Things are going from awkward to downright nasty in the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift!

Recently, Taylor alluded to the fact that she and Katy had some issues after Katy allegedly stole some dancers from her tour – a fact that was later seen to be true.

Following this, Katy tweeted a rather telling: “Watch out for Regina George in sheep’s clothing” basically saying that Taylor was Regina George, the ultimate mean girl – eep!

Now, Katy shows no signs of backing down as it has been reported she was spotted on a potential date with none other than Taylor's ex… Harry Styles!

Though there is doubt over whether Katy would actually go out with Harry, the two do appear to be close, something that Taylor will no doubt not like much. 

Harry and Taylor ended on bad terms in January of last year so it looks like Katy is digging in right where it hurts.

Could it have been an innocent dinner, or something much more… hmm! 

When will this end, girls?! Can't we all just get on like the old days?

Taylor Swift is still struggling to get over her ill-fated relationship with Harry Styles it seems.

The singer revealed that several of the tracks on her upcoming album 1989 are about her ex, Harry. Ouch. 

The pair broke up over a year and a half ago, and Taylor told Rolling Stone that she hasn't been on a date with anyone since. "People are going to feel sorry for me when you write that," she said. "But it's true." We're not sure Harry has been quite so chaste – he's been linked to model Paige Reifler and singer Asami Zdrenka in recent months.

Taylor named a number of unreleased singles from her new album that are about the One Direction singer. All You Had to Do Was Stay is all about a guy who couldn't commit (aaw), I Wish You Would is about an ex who bought a house two blocks away from hers (we sense a pattern here), and Out of the Woods is about a painful breakup. 

The singer has previously admitted that her hit I Knew You Were Trouble was inspired by Harry too – if you had any doubt, just listen to the angst-heavy monologue at the beginning:

Taylor also admitted to Rolling Stone that she's trying to keep her love life out of the spotlight for now. "I don't like giving comedians the opportunity to make jokes about me at awards shows. I don't like it when headlines read ‘Careful, Bro, She'll Write a Song About You', because it trivializes my work," she said, adding that she feels her dating life "has become a bit of a national pastime."

Well… we hate to say it Tay… but you do write an AWFUL lot of songs about ex-boyfriends!

These college guys made a serious impression on Ms Swift when they parodied her hit single, Shake It Off.

So much so that Taylor has personally invited them to see her on tour! She tweeted: “I’m personally inviting all of these guys (and a date!) to a show on tour next year, it’s on me. Nailed it, bros!”

Oh, Taylor – did you just say “bros”?!

Taylor Swift always seems really nice to us – remember that time she gave a fan some heartfelt romantic advice on Instagram? But it looks as though being nice can still get you some enemies!

The singer revealed in a recent interview that there is one star she does not get on with in the slightest:

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'

Could it be…?!

“[Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!”

Taylor, who is it?! You can’t leave us wondering! But unfortunately, she does. The only hint she gives is that the reason they fell out was to do with business:

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it.”

Taylor wants to make it clear that her song Bad Blood from the album 1989 is about this unnamed star, and NOT an ex-boyfriend:

“I know people will make it this big girl-fight thing. But I just want people to know it's not about a guy. You don't want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that's not the case.”

Ok Taylor. That’s fine. How about we just list out a few celebrities and you can nod yes or no if it’s about them? Technically you’re not really telling if you do that! Let’s see… Ariana Grande? Miley Cyrus? Or could it be Katy Perry, who hired three of Taylor's backup dancers last year? And ALSO dated her ex John Mayer?

And let's not forget, Taylor tweeted this to Katy last year, which in the light of this recent interview, sounds VERY sarcastic:

Ooo – the claws are coming out!

Things just keep getting better and better for Taylor Swift, and we’re delighted for the star!

Not only is she due to release her fifth studio album ‘1989’ in October, but Taylor has also been invited to join The Voice USA!

The Shake it Off singer will work alongside the star-studded team – Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton – to offer support and advice to contestants in the upcoming seventh season of the NBC show.

Taylor, who performed on the fourth season of the programme, will join already announced mentors Stevie Nicks, who will work with Adam, Gavin Rossdale, who will help his wife Gwen, Little Big Town, who will work alongside Blake, and Alicia Keys, who was chosen by Pharrell to help him and his team.

Taylor said she is “delighted” with the news, and we can’t think of a better person for the job!

The next season of The Voice USA is set to hit screens on September 22nd.

Selena Gomez has finally done what we were really, really hoping she wouldn’t and gotten back together with Justin Bieber.

Just after we thought Selena and Taylor Swift could patch things up and be the best BFFs since Blair and Serena, it looks as if she has gone back to her bad boy.

Justin all but confirmed they are together again after posting a photo of them looking very cosy indeed.

But is it just another round in the on-again off-again saga that is Justin and Selena? Or could things take a turn for the more mature this time around?

Either way, just as Katy Perry did for Rihanna, somewhere Taylor Swift is wishing Selena has listened a little more closely to this: 

The news of their recent reconciliation comes not long after Selena admitted she was struggling with some issues, with many believing they were largely to do with her ex-boyfriend…

Can Justin resist the charms of the many models (and Jenner sisters) he has been linked to since he and Selena were last seen together? For her sake, we hope so!

We really did think these two would never, ever, ever get back together (sorry).

It has been rumoured today that Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer have been seeing each other again, after being spotted at the same place recently.

Taylor and John dated for three months back in 2009 but had a rather bad break-up that resulted in Taylor writing the not-so-flattering ballad, Dear John.

He did not appreciate the gesture, needless to say: “It made me feel terrible”, he said, “Because I didn’t deserve it.”

However, now it seems like all may be forgiven between the two after they were both seen exiting the Chateau Marmont last night – could they be seeing each other again?!

The sighting comes only three days after Taylor released the video for her hit song, Shake It Off, which has instantly become a hit.

The song is also said to be a diss against Taylor's exes – John included. We wonder how that went down over dinner?!

Summer’s definitely coming to a close and though we might be praying for some last-minute sunshine, it’s time to embrace autumn and the great style opportunities that come with it.

The autumn/winter catwalks this year were all about more relaxed, wearable looks. Here’s some of our favourite trends for this season…

1. Mad for plaid
Tartans have come in and out of fashion time and time again, but they were all over the catwalks for this season, most notably at Tommy Hilfiger with full-on plaid dresses in heavy wool fabrics. Chloë Moretz wore this trend a little differently, rocking a Simone Rocha top with cut-out sleeves as she headed to the Jimmy Kimmell studios earlier this month:

2. Floating on air
Floaty fairytale styles are big this season – they took centre stage at Dolce & Gabanna, Alexander McQueen and Valentino, who all showcased floor length gowns in light-as-air fabrics. Go for a skirt or dress with a higher hemline for a more user-friendly take on this trend, à la Clemence Poésy. The actress wore this Chloé dress beautifully at a recent launch for the label’s new perfume:

3. High-octane metallics
Glittering metallics are a great way to work an autumn trend into your Saturday night outfit. Marc by Marc Jacobs was all over this look, and Alexa Chung showed off one of the label’s key pieces at New York Fashion Week earlier this year:

4. Whiter than white
Forget ivory or cream, stark bleached whites are where it’s at this season – if you can manage to avoid spilling red wine all over them, that is. Helmut Lang models walked the catwalk in all-white tailored trousers, fur coats and flowing sweaters. Taylor Swift had a slightly more glamourous take on the trend though, in this black and white Jonathan Simkhai dress for her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers:

5. Eye-catching embellishments
This is one trend that you can be as safe or as far-out as you like with. Wear all-over sequins or just go for some subtle panels of beading on shoulders or sleeves. Gucci models paraded down the catwalk in embellished shift dresses this season, and Keira Knightley looked every bit the glittering goddess in this Delpozo dress at an appearance in London recently:

6. Take the plunge
Low cut necklines might not be for everyone, but they are a sure way to inject some old-school glamour into your look. Donna Karan went all out with plunging necklines this season, combined with some very high hemlines, while Diane Von Furstenburg’s looks were a little more demure. Suki Waterhouse looked stunning in this Burberry Prorsum dress at Serpentine Gallery’s summer party:

Taylor Swift’s newest single Shake It Off was released last night, and though there’s already been some controversy online, we had a great little bop around to it in the SHEmazing! offices today.

The singer showcases loads of outfits in the new vid, and it’s not the first time she’s gone costume-crazy for a new single. We thought it was high time we took a look back at some of Tay’s best outfits from videos gone by, starting with a few from her newest offering:

1. Ballet chic in Shake It Off
Taylor rocks a Black Swan-esque look for one of the first outfits in the new video – though the moves are a little sexier than what you’d expect in your standard ballet class. We love the feathered tutu and slicked-back hair.

2. Sleek monochrome in Shake It Off
This look is the most wearable one in the video, for sure. A cropped blonde bob, red lips and an all-black outfit make for a gorgeous look on Taylor. Very sexy!

3. Gymnast with added glitter in Shake It Off
The purple and white sparkly dress is not one we’d choose ourselves, but Taylor wears it well… and adds some weird ribbon-dancing moves.

4. Slogan tee in 22
We love this look. The cool tee, black shorts and heart-shaped sunnies make a great summer outfit that we’d be totally at home in ourselves. As for the megaphone, well, why not? It was her birthday party, after all.

5. Sexy sequins in 22
Well, what’s a birthday party without a night out? Taylor goes all sultry in metallic and charcoal tones at the end of the 22 vid. She adds a little bit of Taylor-ness to the outfit, though, with a pair of cute cat ears.

6. Floaty summer style in Begin Again
This beautiful lilac dress looks stunning on Taylor – we hope she took it home when filming was over. The way the wind catches the fabric makes for an amazing shot here too.

7. Alt rocker in You Belong With Me
Okay, this might not be the most stylish outfit choice for Taylor, but we’ve always loved how willing the singer is to poke fun at herself. This look brings back memories of our secondary school years… though we like to think that our hair looked slightly better, at least.

8. Platinum and pastels in Our Song
This video was one of Taylor’s earlier releases. We have major envy for that pink phone! Platinum blonde hair is an unusual choice for the singer but she pulls it off.

9. Simple stripes in Last Time
Taylor’s outfit is classy and understated for this duet video with Gary Lightbody. The black and white striped tee is complemented perfectly by those high-waisted red shorts. We’d happily wear this on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

10. Circus master in Red
In the video for Red, filmed during the tour of the same name, Taylor blows all other outfits out of the park with this INCREDIBLE circus-themed outfit. We want this for our next fancy dress party!

There is trouble for Taylor Swift today following the reveal of her brand new music video for Shake It Off.

 

Rapper with Odd Future, Earl Sweatshirt, tweeted his disapproval of the video, saying: “haven’t watched the taylor swift video and I don’t need to watch it to tell you that it’s inherently offensive and ultimately harmful … perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic as white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture … for instance, those of you who are afraid of black people but love that in 2014 it’s ok for you to be trill or twerk or say n****.”

Taylor isn’t the first star to be accused of cultural appropriation as Katy Perry recently had to speak out about her dancers dressed as mummies with big booties in her Prismatic Tour: “Those girls aren’t African-American. But it’s actually a representation of our culture wanting to be plastic, and that’s why there’s bandages and it’s mummies.”

Lily Allen was accused of similar misuse of racial stereotypes in her video for Hard Out Here.

Taylor’s new video has been a huge success following its release last night, with over 4 million views on You Tube in less than 24 hours.

Oh, Taylor, how we love you!

The ever talented songstress featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently and it was pretty hilarious.

Not only did Taylor confirm she would be performing at this year’s VMAs, she also transformed into 13-year-old Natalie for another instalment of the hilarious Ew! segment.

The Love Story singer had previously teased about her make-under, and now we finally get to see it! Trust us, it was well worth the wait!

During her appearance as Natalie, Taylor confirms she would never, ever, ever, get back with any of her exes…aww, not even Harry?! Disappointed!

Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss have taken their BFF status to a whole new level by moving in together!

Victoria’s Secret model  Karlie has moved into Taylor’s lavish Beverly Hills home and the pair are said to have been completely inseparable ever since!

After all of Taylor’s heartbreak – of which 1D star Harry Styles has a little to answer for –  she really wants her bestie nearby for moral support.

The singer was also not keen on living by herself in her massive mansion and asked Karlie to move in and keep her company. Of course, the model jumped at the chance!

Taylor wasted no time in sharing her fondness for her new housemate with her fans, posting a birthday message for the model on her Instagram account saying, ‘Happy 22nd birthday to @karliekloss, who is made out of 100% sunshine.’

Aw, sweet!
