Brand new posters for Disney's live-action The Lion King have been released, building the anticipation even further for the film's release in just 49 days.

The images depict all of the beloved main characters with credits to their voice actors, and we can't contain our excitement.

Young Simba and young Nala, played by JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph are looking especially adorable, not to mention Billy Eichner as the iconic comedic character Timon.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was noticeably absent from The Lion King official trailers, so we're especially happy to get a closer look of what Nala looks like.

The 37-year-old singer stars alongside Donald Glover, who plays the lead role of Simba, and recorded a duet of Can You Feel The Love Tonight? with the musical actor.

During an appearance on Crooked Media's Keep It podcast, Billy Eichner teased Beyoncé's performance, saying:

"She’s definitely in the movie because I’ve seen a rough cut. And I’ve heard her sing Can You Feel the Love Tonight? with Donald Glover and I’m telling you, it’s f**cking good."

Opening in cinemas on July 19, the cast is also led by James Earl Jones as the original Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogan voicing Pumpaa and John Oliver as Zazu.

The original 1994 animated film was a box office smash, with an initial worldwide gross of 766 million dollars.

Opening up about your mental health struggles is a major step for anyone, famous or not. Telling your mum that you have depression or confiding in a friend about your battle with bipolar disorder takes a lot of strength. It is a massive step that shouldn’t be tainted by stigma or judgement.

Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington recently disclosed, via his representative, that he was spending some time at a wellness retreat to help cope with his personal issues.

When news broke that the actor, who plays courageous and noble Jon Snow, was seeking help for his mental health struggles tabloids were quick to shame him.

Image result for Kit Harington smile

The headlines made it seem like getting help for your mental health issues is shameful, dirty and something we shouldn’t do.

Surely we should be championing the fact that one of TV’s biggest stars is getting help for issues that darkened his life.

As author Matt Haig said, “Rehab is such a negative word. Thanks to pop culture. Thanks to the media. Going to rehab is a positive thing. It is the moment someone recognises their problem and plans to recover from it. It's a brave, wonderful, healing thing, and no-one should be stigmatised for it.”

Kit should be commended and respected for his decision to go on this wellness retreat because anyone who has gone through similar issues knows all too well that reaching out and saying ‘I need help’ is one of the biggest hurdles you have to overcome on this journey.

His name shouldn’t be splashed across headlines with the word 'rehab' in capital letters just to dramatise the story. Stories about previous low moments in his life shouldn’t resurface at a time when he is clearly struggling mentally.

He should be allowed recover in peace because regardless of his fame, his roles and his status, he is just a human. A human who was struggling and needed help.

Men are so often told to be strong and to man up, it's no wonder they are the ones who find it harder to cope with mental health problems. Men account for eight out of ten suicides here in Ireland.

They are suffering in silence, denying themselves the right to be treated and fight this heavy battle alone because of stigma, fear and a pathetic lack of support by both the Government, the media and the public.

We have made great strides in recent years, especially with the help of the See Change campaign. Wearing the green ribbon on your jacket may help people feel less alone, but it can only do so much.

Leo Varadkar and co. can wear a green ribbon upon their expensive suit jackets but what they really need to do is invest in mental health support. Show the public, show Ireland’s men that there is help out there, suicide isn’t your only option and that things can get better with the right help.

We shouldn’t look upon Kit Harington with pity, but with pride. He found the strength to seek help and proved to men that they don't need to 'man up' because there is no shame in your suffering.

Kylie Jenner's recent skincare launch hasn't been without its controversies, mainly revolving around walnut scrubs.

Fans are now DRAGGING her name to the dirt because of how she washes her face in a new Kylie Skin video. People are calling her a scammer thanks to the whopper foundation stains on her towel.

People have serious thoughts about this kerfuffle, to say the least. Kylie can be seen rubbing her new face wash onto herself for about a millisecond before rinsing it off and patting her face dry with a fluffy towel.

The fluffy towel then becomes basically a cesspit of foundation stains, and now everyone's busy calling Ms Jenner out as total 'scammer'.

Comments are claiming that the billionaire make-up mogul doesn't even use the products she's selling, and that she's lazy in her attempt to pretend to use them.

"Kylie Jenner washing her face for seven seconds reminds me of that girl pretending to rub the makeup wipe on her face," wrote one Twitter user.

Another pointed out that using cleanser for under five seconds does absolutely nada for your skin, and her new product doesn't work effectively as a result.

"Love you Kylie Jenner but if you’re showing people how to wash their face with your products, do it properly," wrote Heidi Schneider.

Another wrote;

"Kylie Jenner is real dumb for thinking she can fool anyone with her skin care brand?

"Sis is out here washing her face on camera using a filter not even letting the interested people see how it looks when she uses it AND there was foundation on the towel when she was done? No thanks."

An especially angry fan called her a rich b*tch "who goes to expensive dermatologists".

To be fair, she does have access to the best plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the world, so selling skincare products in the first place makes minimal sense…

People also pointed out that putting a filter on the video meant that the skincare product was shown in an even MORE inaccurate light as a result…Ah Kylie. Make more of an effort, hun.

"How do you live with yourself knowing you're a scam…" wrote another Twitter fan. Yikes, she is losing fans left, right and centre.

It's only a short demonstration video that Kylie threw up on her Instagram, it's not official branded content.

Mayyyyyybe she does use her own Kylie Skin face wash but does it better in real life? Maybe?

You can choose whether to give her the benefit of the doubt or not…

In terms of commitment, buying a house is up there with tying the knot. For that reason, house-hunting can feel strangely like dating. Just like those folks in your Tinder feed, there are so many potential homes out there to choose from. Each has their own unique characteristics. Some look fantastic on the outside but need a lot of work on the inside. Others might bore you slightly at first but eventually charm you over time.

Perfect Property, Ireland’s leading property search platform, has discovered the four types of house you’ll probably encounter in your house hunting adventure.

The Charming Older House

It’s a little older than what you’re used to, but you just can’t help yourself. You’ve been totally seduced by its charms and classic appeal. Like a fine wine, it has aged beautifully and only taken on more irresistible character over the years.

Your friends and family may have reservations about its structural stability and longevity. Sure, there may be a few creaks here and there, but you just can’t stop thinking about its timeless features. One thing is for sure, they don’t make houses like this anymore.

The Out of My League House

You get butterflies just looking at it. The proportionate aesthetics, the well-defined features, the size of it – ugh it’s hard not to hit that super-like button. Simply drop-dead gorgeous. You can’t help yourself dreaming about the luxury, the sophistication and the opulence.

But in reality, you know that the chances of even setting up a viewing are slim with a few too many zeros in the price tag. Maybe someday you will own a house like this, but for now you’ll have to be content with the photos and the fantasies they inspire.

The Diamond in the Rough House

It might feel a little beneath your usual high standards, but you just can’t help to see its potential. Sure, it’s a little rough around the edges, however, given enough time and effort you can surely turn it into something special. If you can picture the end result, there’s nothing that a newly purchased toolkit and a few YouTube videos can’t fix.

Your parents may initially disapprove of what they think is a sub-par choice for their offspring. But in a few years, you know that they’ll come around to appreciate what a wonderful home your house has become.

Despite the work required, you should be able to negotiate a decent price on properties like these and put your own stamp it exactly the way you want,” comments James Durr, English / Irish developer (Property Solvers).

The Take Home to Meet the Mother House

Practicality and functionality are the order of the day here. This is the kind of place that your mother would love to boast about down in the parish centre.

It’s well refined without being flashy. It’s interesting without having a host of hidden secrets. It’s charming without being cheesy and you can always rely on it no matter what. Once you get to know it, you’ll fall deeply in love with it. The only problem is that independence may be short lived with your mother knocking on the front door frequently.

Find Your Perfect Match

With so many properties to choose from it can be a daunting task to commit to one that you know you’ll love for the rest of your life. The good news is that unlike dating, a home won’t ghost you after a first viewing or still have an ex-owner in the picture.

Whether you’re starting your house hunting adventure or you’re a seasoned veteran, be sure to find a property that doesn’t just suit you right now but one you can grow into. With Perfect Property’s Perfect Match feature, your ideal home is only one search away.

ITV bosses are about to get some SERIOUS hate mail after the latest comments on body diversity. Brace yourselves for this one, people, it's an absolute corker.

Richard Cowles, creative director of ITV Studios Entertainment, are claiming that the reason Love Island is lacking body diversity is because they want the contestants "to be attracted to one another".

The reality show has been garnering huge criticism in previous years over failing to cast contestants with a range of body types.

A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) on

The 2019 islanders for season five were unveiled last Monday, and fans of the show quickly took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

The contestants are typically toned, slim and bronzed with gleaming white teeth; zero change from the last four seasons. Former stars of the show also expressed concerns at the lack of physical representation.

Cowles suggested the reason Love Island usually shows only one physique is because other body types might be deemed LESS attractive by other contestants, which is something only a massive d*ckhead would say.

A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) on

“I think we try to be as representative and diverse as possible,” Cowles saisd “It has to come back first and foremost- it's an entertainment show and it's about people wanting to watch people we've got on screen and then reacting and falling in love with one another.

“Yes we want to be as representative as possible but we also we want them to be attracted to one another.” *Sharpens knife*

The  Love Island boss continued to dig a bigger hole by saying the show isn’t encouraging people to aspire to a certain body image, it just chooses participants based on who they think the public want to watch for eight weeks.

So basically, only this one narrow body type can appear on television, because the public refuse to watch any other varieties of physiques. Wow.

“We're saying here's a group of people that we want to watch for eight weeks, and we want to watch them fall in love,” Cowles added. “That's not at the front of our mind, but we do want to be as diverse as possible.”

Former islanders Alexandra Cane and Malin Andersson both spoke out about their disappointment over the 2019 line-up.

Cane tweeted: “Where the curvy girls at?” while Love Island 2016 star Andersson, wrote: “And I thought they would have some diversity. Meh.”

A spokesperson from ITV2 later said:

“When casting for Love Island, we always strive to reflect the age, experiences and diversity of our audience and this year is no exception with a cross section of different personalities and backgrounds in the villa." Maybe strive a tad harder, eh?

The reality show has also received complaints about the lack of care for the mental health of contestants, following the suicides of Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon.

While the series came under scrutiny for reasons of mental health and compassion on social media, it seems the public are still commenting on the bodies of those involved in the new season

The show has since introduced aftercare processes in a string of changes.

Some fans are even calling for the show to be removed from the air entirely, especially after The Jeremy Kyle Show drama.

One thing is for sure, they need to do better. Full stop.

We've all experienced the feeling of "burning the candle at both ends"; intense stress, rising heart rate and endless exhaustion.

This experience of fatigue and depression as a result of anxiety and lack of control is now formally recognised by the medical community: Burnout is now an official workplace syndrome.

The workplace disorder is now classified as “a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed,” according to WHO.

Burnout is now included in the International Classification of Diseases, the World Health Organisation’s handbook which helps medical providers in terms of diagnosis.

Initial reports characterised the classification as a medical condition, but WHO clarified that it's an 'occupational phenomenon'.

The common symptoms of burnout include energy depletion or fatigue, increased medical distance from one's job or feelings of negativity or cynicism related to one's employment. Reduced professional efficacy is also included in the list.

The handbook notes that the syndrome “should not be applied to describe experiences in other areas of life" outside of occupation.

CNN claims that the science behind burnout dates back to a 1974 study by the psychologist Herbert Freudenberger.

Burnout has widely been infused into society as a talking point of stress and workplace exhaustion, but wasn't taken seriously as a legitimate medical condition and was associated with younger generations.

Many young people claim that they have internalized the idea that they should be working 24 hours a day. This new classification can help validate those who need medical assistance to help them manage burnout.

New research has shaken us to our very sexual core…almost HALF of Irish people have never been tested for a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Shame on you, lads.

One-in-five (22 percent) of those asked said they wouldn't be confident in recognising symptoms, and one-in-eight (12 percent) said they were "not at all confident" in spotting signs of an infection

Almost one-in-six (16 percent) of Irish people admitted that they would never divulge details about their sexual past to their partner. 44 percent said they would discuss their sexual history once in a serious relationship.

Researching symptoms online was the first move for 18 percent of participants, saying they would turn to sites like Google for advice. 17 percent said they would at least consult a medical website, but it can be difficult to know which ones are accurate.

Men were slightly more likely to talk to their doctor about a sexual health concern than women, with 65 percent of men stating this as opposed to 60 percent of women. This may be due to the gender pain gap in healthcare.

Interestingly, men were less likely to confide in their partner or a friend than women. A quarter of men would wait until symptoms developed before getting an STI check, instead of 21 percent of women.

Only 8 percent of men said they would never get checked after unprotected sex, compared to 7 percent of women. These is still shockingly low numbers…
