Rozanna Purcell’s new video campaign for Newbridge Silverware has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland (ASA) who said the video was "exploitative of sexuality".

The video, which was aimed to attract a younger generation to the Irish brand, was styled by Irish stylist, Courtney Smith.

Courtney took to her Instagram page to voice her disgust at the decision to ban the advert: “I’m shocked that at this day in age Ireland can still be so backwards. This incredible shoot I did for a new younger Newbridge collection called EShe was in the press today after being complained about to the ASA for being too overtly sexy! The shoot was actually inspired by Cuban dancers from the 1930s and 40s… It is meant to be sensual and evocative. The jewellery is still the main focus and I think it’s incredibly beautiful and can’t imagine how it would make people feel uncomfortable.”

Well it’s certainly not Amy Huberman setting a table but we think it looks gorgeous; Rozanna is stunning as always and we NEED that necklace!

When you make a drastic change to your hair it can take some getting used to, and never is this truer than when you get a shorter haircut.

There always comes a point, after the brief honeymoon period, when you regret your choice and remember how easy you had it before. To think, there was a time when you didn't wake up looking like you'd been blasted with a wind machine for two hours straight.

Don't panic though, in time you'll grow to love your new chopped 'do… Here are some easy styles to help you along!

1. The low bun
This is a really sleek look that's elegant and deceptively simple. Comb your hair and make a side parting. Gather all the hair at the back, towards the nape of your neck, and tie and a tight bun. Leave the wispy strands for a softer look, or pin them in. A classic look that's perfect for a formal event!

2. The twisted bun
Another great option if you want to look super-fancy without trying! Brush to remove knots, and gather your hair at the back. Twist the hair from the bottom, rolling it to about half way up your head. Pin the twisted hair at the back of your head. A brooch or hairpiece would look stunning with this style!

3. The messy bob
Dianna Agron has this subtly messy look down to a T. Can we have your hair please, Dianna? If you want to achieve this style at home, start by applying texturising paste to your hair when it's just been towel-dried. Then blowdry – if your hair is naturally straight don't use a brush when drying. When dry, straighten in 2-inch segments, flipping the hair out at the end. If you have a fringe, sweep it to the side.

4. The faux updo
Very Imedla May! This look is an easy way to add volume to short hair. Start with dry hair and spray some dry shampoo for grip and volume. Tease you hair at the crown, smooth it over with a comb and pin it at the back of your head, ensuring there's lots of volume. Then pin the sides of your hair back so they blend with the back. PIn any extra stands too so there's no hair falling onto your neck. You can leave this look as it is, or add a silk scarf like this lady for extra sass!

By now, selfies are pretty much the glue that holds the internet together. No Facebook or Instagram feed is complete without a pouty close-up picture or twenty. How will anyone know how cool your outfit was if you don't nip into the bathrooms at work to take a cheeky mirror selfie?

Kim Kardhashian has even cashed in on the selfie obsession, with plans to release a book containing a whopper 352 pictures… of herself.

The problem with selfies though, it that they are kind of… well… lonely. Sure, your picture might get tons of likes, but is sitting in your room snapping picture after picture of yourself really the best use of your time?

A new campaign hopes to encourage people to involve others in their selfies, inspiring social media users to "get out there, be social, and take a #selfwe." The organisers, Colin and Sam, describe "selfwe" as "a word that embodies friendship and inclusion… a word that is easy to understand. A word that doesn’t totally suck."

A cute idea, but could it take off? Well, the guys are aiming for 10,000 selfwes in total before moving "into the next phase of our experiment"… very mysterious! They already have a pretty packed Instagram feed full of submissions from followers.

There's the obligatory holiday selfwe…

This amazing rollercoaster selfwe…

The "howiya Guard" selfwe…

And of course, the one that started it all!

We love this idea! Time to get snapping!

It’s official – Joey  Essex and Sam Faiers are back together once again.

The on-off couple were pictured for the first time since their rumoured break-up while on holiday in Marbella only a few weeks ago.

Both Joey and Sam remained unusually quiet amidst the rumours that their relationship was over – but these photos seem to prove they are well and truly loves up once again.

Sam even shared a photo with her followers of her and her boyfriend looking very dapper on her Instagram account recently – though we can’t say we’re mad about Joey’s new man bun…

Kirsten Dunst stars in a great new video about how the selfie culture affects a familiar face.

The video shows two girls who, without even asking, take photos with her and then don’t even talk to her.

Kirsten tells the girls “you can ask me a question” but as they already have their selfie – all they want her to do is tag them.

As the girls drive away they remember all of the great movies Kirsten has been in – but didn’t bother to talk to her about.

Has the selfie culture gone so out of control that we don’t even treat celebrities like real people anymore?

This certainly makes it seem that way, doesn’t it?

The whole way there you’re trying to procrastinate and if there’s anything you can remember you have to do instead – you will do it. No luck so far and you arrive at your destination.

4. Arrival
Get out your gym membership card and off you go. You are starting to feel happy you have made this decision. You get to the changing room and scope out the room. This locker looks good – ah there is something in it. This one – oh it’s taken. That one – ah yes finally. You put a lock on it because no one will be taking your new iPhone. iPod out, water filled, “LET’S DO THIS!”

Staying positive is sometimes easier said than done, but this American football player could definitely teach us a thing or two!

High school student Apollos Hestler was interviewed after his team, the East View Patriots, won their game by just one point. "Well, at first we started slow, we started real slow," he admits. "And you know, that's all right, that's okay, because sometimes in life, you're gonna start slow. That's okay." Any chance we could employ you as a life coach, Apollos?

He also gives some advice for getting through difficult times: "It's going to be all right. Just keep smiling."

We recommend bookmarking this video to listen to any time you're having a bad day!

Before you say it, Mean Girls 2 doesn’t count. As far as we’re concerned, that never even happened.

Now though a real Mean Girls sequel could be on the cards, with Lindsay Lohan promising to “harass Tina [Fey] to write it”.

Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. Tina Fey can do no wrong in our eyes so if she’s on board, then we will be camping out in front of the cinema to watch a new Mean Girls film.

Lindsay made the suggestion in a Time Out interview this week, maybe in an effort to recapture what was inarguably the peak of her career.

When asked about Mean Girls the 28-year-old actress replied, “People really love the movie: how do you top that?”

“I was with Tina Fey the other day and I said we should do another Mean Girls, like an older version where they’re all housewives and they’re all cheating. That would be really funny.”

That is SO fetch.
