You haven't seen true thirst until you've witnessed the fan response to the new Shawn Mendes x Calvin Klein collaboration.

The Stitches singer has recently embarked on a world tour since releasing his new album, and is taking the globe by storm with endearing personality.

Those abdominal muscles are obviously having some kind of witchcraft effect on his followers, we think a few ambulances may need to be called after the #MyCalvins campaign dropped…

The video has been viewed over 400,000 times and his Instagram images have garnered over six million likes already. My God, the lad is popular enough with his shirt on, so this is just explosive.

The video shows lil baby Shawn talking about "his truth," which is the slogan for the campaign, alongside Billie Eilish clips. It's fairly cute, we have to say, and features Mendes maturely discussing his vulnerability as a young rising star:

 "I think the real strength is putting yourself out there, whether that's in your music or just in life in general. I'm vulnerable, and I think that's a good thing." Slay that toxic masculinity, young grasshopper. Fight the patriarchy.

The internet has been steadily lusting over Noah Centineo ever since he debuted as Peter Kavinsky in To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

They essentially hired him as their boyfriend, and the heartstrings have been tugged at every turn and Instagram photo from the actor.

He certainly knows how to get a reaction, that's for sure. He recently uploaded a series of images from his Calvin Klein modelling shoot, and sent the social media site into meltdown:

Well, our gal Lily didn't waste any time. We don't blame her, she went straight in with the comment and struck GOLD with his reply.

The Love, Rosie actress wrote, "I never look that good when I lounge." We understand that on a spiritual level, but Noah disagreed and wrote back, "Oh please" and a FLAMES emoji.

A flame emoji translates to; "Gurl, you are a fine-ass honey and I want to trap that bee in her hive."

An eagle-eyed fan also spotted some love-heart emoji's being exchanged, which in 2019 basically means you're married. We don't make the rules, the online community do, okay?

Emojis appear to decide the fate of existence nowadays, but we truly hope these two can meet again in person and further give evidence of their romance.

They're both gorgeous-looking people, and would have stunner babies.

 Noah and Lily actually do know each other, after working together on a project when he starred alongside and directed her in ARTY's Save Me Tonight music video.

Noah wrote at the time, "I convinced @artymusic to let me direct the music video for Save Me Tonight and somehow Lily Collins agreed to star in it with a bunch of our friends."

Lily also said it was "an insanely fun day." Yeah it was, because Noah was there.

So the dating rumours don't exactly sound legit, but we're heavily enjoying their harmless Insta-flirting. They've got chemistry, don't they?

Long may the flanter last, in our opinion. Carry on, we'll be shipping them in the corner.

The December issue of Men's Fitness features Nick Jonas… a LOT of Nick Jonas.

Displayed across the front cover of the magazine is the singer lifting his top up to delight us with his abs and bulging biceps.

It focuses on how Nick went from being a "teen idol" to a "leading man," and the people of the Internet are LOVING it.

The cover also indicates that you can get "huge arms" like Nick, so no doubt a lot of people will be diving into the issue.

But for now, we're just going to look at the swooning public of Twitter:

The new trailer for Neighbours 2 has just landed and let's just say it's ALL about Zac Efron's abs.

The short clip shows Zac's character, Teddy, trying to make a distraction but he finds out he's lost his number one distraction tool – baby oil.

In the bizarre turn of events, he ends up using meat straight off the BBQ.

But, hey, we're not complaining; baby oil, meat… Everything can make Zac Efron's abs look good.

The movie is set to land in cinemas next month and we just can't WAIT to see it.

Meanwhile, Zac has just announced he's split from his model girlfriend, Sami Miró, saying that the spark had gone out in their relationship.



If you think you've landed yourself the perfect job, think again because this woman is paid to put make-up on Zac Efron's abs. We kid you not.

She literally spends her day spraying bronzer on his hot body and outlines his abs so they can be seen in full on camera.

Whether Zac gets his defined body from working out or from his make-up artist, it doesn't really matter – we're going to be first into the cinema to see Baywatch when it comes out.

Now, let's all just enjoy Zac and be jealous of the woman who touches his abs everyday.

The humble plank is something of a wonder exercise for your core.

Not only does it promote core stability and balance, but it works around 20 muscles across your shoulders, back, arms, legs and glutes – meaning it's not just an abs exercise.

But if you've been using the same old plank in every abs workout for the last few months, it's probably time to change it up for something more interesting and challenging.

Keeping your workout routine varied is key to achieving more lean and toned muscle – so incorporate these plank variations into your next abs session for better results.

1. Shoulder touch plank
Start in the standard plank position – palms on the floor with hands slightly wider than shoulder width, feet together and toes on the floor, with your body in a straight line. Reach your right hand to touch your left shoulder. Place it back on the floor and use your left hand to touch your right shoulder. This is one rep – aim for 30.


2. Side plank (with added extras)
Place your left forearm and left foot on the floor, stacking your right leg on top. Hold for 30 seconds and switch sides. For more of a workout, raise your right hand up towards the ceiling and/or lift your right leg as high as you can without dropping your hips.


3. Reverse plank
A toughie, but so good for the core and the upper body. Sit on the ground with your legs straight out in front of you. Place your hands on the floor next to your hips with your fingers pointing forward. Lift your hips and aims to keep your body straight from chin to toes. Hold for 30 seconds.


4. Plant jacks
Nothing like a hint of cardio to get the heart rate up. Start in a standard plank position, then jump your feet outwards, as if you were doing a jumping jack. Return to the start position. This is one rep – aim for 30, moving as quickly as you can while maintaining a good form.


5. Plank row
You'll need a set of medium weights (with flat, not rounded edges) for this one. Hold one weight in each hand and get into the standard plank position. Bend your left elbow and slowly raise it up, so it's pointing toward the ceiling and you're holding the dumbbell at your side. Keep your elbow in tight to your side. Place your hand back down and repeat with the other arm. This is one rep. Aim for 15.


6. Knee-to-outside-elbow plank
The name's a bit of a mouthful, but it's easier than it sounds. Get into standard plank position. Pull your left knee forward as far as you can, aiming to touch your left elbow. Return to start position and repeat with right knee. This is one rep. Aim for 30. Keep looking forward the whole time, as looking back to check where your knee is will cause you to round your shoulders.



We all know amazing abs are easier to envy than actually achieve – and it's no secret that rock hard abs take a LOT of work.

But some women have it down to a fine art and these seven things are what they do everyday to keep their tummy toned:

1. They try new things

Your body adapts to new things quickly so it's important to change up your routine to achieve the best results.


2. They set realistic goals

Instead of going to the gym and only thinking about your abs; go thinking about getting an extra 10 seconds in your plank or lasting an extra five minutes running.


3. They use gym time wisely

If you don't have all day to be in the gym, think about what workouts are more efficient and what will help your body gain more in less time.


4. They opt for lean meats and smart carbs

Choose lean meats like chicken and fish, as well as sweet potatoes, rice, quinoa, and whole-grain breads to include in your everyday diet.


5. They cheat – but only every now and then

It's OK to have a day off and eay a large Dominos – you're only human after all. But make sure that your cheat day is only ONE day.


6. They do planks instead of sit-ups

Planks are more effective for targeting your core than a classic sit-up and are proven to engage more of your abdominal muscles.


7. They do cardio

There's really no way around it if you want amazing abs.


Actress Kate Hudson has always been something of a fitness fanatic, and if these latest photos are anything to go by, she's upped her game of late.

The blonde beauty is currently enjoying a holiday on the island of Skiathos off Greece with her mum Goldie Hawn, and is taking every opportunity to show off her toned beach body.

The How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days star posted a picture to Instagram yesterday proving just how much her hard work in the gym has paid off. Posing on a low wall next to a swimming pool, Kate looked every inch the Greek goddess:

If you were thinking that Kate's incredible-looking figure might be the work of some clever angles and Instagram filtering, you'd be wrong, as Kate was snapped by photographers in the exact same bikini just hours later while looking equally fabulous.

The actress headed to the beach with her mum and two friends, and while her two sons Bingham and Ryder are also on the trip they were nowhere to be seen. Maybe it's best – they probably wouldn't have been too keen to join in on this group photo:

Kate has spoken in the past about her love of exercise, saying she's happy even to get a short session in every day.

"I wouldn't say [I work out] a lot, just consistently," she told reporters at the Golden Globes this year, where she wowed in a skintight white Versace dress. 

"People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours… but, it can be little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes," she explained.

While her usual routine is a mile-long run three times a week, followed by a Pilates class, Kate says she has other options for when she's short on time. "I love skipping with a rope because it's one of the hardest cardio exercises you can do, but it's so easy. I do three sets of three minutes; I'm always shocked at how sweaty I get."

Sounds like a good system to us!


Clad in a neon pink sports bra, grey sweatpants and a light grey jacket – all from Penneys – Roz Purcell got just about everyone talking this week… or rather, her abs did. 

Shooting an Xposé segment featuring the Irish clothing retailer’s new summer workout collection, the former Miss Universe Ireland took to Instagram to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her look.

The image, which quickly notched up close-to 1,900 likes, was notable for Roz’s particularly toned and taut stomach – something which wasn’t lost on her fans. “Best pic I've ever seen of her #abs,” commented one Instagram user. “Look at this for perfection… jealous doesn't even cover it,” said another. “I hate sit-ups!” joked a third follower. 

But speaking exclusively to SHEmazing! today, Roz is typically modest about the image. “I promise, it’s all about clever angles and knowing how to hold yourself,” she laughs. “Every model knows how to do that.”

Shockingly, the 24-year-old also admits that as recently as last year, she struggled with persistent and painful bloating. “Eight months ago I couldn’t eat anything without getting seriously bloated,” she confesses. “It didn’t matter what I ate, the end-result would be a sore, swollen stomach.

She adds: “I went for a load of food intolerance test but they came back clear – which in itself is quite unusual. So I just kept telling myself that it was nothing and that it would gradually go away. But then as the weeks went by it only got worse. There were times I couldn’t sleep at night because of the pain.”

She says eventually it was a neighbour who encouraged her to go to hospital. “I bumped into the doctor that lives in the apartment below me one day and he said he was taken aback at how ill I looked. At first I thought, ‘oh, thanks very much!’ but he said I looked really drained and puffy.”

Roz went to hospital, where it was explained that a parasite was living in her gut. “I was told it was chronic, which means it had been there for at least six months,” she explains. “So I either picked it up in Jordan, where I had been with World Vision six months previously, or in Austria where I had done an Ironman. Part of the swim segment had been in water next to a heavily polluted river, so it could well have been that.” 

The Tipperary-native was subsequently treated with antibiotics. “Though that in itself was tough on my stomach,” she says. “My doctor explained that the drug I was taking was basically like chemotherapy for my gut.”

Unsurprisingly, these days she doesn’t take her digestive health for granted: “I make sure I get a pro-biotic in everyday. I don’t overload my stomach with big meals because I prefer eating little and often throughout the day. I’d snack on things like prunes too.”
