Well, we didn't see this coming.

It has emerged that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are set to tie the knot in the City of Lights – how romantic.

The couple, who are said to have been secretly dating for five years, have never publicly confirmed nor denied their romance.

However, they did step out holding hands in September 2017 on the a in Malibu. 

While Jamie has been steadfastly by Katie sides since he began their relationship in 2013, it has been reported that the 39-year-old has convinced him to settle down.

A source said, “Paris is the city where they decided to go public with their romance after years of sneaking around.''

''Jamie’s been a handful ever since they started secretly dating in 2013 – but Katie’s convinced him to settle down, and they’re ready to make it official.”

Katie has waited a long time to get hitched to the 50-year-old Oscar winner and now she's “desperate for a winter wedding in the City of Light.”

This will be the first time down the aisle for Jamie, although he has two daughters from a previous relationship –  24-year-old Corinne and eight-year-old Annalise.

Katie was married to Tome Cruise for six years before they got a quickie divorce in July 2012.

She has full custody of their daughter, 12-year-old Suri.

Renowned film director Quentin Tarantino has married his fiancée Daniella Pick in an intimate ceremony today in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has reported.

The happy couple have been engaged since July 2017, with Israeli news publication Haaretz being the first to announce the ceremony would be taking place.

The Israeli singer chose fashion designer Dana Harel to designed four white wedding dresses for Pick in the run up to her nuptials.

Pick and Tarantino first met in 2009 when the well-known director was promoting his film Inglorious Basterds in Israel. Pick announced their engagement last year through her Instagram, saying;

"'We're so excited and happy to celebrate our engagement here in ISRAEL," she posted. "Thanks for your kind wishes. We feel truly blessed."

Pick shared photos of her lavish bridal shower on her Instagram, with the singer wearing a flower crown and frilly white gown, as well as the classic 'bride-to-be' sash in gold letters. 

The 55-year-old director is scheduled to release Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, his latest offering, in 2019.

The movie centres around the controversial antics of the Manson family murders of 1969, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie.

There are a few things you may expect to find in the Liffey – a bobbing seagull, an upturned trolley, perhaps even a class of enthusiastic paddle boarders.

A dolphin is generally not one of them. 

However, to the delight of bystanders, a dolphin was in fact spotted diving around the Liffey's waters today in central Dublin.

 It is thought that the dolphins unusual course may be down to Storm Diana. 

The dolphin is of the Common Dolphin species. 

'The weather is affecting his sonar, he should return by himself to the Irish Sea but the situation will be monitored over the next day or so,' The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) told The Irish Times, after speaking to the Marine Animal Rescue.

Margaret Atwood is writing a sequel to her novel The Handmaid's Tale. 

The new offering is reported to be inspired by the current state of the modern world.

The original novel, written in 1985, has since sold over 8 million copies. 

The book was then adapted into an exceptionally popular two-series TV show in 2017 and 2018 respectively. 

The show has been nominated for 18 Emmy Awards across both series, of which it has won 6.

The handmaid's red capes and white bonnets became synonymous as symbols of an oppressive society, symbolism which was used in marches to repeal the 8th amendment in Ireland ahead of the landmark referendum in May, and in America in protest against POTUS Donald Trump.

Netflix has revealed its plans to create an animated series from the iconic Roald Dahl story universe.

And we are getting all the childhood feels!

Netflix and The Roald Dahl Story Company jointly announced today that an exclusive new slate of original animated event series will be coming to our Netflix screens.

Novels to be included are Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG, The Twits, and many other beloved titles.

“We will bring together the highest quality creative, visual, and writing teams to extend the stories in this first-of-its-kind slate of premium animated event series and specials for audiences of all ages and for families to enjoy together,” Netflix said.

“[We intend] to remain faithful to the quintessential spirit and tone of Dahl while also building out an imaginative story universe that expands far beyond the pages of the books themselves.”

Roald’s widow Felicity is fully on board with the project and is excited to continue her husband’s legacy.

“Our mission, which is purposefully lofty, is for as many children as possible around the world to experience the unique magic and positive message of Roald Dahl’s stories,” she said.

“Roald would, I know, be thrilled.”

Production on the first of the series is set too begin in 2019, and we can’t wait.

Posting the clips on his Instagram, his daughter is bopping along to his tunes. 

Stormi is clearly impressed (as are we) with her dad's talent as you can hear her giggling with excitement.

Kylie has been supporting Travis' music too, as she packed her bags and went on tour with their child – which is a huge deal because let's face it, traveling alone can be tricky, nevermind when you have to look after another baby human.

She announced the bold move back in August and took to her Instagram stories to show off a sleeping Stormi.

Referring to their time on tour, Kylie wrote: "She comes everywhere with me…the favourite little road dog."

The 21-year-old also uploaded a GORGE selfie in orange trousers and white crop top to mark Travis' performance in Madison Square Garden.

Winter is here and there is one type of food that makes us particularly happy at the moment, the humble bowl of soup.

Filling, healthy, cheap to make, they are the perfect meal when it's freezing outside.

Full of vegetables, high in protein, this hearty soup can also make for a delicious lunch the next day. Give it a go!

Ingredients

  • 100g butter 
  • 1 small carrot, finely diced 
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced 
  • 1 small onion, finely diced 
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • 500ml whole milk
  • 70g flour 
  • 1 can sweet corn
  • 400g cooked chicken, shredded 
  • 900ml chicken stock
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg 
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, melt half the butter. Add the onions and sauté until translucent. Add the carrots, celery and garlic and continue to cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the potatoes and chicken stock, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.

2. While the soup is simmering, melt the remaining butter in a medium sauce pan. Whisk in the flour and cook until golden, about 1 minute. Whisk in the milk and continue to stir until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

3. Pour the sauce into the pot with the vegetables. Add the corn and the chicken and cook for a further 5 minutes. Serve with fresh thyme.

However, in her Instagram stories, Megan posted a screenshot of a message from an Insta user.

The message showed a picture which had been on Megan's story, along with three words: "So fat now."

Megan slammed the body shamer and said people like that are the reason why a lot of young girls have issues with their bodies. 

The Love Island babe wrote: "Mate, it's people like this tool that are making young girls pick fault with themselves."

"How's she calling me fat at a size 10?! Girls embrace your curves," she added – you tell them, gal!

It's hard enough to accept our bodies, so if you've got nothing nice to say about someone else's bod – do everyone a favour and just don't comment.

Last night marked the annual Irish Book Awards. Talented authors suited up and put on their best dress to anxiously await the final results.

Some of those included in the nominations were Emilie Pine, Graham Norton, Sally Rooney, James Kavanagh, and the Aisling girls Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen.

The Late Late Show’s Ryan Tubridy was also in attendance to support the winner of RTE Radio 1’s The Ryan Tubridy Show Listener’s Choice Award: Skin Deep by Liz Nugent.

Nugent’s compelling thriller also took home the trophy for the Irish Independent’s Crime Fiction Book of the Year.

Jameela Jamil might have just won 2018 – like seriously, someone give her an award.

Taking on the world of diet teas, the presenter made an EPIC video which takes the piss out of the false promises influencers and celebs can make about some weight-loss detox products.

The 32-year-old captioned the video: "If celebs and influencers were actually honest with us about some of these diet/detox products…"

The video begins with Jameela in a yellow dress, with a glass of green liquid in hand.

She starts to mimic the same scripts we are all too familiar with when hearing about the diet teas. 

She starts to exaggerate to highlight the ridiculous claims some people make about the drinks: "I've only been taking it for three days and I've already lost 35 pounds and I've got abs…" 

Then commences some more realistic side effects that the liquids can cause – and if you've got a weak stomach, turn off the sound. 

The actress is seen on the toilet with all those juicy sound effects in the background.

Still sticking to the script, her make up is now run down her face and we feel sweaty just looking at her.

"Discount code is in my bio…it burns" she finishes.

We honestly love her so much for being so honest with her experiences with certain detox products. 

So if you are going to buy a diet tea, make sure you know exactly what it does to your body.

We LOVE the real body positive messages that Jameela preaches.
