In case anyone hasn't seen this horror, Dublin Wax Museum has created a waxwork figure of Danaerys Targaryen, Khaleesi, Breaker of Chains, Heir to the Seven Kingdoms, Mother of Dragons…etc.

It's essentially one of the most diabolical wax statues of all time, just behind the infamous Cristiano Ronaldo bust in Madeira airport.

Dublin Wax Museum presumably tried their best, but we're guessing they didn't think Emilia Clarke would actually see it.

Unfortunately for them, she did. On The Jimmy Kimmel Show, the host showed the Game of Thrones star an image of the waxwork, and she compared it to: her brother. That ain't good.

"Here's the funny thing. If anyone wants to know what my brother actually looks like, it's that. He looks like that. I mean, that's him with mascara and a wig."

"I mean, legitimately it's frightening. I was like 'that is my brother'," she said.

The actress, who is promoting her brain injury charity Same Me after revealing her battle with two aneurysms, is also doing press for season eight of GOT.

She elaborated on the last three episodes of the show, where the focus will be firmly on Cersei Lannister in King's Landing.

"Four, five, and six. They're all insane," said the the Mother of Dragons and she also advised people to find the biggest TV possible to watch the finale.

We're glad she's got a sense of humour about the wax figure, other people may have taken offence. (Ronaldo, we're looking at you)

What happens in Vegas…becomes world news in a matter of hours. Especially when it comes to celebrity weddings, right?

Just under two hours after this years Billboard Music Awards ended in Las Vegas, E! News has reported that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner tied the knot.

The Jonas Brothers singer and Game of Thrones star are now husband and wife after obtaining a marriage licence yesterday, May 1.

Diplo gave the game away officially when he began posting footage from the improptu ceremony. In the DJ's Instagram Stories, the 23-year-old, who plays Sansa on GOT, is seen walking down the aisle.

She's got the full bridal ensemble on, and this longtime couple's nuptials seems VERY different to her HBO character's traumatic Game of Thrones weddings. Thank God.

It looks like an Elvis Presley impersonator is officiating the ceremony and country music pair Dan + Shay performed their hit, Speechless.

The husband and wife are now the final Jonas Brother couple to wed, after announcing their engagement in October 2017 following a year of dating.

The couple swapped ring pops instead of wedding bands, and this may just overshadow the GOT hype for this week.

Earlier that night, Nick, Kevin and Joe banded together for an epic performance of new single Sucker, and Sophie's sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas joined each other in the front row of the MGM Grand Arena.

During an interview with Marie Claire last year, Sophie spoke excitedly about her engagement to Joe, who has been supportive of her during her mental health journey;

"But I've always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there's a sense that this is the greatest thing I'll do in my life," she continued.

"It's lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I'd find a house that I love and want to stay in forever.

"There's a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there's a drive that comes with your career."

We're guessing the pair will throw a more official bash and wedding ceremony in the near future, because the bride's BFF and bridesmaid Maisie Williams wasn't at the gathering last night.

Okay, so any Game of Thrones fanatic has begun to see Danaerys Targaryen's magical triplet dragons almost like our own beloved pets

While poor old Viserion got turned into a baddie White Walker dragon, breathing blue flames up his brother Drogon's tail throughout the Battle of Winterfell.

Nevertheless, Rhaegal and Drogon persisted, but what's happened to our wee pups since the Battle of Winterfell, AKA the Long Night, AKA the episode that broke us into a thousand pieces with nerves?

Thank God Arya Stalk really is THAT B*TCH and stabbed the Night King into a million miniscule pieces, so that means evil Viserion is toast. But who died in the battle?

it truly broke out hearts to see Dany's dragon turned to ice in season seven, when the Night King threw a spear at him. Viserion was seconds away from killing Jon Snow in the Winterfell face-off, too. Good thing Arya doesn't care for blue lives.

We're gagging to know what happened to Danaerys' other dragons, because they will most likely be highly important in the battle to dethrone Cersei Lannister.

Viserion attacked his brother Rhaegal, who Jon was busy riding, and seriously injured him. Rhaegal disappeared for the rest of the battle once Jon fell off the dragon, but he's a trooper and makes an appearance in the trailer for next week's episode.

Drogon nearly went six feet underground after Dany fell into a battalion of freshly cooked White Walkers. We were super worried for him when he seemingly became overpowered by the sheer number of them.

However, good old Drogon seems perfectly fine in the new teaser for season eightm episode four, thankfully.

His appearance is seen in the frame when Sansa gazes up at both dragons, on their way to give Cersei an absolute blast no doubt.

We can't wait to see what they do in King's Landing, and if they can dethrone the ruthless Lannister queen and her boytoy, Euron Greyjoy. We suspect Yara Greyjoy will tackle Euron, but that's another story.

In essence; Drogon and Rhaegal are good boys, and deserve many treats.

*NO SPOILERS* Don't worry lads.

After last night's Battle of Winterfell, most of us need a good, strong drink. Luckily, some of our favourite alcohol companies have released limited edition Game of Thrones spirits to celebrate the final season.

Did someone say 'cocktails'? We did. Big bag of cans with the White Walkers sounds good to us.

1. White Walker Whiskey by Johnnie Walker Scotch.

Johnny Walker is our new bestie. The veteran scotch brand and mixologist master Gabe Orta has created six special serves alongside the White Walker Whiskey.

This is exactly what we need to numb our emotional trauma of character deaths. Each of the half-a-dozen drinks is inspired by the iconic HBO series, and are easy to make at home.

'Rooting for the Night King' is an ice-cold mix of whiskey, but add coconut soda to create the 'Army of the Dead''. Targaryen fans can make a fiery blend of burne rosemary, whiskey and cinnamon syrup in the 'Dragonglass Old Fashioned.'

Price: €38 (£33)

The GOT-'Old Fashioned' features Zacapa Rum, Dram palo santo bitters, Angostura, rosemary stalk and smoked cinnamon syrup. Yum.

Make the 'Hold the Door' (SOB) with whiskey, berry soda and blackberries and raspberries as a garnish. 'Sword in the Darkness' is made with vermouth, bitter liqueur, Angostura, Pimento bitter, brandy cherries and whiskey.

Your head will be spinning in no time, get ready to forget the pain of watching this brilliant show.

2. Ommegang's 'Game of Thrones' Beer

'For the Throne', 'Winter is Here', 'Valar Dohaeris', Bend the Knee', 'Fire and Blood', 'Queen of the Seven Kingdoms', 'Mother of Dragons', King in the North' and 'Hand of the Queen' are all new flavours brought our by Ommegang to commemorate GOT.

Brewery Ommegang are a craft outpost in NYC, and first teamed up with HBO back in 2013. It has since created, brewed and released over 10 special beers to pay homage to the show and it's characters.

The collection also features imperial stour, red kriek ale, golden ale and smoked porter, and can be bought on drizly.com's website.

3. Game of Thrones Chardonnay wine

Remember all of the episodes in which Cersei Lannister drinsk deviously out of a goblet of never-ending wine?

Well, now that can be you. Picture yourself as Tyrion, always sipping his storage of vino and plotting ways to defeat evil.

8wines have released a Game of Thrones 2016 Chardonnay with bursts with tropical fruit like guava, mango and honeydew melon along with zesty lime, peach and white blossom aromas for feverish fans.

4. Cardhu Game of Thrones 'House Targaryen' gold reserve single malt scotch whiskey

Eight Scottish distilleries have collaborated with Westeros' ruling families based on their independent traits: Lagavulin paired with House Lannister and Cardhu aimed at House Targaryen.

The Night's Watch got theirs from Oban Bey Reserve, in a gorgeous blac bottle, but we love Cardhu's House Targaryen's gold reserve single malt scotch whiskey.

The fiery spirit of the fierce female leadership of Daenerys Targaryen has fuelled this whiskey on behlaf of legendary women and their unwavering perseverance. The drink involves notes of baked apple with spices, cloves, nuttiness and caramel character.

Prices: €35.80 upwards

Interestingly, the Cardhu Distillery was created by Helen Cumming and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth during the 1800s, a period when the whisky industry was basically entirely male-dominated.

We love a fierce female. You can snag the whole collection here.

One last thing; You need a KILLER glass to drink away your GOT-related sorrows in. We've found the perfect goblet to tackle that freezing cold winter.

Introducing…

5. The Weirwood Tree Goblet by EMP.

Price; €39.99

We couldn't let you drink such outstanding alcohol in a regular glass, now could we? A true fan appreciates the metal, stainless steel version of the mysterious tree.

The tree is featured in the godswood of Winterfell, and has carved faces in it's bark. It's rumoured to be key in the final series, mainly because of Bran Stark.

Drink responsibly, lads, but enjoy these gorgeous Game of Thrones collaborations this season.

The broadcaster unveiled which of our token loved ones wil be popping up on April 14, as Westeros comes together (let us pray) to fight The Night King.

They may have to sit tight, as Vladimir Furdik, AKA The Night King and leader of the white walkers, is ABSENT from the season eight premiere, but don't relax yet.

It's been almost two long years since the season seven finale, and there are just six episodes left to go until we see who sits on the Iron Throne. There will be plenty of action, with the Night King or not.

Season seven saw the army of the dead blasting the wall down with their new phantom ice dragon (RIP), so we're surprised that the Night King seemingly has no feature at all in episode one.

Furdik mentioned in an interview that the biggest battle television has ever seen will begin two episodes later, so his screen time is more than secure.

He spoke to Hungarian website Sorozat Wiki and let the GOT cat out of the bag:

"In the third part of the last season, there is a battle that the creators intend to be the biggest in television history. Almost the full episode will be about the battle, it will take about an hour."

The GOT cast list has since been deleted, but two surprising faces are returning to bring joy to many fans; Tobias Menzies and Lino Facioli, as Edmure Tully and Robin Arryn. Menzies is about to star as Prince Philip in The Crown.

Entertainment Weekly somehow managed to watch filming one of the key scenes, and confirmed that some very unexpected old names are in the mix;

There are characters in the finale that I did not expect, I gradually begin to piece together what has happened in Westeros over the previous five episodes and try not to look like I’m freaking out."

Game of Thrones returns to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14, get ready for the most drama you'll see in our lifetime.

Kit Harington has some intriguing information, to say the least. He KNOWS THINGS we don't; namely the Game of Thrones ending.

One of the biggest kept secrets in the entire universe, Kit has been carrying around some absolute bombs for months, and his poor wife has now been victim to the biggest one of all.

Jon Snow and Ygritte were (ARE) Game of Thrones' most tragic couple, and the real-life husband and wife are both highly invested in the show.

They're one of the cutest celebrity couples in the business, especially because their love onscreen was SO DAMN PALPABLE.

Harington has thanked the show in the past for bringing them together, speaking of how he fell in love with Rose after filming with her in Iceland.

During a radio appearance earlier in the week, Kit revealed the tension which still resides between him and his wife over the show…

Rose is a major Game of Thrones fan, considering her past role in the show. Naturally, she was curious about how the show ends, most likely since her husband is now smooching the Mother of Dragons.

She asked her hubby how she show ends, and he (stupidly) indulged her questions. BIG mistake, Kit.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he said, “I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days…and she’d asked!”

We're not quite sure if her reaction means that the ending is happy or tragic, but we're assuming tragic. George R. R. Martin and the showrunners are cruel men, they kill off everyone we love.

Kit Harington previously said he was satisfied with the iconic HBO series' ending, but refused to say if he was happy or sad about it. So it's 100 percent sad.

We're fairly sure Jon Snow isn't the only person to let slip TV's mother of all secrets. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, also told her nearest and dearest the ending too.

Would you tell your significant other, or parents, the finale spoilers? We probably would, TBH.

HBO has finally announced the exact release date for the final season of Game of Thrones.

Following more than a YEAR of speculation (they just love to keep us waiting, don't they?), the company revealed that the Emmy-award winning fantasy show will air on April 14 2019.

A trailer named Crypts of Winterfell was released, featuring Jon Snow, Sansa Stark and Arya Stark, and we're GASPING.

The trailer was aired just before the third season of True Detective

It was estimated that the eighth and final season would make it to the screen after Big Little Lies season two, on April 28.

Sky Atlantic is expected to simulcast and broadcast the premiere the evening after, but luckily for us, the show is returning sooner than anticipated.

The most incredible battle in the show's history will feature in the dramatic season, and we're SHOOKETH with anticipation.

Let's not lie to ourselves here, every single one of us will bawl our eyes out during the last season of HBO's iconic fantasy show, Game of Thrones.

How could we not? Any character who has survived up until now gets a medal, to be fair, and our favourites could die at any second.

The visual effects, the romance, the betrayals, the wars, THE DRAMA. *swoons* Kit Harington, Jon Snow himself, recently spoke to GQ Australia, where he revealed how difficult the final season was to film.

It made Harington cry more than once, but according to the protagonist and infamous member of the Night's Watch, the show "seemed to be designed to break us." Same here, Kit, same here.

"Everyone was broken at the end. I don't know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f–king tiring," he divulged to GQ Australia.

"We were sleep deprived. It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I'm f–king sick of this'," he added. We'd crave our beds too.

"I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, ‘I've had enough now. I love this, it's been the best thing in my life, I'll miss it one day—but I'm done.'"

Co-creator of the show David Benioff explained that the lengthy delay between seasons is because of how monstrous a job it is to get the episodes made, especially with the immense visual effects.

"The final season's taking a long time because it's the biggest thing we've ever done," Benioff said backstage at this years Emmys.

"It was nearly a full year in Belfast either prepping it or actually shooting it. I think when people see it, they're going to understand why it took so long. The last season is far beyond what we've ever attempted before."

"Benioff and D.B. Weiss knew the bar was high. They've exceeded the bar. I've watched them twice without any CGI and I'm in awe. Everybody's in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production."

The final season is set to debut in April 2019, and Harington can't wait to release it;

"And that weight is off my shoulders. It's done now. I can be proud of it. We've got eight seasons, and they can sit on a bookshelf at home 'til the end of time," he said.

In the snippet, Sansa tells Daenerys that: "Winterfell is yours, your grace," – EEK!

There's never a quiet moment in the White House, and today proves no different.

US President Donald Trump referenced HBO fantasy hit Game of Thrones to back up his border wall plans, and BOY did it fail.

He essentially brought his parody poster, which was an image of himself (of course) with the phrase 'sanctions are coming' scrawled across it in classic GOT style.

The sanctions are in reference to his notorious border wall proposal, which he wants to block off access from Mexico and various South American countries to the States.

The wall is set to cost over $25 BILLION if it's given the green light, and will also stop hundreds of people from living in Native American tribes from living there, as well as having disastrous consequences for wildlife.

SPOILER: We're pretty sure he hasn't watched the latest series of GOT, because the famous wall which blocks the North from the South is destroyed by the Night King in the finale of season seven.

Basically, the wall didn't work. Which makes Trump's use of GOT references even dumber…if that was even possible.

Cabinet employees tweeted that they had no idea why the poster was brought to the meeting.

Trump is most likely the first President to use memes in serious occasions such as discussions regarding immigration and North Korea.

HBO most likely aren't suing the President, but they made their distaste very clear:

Honestly, we have no words.

Winter better be coming for Trump, we don't know what other season could handle his ridiculousness.

Death is pretty much a given when it comes to Game of Thrones; whether it's the Red Wedding (RIP my heart), the Battle of the Bastards or just any kind of royal gathering, you're guaranteed to see bloodshed.

That being said, the upcoming and much-anticipated final season of the show will be pivotal when it comes to character killing, because the last one standing LITERALLY wins Game of Thrones.

*deep breathes* We're going to need a stiff drink to handle the tension and grieving which series eight will inevitably bring…

A new study published in the Injury Epidemiology journal tries to decipher the likelihood of characters meeting their bloody end, and has recorded data on 330 Game of Thrones personalities.

The data takes circumstances such as religious beliefs and social status into account based off each episode of the HBO smash hit show.

'What influences the chances of a character death?' we hear you ask. Author of the study, Reidar Lysad (he sounds like a character himself…) has said;

"The risk of death is high among characters in Game of Thrones.

By the end of the seventh season, more than half of the characters had died – 186 out of the 330 characters we included in this study – with violent deaths being the most common by far.!

snow eyes GIF

Apparently, switching allegiance makes you a lot more likely to survive in the show, but sticking to your morals and principles increases the chance that you'll reach the end.

Probably because it's always the sneaky snakes who can con their way into staying alive…

Women and 'highborns' are also more likely to continue with their lives, rather than poor, male characters.

episode 1 walking GIF

Which means… Queen of Westeros and General Nutjob Cersei Lannister might end up being the last gal standing. *gasps* but her prophecy??

Jaime Lannister, Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister all have higher chances of survival because of their tendency to switch sides, and their high status.

One in seven characters actually died within the first hour of their introduction, and the fastest end to a character was just 11 SECONDS. Good God, no one is safe.

The regular character is alive for roughly 29 hours, and only two deaths were from natural causes.

game of thrones season GIF

In Westeros, anything goes. They could all die, TBF, and the throne will be left icy and barren.

The outcome of the show is always unpredictable, and aims to be different than the expected.

As the saying goes; “When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die”.
