The merry-go-round of reality tv couples continues.

The latest pair to hook up is Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson, of Love Island and Made in Chelsea fame.

They have been doing the 2019 version of flirting – commenting on each other's Instagram pictures.

But then they were pictured holding hands in London and now their reps have confirmed that they are in fact, dating.

The pair furled speculation they were dating after they pictured together in a social media post on May 26

While Sam might be a bit of an eejit, he's a harmless one and we're delighted for Zara after being messed around by Adam Collard.

It seems things are going from strength to strength for the couple as Zara commented ''“I [love] U'' under a shirtless snap of Sam.

The MIC star was previously in a long-term relationship with co-star Tiffany Watson and he has since said it ended because he was ''immature.''

Zara was rumoured to be dating singer Olly Murs, but she strongly denies this.

The 22-year-old told The Sun, ''He’s a lot older than me. I feel really annoyed now because it’s awkward.I sing and play the piano and he invited me to watch The Voice to see how it works as I want to get into all of that. He was lovely to me and that’s all I can say.”

We think they look kinda good together – crack on, we say.

Love Island bosses have apparently decided to not pay an on-air tribute to reality star Mike Thalassitis at the beginning of season five.

The former contestant, who took part on the 2017 series alongside Chris Hughes, Kem Cetinay and Olivia Attwood, was found dead in the woods near North London in March.

It is believed that the 26-year-old tragically took his own life after his experience with mental health issues. The inquest into his death is scheduled for this month, so more information is incoming.

The Love Island producers have decided to honour Mike in a tribute on ITV’s on-demand service, which plays the 2017 series and will soon be available as a box-set.

An insider told The Sun: "It felt more appropriate to do it there." It was recently claimed that contestants will have to pass STI tests and mental health screenings to gain acceptance to the new series following Mike's death.

“Bosses want stars to be safe mentally and physically. Their biggest nightmare would be someone contracting an STI, so potential contestants must have several rounds of medical tests," the source continued.

"Advance sessions with counsellors and psychologists have been ramped up to ensure that everyone can handle the fame. They are prepared to cut potentially strong personalities from the line-up if there is any hint of mental instability."

The hugely popular TV dating show returns the first weekend of June with a brand new crop of hopefuls seeking love and fame.

The suicide of 2016 contestant Sophie Gradon last year has led to a major shake-up for the 2019 series, with safeguards to look after contestants being introduced.

Participants will now be given social media training and financial management advice as well.

The creative director of ITV Studios wrote in a statement on the new initiatives: “When something so awful happens we naturally enter a period of soul searching and ask whether anything could have been done."

“This review has led us to extend our support processes to offer therapy to all Islanders and not only those that reach out to us," he continued. Social media, mental health and reality tv appear to go hand-in-hand.

Richard Cowles insisted Mike's death had nothing to do with the show, but improvements had to be made: "The key focus will be for us to no longer be reliant on the Islanders asking us for support but for us to proactively check in with them on a regular basis.”

Dame Carolyn McCall,  ITV’s chief executive, insisted it would be ‘extremely tenuous’ to link the show to his passing; "I don’t think anybody has made a direct link between what happened to Mike and ‘Love Island’ and that is very important to say."

Made In Chelsea stars Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey have announced their engagement. The lovebirds revealed the big news to OK! Magazine.

Louise showed off her beautiful engagement ring as she posed alongside her new fiance.

Ryan popped the question during their trip to LA. The fitness fanatics were on a hike when the personal trainer got down on one knee.

It’s safe to say Louise was stunned by the surprise proposal: “I cried solidly for three days.”

“I had to catch my breath because I thought I was going to faint,” she added.

Louise may have been shocked by the romantic gesture, but the duo admitted they’ve always planned on getting married: “Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time,” she shared.

28-year-old Ryan proposed to Louise on his birthday. The reality stars were taking a break from their hike when he asked Louise to marry him.

“I said something like: ‘I’ve had the best birthday ever, but there’s one more birthday wish that I’d like. Will you marry me?’’ he told the publication.

The groom-to-be revealed he had been planning the proposal for four months: “’I've been on a secret mission for so long with this ring hidden in my backpack for weeks. Every time we were going through airport security I weed myself.”

We are thrilled for Ryan and Louise.

No matter how many followers you might amass or how many likes you might get, we all know we're only one false move away from having it ripped out of us by a sarky sibling on Instagram.

Whether it's slagging our tribute to the best coffee in Ireland, mocking our 'doors of Dublin' collage or calling us out on our questionable poses, Instagram and siblings rarely mix… as Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson was reminded yesterday.

Family day out for the grandmothers 80th. @louise.thompson

Only mad to take the p*ss out of his sister, Sam Thompson decided to recreate one of her looks, and Instagram can't get enough.

Sharing a split screen of himself and his sibling rocking the same emsemble, Sam wrote: "After the past months barrage of @louise.thompson instagrams…I think it's time I took some serious piss!"

"So here we go! Gliding into 2017 wearing our Lacey #axparis dresses," he added.

The post, which has clocked up almost 40,000 likes in less than 24 hours, won't have done much for Louise's rep, with users only dying to see more of Sam's splitscreen shots.

"Hahahahaha that's brilliant," wrote one while another added: "Haha haha oh my days! This is brilliant!"

Alerting Instagram to Sam's carry-on on Snapchat, one social media user wrote: "He's so funny. lol u should see his Snapchat he's always slagging Louise." (sic)

Soz Louise, but LOL.

It's been a rocky few weeks for Made In Chelsea couple Tiffany Watson and Sam Thompson, but things really came to a head in last night's episode of the show.

The drama started for the couple last month when Sam admitted he had shared a bed with his MIC co-star Fran Newman-Young after a party, although he insisted nothing happened. Tiffany, who joined the show at the beginning of this series, finally agreed to take him back, but last night another scandal emerged.

Tiffany's friend Binky was the one to break the news that Sam had cheated again, and that this time there was proof. "At your birthday I think you guys went your separate ways… Lonan told me he 100% saw Sam with another girl. Full on kissing," she told a devastated Tiffany.

Sam initially claimed the whole thing was a lie, but he later changed his story and admitted to pal Josh Shepherd that he had indeed kissed someone else.

The cheating was made all the more painful for Tiffany by the fact that her and Sam had recently begun to discuss plans for the future. "The other day he was like 'I can see us being together for years'. Why say that then do this?" she told a friend.

Despite love rat Sam's pleas for a second (well, third) chance, Tiffany unceremoniously dumped him at the end of the episode.

"I don’t want to hear you’re sorry," she told him. "You're only upset because you got caught. I'm glad it happened now because now I know what type of person you are and I don't have to associate with people like you."

Sam took to Twitter to express his regret, but we reckon it's too little too late:

Hopefully Tiffany sticks to her guns!
