Season 3 of the epic TV series The Fear is returning to RTÉ 2 on the 29th September and to celebrate they have released a hilarious prank.

Two people are left baffled (and mad too) when the guards turn up on their doorsteps and tell them their son, who has been in Mountjoy Prison, can now be put under house arrest.

Except he's not their son…

Hilarious – we don't think they'll ever answer the door again though!

It wouldn’t be fair to say that all men have these misconceptions but they’re common misconceptions all the same.

1. All women are good cooks
Contrary to popular belief, women are not born with this talent. And we don’t look like this when we do cook.

2. Women know exactly how to wash every different kind of material
Many women just tend to take care of their clothes better and so learn this knowledge along the way.

3. Women love eating salads
There's many men who like eating salads and many women who hate it.

4. All women love romantic comedies
Fact: so do guys. Stop lying.

5. A women will automatically want to be your girlfriend after you have sex
So offensive. You think you're the only one who enjoys sex? Think again, buddy!

6. Women are the Antichrist when they have their period
No, you’re just incompetent half the time and our patience runs out after around 4 weeks of it.

7. Size matters
Nope. As long as you know what your doing in every other area, the size really, really does not matter.

Ever mistakenly clicked “like” on that picture of your crush’s sister’s wedding after a round of intense Facebook stalking? Then you’ll know the pain of making a fatal social media mistake.

Social media might be advertised as a way for us to openly connect with the world around us, but we all know it’s more about showing off a heavily edited and filtered version of our lives. A brunch picture here, a “night out” status there… perfect! That’s all well and good until you blow your cover by making one of these epic fails….

1. The drunken Facebook message
This also applies to WhatsApp and even good old fashioned texting. A drunken message – be it to your crush, your boss or your ex – will cause levels of fear that you never even knew you were capable of experiencing. Hopefully it’s just a jumble of letters rather than a full-on booty call. If it’s the latter, all you can do is cringe – especially if there was no reply!

2. The accidental follow
Giant clumsy fingers, why do you forsake us so?! It’s so easy to accidentally press “follow” or “Add Friend” and yet it only ever seems to happen when it’s someone you really, really don’t want any contact with. You have two choices – remove the request and hope they’ll think the email notification was a glitch (ha!) or just accept the damage and move on.

3. The shameful Netflix “watched” list on Facebook
This is totally grand if you’ve been watching Louis Theroux documentaries, but your "watched" list is more likely to accidentally sync to your Facebook profile when you’ve just spent four hours watching Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Cringe. The kind-hearted folks at Netflix are apparently testing out a new “privacy mode” to allow you to watch your favourite shows incognito. Bring on the guilt-free Toddlers and Tiaras marathons!

4. The moment when you find that guy you fancy on Tinder
This brings about all levels of stress. Is he showing up because he’s already seen you and swiped to let you know he's game? Or has he not seen you yet? WHICH ONE? In this situation, not much can be lost by swiping right – if he doesn’t return the favour, it’s his loss. On the other hand, if he does…

5. The autocorrect carnage
It all happened so fast. One moment you were crafting a hilarious tweet, sure to earn you hundreds of wry laughs and new followers, the next you’ve posted it… only to realise that your phone has very kindly autocorrected a key word. No… that WASN’T meant to say “erect”. Delete or post a bashful “oh, silly autocorrect” tweet? The choice is a difficult one!

6. The “Seen” dilemma
Facebook’s “seen” feature on Messenger can be really handy when you’re waiting to hear back from a friend. But when someone asks you a question you rmost definitely don’t want to answer right now, it can be your worst enemy. It can also cause undue levels of stress when you’re waiting on a reply from a crush. Oh, he saw the message five hours ago? Great. GREAT.

7. The not-so-sneaky LinkedIn profile view
Unlike every other social network, LinkedIn lets you see who has viewed your profile over the last few days. This also means that your estranged primary school best pal can see if you’ve been nosing around her profile too. Oops.

The supposed real reason behind Taylor Swift and Harry Styles’ break-up has been revealed and it’s pretty sad to be honest.

As every Taylor fan will know by now, the singer invited fans over to her house for a listening session of her new album, 1989.

The singer told her fans at the event that they could share anything EXCEPT song names or lyrics – which mean all the gossip was game!

A fan who was at the session revealed that Taylor explained a bit about the break-up to them, saying: “She (Taylor) described it (Haylor) like trying to build a fire out of two twigs and everyone is yelling at the fire ‘i hate your fire’ and blowing out the sparks.””

Aww, poor Taylor – it sounds like the pressures of all the hate for her and Harry just got to be too much!

However, Taylor also added that they are really good friends which squashes all of those nasty feud rumours – yay! Although she did say it took time too which maybe means they ended on bad terms.

We bet Ed Sheeran was the one who brought them back together!

Now we’re left wondering what could have been – why did people have to hate their fire?!

Did you know that having sex at certain times of the day could benefit your wellbeing as well as your sex life? We’re not suggesting you draw up a timetable or anything (unless you really want to) but it’s certainly worth keeping these tips in mind!

Here’s our list of the best times to get steamy with your partner… take note!

1. After a heavy gym session
Blood flow around our body increases during exercise, making CERTAIN parts of the body more sensitive… so expect a killer orgasm during post-workout sex. Exercise also boosts our levels of testosterone – the sex hormone – meaning you’ll be overcome with desire. Sounds like a win-win situation!

2. In the mornings
Okay, it might mean setting the alarm clock for a little earlier (or missing the bus), but morning sex is totally worth it! Your energy is higher when you wake up, meaning you’ll both be on top form. All those endorphins mean you’ll be in a great mood for the rest of the day too.

3. After a stressful day
Affection of any kind, even a hug, can really improve your mood. That, combined with the increase in oxytocin after sex, will leave you feeling happy and relaxed. Great sex is also the perfect way to relieve tension, so get to it!

4. When you’re feeling run down
We agree that you’re hardly feeling at your sexual peak when you’re harbouring a cold, but research shows that sex can be a great immune booster. Worth a try, and it’s way more fun than taking Vitamin C supplements…

5. When you’ve got the jitters
If you’re feeling nervous before a big meeting in work or a stressful college exam, get rid of those butterflies with some great sex. Having fun in the bedroom can calm nerves and reduce stress levels so you’ll be good to go.

6. In the middle of your menstrual cycle
On day 14 of your cycle (around a week after your period ends), your clitoris becomes engorged more easily. In layman’s terms, you’re more likely to have an amazing orgasm. Sounds good to us!

7. After an argument
Ah, the classic: make-up sex. The main reason we’re more likely to have mind-blowing sex after an argument is “arousal transfer.” When our brain is stimulated by one thing (arguing), it’s more easily stimulated by something else afterwards. Well, whatever the science behind it, it definitely works!

Quentin Tarantino and his longtime muse Uma Thurman got people talking at this year’s Cannes festival with lots of hand-holding and kisses on the red carpet.

Since then, it has been assumed that the two had finally gotten together and were a couple so we’re not too sure what Uma will make of this!

The Pulp Fiction director was pictured on the streets of New York with actress Vanessa Ferlito and the two looked very close indeed…!

The Julie and Julia actress also shared a photo of herself and Quentin on her Instagram page, writing: "Look what the cat dragged in. #NYC #QuentinTarantino."

Not only were the two kissing and cuddling but it also appears as if they were having a heated discussion – perhaps about the fact Quentin has a girlfriend?!

We hope for Uma's sake that the she and Quentin have gone their separate way before this!

Uma separated from her partner, Arpad Busson in April of this year.

The UK version of the popular chair-swivelling search for a singing sensation has announced today that there will be a new judge for the fourth series.

Replacing Kylie Minogue, who stepped down as judge at the end of the last series is chart-topper Rita Ora. The 23-year-old singer previously showed off her judging skills as a Guest Judge on the X Factor in 2012.

Rita will be joining Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson to coach and judge the singing hopefuls.

Rita announced the news on Twitter this morning, posting:

“So excited to be part of; and for my team to win The Voice this series!!”

“Let's have some fun @iamwill, @RealSirTomJones and @Rickontour!!Looking forward to the blind rounds and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!"

The fourth series starts auditioning next month and will air in January –  we can’t wait to see what Rita brings to the team!

Despite the constant rumours and unnamed sources declaring that Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence were not only dating, but madly in love and on the cusp of eloping, we had never actually seen any definitive proof.

We had no announcement from either of celebs, and not a single photo of the supposed couple together. Until now.

Through what we can only assume was some photojournalism voodoo, the Daily Mail has managed to get photos of the loved up couple together getting off a plane. So much for airport security.

The photographs show Jennifer and Chris casually comfortable with one another, chatting to the airport staff. They look so at ease in each other’s presence that although we only found out about the romance last month, it seems they’ve been together a lot longer than that.

If you’ve always wished the Brussels sprouts forced on you every Christmas dinner could taste like something else, now there is a solution.

The AromaFork patented earlier this year uses smell to combine and invest new flavour combinations, confusing your senses.

To use it you just put a drop of scented oil onto the fork, and inhale the smell while eating whatever is on your fork to create an exciting flavour combo. Apparently wasabi and chocolate is one of the best the inventor has discovered.

The AromaFork also has great potential for people with allergies. The scents are all completely allergy free, but could create the sensation of eating peanut butter for the unlucky people who’ve never been able to taste it.

Vegetarians and vegans can also get their meat fix with the animal-free ‘smoked’ scent, which makes whatever you’re eating taste like bacon.

Count us in!
