Picture your lovely, standard chocolate bark.. now imagine someone dipped it in glitter and added some real-life magic to it!

That is exactly what unicorn bark looks like… ONLY BETTER.

The gorgeous humans at Creme and Sugar in California created this magical treat, and we are so happy they did.

#BLESSED.

The best part is, this bark is really easy to create, and all you need is food colouring, white chocolate and colourful sweets!

Important reminder: unicorns are real, and so are mermaids… that is all.

We've had our fair share of nails trends in 2016 – going from plants growing from your nail buds to organic nail polish that you can lick right off.

But the latest nail trend just looks so rancid, we don't know why anyone would want them on their fingers.

A nail technician wanted food to meet beauty, and designed nails from nothing but chocolate icing.

Now, we know chocolate icing is delicious and everything, but do you really want that smudging all over the place.

Jessie Mills created these nails months ago, but have only really caught on on social media this week.

Jessie uses a mix of dark and white chocolate, caramel icing and edible silver balls to create the looks.

But before we get carried away with saying how rotten it looks, Jessie admits that she just did it for a bit of fun and they're not actually meant for everyday wear.

Still though… ew.

Despite trying to behave in the safety of November, everyone knows over the next few days any hope we once had of avoiding indulgence will swiftly evaporate into Winter's sky.

So, what better way to acknowledge the festive season than to combine two of its most celebrated assets in one soul-soothing beverage?

Cue: Boozy Hot Chocolate!  To mark the Christmas season, a number of Dublin’s top bars have added a spruced-up version of everyone’s favourite sweet drink to their cocktail menus.

Zozimus on Anne’s Lane has merged “a generous amount of golden rum” with “warm luxurious chocolate milk”, vanilla ice cream and crushed biscuit to create their festive offering.

Our Boozy Hot Coco is simply divine

What do we love more than gin? Very little, but chocolate would definitely be up there.

So naturally when we stumbled upon a gin and tonic FLAVOURED chocolate bar, our brains nearly exploded.

The wonderful wizards behind this delicious treat are Coco Chocolatiers, a UK based confectionery company.

According to their website, this gin and tonic bar is “organic, beautifully hand – tempered with aromatic Lemon & Lime oils that give it its subtle & refreshing taste.”

In simple terms: it’s god damn delicious and we want 110 bars of it.

One large bar of this chocolate will cost you £4.50, which is pretty decent value in our opinion.

If anything tops sitting down with your favourite bar of chocolate, it’s having that bar of chocolate turned into an unorthodox treat.

Bray has become the first town in Ireland to home a chocolate kebab shop, all thanks to one married couple with a sugar-coated dream.

After sourcing a special chocolate kebab machine online, Declan and Christina Woods opened Sprinkles Café Bar on the Main Street of the popular coastal town.

As well as choco kebabs, the café offers waffle pops, fudge puppies, smoothies, whipped ice cream and coffee; so, whatever craving you find yourself with, Sprinkles will surely sort you out.

As Christmas is around the corner, it's safe to say the sale of Toblerones are going to sky rocket.

You're pretty much guaranteed to see one in a present, or at work or even in Santa's stocking on the fire place.

However, Santa may not be getting any of the chocolate goodness this year as the bar has changed its shape… and people aren't happy about it.

The BBC reported this morning that Toblerones in the UK have been altered and now sport a larger gap in between the peaks.

Toblerone released a statement in the UK in October: "Like many other companies, we are experiencing higher costs for numerous ingredients.

"We carry these costs for as long as possible, but to ensure Toblerone remains on-shelf, is affordable and retains the triangular shape, we have had to reduce the weight of just two of our bars in the UK, from the wider range of available Toblerone products."

So basically, the 400g bar is now 360g and the 170g bar is now 150g.

And here's what the people of Twitter had to say about it:

However, the new change has yet to be confirmed for Ireland… but we're guessing it's only a matter of time.

First, there was the controversial arrival of Tayto Cheese & Onion chocolate; we've tasted the bars (not to mention the Easter eggs) and they are, ahem, a definite conversation-starter.

A strange concoction of sweet, salt, and cheese, yesterday SHEmazing! seemingly spotted on social media the latest incarnation of the fried-potato-chocolate-twist genre.

Step forward the Maltayto: that distinctive malt-crumb crispy centre covered in Tayto Cheese & Onion chocolate, surely?

Upon closer inspection, however, we realised it was only the messers over at Waterford Whispers News.

Still, the concept is an entirely solid one – and we reckon it would be mega-popular for Christmas.

As anyone with a sweet tooth will know, there is nothing better than chocolate.

And one of the reasons this tasty treat is being celebrated around the world today is because it is seriously versatile.

So here are 15 awesome things you can do with chocolate:

You can melt it.

Sprinkle it.

Drink it.

Spread it.

You can have a little bit…

Or a whole lot (we won’t judge).

Make smores with it.

Name songs after it.

Bake with it.

Top stuff with it.

Cheer yourself up with it.

Add peanut butter to it.

Watch movies about it.

Dip stuff in it.

And just generally love it.

Those cute little bars of Kinder chocolate are the healthier option, right?

They're so small they must be better than a Moro, or a Snickers, or even just a small bar of Dairy Milk?

Well, turns out they're way worse.

A German food watchdog has called for the bars to be recalled since after testing, it found that the chocolate has dangerous levels described as "likely carcinogens."

The watchdog said that mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons – which comes from oil when it's refined – have been found in the product.

Kinder made a statement to the Mail Online, saying that this isn't actually anything new and "traces of mineral oil exist nearly everywhere and they can be transferred to food in many different ways."

It continued: "Main migration sources are, for example, mineral oil components from printing inks and recycled fibre."

It added that they are trying their best to make sure all mineral oils will not be transferred to its products again.

The day after Easter was always a love/hate time with your parents. You JUST received more chocolate than you weigh, and yet your mam or dad would give out to you for eating too much, or getting sick if you take one more bite.

Of course, we always sneaked a little into our room to eat at night time (which, looking back probably caused all of those nightmares) but, now that we're adults, we can eat and drink as much as we want. Yay!

And if you have some lovely Créme Eggs leftover from yesterday, why not have a little party with your Netflix account tonight and indulge yourself with this Créme Egg Mojito.

We know what you're thinking. This is possibly just TOO MUCH. But, take a look at the recipe here (and then look at the fancy pictures) and we're sure you'll probably end up really wanting it (because we totally do):

Ingredients:

  • 25ml Barcardi
  • 25ml chocolate syrup
  • Sprig of mint
  • 25ml 1:1 Gomme syrup
  • Dash of lime juice
  • 25ml soda
  • 1 Créma Egg

Method:

Crush mint and place in glass with other ingredients. Stir with crushed ice, top with more ice and garnish with ½ egg and mint.

The creation comes from a bar's across London, but we'll settle having it tonight in our PJ's.

Easter Sunday is pretty much the only day of the year when it's universally acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. And one person who's been taking advantage of the chocolate free for all is Amy Huberman.

The famous mum-of-two took to Instagram this morning to share a snap of her protein-packed eggy breakfast… kinda.

"An egg a day is okay," Amy wrote alonside a snap of a massive chocolate egg sitting atop her egg cup.

And the Easter puns didn't stop there, as Ms. Huberman posted yet again a few minutes later, this time pulling silly faces and praying that an "Easter-ly wind" didn't leave her stuck like this:

Another one for the pun-ny books, just like last year's effort, "egg on toast":

As well as being the queen of the puns, Amy's been providing some SERIOUS style inspiration of late – this white Lennon Courtney jumpsuit was a steal from Dunnes Stores but looked totally on point at a pre-Oscars party in LA.

Could we love this woman any more?

shut up and take my money glee fangirl
