You’ve done it! You’ve made it to pub #12 and you’re still in a relationship. You think…

Kim Kardashian's toddler daughter North West is no stranger to the limelight, but she was left out of the action yesterday when her mum cropped her out of a picture before sharing it online.

The reality star was criticised for posting a mum-and-daughter picture featuring only, well… mum. Her followers were quick to notice that Kim had chosen to include a blank black wall in her photo rather than the rest of North's face. Awkward.

Now though, Kim has addressed the controversy, saying she was totally in the right to crop little North out of the snap.

The 33-year-old took to Twitter yesterday to say that the reason she'd chosen to only include herself in the picture was because North's eyes were closed, but Kim still loved her own pose.

"Wait, is this really news that I posted a selfie and cropped my daughter out? LOL," she wrote. "Her eyes were closed and I was feeling my look! Can I live?!?!"

We've all been there, to be fair, but we're still not sure that's a legitimate reason to crop an adorable toddler like North out of a picture!

At least the little cutie did get to show off her cool outfit in a couple of Kim's other snaps from the same outing – we love this one of North with her cousins Mason and Penelope and pal Zeplin Black:

What a crew!

Telling someone that you’re really not into Christmas movies is almost like admitting that chocolate or pizza just isn’t your bag. It can be, in other words, completely and utterly shocking.

But fear not, we have a list of reasons why it’s completely OK to dislike festive flicks.

The next time you’re faced with a sea of gobsmacked expressions because you’ve never watched Elf or seen Miracle on 34th Street, just reel out the following reasons for your questionable attitude and watch people slowly come around to your way of thinking.

1. Perfect family vs. your family

Who wants to endure two hours of some perfect family enjoying the holiday season when your own family struggle to make it through Christmas breakfast without a scuffle?

2. Movie weather vs. real weather

Why must we watch that same perfect family enjoy classic Christmas activities like sleighing and snowball fighting when our dad just skulled himself on the icy back steps and crashed head first into the dog’s kennel?

3. Film fights vs. real fights

Who needs to be duped into thinking that Christmas fights within the family can be rectified with a little comedy and a lot of good cheer when really, we all know that there was NO coming back from our family fight on Christmas Day 2005. We'd rather not talk about it, thanks.

4. Movie soundtrack vs. your soundtrack

Who needs to see a neighbourhood who gets to experience Christmas carols, church bells and neighbourly well wishes when all WE get is a dodgy Christmas number one, a non-stop burglar alarm and the annual screaming match in the Queen Vic.

5. Their presents vs. your presents.

How is it fair that they get perfectly wrapped gifts sitting under an enormous Christmas tree, and all WE get is a voucher given to us by a hungover and disgruntled sibling who’d rather keep it for themselves?

If anyone needs us, we'll be watching Hostel.

It's unusual to hear of former Friends star, Jennifer Aniston, being anything but good humoured, ridiculously funny and up-for-laugh, right?

Well, it looks like the Horrible Bosses star can let her guard down from time to time.

Revealing what she really thinks of the media scrutiny she’s been subjected to over the course of her career, the much-loved actress didn't hold back in a recent magazine interview.

Speaking to Allure, the 45-year-old star opened up about the hurt she’s felt by press reports and the pain certain rumours caused her, saying: “The accusation that I’ve put my career before the want, the desire to be a mother. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. I don't think it's fair."

Determined to support women who haven't had children by biological means, she says; "You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn't mean you aren't mothering —dogs, friends, friends' children."

Deciding to delve further into the subject, the actress who is engaged to marry fellow actor Justin Theroux said; “There's all sorts of reasons why children aren't in people's lives, and no one has the right to assume. It’s quite rude, insulting and ignorant."

Refusing to hide her upset over her treatment in the press, the actress said: “Even saying it gets me a little tight in my throat.”

We think Jen has done a fantastic job of choosing her own path and we hope she continues to do so!

Former Eastenders star Daniella Westbrook is no stranger to drama. The 41-year-old, almost as famous for her cocaine addiction as her acting career, last week took to the famous This Morning sofa to open up about her most recent struggles.

Having suffered a drug relapse, split from her partner Tom Richards and learned that she had miscarried, the normally vivacious star looked and sounded completely distraught while appearing on the famous morning chat show.

Revealing that herself and her children were now living in sheltered accommodation, it certainly looked like the troubled star could do with a kind word or the support of a good friend.

Luckily Sid Owen, who played Ricky Butcher and starred opposite Daniella on and off for twenty years on the hit BBC soap, saw her distress and reached out to the struggling mum-of-two earlier today and it looks like it’s made the world of difference!

Taking to Twitter to express her gratitude, the grateful actress said: “@sidowen5 hearing your voice cheered me up no end x old friends make the best friends x”

Hopefully, the support of her former co-star will help to lift Daniella’s spirits at this hugely difficult time in her life.

Being in a relationship can be just peachy – you’re with someone you love, admire, and can just about put up with – yay!

If there is one thing that can be next to impossible in a relationship however, it’s making a decision –about ANYTHING! Where to eat, what to see in the cinema, where you should go on holiday, it can take hours.

There have been instances where couples have actually left the video store with no DVD at all because they just couldn’t cope.

Here are the emotional stages of decision making in a relationship:

Excitement
You can’t wait to get down to deciding where you’re both going to eat, mmm… so much food to choose

Frustration
Why can’t he just pick? You made your choice, why is he taking so long? He obviously doesn’t like your idea, you should change it…

Boredom
Your stomach is rumbling and he’s STILL on Trip Advisor…come on!

Anger
Of all the places he could have picked, he chose THERE?! No. Absolutely not. Back to square one.

Indifference
You actually don’t care anymore. Let’s just go to the crappy place you wanted to. Whatever.

There are two outcomes to this decision process:

Relief
You FINALLY make a decision and it’s the best feeling ever. And it only took four hours. That’s a new record.

Tantrum
You march into the kitchen, take out waffles, fish fingers and whatever else you can find in the freezer, cook them (for yourself only) and eat them. That will teach him next time, now won’t it?

*The feeling that comes after this is sadness, because once the hunger subsides you feel pretty bad and he looks so hungry, bless him.

James Franco appeared on The Howard Stern Show earlier today and the 36-year-old actor didn’t hold back when discussing the relationship he has with 29-year-old singer Lana Del Rey.

Telling listeners that the pair hang out in her apartment a lot and take scenic trips together raised a few eyebrows in the studio and there was no way Howard was going to let those revelations slide.

When pressed by the shock jock as to whether the pair have become intimate, the Spring Breakers star said he would: “have sex with her music.” Er, right.

Eager to clarify his apparent obsession with the singer, James, who has posted numerous photos of her on his Instagram account, said: “There’s a weird thing with creative types. Sometimes I love a person’s work. But all this whatever sexual attraction is for the person in the work.”

On the show to promote his new film, The Interview, James insisted that despite wanting to have sex with her work, the relationship between the pair is purely platonic, saying: “Our dynamic is that we’re just kind of friends and get along really well.”

Hmmm, we’re not exactly convinced.

We all know that one person who can whip up a delicious dessert at the drop of a hat. They're probably the same person who gives you an impeccably crafted Christmas card every year and who casually knits beautiful scarves just for the craic.

If, like us, you can only ever dream of being that person, then you need this fruit and nut chocolate bark recipe in your life. It's the ultimate "looks fancy but took zero effort" baking hack, and makes such a simple and thoughtful Christmas gift too.

This recipe is SO versatile – you can add any toppings you fancy but for this version we've gone with dried cranberries and chopped pistachios. For more colour you could add apricots, walnuts, almonds or even crushed pieces of candy cane – anything your heart desires!

This recipe calls for dark chocolate but if you want a sweeter version, feel free to use milk chocolate instead.

Cranberry, Pistachio and Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bark

Makes 10 large pieces

Ingredients:

  • 230g good quality (70%) dark chocolate
  • Handful of dried cranberries
  • Handful of shelled unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Method

  1. Line a standard baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Break the chocolate into squares and place in a heat-safe glass bowl.
  3. Fill a small saucepan around one-third with water and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Place the glass bowl over the saucepan, ensuring no water touches any part of the bowl.
  5. Gently stir the chocolate until it has melted.
  6. Once melted and smooth, pour the chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread out into a long rectangular shape with a spatula or palette knife.
  7. Sprinkle cranberries, pistachios and sea salt onto the chocolate, ensuring enough of the fruit and nuts are touching the chocolate so that they do not fall off later.
  8. Chill in the fridge for around 1 hour.
  9. Peel off parchment paper and break or chop into large pieces.
